Great little place to grab lunch and fill up your car.

Probably the best gas station and convenience store in the area. But it’s much more than that. First of all, there’s a full service deli with delicious, made-to-order salads, sandwiches, and more at reasonable prices. And after a while they tend to start treating the customers like family, as I saw when I had spent a week frantically searching for my ID, before discovering to my delight that the staff had spotted it on the floor and almost miraculously set it aside for me. In keeping with this commitment to customer service, they’ll offer you a book of matches, whereas a lot of local chains are more concerned with maybe just maybe selling a lighter at the expense of their customer’s satisfaction. All in all, O’Brien’s is a charming spot reminiscent of an old-timey Vermont general store.
