I was super amazed with all the different varieties of RC vehicles first and foremost ‼️. And I finally found a hobby shop who deals with Primal RC along with many other brands of RC vehicles. I was satisfied with the F450 truck I purchased along with a few upgrades‼️ Y'all will be seeing me in there more often, Bradenton isn't that far. Even if it's just to come up and look at all the different RC vehicles from cars to off road vehicles to heavy equipment to military vehicles. Folks, it's worth a stop in even if it's just to admire some of the fascinating vehicles to custom builds.Me and my friend Lewis were happy y'all. ...... If y'all need an RC vehicle to parts I'm sure they have them and I'm sure it can fit your budget‼️ IT'S WORTH CHECKING THEM OUT AT LEAST‼️. Thank you to a the staff as well. This is one of if not THE best hobby shop I’ve ever entered. The uniqueness of the store is eye candy. It’s one thing to have a stack of big colorful boxes but another to see what seems like endless out of the box models. But that’s not all…. They have a HUGE parts selection to keep you Bashing! They also have a staff that is both knowledgeable in RC and passionate about it. I cannot recommend this place enough.

🔥🔥🔥 They had an amazing inventory 2 days to Christmas. Got my Santa gift to my son and felt I got much more value out of it than I thought I was going to get walking into the store. One of the good rc places around, it's very pricey. what I really hate is that you cannot take pictures, so if you want to referente something with an image to later buy it or maybe looking and comparing prices this is not a place for you. Otherthan that the customer service is good and they have good variety of boots planes cars models etc..

Was having a issue with my SML 10 grave digger and went to My Tobbies and Beau did an amazing job to find the problem and fix it. Even from the second issue and fixed that problem too. Beau was very professional and quick. Will be going to that shop again for all my future cars and projects. Beau was great and would recommend that all my friends in the rc community go see him there

I’ve been here exactly twice, and will from now on start here before I go further with online help/discussion/ordering. I enjoy flying r/c helicopters and had previously bought an excellent (but not locally bought) helicopter online. When I inevitably crashed it - I needed to repair it, but parts are wildly challenging to find for these foreign designs (I won’t mention the make/model because it wouldn’t be fair to this business) and waited 2 months for a ship from China to deliver the “goods.” After I learned more about flying my original small helicopter for about a year I decided I was ready to upgrade to a “200 series” larger platform, but decided it would be best for me (and my crash proclivity) to buy local, with the idea being I could quickly repair via buying here rather than waiting months for a container ship from the foreign guys. I had come here once to buy a small drone to annoy my cats, but saw the incredible stock they had available. I decided I would try again. Today I found they had a collective pitch “Blade 230s” helicopter available, and that they stocked Blade parts for future repair as well. Helicopters are beginning to be VERY hard to find at the local level due to the influx of easy (and fun!) to fly drones taking market space. I appreciated that this store still caters to a hobbyist like me. All of this to say, I’m someone who likes to FLY rc helicopters, I’m not up to speed on the latest/greatest, battery technology/pin connectors, etc. I can fly em, but I have learning to do. When I asked for additional batteries the gentleman helping me was perfect as he approached me, knowing what to ask to know what level of knowledge I had on these specific, important, but minor to “just flying” subjects… I was not made to feel dumb, I was guided and instructed as to my needs, and treated as I was, an r/c helicopter pilot that knew how to do “that specific thing” but slightly behind the curve on the basics of battery tech. It was a great experience. They knew how to work with me and make it about my hobby, not “if you don’t know this, what are you even doing here” as some places will act when you’re not knowledgeable about some specifics. I hope they keep up the helicopter part of their business, because my first 5 flights of the bird I bought today were awesome and I’ll need them to buy parts as I fail occasionally! I appreciate the excellent staff of this business!

This is the best place in tampa to get rc cars & parts,guys that work there are extremely friendly & knowledgeable about all kinds of rc cars especially if you want to have something special built to go fast...fastest rc cars I've ever seen are on the shelves,if they don't have something in stock they will help you order it for you and install it for the best prices ...I was a few dollars short to buy a new motor for my nitro kyosho gt and the owner worked with me and the salesman Calibrated my radio got my car going just for being a good customer...

I like big scale and this is the place to get them. They helped me build a B.A. Xmaxx and yesterday I got my first gas burner 1/5 K&N Losi. Done a few upgrades for me and had it ready in just a couple of hours. This is the only hobby shop I shop with love the service and inventory.

Great hobby store. Got a tekno et410.2 and very happy with the quality. There layaway program is a great opportunity to get a better rc over a 90 day time span. The staff are fellow hobbyists themselves having experience in how everything works and how to get more out of the rc you have. So far I have 8 rcs and 27 body's for them and 1 boat from Mytobbies. I will stay loyal to them for the awesome store and great staff. Also they have a point system that you can earn points for 5 dollars off each time you buy something from the store with points earned.

So my husband got 2 more rc cars 1 a kyosho mp9 evo and a 3s granite both neon green. The granite had a problem with the esc but the guys there made it right with a exchange of the esc and now all is good. I loved the environment of the store, they are located within a mall so they play music as the other shops do to lure in customers. The selection is amazing, I have not seen any other hobby shops within the area displaying units outside of the boxes for others to see. They had at least 50+ cars/trucks out on display, with another 20+ boats. I highly suggest taking the time to check out this local family owned hobby shop.

Great customer service, The Young Lady went out of her way to show my son about how a toy works, what all it does, and how to assemble. The store was still well stocked, 2 days before Christmas. It was clean, and the selection of toys was nice. Some prices were a bit higher than I expected, but in an actual Toy store I'm assuming that is why. But they have the items that you may not be able to locate in a big box store.

I've been shopping here since Dec 2016, and 6 models later I am so pleased with the service, sales, atmosphere and genuine care of their customers! They are more than helpful with all of my questions since the day I bought my first Axial rock crawler that I knew nothing about. The complete staff is courteous and caring and I even enjoy just driving up there to talk and show them each and every build. I had a great experience. We were 2 days before Christmas, it was busy, and the guy took his time walking me through every option in my price range. (which was pretty low) I even got to try the LaTrax Teton out. I liked it so much I bought 3. They even gift wrapped one for me if i bought a $4 roll of paper. Great display and inventory. The employees there made us feel uncomfortable like we were stealing. We didn't walk around the store, what we wanted was right in the front. We asked questions about the items we wanted and they were very short answered and not one of them could answer the simple questions we asked their answers were "I don't know" and "um, maybe I'm not sure". We bought the items and left. This hobby shop is way over priced. Your better off going to Michael's or Jo-Anns .

I had a lot of troubles with my RC car and the guy there was extremely receptive, helpful and understanding. I was treated well and got all of my problems fixed. I haven't used my RC car in years because I couldn't fix it. Now it works good as new. Not only that but the loyalty (rewards) program is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Well people I have to say I'm very happy with the customer service and repair job I received here. First off I came in with an attitude due to the past 3 hobby shop I've been to that didn't give me half the service I received here. My problem was my Slash TRANS kept breaking gears after 20mins of play. So I explained this to Shawn who was my tech. He gave me great feed back and was very knowledgeable of everything I asked. He also suggested better parts and put my car back together perfectly. I wish I had this place in my hometown. A big 2 thumbs up. Thanks Errol and Shawn for making my day.!!!!!!

Bunch of nice people that will listen and ge5 you what you need. Went to the other hobby store in town on Dale mabry and the older guy didn't listen to my questions, just jumped ahead of my thoughts and handed me stuff I don't need. Then decided to talk to someone on the phone instead of the customer in front of him, me. Could have gotten off cheaper buying online but I haven't scratch built in over 30 years and will need help with electrics, all new to me. My Tobbies it is.

What a great experience at My Tobbies located at University Square Mall!!!! Was interested in purchasing a drone, but not sure what type to buy. Vlalvic, is very knowledgeable and professional. I told him what experiences I had with drones. He showed me drones he had in stock and explained in detail what they can do and the level of experience needed to fly one. He was very patient with me, because I had a lot of questions. And he answered every one of them. In conclusion he sold me a LATRAX ALIAS.
