I honestly feel that this is the best T.J. Maxx in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area. This location is always stocked very well. The checkout line can be long but the cashiers make it move fairly quickly. I also love how they’re very diverse in their products. I’m obsessed with the African-American Santas and Christmas collection! You can NOT beat their cheap prices for high-quality products. I can never leave without buying something. I highly recommend this store!

This is hands down the best in the beach. Today I lost my keys in the store and was having a freak out. I mentioned it to one store employee, and before I knew it the whole store was involved. People were helping me look, making sure I was alright, and taken care of. Multiple different store attendants came to my aid throughout the time I was searching. If I could leave a ten star review I would. Not only does home goods have some amazing products, they also have some truly amazing people working there. Thanks to the folks here, I was able to find my keys and be on my way. I will absolutely be returning here again and again. Thank you all for all your help, I am eternally greatful!!!!!!!!

Pros: Some great finds at reasonable prices in women's clothing and home goods. Store roomy and neatly organized. I could see signage for different departments, which was helpful. Cons: The furniture is a bit overpriced. The ladies restroom was old, dirty-ish (mostly the floor and overflowing trashcan) and only had one stall (with a line).

Always something to find in Tjmaxx..Price is moving up like all things in this world! Selection is hit and miss. Just depends on what you are looking for or what mood you're in! I went after valentines and store was picked through and stock was still kinda old. Spring items on the way in. If your looking unique items and you like the item, buy it! Won't be there when you go back.

It's always a treat to check out TJ Maxx/Home Goods to see their fabulous, unique merchandise and great sales. The clearance (or "red sticker") items are a real treat. I love it. Typical TJ Maxx store but it's clean, well organized and things put back where they belong and helpful and friendly staff. I usually rate most of these national/international retailers at 4 stars, but to get the 5 star rating they have to be a cut above their run of the mill brethren and this store is. we have also been shopping here for decades and they have consistently been great. Highly recommended.

We came in for a return and Gretti was working the register and she was so kind and helpful and went beyond to answer my questions on a different matter. Went into TJ Maxx/Homegoods today looking for an accent chair. Not to my surprise we found one that was perfect. Upon check out an employee Melissa was SO HELPFUL as she could not find someone to take it to the car she decided to help us herself. She lifted and carried the chair all the way outside and helped us figure out a way to fit it into a tiny car…. Keep in mind this took about 15 minutes in the humid heat!!! MELISSA DESERVES A RAISE!!!!! Such a hard and kind worker. Thank you Melissa!!!!

My favorite location. Usually great selection of everything. It does get messy sometimes and and associates don’t seem to take care of it throughout the day. Cashiers are very different. Sometimes they are great at what they do but that’s not always the case. I wish they learned how to respect the things we purchase and nicely folded them in bags and not just stuffed them in. This last time the girl just walked away before finishing my transaction and started doing her own things without giving me a receipt. It would be ok if that wasn’t her primary job.

Went to TJ Maxx today!! They are loaded with stuff!!! The line was wrapped around to the housewares Isle!!! You can't complain because it's the Holiday Season BUT, those cashiers were on point and got through those lines like nothing!!! 👏👏👏👏I know they get their share of grief but I for one had to compliment them on a job well done 👍👍 She almost cried❤️ Be nice out there🌲

I have never had a pleasant experience with employees at TJMAXX when doing a return without a receipt. They always make a huge deal about it and start off by saying there is nothing they can do. Knowing full well the police, I let them know a return card is fine. I don’t know if employees are encouraged to not allow customers to do a return without a receipt or if it somehow reflects on the employee. So I was dreading doing this particular return. But i have to give a shout out to the employee Nia at this location. She was amazing. She was so nice and encouraging. Never once made me feel bad or embarrassed for not having a receipt. She just said “ no problem” I’ll take care of you. She was smiling and talking to me the entire time. Because of her excellent customer service I want to continue shopping at this location.

They have good collection of household goods.But it may not some thing you needed for day to day use which you may end up using just because you purchased it. Whatever may be the reason they never seem to open enough counters to manage the crowd. I am beginning to wonder are we getting bargain price on Brand items Its something to think about !!

They are currently struggling HARDCORE with being low on staff. And that makes the line for check out about a 45 minute wait. That being said, everyone who works there is extremely helpful and are trying their best to get the lines through as fast as they can. I came into return something and a manager named Linda went above and beyond to help right a frustrating situation. Once they hire more people every thing will chill out in there. But other than that the employees are helpful and professional.

Good place to shop for basically everything for a good price. Might get kinda busy during weekends when the line to the register can get pretty big and overwhelming but def recommend shopping during week days. Better priced stuff than amazon even and especially if you need the stuff asap

I usually go here for my headphones and other small electronics, but there's so many other great items in here! I recently moved and wanted a new living room items, and through a suggestion from a friend I decided to see what other items this store had. I found some beautiful pieces for very low prices, not to mention some extras for my bedroom and bathroom! Not only that, but the customer service is amazing and the cashiers are so friendly. Definitely my go-to for room redecorating!

In general, I love HomeGoods stores. In comparison to others this store just doesn't match up. I realize this is a coastal town but not everyone who lives here wants beach decor in their house. The majority of their stuff at this location is beach/nautical themed. Blue, teal, and coral colored items are endless here. I still enjoy browsing around but rarely find items for my house.

The sales associates at this store are particularly friendly and helpful. The probability of finding what you're looking for are far greater at this location due to it's shear size. My friends that are new to TJ Maxx are bowled over by this particular location. My wish is to be locked inside the store overnight!

Tj Maxx still stands in my top 5 for unplanned shopping trips. The imported Italian pastas and sauces are far better than the canned ketchups you will get at the grocery store for about the same price. Brand name clothes often find themselves very marked down on the clearance aisles. How mall department stores are still open is still puzzling to me after discovering places like this

This is TJ Maxx & HomeGoods. Large store. HomeGoods has multiple rug sizes. Some small furniture. And plenty of decor. Would prefer to see a dedicated HomeGoods so that there might be more items, however, there is still a good selection and I picked up some bedding and a rug that was very reasonably priced.

This is one of the better TJ Maxx stores in the area. The variety is better than that of most others nearby and the price/brand selections are better too. This one carries high end brand names down to no name generics for almost all categories of good making it great for bargain and quality goods shopping.

First time at this locale in VB. I wanted to check it out because it's like always busy (I live very close). They had a lot of stuff, clothes, purses, shoes, home goods & more. I was NOT impressed. It is supposed to be a less expensive place nit it's not. The worst part, now get this:: the check out process, it's like a busy DMV!!! I WAS SHOCKED! The line, one line, had appx. 20 people waiting & a "voice" tells the "next customer to go to window 8" or whichever one is open. The poor cashier heard my opinion, I wax nice cuz it's not her doing, and she actually AGREEF & was a bit embarrassed at how this worked! She also said that it's always busy like this too, day after day. Poor thing. At least the DMV has seating!!!

My experience at T.J. Maxx was good I always had someone asking if I needed help. Once I got to the line it was a little long and had to wait a while. Then when I got to the line I was helped by this sweet young lady name Hanna B. she was really kind & was fast with bagging my items. I just felt bad they all have to ask people to apply for T.J. Maxx credit cards and get no special benefit from it.
