I shopped here before and out of all the grocery items to choose from the Rollo ice cream and KitKat ice cream had me coming back. Not Kroger's but you can definitely feed your family with some change to spare maybe.

Convenient, you can get in and out fairly quick. The employees don't care, the customers are rude, and the produce always looks fresh. I run in when I'm in a good mood and feel like I have a LOT of patience.

Love the location, it's very convenient to stop at on my way home. The store is always in disarray, the employees are always unboxing items in the middle of the walk ways. I think that maybe they should dedicate one day or early morning to unloading and putting items up because it doesn't matter what day I come on it always like that. Besides that it's a nice place to shop.

The new management is turning this store in a really great direction. I am liking it more and more every time I visit. It is looking sharp and cleaner than it was before. The employees seem to be taking more pride as well. This store has made a complete turn around from 7 months ago. It still has its faults but it's an old dingy building so they are doing GREAT with what they have to work with.

Love this location. Always great deals on the groceries. Love getting bags of onions, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes and cantaloupes for $1 when available. Staff is always nice and friendly even when super stressed and busy. Love the security that walks around bc of the location.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Only 3 stars because of the location's unfortunate attractiveness to panhandlers and junkies. But that's not the store's fault, and they do everything they can to keep customers from being harrassed.

So, this particular location has been around at least 14 years or so. Been going there off and on about that long as well. I like that they have a bigger grocery section than the other dollar general stores. I drive out of my way to come to this one when I can even though I live across the street from one. This one just is clean usually and I like how they don't have an uppity air about them. Food selection is what it is for this store, I mean it's not Kroger's sure, but, it is nice for the size.

This is my neighborhood store and I am a regular here. The staff are awesome and sure friendly considering they have allot if obstacles thrown their way as far as people in the area. I have seen them handle situations with patience and understanding. Always friendly eager to help met customers needs.

This store would be great if the employees would be friendlier and the bums would go away. You ask the cashier where something is and no I don't, like really wow. Then walk outside and the guy ask if I have any spare change and I say no and get cussed at, saying if I money to buy the stuff in the bags then I can spare him some money. Really I didn't know I was working to give you money.

They had everything I needed the girls are ALWAYS polite and respectful. If you can't find it they will drop everything and go find it for you. Now that's what I call a great store.

Very confident. They have taken steps to keep ppl hearty during pandemic. Only bad thing, they ALWAYS have someone standing outside the door bumming money and the homeless hang out beside and behind the building. They usually have the dumpster area trashed!!

It's not very well stocked they are always out of stuff and it's not the cleanest store either. It's super congested with random stuff by the cash registers making it hard to get through and there is always a long line to wait to get checked out. Seems like there is a lot of employees just standing around talking.

I love this store but if you are in a hurry don't stop here. I stood in line one day for 10 minutes to get my mom some cold medicine. Then someone walked up and told me and some other lady to go to lane 3 so we did, one of their employees walked up and said you all need to go to lane 4 because I am not open. The lady that was in line with me started raising hell, she said that we done stood in line for 10 minutes then we stood here another 10 minutes, and now you're telling us we have to go to another line?! The manager walked up and said that he was the one that told us to get into her line. Needless to say I put my stuff down and went to Kroger. Plus the bum's in front of the store wanting money and/or cigarettes.

The store is out of a lot of things because they haven't had a truck for weeks. People are friendly, but they let the lines get very long before opening another register, overall its a c+ in my opinion!

I am a crafty person, and I was able to find everything I need to decorate several types of trees made from clothes hangers. I always buy my laundry supplies from Dollar General as they have sales often, and I get a $5 off coupon every Saturday. The online app also helps me save money.

Kinda dirty and staff are rude. It is in the hood though, so if you adjust your expectations for that than it's 5 star. It's not dirtier and the staffs not any ruder than you would expect so I would recommend I guess.

What's Really Going on?

Difficult shopping without any carry baskets. Too many thieves carry them out loaded with goods they don't pay for. Dollar General does nothing to stop them, no security; not even a greeter at the door to cut back the theft. Still almost an okay place to shop. 😳😍 …

It's not always stocked with all its products.. it raised its prices on sodas an stuff.. I bought meat from there twice an I thru it in the trash .. so it's kinda convenient cuase it's close by. But it has a lot of different products.

This is a grocery and dollar store. The inside is clean and stocked. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because of the bums outside hollering at people. This is the old Winn Dixie, so its big and the bums were at the opposite end of the doors. If you park by the doors you won't see them, however, I try to park faraway so that's why I had to deal with that. It is the southend..
