Overall I think it's very clean. They also have thermal cameras to keep out any feverish people for all those who take extra precaution to be exposed to Covid-19. Anyways, Produce items were fresh as well as items from the meat department. Wide variety of seasoned beef pork and chicken. Also, great seafood section. But my favorite was Bakery. They always have great produce sales. I come here for fresh fruits and veggies. They keep it very clean. No old meat and chlorine smell when you enter the store. Miller park cermak has better international goods but this one is less crowded, cleaner and more organized. Prepared food section ou s awesome. The gelatos are yummy! Check out their chicken deals too. They always have chicken parts on sale like $2 for a tray of drumsticks (about 8 pcs.) Or $2.50 for a tray of chicken thighs (8pcs)

Oh my goodness. This is really a culinary treat. I have not ever experienced such a variety of pretty much everything and anything you could ever think of! The fruits and vegetables is a gorgeous display of color and freshness. The meat and seafood counter goes on forever and everyone is so helpful! We ordered a half order of loaded nachos at the deli and it was really tasty! The prices are extremely fair and competitive. We loved the experience and will be back!

My lovely wife had craving for their Carnitas. So we load up the car and drive 100 miles to satisfy her craving. (You know the old saying, happy wife, happy life). Well unfortunately the deli didn't have any that day. We stocked up on various meats and bakery items and just when we were about to leave we noticed that they did have Carnitas on the fresh made cafe menu where you can also get burritos, tacos and tortas so we ordered a couple tacos and a Carnitas burrito which they assemble right before your eyes with any and everything imaginable. Made for a great lunch.

Well. There is no cermak in Appleton Wisconsin I was in Milwaukee at my niece's and they have a cermak out there. They do have good quality and I do like the Mexican bakery There It's a really good place to shop.

No one here wears a mask. No cleaning supplies when you enter. Prices are generally high. Some items are priced ok. Lots of items don't have any prices. The smaller carts are hard to find. No paper bags available and there is no receptacle for plastic bags. Last visit many items were not available. Bread, cheese had empty areas. I like to cook ethnic dishes but several items no longer available.Tres leches cake is Great.tarts are great. Bakery department really impressive. More cheeses coming back.

Cermak has 2 locations in Milwaukee and both are known for fresh produce, poutry, meats, and bakery. The customer-friendly staff, clean aisles, and stocked shelves reflect terrific management and high hiring standards. Prices are wonderful, even as other stores are inflating their's. They offer fresh sushi, tons of deli meats and cheeses, and custom bakery orders. But one of the most unique items I discovered is the encased roses which all my lady-friends love! Cermak is worth the visit and the time to tour the aisles.

I really like Cermak over the Kroger-owned stores in our area. Cermak has a large selection of items, and a wide variety of Hispanic food items. Stores are very clean.

It's fun to shop here. There are so many fresh and pantry items that you don't see in other grocery stores. Prices are reasonable and low for some items- shop the sales! My one concern is the staff- everyone looked miserable. We got a bottle of wine and the cashier asked the "manager" person for help. Neither looked at each other, me or really said anything. I worry about work conditions.

Affordable produce!!!!!!! I used to have to go all the way to the Cermak on the otherside of mke. Now I can easily bike here. Tons of options. Affordable, fresh, and great deli. The store is beautifully designed too. My pics are of some salsa I was able to make for under 4 bucks. After 7 at night buy 1 get 1 free sushi blows my mind lol. You'll love it here. I stopped going to target and picknsave if you shop here. 😂

This is my new go-to for most groceries. They have an outstanding variety of fresh produce and some of the best prices on produce compared to other stores. The staff is top-notch; professional, friendly and efficient. The store is always impeccably clean, stocked and well-organized. You won't have to wait long to get checked out. They have an enormous bakery as well as a hearty variety of to-go options; great for lunch when you are in a hurry. There are a number of brands and imported items you can find here that you won't find anywhere else. I do wish that they would have more organic options; particularly in the dairy section as the options they do have are very limited and also expensive, comparatively. Their isle for paper goods, cleaning products, etc. is quite limited. It would be nice if they had a few more items handy such as pet food, litter among other things but overall this is still a 5 star establishment.

Overall the store itself as a whole is fantastic however the people in your deli department are your weakest link. Maybe you need to rethink how your deli meats are presented. So far one out of four times the person helping me would cut the wrong meat. Maybe put labels on the other side so they know what they are grabbing but for crying out loud if I point to something, outside of grabbing it myself and handing it to them , there is not much more I can do to ensure that I get the product I asked for.

OH MY GOD! I love this place. If you want authentic Mexican fare this is the place to be. I had for the first time Chile Cheese Relleno and it was slightly crispy chewy fried goodness. Everyone was friendly and considerate. And look at my cake. So worth it! So come to Cermak Fresh Market. You will love every minute here. By the way if you need electric wheelchair access they have them here.

Love the clean store, friendly staff, produce selection, etc, BUT you have to pay attention to the prices at checkout. They're constantly (almost every trip) overcharging me! Sale prices don't always ring up correctly. They sometimes have an attitude when I ask them to correct the price.

7/2/22- The Fresh OJ is really good at the moment. $8.99/64oz (32oz and 16oz available) So much great produce, aisles and signage are small. Competitive pricing and inventory that fits a broad demographic (e.g. plenty of veg/vegan options, many types of peanut butter).

I was rather disappointed visiting this store. It was very neat and clean and seemed to have a large selection of produce and Mexican foods, even a pretty good selection of various other ethnic foods, but the staff looked annoyed when I went to ask if they carried what I was looking for. Also the cashier was extremely bored and hardly acknowledged me at all. I will probably go back here when I'm looking for specialty European foods because they did have a lot of things not carried at other grocery stores in my neighborhood. But I probably won't drive out of my way otherwise.

Love it here... Shop here all the time. I have had to return Lamb for going bad before the expiration date, but they let me trade it in. Wish they had meat & cheese samples like the Cermak on Miller Parkway. Love the Boars Head products they carry

Nice selection of produce, I wish there was reduced sale items though. Grocery selection is very good, more extensive than El Ray. A good many high quality items like grass-fed dairy and artisan meat. They also have hot food and delicious tamales. The staff is still learning though and often ring up produce incorrect, be sure to watch the prices.

The store is always very clean and well organized. The produce department has a wonderful selection of fruits & vegetables. They have many items that aren't available in other stores & it is great to try new things. There is also an extensive selection of fresh seafood, meat, poultry etc. Try the kabobs. They have beautiful ones prepared for cooking year round. It is also a great place to grab lunch or a salad from the well stocked salad bar.

One of our favorite places to shop! Great deals on produce and meats. They have a nice selection of Hispanic products and healthy foods. I do think they cater way too much to vegans. But I love the selection of gourmet products and cheeses. They also sell beer and wine.

Fresh and rare fruits can be found there, most of the Mediterranean vegetables can be purchased from there with a very reasonable price. Clean store, but it needs an extra step in training staff to give customers a smile.

Great fresh veggies. Good quality and reasonably priced. Good deli selection, decent prices. The fresh bakery items aren't available when the store opens but are good. The bagels are some of the best in Milwaukee and make up for the lack of variety. Dairy is really high priced. Dry goods aren't on sale very often. There is a good selection of imported goods. We go whenever we need veggies, meat, or deli. Also a great location since we drive on 1st St daily. The employees are nice and helpful.

I've shopped here for about 2 weeks now. I buy a lot of produce because i do cook from scatch. The Produce is fresh and priced in a reasonable to bargain range. Very good selection of seafood. Meats are fresh. They have a wide selection of chicken legs and thighs marinated for a variety of tastes. Packaged and priced for families. I would recommend give them a chance.

Finally, a decent grocery store in this area! Living downtown, I have frequented this store on many occasions and they consistently offer a wide selection of fresh produce, meat, deli and bakery items at a reasonable price. In addition to an incredible variety of hard-to-find imported items for your next gourmet meal, they have a nice selection of wines. The freshly prepared sushi as well as mexican favorites can be purchased and enjoyed at their eatery. The employees are always pleasant and helpful.

I was excited to find out Cermak opened a location close to downtown so that I wouldn't have to trek out to West Allis anymore. Unfortunately, while the produce selection is superb just like at their West Allis location, they're seriously lacking a lot of the unique international items that they have over at that store. Not only that, but I was disappointed to see that they've really toned down the multicultural vibe completely...instead of there being whole aisles devoted to Greek, Indian, Eastern European etc. they have a small random sample of those items that are placed according to product type. I also noticed what items they did have that are also at the West Allis location were more expensive, which I thought was kind of ridiculous. If you're here just for Mexican foods then great, you'll probably have no problem finding that. But that in and of itself is not unique, you can now find many of those things at a lot of grocery stores. What made Cermak unique was that it had food items from countries you can't normally find in an American store. For immigrants and their children that's a god-send. Sadly, not at this location.

I like a lot of things about Cermak. Currently I shop at Cermak on S. 1st St in Milwaukee. There is also a Cermak store on S. 43rd St just south of Greenfield Ave. Both stores are good. They have great deals on fresh produce, plus very good deals on meats. They also have a lot of ethnic foods. I like to buy their Guacamole and their Salsa, & their bakery items are delicious. I strongly suggest you go to Cermak food store. Then YOU can write the review of Cermak. It's worth it to check out their stores.

Great grocery store. Tons of awesome fresh produce at great prices! They also offer all kinds of produce normal grocery stores don't carry like jicama, cactus, chayote, etc. They also have aisles of all kinds of ethnic foods that can't be found elsewhere. The deli has all kinds of Boars Head meats plus tons of other options. I like the variety they offer and that I can try new things.

Great prices on produce and everything tastes delicious! Their prices are much cheaper than Pick n Save, Metro Market, and Whole Foods. Trader Joe's is known for having cheap prices, but Cermak might be even lower for the same produce. However, I'm not sure how much of the produce at Cermak is organic. Still worth a visit!

This location is clean, bright, and new, and always freezing cold. Their selection of produce is unparalleled, but there are a smaller number of convenience food items (bagged salad, shredded cabbagge) than at a typical grocery store. Also, prices are a bit higher on everyday items here, so I don't generally do my whole shop at just this store.

Impressive produce selection, but it bothers me more than it should that they store the avocados cold. The prices are all over the place- some pretty good deals, and then milk for the super high price of $3.49/ half gallon. Nearly every time I've asked employees about anything, they know nothing and have no interest in finding an answer. So, the stars I've given really are just because there are some things sold here ( tofu, tahini, soy milk for example) that I can't get at any other store in the area. Everything else about Cermak I find to be barely adequate :(

There is a language barrier here so sometimes it takes a bit to find help. Google translate helps. It's a Asian neighborhood too and they didn't have egg roll wrappers. Ended up with spring roll wrappers.They do have a good selection of produce and meat. The bakery is awesome.

Cermak Fresh Market is conveniently located in a neighborhood that needed a grocery store. They offer good quality and well-priced options, with pleasant customer service. Cermak carries a lot of nice specialty items that would be hard to find at a Pick ‘n Save, including an excellent variety of Hispanic and Asian foods. I especially enjoy their produce selection – everything is organized well, and the produce is fresh and often a little cheaper than other grocery stores in Milwaukee. The seafood and meat selection is also very nice and well-priced. I will say the only thing I was disappointed in was the area with bagged salads and lettuces – this was very small, and the produce didn’t look necessarily very perky. It was also a little more expensive than other grocery stores. I would say as a general rule, Cermak’s fresh foods are less expensive than other places, and their processed/shelf foods are a little more expensive.

Shopped here today for the second time, but this time I shopped for a week worth of dinners. I was amazed by the wide variety of produce and the pricing was not bad. I would say the bakery area was the main attraction for me. I like this store.

Best produce. Some of the people working behind the meat counter don't speak any English. I tried to ask if the wings were spicy and he said 1 pound and I asked again and was handed a pound. I tolerate spice pretty well but these were so spicy I couldn't eat them. sometimes the cashiers couldn't care if you lived or died.

Great place to shop. Good prices and they have anything you're looking for. The only thing is when I ask for help no one I ask could speak English so it took me a while to find someone who understood what I was saying, I got very annoyed that hardly no one could speak English. But other than that it's a great place to shop. And it's huge, but very clean. I recommend this place but if you have questions hopefully you can speak Spanish.

I started shopping at cermak last year in spring and it's been my go to grocery store. at the time it was the closest one to me so it was an easy favorite. I've recently moved to shorewood right next to the metro market and still drive to this store. No one can beat their produce or meat prices. Would be a five star but I feel as if the quality has slipped recently and I've had meat go bad quite a bit before its sell by date. Highly recommend for meats and produce as well as cheese and bagged spices. Their produce and processed food runs high on the other hand but the meat and produce sales and quality outweigh the processed goods. I've found this one to be much quieter and better proce wise than the Miller park way cermak and I hope to continue to recommend cermak to my friends who cook commonly.

This new cermak location has great fresh food. Deli, bakery, meat, cheese, fruit and veggies. The prices can vary from competitive with other local grocery stores to overpriced. For example, prepackaged lunchmeat is about $1-2 more a package than pick n save. But tonight I was able to pick up at the deli ready made to go and hot chile rellano and Greek pitas with spinach and cheese for under@ $3.50 each piece, not per lb. The prepped, fresh food is good and priced ok, the prices for most other things are a little more than I care to pay.
