My dad used to shop here years ago when I was a kid and I never really thought twice about it. I have recently started shopping here in the past couple months and recommend anyone to come here. The shelf’s are typically stocked. The employees are nice and helpful. Only issue I’ve had with Meijer is the meat. I get my meat elsewhere but overall it’s great.

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with Meijer? This store has quite literally changed my life. I remember the first time I walked into Meijer, I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options. The aisles seemed to stretch on forever, each one filled with an endless array of products. It was like a treasure trove of possibility. But as I wandered through the store, I began to realize that Meijer wasn't just any ordinary store. No, it was a veritable wonderland of delights. I was amazed by the fresh produce section, with its crisp, colorful fruits and vegetables. The bakery section was a dream come true, with rows upon rows of freshly baked breads and pastries. And the deli? Let's just say that I have never tasted such heavenly meats and cheeses. But it wasn't just the food that drew me in. Meijer has everything you could possibly need, from clothing and home goods to electronics and toys. The prices are always reasonable, and the customer service is top-notch. In short, Meijer is a true gem. I can't imagine my life without it, and I am forever grateful to have such a wonderful store in my community. If you haven't yet visited Meijer, do yourself a favor and go now. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

If this meijer doesn’t have the best clearance section I’ve ever seen … parking for tractors (maybe not trailers unless you park on the side of the store). A great produce & deli section. Lots of stocked items & great sales & did I say clearance?!? I’ll absolutely return to this store if I deliver in the area again.

They are beginning to have too many empty shelves and products not in stock. Wanted dei fratelli tomato sauce and non to be found on the shelf. Need distilled water and they were empty!

Great place for produce. Awesome selection. I don’t normally shop this store, but the cashier’s were very good. I had chosen a water to go from the cooler and it was not very cold. The cashier noted that and hot me a colder one. That was so nice of her!

I love the variety of options here. There is always plenty of produce, international options and it's typically quite clean. You can usually find good sales on popular items as well. Easy to park and get in and out with self checkout.

This is best Meijer in Louisville! The employees go above and beyond to help me with shop and scan coupons. The inventory is excellent and food is fresh. I love this store and will drive from st. Matthews to shop. Highly recommend!

The 1 checkout lane that was open, for more than 20 items, had a very pleasant cashier, Jenni. Unfortunately, there was 5 of us waiting in line with full carts. Why should a customer be "punished" for buying more items? All of the self-scan-up-to-20-items registers were open.

I am a late shopper, and enjoy . Meijers hours of 12 midnight. You pay a higher price in groceries than others, except for Cereals. On average prices are approx $2.00 higher on majority of items. Employees are friendly and enjoy to talk with. When they are ready to close, they only announce at 11:30 and 11:45, then 11:55 and last call is store now closed. Walmart announces every 3-5 minutes, until you can no longer remember what you need to finish.

I rarely, if ever, shop at Meijer. I live between 2 different locations and neither is convenient for me. However, with the recent formula shortages, I had bought some formula at Meijer. It was the only place I could find it. My new baby ended up able to go back to breastfeeding so I had some unopened formula to return. Naturally in the fog of having a newborn the receipts were thrown out. The employee at customer service went above and beyond to return them. I was so impressed with the customer service and I got some groceries while we were there and loved the produce and meat departments. There was also a great selection of baby and kids clothing.

I like this Meijers! The produce is usually fresh and well stocked. The store is clean and aisles are wide for shopping. The greeters are friendly and we like the self checkout. I can't always find an associate to help but other that we like to shop here.

My wife and I are both seniors and only shop at the best places for us. Meijer is one of those places. We shop at the Meijer on Hurstbourne. It is close to home, clean shopping areas, carries all the name brands, fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. Large parking lot that is clean and shopping carts kept out of driving lanes. Every employee seems to enjoy their jobs because I've never talked to anyone that didn't smile back at me and talk politely.

Meijer has always been a go-to but recently with the shift to online I feel they have been behind. Customer experience online should be priority in 2022. In-store experience is great, most of the staff is friendly and helpful.

Even though I work at Walmart and I like my Walmart job, but the Meijer store there looks wonderful and it makes me feel like I'm at home there more than anywhere else tbh. And despite that they don't have EVERYTHING I want, but it is the best store I've ever shopped at and I'm gonna come back there whenever I shop for groceries and such!!

Meijer pharmacy was fantastic. FRIENDLY. MEDS READY Used my GOODRX COUPON. SAVED MONEY. I hadn't been to a Meijer in a long time. Even though it means I need to come futher... I will be coming back! MEIJERS STORE : the store was CLEAN with wide aisles. The layout felt more like going to a Macy"s.. The displays gave it an UP SCALE LOOK. PRICES very comparable to Kroger Target or Wal-Mart . Fruits and veggies looked fresh. I was impressed also with the meat department still using BUTCHERS. THOUGH I DIDN'T BUY ANY MEAT that day. Over the passed few years I GENERALLY HAD STOPPED BUYING MEAT AT KROGERS because it was tough tastless and colorless. ( I GREW UP IN A SUPERMARKET... this woman knows her meat.) MEIJERS meat products looked bright red. Choice cuts. Chicken plump.Nice marbling. Again they have MEAT CUTTERS. I AM A CLEAN FREAK. MEIJERS IS DEFINITELY CLEANER than any store I recently been into. No fishy smell or lack luster scraps but robust well presented and beautiful meat products.

I visit this location quite often. Since Kroger started closing at 10:00 and Walmart at 11:00 a lot of times I need something late at least they stay open till midnight and I can usually count on finding what I need. I do realize that all places are having problems stocking their shelves but Meijer for the most part stays fairly well stocked. My only complaint is they need to work on their canned cat food because they never have any hardly at all. Some of the pet supplies are scarce or they have none at all. Other than that as far as having what I need I can usually trust that they have it. It's easier to get in and out of Meijer especially at checkout. The only real complaint I have about checking out is late at night before close they usually only have u-scan open and if I'm picking up a lot of items that is very inconvenient. They don't have the best prices they are a little pricey on a lot of their items but the convenience and the store layout are very comfortable

This is my new go-to grocery/household item store. I'd never set foot in a Meijer before moving here, but it's way better than Walmart, Kroger or Fred Meyer combined :) And their late-night hours are perfect for my usually all-day work schedule.

This facility has several devices along the back and side walls that apparently stay extremely cool, even in hot weather. This allows them to store and sell various foods without them spoiling. I really appreciate this innovation

Many thanks for exemplary customer service to Glenn who assisted me in locating a box that would fit the baby foods I purchased at Meijer for my daughter in California as the shelves are all empty. Glenn helped me pack the box and tape it up to secure it and then I went to the USPS counter in Meijer where Debhora helped me mail the box. From entering the store being greeted by that big beautiful smile from Mr. John to the manager I spoke to on my way out, your team of professionals are the best I have experienced in Louisville since moving here four months ago. I gave 4 stars for 2 reasons...1) 5 stars would indicate there is no room for improvement and 2) because I have only been in this store a couple of times looking for just a few objects. I can say my visits have been very rewarding. I have found what I was needing at reasonable prices. I went to this store to find things I had not been able to find in Kroger or Walmart. Love this place for the simple fact that it's the only business that we are aware of now, in our area, that allows for nighttime or after hours shopping. Myself & my significant other sometimes struggle with severe PTSD & anxiety disorders; this can sometimes mean we're faced with circumstances that become the catalyst of debilitating panic attacks. This has become far worse since the onset of the pandemic, as most thriving businesses were forced to deal with closings or a multitude of changes relating to the norm of operations i.e. time cuts & odd hours, customers/staff being isolated to their homes or locked down entirely, rapidly changing policies/codes of conduct had to be altered to meet the demands of their immediate population or else they wouldn't have maintained any level of business like communication and/or operations whatsoever. Meijer is still running solo for the only late night closing times at a few locations here in the city. That being said, I think their products are far too overpriced, great quality from groceries to clothing to housewares or garden supplies, they indeed have a little of everything and I love the selection. All their products are top tier and truly I prefer the options that Meijer offers over anywhere I could think of for this type of store, however, were it not for them being the only alternative for late night shopping, I wouldn't ever choose this place because they are far outdone by other, similar businesses with far more attractive qualities in regard to what brands & services are offered, the quality of those goods, and even in that they rarely offer sales that can even level the playing field to their competition. Wal-Mart, Target, Big Lots, T. J. Max, Marshall's, Roses, & even Ollie's are killing the market with loads of options that are far more up to par.

I appreciate the wide variety of groceries I can buy here at good prices, and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. BUT, checkout is always a nightmare. On average two, perhaps three of the store's endless array of checklanes is actually open, and everybody in line is buying enough food and gear to feed a clothe a company of Marines for months, meaning you can easily spend a half hour in line. That leaves the self-checkout lanes, whose machines are so cantankerous and error-prone that I usually can't get through six items before they throw a fit and I have to wait for the poor overworked attendant to come over and clear it. Meijer does so well on so many of the hard things, I just don't understand why they fail so utterly at checkout, which should be simple. Bottom line, I still recommend the place, but plan to be here a while. Only worth it for big stock up runs.

I have always enjoyed shopping here and this location was the first Meijer I shopped at when I was a kid. Always very clean and the associates are friendly here. Similar layout to other Meijer so it should be very familiar. I enjoy shopping here and will continue to do so anytime I'm in the area! Also, there are lots of things nearby, such as Culvers. Do a little shopping and top it off with my favourite burger in town and that is a win!

You need to have more cashier's open. The lines are too long , takes longer when you have a problem doing it yourself takes too long if you need help, shortage of help is everywhere. I don't know why or how we have people that does not want too work. I know that is not your problem.

It's reminds me of a not so bougie super Target. It's where you go when you need something from Walmart, but would rather deal with helpful staff and registers that are open. They have huge vitamin section. July 2022 Like so many super-markets affected by the pandemic, there are not too many open registers. Also, they are not open 24hrs.

Very nice deli department and very helpful deli staff. The store was clean as was the parking lot. We were able to find the few things that we were there for except there were no canned lima beans. My husband had picked up the wrong drink for me by mistake and the cashier had the young man who had been bagging our things to stop and go get the right drink for me. They both did this so kindly with smiles and words of Happy Thanksgiving as our payment was finished. What these two very kind people didn't know was that the drink was important because my sugar was low and i had started to shake so i needed to get some sugar in me quickly. Thanks to the staff i was able to enjoy the rest of my evening. Happy Thanksgiving.

The pharmacy is...well I'll never go there again! Constantly screwing up, filling partial prescriptions without being able to fill completely and without consent. This store is clean and usually well-stocked with the things I need. I especially like their app where I can choose coupons digitally - no cutting and carrying paper coupons if I don't want to. I don't like how many paper coupons print out after I pay. That seems to defeat the efficiency of the app.

A good late night trip..Couldn't find the pens I was looking for, but asked 2 or 3 workers who were all more than happy to try to help. I hated that they now close at midnight. I used to love late night shopping when they were 24 hours and most people were n bed. But all and all had a good time closing them down.

Meijer's is absolutely lovely! The costumers are very nice as well and are extremely helpful. All carts are pre-sanitized and sanitizer is always available and ready for use. The store is massive and has benches for when you get tired and need a rest. The food is always fresh and cold, there is a very wide selection of clothes for men, women, and children. There is a clean food court where you can rest, eat, drink, and just relax. The last time I was there, I was a baby, but now, it's even more amazing to me as an autistic adult. The only problem I have is the prices for certain things. The prices are kinda high but the quality of every item is absolutely worth it. So when you decide to shop here, bring more money then you think you need.

INSTACART Shop and Delivery in a Full Time Shopper Role. This particular visit was a desired pick and deliver. The Hurstbourne Meijer is an experience that includes always clean, organized, and well stocked and staffed. Items were easily found and ample stock was on the shelves. Check out was quick. I was on my way minutes ahead of the Shopper app's "50 meter dash" countdown timer blinking its angry, red colored, wrist tapping, c'mon hurry it up attitude of disappointment, then my attitude of "I take my time for my customer to get what they pay for and you aren't my H.S. basketball coach, English teacher, my parents or ex-wife" (alright.... ex-wiveS) disposition appeared... I always try to choose Meijer batches. I enjoy visiting all the Meijer stores in The 'Ville. 5 STARS UPDATE: 4/4/2022 TUESDAY APPROXIMATELY 2200 HOURS. The Hurstbourne Location was not crowded, then around 2330 when it seemed to be picking up in a peculiar collection of individuals gathering around no matter where I tried to casually peruse elsewhere in the store. In my meandering, it seemed that no matter the path was chosen, and even when the moment appeared, eventually surrounded by unfamiliarity of my exact location and I was encouraged to consult my survival expertise, and even consult the most honed, instinctual known skills rather than my usual learned and instructed, well practiced type. Somehow, I found myself in my vehicle, purchase in tow. I vividly recalled a sharp, etched memory of a very nice, dream type state with a very nice lady I had discussed pleasantries with, afront my conscience recollection had labelled "cashier". Cashier? Now where in the instinctual part of survival mode, has this memory lost instinctual and why would it replace that "instinctual" with "desired existence"? Well, believe you me, I fired up my RDX, and beat a hasty exit rather than my usual retreat thanks to that memory of the nice lady "cashier" and made my home safely. ****OVERALL, a Meijer experience is ALWAYS one of my most satisfied, relaxed experiences. It is most likely the desired experience of any I experience on most days. MEIJER, has claimed the #1 spot in choice for ANY Big Box store in The 'VILLE. 5 stars

Very nice store! Customer service is always great. Friendly associates will help you find anything that you need. Restrooms are usually very clean, and checked often for cleanliness. The people that greet you at the doors have always been very polite, welcoming, and helpful.

This Meijer is pretty great. They are open late and always accept Samsung mobile pay unlike Walmart. The bakery closes at 8 so there's no way to buy a ready made cake in the display after then. The return policy is pretty good since they don't require a receipt I don't think. However, it's even easier if people use their rewards phone number every time they make a purchase because then every purchase is saved into a database that shows a purchase even if you lost/ didn't take a receipt for the purchase. They've been out of stock of a few things like everywhere else since no one wants to go to work if they have the option to have free money. So that's not their fault. Overall no current issues with this Meijer.

This store has recently remodeled and it looks great. They have a great selection of items to purchase and I usually don't have to wait in long lines to pay. Their deli area sells rotisserie chickens that are delicious and they guarantee that they will have them between 4-7pm everyday or they give you a rain check for a free one. Awesome!

Good grocery selection, but watch out for water on floor around some cases. The self check out for over 12 items is not good. It is basically a regular check out belt without a cashier or bagging carousel so all your groceries pile up at the end waiting to be bagged after you pay. Then the next over 12 item customer starts checking & their items come down the belt before you can get all yours bagged. There is supposed to be a divider to use, but this doesn't always work.

I am not a Meijer customer. I shopped there today because Meijer carries an OTC prescribed for me. (The grocery store where I shop doesn't carry it.) I was impressed and thankful that Meijer associates clean the bascarts with a spray disinfectant. Most stores are now requiring customers to clean their own with wipes, which are inadequate for the basket section of the bascart.

Usually the fresh vegetables are great. This is the very best place to find fresh herbs at reasonable prices. And unusual fruits and veggies are often available for the cook who is adventurous. The fresh meat counter is great too and the butchers are very helpful. Packaged products....this is often the place to go for had to find ingredients.

Been very disappointed lately in Meijer. For the last four weeks, when I have shop in the store, I come out with not being able to get everything I went in for. I have been told a couple of time that Meijer does not carry the items any longer. This is my favorite store to visit when there's only one or two things to buy. I know where it is and can find it easily. This is not the store I go to for my weekly grocery trip. I don't like having to trek from one side of the store for groceries and then push my full cart all the way across the store for allergy or pain meds. Also, my last two trips found long lines at self check-out and even deeper lines at the too few manned check-out lanes.

The folks who work there normally try their best but I don't think they get much corporate support. Produce is always rotten. Outdated products are left on shelves. Don't ever buy meat there - you're taking your life into your own hands. Recent renovations means at least the roof doesn't leak anymore but that's about all. Good hypermarket, often crowded. Good processed meats - I buy Koegel hot dogs and Sanders Hot Fudge here. Good beer selection and a convenient little liquor store out front. Check out takes too long - scanners often require assistance from store personnel which can be a very frustrating experience when you are in a hurry and the store staff are not paying attention.

Always liked Meijers. Only complaint I have with the Hurstbourne store is the customer service in garden center. Last summer we went there to get things for our fall planting. The cashier was in her cellphone the entire time. She never even acknowledged us. We had at least 400 dollars of stuff on a cart and needed to use restroom. I asked her if she could watch the cart while we went inside store to use restroom. She said no..and went further to say..if we left the cart she would put it all back. She proceeded to argue about it in a very nasty way. We walked away..and went to Meijers on Preston.

I like Meijer's produce section. All their fruits and vegetables look so fresh. The 3 star rating is due to not having enough check out lanes open operated by workers. There are more self-service lanes open. I prefer checkout service and don't feel I should have to wait longer for it.

Meijer is a box store carrying both dry goods and food. Their selection is wide with many common items and items you wouldn't normally think of. They carry a full line of bed needs including allergy and pest prevention encasements. Their furniture covers large and small pieces, folding tables and heavy furniture tables. Chairs of many kinds including light, portable stools as well as bar stools. They have clothes to fit the family. And on the other side of the store, a large grocery section. Many International foods are there, including (I was surprised!) Jammie Dodgers English Biscuits (cookies). Produce, unfortunately does not come up to the standard I've come to expect from Kroger. But they do have Corelle dishes including open stock of unexpected patterns including my favorite, the Iris plates. This store has much more, impossible to list here.

I live out of town now and hadn't visited Meijers in 3+ years. Visited recently very late at night with my child and as always the store is awesome!! Variety of clearance merchandise, my daughter is a "slimer" and we were able to find activator here that wasn't sold anywhere else. Same with Ms Meyers cleaning products, even found Ms Meyers candles here!! Scones are sold fresh, something i can't find at any big chain grocers. Best muffins and the fruit is of better quality. Good sales as well.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟five stars all the way!!

Their selection in all departments is pretty good and definitely comparable to other major retailers. What makes meijer stick out in my mind though is the greeters. There is one reason I always come back and it's because of how friendly the greeters are.

This is a super store like Walmart but it's actually better. It's a nice clean store and they offer some items you can't find at other supermarkets. The prices are competive and there are lots of check out lanes. Also plenty of self pay registers. Do yourself a favor and shop here once. You will want to go back.

Good shopping experience. The manager and staff were helpful each time I needed help. The manager held some Halloween items in her office for me for part of the day and didn't give me any sneers about it. The salesperson in women's helped me get a stuck zipper unstuck on a coat I was wanting to purchase; as I thought she looked most reliable to help and she was in fact able to get it unstuck. The bakery department is always friendly and accommodating although they don't have the Chocolate Wave cake anymore which was phenomenally delicious, which tasted like King Dons or Ho Hos. I am going to try the Chocolate Tuxedo cake instead. The only thing about Meijer is the prices are a little more expensive but you are paying for a good selection and a clean store. As with any store you just have to watch your prices. The Mperks is a good program but only works on some credit card readers, like the self check out doesn't give you the Mperks like a cashier's register. I shop several different stores for groceries so if something is too expensive I pass until I go to another store.

I love shopping here. I do most of my grocery shopping at Aldi but everything else I get from Meijer except electronics. We got a sound bar from here about 3 months and it's already having issues. The box looked like it had been opened and retaped when wet got it (as if it had been returned) but I didn't think Meijer would put something defective back in the shelf. My fault for buying something that was in a messed up box. Maybe Meijer didn't know it was defective but I still avoid the electronics department. Everything else is great.

Last visit was shaky..i went twice for an item listed in the weekly sales ad. still not there..getting a rain check wasn't easy..had to go back and show the stocker were it was..in her defense they had moved it and I had a hard time finding it both days..if you list something in a weekly ad please have it or have slips out for rain checks, had to hit service desk twice because they didn't have a Price or number.

We always make a "Meijer run" when we are in Louisville since there are no Meijer stores in Connecticut. We were accustomed to shopping at Meijer at least once a week when we lived in Indiana. Great store-brand products, especially baked goods. Be sure to check the end caps for clearance bargains.

Its better than walmart, and they care more automated checkout then hiring real people. Keep in mind that automated check is not for our convenience, but rather to save Meijer more money. They will not be pushing the extra saving to us, or thier employees who deserve it, also many of thier employees do not speak english. With all that being said thier aisles are stocked, and all of the employees will help you even the non english speaking ones. Meijer if you are reading this if you want five stars out of me reduce your automated check outs, or appear to staff the normal checkouts over your automated ones. Get more englush speaking americans would be the other thing you could do.
