The staff are super nice. My only wish is that items in the produce area have better price notices. I purchased 4 potatoes from the individual bin for $6.49 - I could have purchased a bag for cheaper (I didn't see the price per pound anywhere and thought they wouldn't be that much). Same with the Ginger root that cost me $2.88 for one small piece as I didn't see any price notices (I usually pay 99 cents a pound, but it was $5.99 a pound). I will either seek out someone who can disclose the price or just not buy.

Stopped here for the first time and it was a pleasant experience. Store very clean compared to a lot of places in the south end of town. Cashier awesome, friendly. Found what I intended to be with no issues. Will visit many more times.

This value market is good has variety of options and some good prices on fresh produce, spices, meats but it really depends on what you are there for.

This was only our second time here. We couldn't wait to get back. The food is terrific. Libby our waitress is a great server. Don't miss out on the opportunity to eat at the Chicken house.

People are great. But it has a funny smell and not in a good way. Produce doesn't have alot of selection. They do have a ton of apples tho. They have a great selection of different drinks which I love. Not the same old coke, Pepsi, apple, and orange juices over all not a bad place just need to switch the apples for something better and get rid of the smell lol. Either way I will still shop there cause the people are so nice

Went on on thursday evening may 5, 2022. They had no baskets in the store or in the parking lot. Few customers had them in the store! Had to carry a large bag of litter out by hand! Need to get more carts for customers

Fell in love. Good prices. I can into the Valu Market store in Iroquois Manor at 7 pm about two weeks ago, and I had a forty five minute conversation with a woman about different types of apples. She was breathtaking. I got her phone number before we parted ways to finally do our individual shopping, and I am now in a stable relationship, AND I got all my necessary groceries at a reasonable price. Thank you Valu Market.

Very pricey, cashier was friendly and helpful. Actually bagged my groceries correctly without me telling him to. Frozen together fridge together. Thanks cashier...much appreciated. A gallon of milk was $2.00 higher than Kroger.

Amazing the only grocery store I've ever been able to find whole nutmeg. They are clean and kind. They also have a wide range of food and spices for our brothers and sisters of other cultures and or have a foodie pallet. Overall great World Food Store.

I stop here occasionally for one or two items and it's usually out of convenience only! It's a bit too pricey for some items. I've had varying experiences with this place. I've been watched by staff for being selective in the produce department and have witnessed some of the migrant patrons being treated differently. Migrant customers are your biggest supporters. Gain some patience and Learn to treat people better!

Really I just prefer Valu to big groceries. I try to do most of my shopping there. Also they have a great deli. I highly recommend the cubano and the guava cake. Good international selection and a fine beer cave. Glad they're in my neighborhood.

I just experienced really excellent service at this store, and it made me realize that is what I typically find here. The staff here are so kind and patient when someone has a question or needs help checking out, and if there is an issue like someone not understanding which items are WIC approved, they take the time to help figure it out respectfully and politely for both the customer with the issue, and work quickly to help the other customers waiting. The staff working at 10:30 AM this Saturday morning were all really good at customer service- I will keep coming back here because I like to support a business that has such a positive effect on the neighborhood. Glad you guys are here!

Went there because I heard they made a good cubano.... It was a great Cuban sandwich... Friendly staff and not shy at all about how good that sandwich was. They didn't disappoint. I will be back for sure.

I probably only ever been in there three times but I will be going back there deli lunch meat is fabulousand I do not like store-bought potato salad but they get a ready-made potato salad that's not bad at all How did anybody know we werethere because this was on my phone before I even got home nobody knew where I was going I normally don't shop you got it it's a little creepy

Great store. Had everything I needed but Half and Half cream. Deli Dept--friendly. Cashier--friendly. Sale on celery and green beans, which I needed. Produce that I bought looked good.

I like this store for the most part. They have a lot of diverse foods, as they serve a pretty diverse area. Down sides - sometimes they could have another line open for checkout and the frozen foods are a little over priced and there isn't as much of those to choose from as you would find at Kroger's or Walmart.

Nice neighborhood grocery. They have a good variety of ethnic foods and the prices are very good. You may not find as many of the major brands you're used to, but if you have an open mind, they more than make up for it.

They have so many types of food from around the world. Prices are ok and the service is good. I purchased puertrican food you can't find in our grocery store. It's a long drive but it's a really good place to shop.

Valu Market is a great hidden gym in the south end. They carry a fantastic selection of various kinds of ethnic food. From Latin American and Cuban, to Middle Eastern, to Asian, the variety a second to none. If you are looking for a full service store with every possible American item, this may not be the place for you. If you're looking for an adventure in cooking and eating, value market has you covered!

His-Love Saved-Me

I love the variety of fruits & vegetables i get here! I eat alot of food that's imported like yuka, green bananas, culantro & pataste & the selection is always fresh & abundant. The only problem is the customer service. Many times I've needed to send money thru western union or pay a bill & they have 2 registers going, one person at the cust service desk while when theres 8, 9 or 15 ppl in each line but have 10 employees walking around talking, on their phones or outside playing & smoking including managers. I do not understand how they can walk up front & lend no assistance to their workers & walk off leaving all these customers unattended, waiting in line at times, over 30 minutes. I find that completely unprofessional and rude

This Market has a reasonable selection. Also probably owing to the fact of my International neighbors, they do have some products that you don't find as readily another groceries. For example Bosnian coffee.

This is one of my favorite places,I always enjoyed going into smaller,neighborhood grocery stores to see what they carry,unique to that particular location,this one does not disappoint,from entering the store with the floors swept and mopped,and the employees are all busy,but not to busy to say"good morning",all the departments are full and clean and they have excellent cashier's who are always waiting at the end of the check lane waiting to serve you.
