You know you’re at a country store when a manure spreader pulls up and the farmer runs into the store (see video). For a small store, they have a great beer selection. The gas pumps are crazy-close to the building. Gas, beer/wine, lottery and assorted sundries: what else do you need?

While stopping for a coffee this morning, I went to Spear's Corner Store. I was pleasantly surprised by their perfectly curated beer selection. If you are in the area, check them out.

This is a great spot to find small items that you realize you are missing in your fridge - like umm...Oreos, or maple syrup. They also have a good selection of beverages, trinkets, VT stuff and even a bunch of dinner possibilities for those early evenings you get home and realize you have nothing to serve. Donuts and pastries on Sunday mornings and you can fill up your tank too, with gas or with coffee. Recently under new ownership.

I always love to stop by here and pick up a few things. They have an awesome selection of the things that you might need (too numerous to mention). And the staff is so friendly and helpful that I enjoyed every minute of the visit to this store. A community meeting place!
