One of the nicer grocery stores Downtown and on the Eastside. The bakery has just enough items and specialty cookies,etc. including a gluten free section. Broasted chicken or their rotisserie version is one of the better choices in town. Many produce items are on special and easily navigated since the store is smaller than others. The butchers are friendly and the frozen shrimp are the best in Milwaukee. Shop for the unique atmosphere and return for the great employees. Many people are always smiling at Fresh Thyme.

Out of the wine I like . Staffer told me they will not be getting it anymore. He Did not know much about wine. Some sale items only available for a "presale" on the app. Prices higher in person. Frustrated because I take the bus and would have to make a whole other trip back after purchasing on the app- ridiculous. Prices on everything have gone up about $1. Will be cutting back on shopping here. They were out of the chocolate gelato . I like shopping here , nice and clean plus they sell plants for the garden. Prices are high though. Sale 30 percent off vitamins thru August 2. Easy to get to with the bus. They are usually nice about fixing errors at checkout but last time the guy was weird about it. Always check your receipt. (All stores not just here) now they got rid of regular cash wraps and replaced with self serve. Kind of takes the personal touch out of the experience. Cashier over packed my bag so it was too heavy for me to carry and when I told her it was too heavy she said "you should have told me before I started" she also kept singing while ringing up my items. Pizza prices keep getting higher but they had a BOGO 50 sale making the price "normal"

Fresh Thyme is a great place to get groceries! Their prices are very competitive, their produce is great, and their meats are very good quality. I also love their prepared foods - bacon ranch pasta salad and loaded baked potato salad are my favorites. And to top it all off, their carts have a handy wine bottle spot!

I’m giving Fresh Thyme 5 stars mainly because the staff always makes my day. Each employee I’ve interacted with was incredibly nice and super helpful. I have to say their organic produce section is lacking, but their regular produce section is alright. I also appreciate that they have a good variety of vegan foods as well. However, every time I’ve gone in the staff has been wonderful and I can’t say enough how much of a difference it makes to be greeted with so much kindness. When I go to Whole Foods, the staff never seems to be in nearly as good of a mood or nearly as friendly. I suppose you could blame Jeff Bezos in part for that. But this Fresh Thyme is pretty great overall and I’d much rather go here for groceries despite the very small organic section.

I am very impressed with the concept of this store. Got a little bit of a snub when I used my food stamp card when I asked if I needed to pay again. The feeling I was left with was that I wasn't really paying but using a food stamp card. But, I am not a hater didn't think about it again until just now. The main point is the disappointment with the packaged dried papayas from Deerfield Illinois. It seems that they added sugar it says low but the taste is quite high. And they added food coloring. Basically it tastes like very sweet candy. My thoughts are that we as a country have completely departed from the original health food store movement of like the 1980s and 1990s. Before Wholefoods bought out all of the small health food stores there were a multitude of them sprinkled across the country. We had them in Chicago. Evanston was a hub of naturalists and Birkenstock wearers. And the people that worked in those "Health Food Stores" believed in and practiced the lifestyle themselves. Even if they said nothing you could see they lived what they were working about. That is not so common these days. But to take the dried papayas away from the already natural innate qualities and enzymes that are already in them. We really are losing quality and nature as a culture. I ordered Organic Sage from Mountain Rose Herbs Bulk online...an imported batch from Italy. It appears that the essential oils and natural aromas of the entire pound of Organic Sage that I sacrificed to order had been boiled or steamed out and then sprayed with a synthetic sedative. Thanksgiving has a great deal to do with the fragrance and the natural calming properties of Sage in the home around the table and in the dressing or stuffing. So much is changing. We are ordering too much from overseas of our powders and herbs on Amazon. There is no quality control. Mountain Rose Herbs says that they do quality control checks with their in-house scientists of all the bulk herb batches that they bring in. But it is not true. I have ordered from them for years and have gotten a number of poor quality herbs in from smelling like human waste was used to fertilize the crops (or reclaimed waters) of Licorice Root and Burdock Root to boiled out Sage. In short the dried papaya with their medicinal enzymes are just Brachs gel candy slices or drops. My point is if I wanted a bag of Brachs gel candy slices or drops then I would have gotten those, but I was reaching for an all natural, healthy alternative to candy and cookies and pies and cakes. That being said the concept of Fresh Thyme and pretty much your store I really love.

Absolutly an amazing store, but what makes it amazing is one employee who is out of this world. This older gentleman who always welcomes everyone and wishes them a good day or a happy holiday, I need to find out his name he needs a raise. Every establishment needs an employee like him. I can tell how much love he puts into his job.

Great prices, quality and selection. Its got a ton of prepared food, cheese, dips and the like. Definitely leans on healthy and organic side of grocery stores and can be a bit pricey but they have awesome deals too so if you keep your eyes to their discounts I'm sure you'll get a great deal.

I can always find the freshest organic foods at Fresh Thyme Markets. Their Deli Meat and Sea Food sections are excellent; and I just love their fresh produce and vegetables especially during this time of season. Their prices are an excellent buy when your family is looking to buy farm fresh produce, meats, and sea foods. Especially when your family is looking to be more healthier during these tremendous times that we are living in. I highly recommend that you should give them a try for yourself and see the healthy results for yourself.

Nice grocery store that doesn’t feel like a warehouse. Produce and meat sections are excellent. Limited general grocery selection, but that is due to size of store. Quality of products is great, however, if not a little pricey. Staff is always been helpful and friendly. For a smaller store, they do have a lot of specialty areas, such as deli, hand made pizzas, soup and salad bar and coffee area.

Huge fan of this place! I've been there 3 times in the span of a week. The best way to describe this place would be if Whole Foods and Trader Joe's had a baby. I get more of a Whole Foods vibe on the inside. But the prices are cheaper like a Trader Joes. Plus, I feel like Fresh Thyme has a larger selection of foods (specifically in their perishables section) than a Trader Joes. I love that I can shop on a Sunday or Monday and it's not packed. However, I am thinking that is due to the fact they are still new.

Fresh Thyme has always been very well organized and clean. Right from the sanitization station at the entrance to the layout inside. Not only is it appealing but it is easy to navigate especially if you are a first time visitor. The human touch is worth a shout-out, the staff is hospitable and friendly and always greet you with a smile behind their masks 😊 you can tell. Products worth trying are there fresh thyme line of fresh juices and their dairy products. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always fresh. Please inform all your staff that they are doing a splendid job and that they make a huge difference to why people choose to come back to you. Thank you.

Fresh Thyme is my favorite grocery store and I normally go to the milwaukee location but today one of their cashier’s treated me awful when I try to use an invalid coupon. This specific cashier failed to explain why I couldn’t use the coupon and treated me like I was stealing. Thankfully her manager came over and explain to me why I couldn’t use the coupon in very straight forward approach which I appreciate. Ended buying the item with the coupon but based on this interaction with the original cashier I think I’m going to start going to the greenfield location. (I did write to the specific location and I hope this cashier gets training/ reminder to just explain coupon usage and how to respectfully treat a customer).

My goodness, tonight was my first time visiting here and it was AMAZING!! I wanted tofu and Aldi didn't have any so my friend suggested this place and it did not disappoint! $40 later Aldi who? Lol. Lovely market. Not as expensive as a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's while still able to provide competitive products. It's a clean, well kept establishment with friendly employees! Can't beat some of the produce and meat/fish deals on Wednesdays (their double deals day) and there is always some sort of sale or promotion going on. But my favorite thing is the convenience of parking! The underground (well-lit) structure has plenty of space and is very safe. Great location - they have a customer in me!

Today was my first visit to Fresh Thyme, though I have always wanted to stop. I love this store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Brandon, who works in produce, went above and beyond helping me with my items and showing me some of the special things they do. The natural peanut butter was yummy, and I love the honey, olive oil and vinegar station. I'm hooked. Can't wait to come back.

Since moving from Stevens Point, we had to find a whole new grocery store. It wasn't a hard find with this place. It is absolutely amazing and it has such a homey energy to it. The staff is always super friendly and helpful if you need them and they are never far away. They have great produce and meat which is just very important to me since I am all about quality food. You can't find everything that you need but you do find some really interesting products that you wouldn't find in just a regular grocery store. This is a great place to buy food when you are having super, important guests over or something like that. The price is very affordable and the quality is out of this world remarkable.

Lovely local grocery store with lots of vegan options. Really excellent customer service too. I complained about a vegan product being mislabeled in the bakery, and a few days later I received a handwritten note in the mail apologizing for the issue and a $20 gift certificate! They really went above and beyond to resolve the problem and make me feel valued as a customer. Just an overall pleasant experience every time I shop there.

They have a great selection of fresh produce and meat at reasonable prices. I absolutely love getting spices here because they let you buy as much or as little of each spice as you need. You have to be careful buying anything else here as the prices can get a little crazy but if you stick to their own generic items the prices are usually really good for the quality of the products.

This is my go-to spot for groceries. The produce alone makes it worth the trip. They have wonderful deals on locally produced items! The store is clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly. And for all millennials, this store has the best deals on avocados that I’ve seen in the entire city.

A nice, small-ish grocery store with a lot of delicious options, and things you might not find elsewhere (yellow watermelon?!). The prices are reasonable, but definitely higher than a big-box store like Pick n Save. Staff were also very friendly, and when we asked to sample something at the deli we got a nicely large portion to try. Overall a really good experience.

Very nice local- and organic-focused grocery on the border of the Lower East Side and downtown. They stock plenty of everyday items you would stock in your kitchen, including produce, meat, frozen goods, and beverages, all of which are moderately priced. Staff are very nice. Shelves are packed. Very spacious and not too busy beyond 7:00 PM.

Fresh Thyme has always been a nice grocery store, but lately I’ve been loving this location even more. It is extremely convenient if you live on the East Side (minus the tight parking lot). The quality of their produce has been consistently better than many grocery stores in the area, and the prices are comparable. The bakery items really stand out; the variety of fresh breads and pastries available is fantastic, and I LOVE the croissants!

Another one of my favorite places! Right in my neighborhood, but the rewards system is not so good. My rewards should link up with the items I buy also givee more then 2 days to use a coupon saving 10 on 50 for example. This week alone I was in the store 3 days this week but get the coupon later in the week after spending more then 50!

The store is great; I purchased some lemons, roma tomatoes, pink lady apples, cucumbers for a salad, and chicken legs and thighs for dinner. They carry weekly and sometimes daily specials, they also carry cage free and organic products; a good assortment of potted plants and flowers. The customer service is excellent. I highly recommend that you check this store out.

Fresh Thyme tries to be a health food store, with a more limited selection at higher prices than its competitors. I recommend going to Whole Foods instead, to get the experience that Fresh Thyme is aiming for. Biggest plus of Fresh Thyme - the staff is really friendly!

Yesterday was my first time there and I REALLY enjoyed it. I knew exactly what I needed out of there and found it with no problem. The lines were not long (no wait time actually) and waiting in lines is one thing I dread when I have my two year old on the trip with me! The ground beef was so fresh!! I cooked it soon as I got home and I could tell the differnce in the way it cooked! I found my new go to spot for my grocery needs I plan on taking my time and looking around the whole market next time.

I shop here every week. Great deals and fresh fruits & vegetables. I've purchased chicken and beef from here. The beef turned grey after being in the fridge 2 days. The chicken didnt tatse good at all. Now, I avoid the meat altogether. Still a great place to shop.

Fresh Thyme is always a great place to shop. They are very friendly, helpful and upbeat. The best day to shop is Wednesday, the sales paper from the week before is still current and the new sales papers is also in effect. So you have double sales every Wednesday. They back up their food and returns are not a problem. You can get rain checks at the register if they run out of a sale item. If you can not find something just ask one of their staff and they will help you find it or direct you to the person who can help. I used to have to take a min. 3 hour bus ride to Oak Creek to get the best deals for my daughter but not most of the time. I have been shopping at Fresh Thyme since the very day they opened last year.

I like them for most things. Sometimes the produce is very small or it goes back too quickly. Also realized today they simply don't sell baby back ribs. Not a huge deal but still. They also don't sell any mainstream candy which can be good and disappointing. Overall I enjoy going frequently.

I liked this location much better than Greenfield. Bigger store, more products. Parking still an issue but better b/c underground structure. Complaint: saw something on sale. Grabbed 2 pkgs. First they wouldn't ring up. Then after I got home I realized the bottom PKG price per pound was DOUBLE the pkg on top. Too far to go back, but am keeping the pics & receipt in my purse if I get back that way.

This place is a lot like Whole Foods, but much less pretentious and better prices... Usually. Produce is superior to other local grocery stores, as is the meat and fish, but unless you can catch things on sale, it can be pricey. It's very hit-or-miss.

I went there on the weekend and three items weren't priced. Two were holiday(cookies and a toy) which is understandable but the sauerkraut isn't holiday...it's a staple in the 4-1-4

Usually go to Fresh Thyme once weekly for work munchies. I like their fresh selection on nuts: cashews, praline pecans, toffee peanuts, sessame sticks, etc. Sometimes, and very irregularly, something really interesting & cool, such as lavender coconut toasted pecans, which I thought I'd hate turned into something great! Unfortunately it was available only once. I've gotten fresh Jackfruit there which was excellent, fresh spiced tuna sashimi (great!) And some other fresh fruit, veggies, & spices, and some frozen seafood on sale... Used to get coffee there as whole bean or ground, but I dont like blends or flavored types, and most of their coffee, although well priced, just isnt distinctive enough. (So back to Collectivo, Stone Creek or similar.) I've also used Fresh Thyme as 1st choice before going to Pete's, Pick'n save/Metro-Mart, Whole Earth, Sendiks, Cermak, or Wal-Mart for what I need for special recipes (teas, spices, turky red "heritage" flour, barley malt for baking, etc., but none of them have what i need either!!). So bottom line, "A" for effort, "B-" for implementation. Indoor underground parking lot during inclement weather is a Great Plus!!

I am very excited this was put in my neighborhood. I would say it is a great mix between a Trader Joe's and a Whole Foods. The prices are good and the food is fresh. They even have one of those fancy escalators for grocery carts! (take notes shorewood MetroMart). Highly recommend, there is plenty of room in the underground parking for you!

Good place to go if you like a Trader Joe's cage free, natural granola crunching type of place. They even have a coffee bar; and a real bar that both open early. Cost is a bit much, but hey, your meat that you are getting had never heard a swear word ever. Also cheap nuts.

If you're into the "grocery scene" then you've come to the right place. The prices aren't bad when they have promotions, but otherwise you'll probably pay more than you need to. Cute store, and cute shoppers...probably a place to pick up lettuce and a girl.

Wonderful little gem of a restaurant serving the healthiest of foods, vegan, with or without dairy, almost all organic. Breakfast and lunch and dinner. After dining, shop in the grocery store for locally grown produce and much more. Friendly staff.

I loved my experience there. Some things are more expensive than Pick N Save or Cermak but the Fresh Thyme store brand stuff is really cheap and better priced than the others. The items on sale are really on sale with great prices and deals! The peanut butter machine is super awesome! There is a large assortment of bulk items. There were plenty of BOGO items also. Update Friday May 26th, 2017: I don't know what's happening but lately prices scan differently than what is on the display. Coupons don't always come off when scanning with the app. Employees hiding behind aisles on their cell phone. Also some serious hood buisness going on when calling, no professionalism is speech.

Best grocery store in the midwest. The only thing holding this place back is Wisconsin laws on raw dairy. I hope one day this state comes around and allows are dairy to be GREAT AGAIN!
