Don't expect to find much help without going and finding someone. Nothing against the employees, once you find one they are great. Just keep in mind it is in a mall with very little traffic and few employees. The skin care area was very well stocked and organized. I was able to easily find what I needed. Clearance areas were also very organized which was nice.

I like JC Penneys, but they kill me with their coupon system. You can't use a coupon on items that are clearanced. I think they need to get some coaching and development on this subject from Kohl's.

Same old Penneys. Got some good early Black Friday deals right now. Same dependable favorite jeans. I'm not happy because short tops are trending so that's all you can find. I'm overweight and not proud of it. I dont want to show my big belly to the world. Variety for the non-perfect people please!!!

I want everyone to know that I had the very best experience returning an item that didn't work out. I was trying to get the bulky box out of my car when an associate saw me from within the store. She brought out a cart to help me get the box into the store and even though I didn't have the order number, was able to take care of returning my package. That was the best service I have had anywhere. That associate deserves 5 stars 🌟 for her kindness and help!

JC Penny used to be busy at the mall. I know times have changed. It's still good quality clothes, shoes, ect but I hope they can survive the test of time.

Still a lot of sales going on.But the place is a mad house Clothing are mostly 40% off if you sign up for a JCPenney's credit card 35% more off so you can get the clothes for practically free also they have a wonderful hair salon there and lots of shoes for sale still. Lots and lots of wonderful jewelry with the sales staff just standing around begging to help you.Still can find super bargains if you just take the time to look.

Lots of sales going on right now. Watch the hours- they are not open very long. I went by after work and they were already closed. They close sine nights at 7pm some 8pm. They open at 11 am. All staff i encountered was very nice.

Great selection and good prices, especially on athletic shoes. However, it bummed me out to see their signage for certain items, which I find to be deceptive. For example, a rack with only one style of shirt had a sign labeled “$8.99”. I later realized the shirt was actually $12.99. Was it on sale or mis-marked? No, no it wasn’t. Instead, the sign actually had the words “starting at” in tiny font in front of the $8.99. What the heck?! I would be just fine buying the shirt for $12.99, but I felt so tricked that I put it back and walked right of the store immediately. I do NOT like that. They were trying to trick me! Shame on you JcPenny’s. I’ve always enjoyed shopping at your store, but I am so bothered by this.

Great place to shop online and pick up your items at. The only thing I didnt like was how there are no signs inside the store to direct u to the correct area where u pick up items ordered online. I was walking all around trying to find where I was suppose to go, an employee left his post to show me exactly where I needed to go. For anyone who needs to pick up items ordered online when u go into the store go left and around the corner to the entryway to the right once u walk in go forward to the area slightly to the left in the corner.

I wanted to order online and pick up in the store. The website showed it as unavailable, but I knew they had it because...wait for it, I was holding it in my hand! Well the very nice lady at the register took care of me and applied the "online only" discount code! I am happy with my experience today. These are the kind of customer minded employees retailers should cherish because they keep cheapskates like me coming back!

I have aways enjoyed shopping at Pennys, I just wish the web site wasn't so glitchy. I haven't been shopping inside anywhere much, but would have bought more online several times but it seemed to not work for me.

They're in such trouble that they are keeping their prices great. The clothes are still much better quality than WalMart or similar. And at least this JCP has always great staff. Today they were helpful with some measurements for my kids and had a couple of employees were helpful finding things and even the young lady at checkout was friendly and appeared genuinely interested in making our experience today a great one.

They had the items I was looking for..good selection for both. The employees that I did see were warm and very helpful. HOWEVER, I had to search high and low for an employee, not to mention a check out desk. And it was unmanned!! Last winter I went to the children's Dept and the check out line was incredibly long with a single cashier. It feels as though they are choosing to totally understaff their stores!

Styles are really different then what they use to be and find it hard to find something comfy here in the store. It's usually one of the last store I go into if I go in at all. Just hard to find something I like with a price I am willing to pay.

I really appreciate the return policy here. We ordered shoes online and my son decided he didn't like them. He used the box to play a game with his siblings and it was destroyed. Because the shoes were still in perfect condition and unworn, they still took them back.

I just go here for Sephora. I am not spendin on them clothes. Sephora is straight. My makeup hittin 40 bucks though. Fenty Savage on them foundation prices but I paid it cause it's one of the only foundation's that's full coverage and comes the closest to my skin tone. I love it! Nars is pretty awesome as well.

I was incredibly frustrated to learn that even though I was told an order would be held for me after I lost transportation due to a car accident, two days later, the order was canceled. It was already frustrating enough that the store didn't have what I needed in stock and although they help me place an order online it was delivered to the store for pickup instead of to my house. When I finally got a ride to the store, I was stuck waiting only to learn that they cancelled the order and issued a refund.

My first trip to Penny's in like 20 years. The store was pretty shabby, not well staffed, not well stocked. It was difficult to find what I was looking for, so much disarray. I hate to leave such a harsh review, but it was a pretty lousy experience.

A couple weeks before christmas & was greeted at the door with some wonderful peppermint chocolate that included a 40% coupon off of the already low clearance prices on many items. The staff was all very friendly & nice & exudes the christmas spirit which is why I prefer to shop in stores instead of doing shopping online. Although I live in Salina, Kansas I thought I would check out the appliances while in Wichita for some business. The woman who was in charge of that department was a gem! She showed me every manufacturer's refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove/oven as I was interested in those 4 items. Plus you get a discount if you purchase all 4 from the same manufacturer. I got there like 8:30 PM and they close at 9:00 PM. I didn't realize all the options you can get now days. Nor did I realize the differences between manufacturers in regards to color of stainless steel and the black stainless steel. Depending whether you want say Samsung versus LG, the color difference between them is extremely noticeable. She was spending so much time answering all my questions that I didn't realize it was 9:30 PM. They had been closed for 1/2 an hour! She called another employee so he could unlock the door and let me out. I felt bad that I had kept her at work so late. But she never complained. If your looking for appliances, I recommend this store 100%!

JC Penney Towne West is far superior to Towne east. It's very clean and organized. They have better choices in merchandise and you can find everything. They also have actual friendly humans working there.

My go-to department store for quality items. I enjoy shopping here, they frequently have those things you can't find at big box stores like Target. The 2level store is stocked, well laid out with wide aisles and plenty of cashier's. Parking lot is large, with plenty of parking and room to manuver.

Seems like it's always hard to find someone to help you in the Towne West store. We did finally get help and get what we wanted. After that getting checked out wasn't easy as we couldn't find an open register to get checked out. Finally just went to the jewelry counter where the clerk was very nice and checked us out.

I remember when.... You could go into the men's department and have people there to help you with suits, ties and alterations. Maybe I don't shop the right times of day. It seems that most of the people are just behind the register to take the money. Really not a lot different than Wal-Mart except the quality of the clothing...sometimes I wonder about that.

I use Penney's styling salon because that just happens to be where the gal is that I've used forever they're kind of expensive for a haircut their products are very expensive and I would almost recommend finding a private salon.. some but not all of their products can be found at Walmart.. Service is very good here though walk-ins or more than welcome and I would recommend..

I went to the beauty Salon West side of Wichita Kansas to fix my hair color and the person who originally color my hair was not there and Tailor did and Awesome job, she goes the extra mile. I wanted purple the first person gave me blue and Tailor bleach my hair again and work so hard taking the blue than green out and finally this. I think the hair color will change with time and wash

I do hate that choosing not to keep a JCP card, often keeps me from getting best deals. When I was little JCPenney's was one of my favorite stores as the years have gone by then we came over packed and everything seems to be on clearance constantly but the clearance prices are still a little high compared to what they should be and nothing is organized nothing is in the right spot and it's usually a hot mess when you go into the point that claustrophobic people should not shop
