This was our first Goodwill Outlet. Very busy store. Lots of stuff. Some good. Some not so good. A lot that’s just trash. Items are in bins that you dig through. You pay by the pound. Easy to look through most bins. Clothing bins were more chaotic due to all the people rummaging through. Best items are found when they first bring out bins. After the bins are quickly gone through, mostly junk is leftover. But, amongst the junk is where we found everything that we bought. Cashier was super nice. I would definitely wear gloves next time. The stuff in the bins are pretty dirty/nasty for the most part. Lots of broken things so there is for sure a cut/puncture hazard.

The overall store was good and the staff was friendly. This just something that bothers me when you get items for free and you see that they're overpriced on the shelves makes me feel like I'm getting a bad deal. Like when you have a treadmill that's $50 and you got it for free and it's in such bad shape it looks like it should go in the garbage.

Wow, what an experience! Goods on tables, in bins and sitting in arrangements on the floor. The price is $1.49 cents per pound for everthing except books and they are .59 cents per pound. A huge building with tons of merchandise throughout, you may find anything that you can imagine if you are a treasure hunter. There is some work involved, you must must piece after piece to see what is next or down below but the anticipation is exhilirating. There are always many people in this facility each time that we have visited it. We usually strike up a conversation with someone and learn how they shop and find the deals. The goods are unbelievable but you must be determined to find your treasure, it may be at the bottom of a huge catdboard crate, just be patient and persistent and your work will pay off!

A friend down from Illinois is a clothes junkie and introduced me to back part. Clothes piled up ... I was thinking so looked around found nice dining room table and the 4 chairs for 28.00 my friend found several yoga pants for me. To much fun. 10 cents a pound at that time. Then when done there we went to the Front Goodwill and found even more treasures one of the best day's I've ever had! Thanks to all!

Overall my visits to the Outlet Store on Centennial Blvd are almost always positive. I normally find very good cost effective bargains. I shop for myself and family but a lot of people shop there because they have online stores and auction sites and they make a very lucrative living doing so.

IYKYK - THE BINS - buy items by the pound. Be prepared to rummage. Wear gloves and mask. Bring your own carry bags. This place is a glorious mess but some of us enjoy the hunt for the hidden treasures.

Customers can be rude but their employees are very hard working people. The shoe section is monopolized by Spanish and African culture so be ready. Kids will run around and get in the way and the parents don’t say anything at all. They have the same people who stay there all day lol I mean I guess it works for them but makes an average customer feel like they are territorial. I gave it 5 stars because I go there 3-4 times a week and love the prices. The customers are the worst part so beware!!!

I absolutely love this place! I have shopped at goodwill outlets across the country and I’m convinced Nashville goodwill outlets are the best! This place is not for the faint of heart there is no air conditioning, it’s kinda dirty, the people (other shoppers mainly) are rude, ppl don’t watch their kids, sometimes it smells awful like backed up sewage, but it’s all worth it for $1.49 a pound. I have found authentic Prada, Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, Christina Herrera, red bottoms, the list goes on and on! Thanks to this place I’ve been able to get off the ray wheel and have a great career in reselling! I also love that they are giving work opportunities to less fortunate disabled people and you can tell that they take pride in their jobs!!!!!!!

The selection is what you would expect in a Goodwill Outlet store, a mix of everyday offerings with a few really great gems hidden in the bins. This location is not as clean inside as I've seen before but that's the fault of the patrons, not the staff. All staff I interacted with were courteous and helpful. The shoppers here were a NIGHTMARE. No respect for the goods offered or social distancing. Watched one woman THROWING things, even breaking more than one glass item, and never picking up anything that fell to the floor in her haste to snatch up deals. I would come back but knowing what I face from my fellow shoppers I might strive to avoid busy times, like first thing in the morning. I know early bird gets the worm but some things just are not worth the possibility of injury.

PREPARE YOURSELF! 1. The pros will all be wearing gloves to protect your hands. 2. Don’t wear clothing that you love. The bins are dirty. 3. Wear comfortable shoes. 4. Lots of baby clothing! 5. A free for all of clothes, books , luggage, shoes and what-not! This is an experience to be seen in person! If you are claustrophobic or are still wearing a mask, this IS NOT recommended... however if you are willing to dig through mounds of merchandise many jewels can be found! Sold by the pound, one can leave with some surprising fashion items, CDs and nice household items for a few $!

Place is crazy man. They just roll out these big tables and people literally jump into the middle and start throwing what they don't want. I've literally seen people bleeding from people that can't control themselves when they see a deal. Its very dirty and kinda dangerous for a store lol Still I go. I do resale and this is a great place to get items. I find stuff with tags on it all the time. It's big and plan on spending at least a few hours. I have spent 9 hours and still didn't get to the other side lol

The clothing selection was actually pretty big. I was able to find 4 pairs of pants, 3 shirts and a belt for my fiance for $32. A pretty decent deal if you ask me. The condition of the clothes is very good considering they are used. The staff members were very friendly and talked to me the entire time we were checking out. The only downside, it was crowded and with the carts, small aisle space, and people kinda made me feel claustrophobic a little. Buuuut a very good shopping trip! Will return here for future clothing and even household purchases!

Love luv 💝 Goodwill Industries OUTLET stores. There are 3 in the Nashville + suburb areas. You have to be ready to dig and search through the bins to find things. But you can find some great buys. My best buys have been some original designer items 👗 👜 👠👟👒👞👢👚🧣🧥🧦 that were is good condition. Many of the people who are in the store daily, are resellers that sell online and at the flea market. Several people buy and ship 🚢⚓ items to Africa and South America. Come with gloves 🧤, maybe an apron Some people bring food, so that they can take a break, eat then continue shopping. Staff was great, store is about as organized as an outlet (bins) location can be. Price is amazing and I was able to find some great items in older bins in a short amount of time. Only downside is the other customers, they are rude and “claim” multiple carts along the walls and blocking the clothing bins then get mad when you move the cart to reach the clothing. Maybe have a designated wall for carts that are going to just be left unattended while people shop?

I love the Berry Hill store. The 'pound place' is mass chaos on the weekends, but you can score some amazing finds of you're brave enough to sift! The employees are amazing, always friendly and helpful. The store is clean as is the restroom. I love spending a few hours moseying the aisles to see what treasures we find! If you find yourself in the area and have some time, stop by and find some goodies!

I have been to approximately 20 goodwill outlets across the country and so far none compare to this one! It’s by far my favorite. Now I will say outside of the Chattanooga location this one is the dirtiest and most outdated and raggedy one and looks like a 3rd world country compared to other but the amount of name brand and designer items I have found here makes you not even care. I’m an online reseller and feel blessed that this place exists! I don’t even shop inside the actual goodwill anymore bc the good stuff is at the bins.

Great stuff, but ridiculous hours. Also, the donation center doesn't open up until 10 AM to 6 PM. It's funny because, I have seen several people drop off items and leave them by the donation center doors and they get picked up! Hmmm.... This woman pulls up literally five minutes till 9am to drop off donations in a worker told her that she couldn't drop off until 10am. Again, hmmmm!

It's not crazy like most people make it out to be the people that work there are all very nice and helpful if you need help the cashier that waited on me was very patient and very sweet I had to take some things off and be reweghed I think 3 times she not one time was frustrated or ill towards me she was extremely patient and said it happens everyday 3 4 x's a day on a good day 20 or more all other days

This is one of my favorite Goodwill locations. The store is clean and well organized and all of the staff members are friendly. It's even more awesome now that several staff members from the closed down Murfreesboro Rd location work here - shout out to all of my M'boro Rd girls! The only thing I don't care for here is the parking but hey, I could use a little more exercise. Definitely visit this store.

We happened in in a day where they were just bringing out buggies with clothing or soft goods. They were bringing out buggies every few minutes. It was crazy exciting and we came home with a lot of stuff. I just can not find out about how it runs on a "normal" day. I can't wait to go back.

Update July 2021 The past few times I've been it was close to pre-pandemic layout. Still kind of worthless layout with the space in the middle of the store where they have 8 gaylord totes all butted together, filled to the top with clothes/linens and nowhere to sort the stuff into. Nothing was separated like it used to be. Maybe it will get back to that way because it was impossible to get through anything. Still have the giant ball of cords/cables/small electronics, now it has belts and jump ropes also . If they get the sorting, sorted out it will be great and I'll rate it again then.

The manager of the outlet store, Nika, is so sweet and helpful. Always has a smile on her face. If you go, be prepared with plenty of water, gloves, hand sanitizer, and patience. It does get really hot in there. I wish the air worked better. I sometimes take an ice pack to put on the back of my neck.

Found s couple of amazing finds in the outlet center. Many of the other customers were rude and pushy. It's like black Friday shopping. That said, you can come away with great deals. Went into the store, as well, and had luck there. I'll be back, even though this is a home from where I live.

I haven't been in the Goodwill in a long time. When I went in to the place it was brand new I love it I found so movies for me and games for grandkids and storage bags, a beautiful lamp. Had a great time shopping at the store will be back.

The outlet has items at 79 cents per pound (shoes have a set price; some larger, heavier items can be negotiated - pending staff; make a reasonable offer, this is a charity & you will save money!) Always interesting stuff to be had on the cheap & the staff tend to be helpful, usually friendly. If you are willing to dig a bit, you'll be surprised at the buried treasures you'll find. These are items that, for whatever reason, didn't sell at the other Goodwill stores in a given period of time. Alot of stuff is damaged or missing pieces, or just wasn't favored by shoppers at the previous location. But I've found brands like Vera Wang, Calvin Klein, Coach, Nine West, Wilson leather just to name a few, sometimes with original tags still intact or in almost new condition. For best experience, learn the etiquette. Keep you cart out of high traffic areas so employees can do their jobs more efficiently. When they are staging pallets & bins, customers start lining up along the sides of each zone. Look all you want, but keep your hands & body clear until the workers give the go ahead. You'll notice the "serious shoppers" wearing gloves & breathing masks. This is due to the dust. I always take allergy medicine before I visit, wear long sleeves, rarely stay more than an hour & wash up well after as a result. My rule of thumb is if it isn't machine washable or sanitized by some other method I'm not interested; but I'm like that w most second hand/thrift items. This is definitely not for germaphobes, ppl who don't like being crowded, aren't into scavenging or don't care to clean purchases well & perform minor repairs prior to use. But I tend to enjoy the hunt & have chatted up some pretty nice folks there while saving a great deal of $$$. Some of the regulars will give you pointers. I tend to get at the elbow of an avid digger: let them get first pick & eyeball their wake of goods. Unless I see a particular item I want - then I am poised to pounce when employees say go lol. There are always reusable shopping bags to be had (along the right-hand wall when you walk in the door) so you can separate & bag up your goods before check out. Otherwise the cashiers will give you plastic bags & there is a table by the front door to organize your stuff.

I've never been to a GoodWill with so many options or so well organized. There's a retail store, an outlet (you buy by the lb.), and a place to donate. The retail store has deals all the time and I bet will have what you're looking for hahaha Very organized and always an amazing variety!

I love the Goodwill Outlet. I have found some amazing, unbelievable things there. Some of my best finds include a Burberry Hand Bag, multiple Kate Spade Bags, multiple Dooney & Bourke Bags, a sofa table ($5) from Pottery Barn, Tory Burch Shoes, & a Marc Jacobs Bag. If you don't mind digging and spending a few hours there then this is the place for you. If you like to get it and get out in a hurry then don't waste your time.

Welcome to ThunderDome!!! I think I saw Tina Turner herself elbow someone in the throat for a good find. This is my first trip here, it's part rummage sale, part post-apolyptic battle to the death. There are some individual warriors, I mean shoppers, and some team shoppers. They roll bins of merchandise out periodically and henchmen hold the hordes back until all the bins are in place. Then when the emperor gives the command the battle begins. One warrior wants those blue jeans, another snags a shop vac it's all merely tense until two older lady warriors grab the same Halloween wreath. Then the combat truly starts. There are great bargains to be had but this place isn't for the weak or faint of heart. To see a great treasure and hesitate means that another will steal your fortune from under your very nose. Then when you have conquered all the other warriors, you line up at the registers and pay your tribute for your bounty. Shoes @$1.39/lb, home goods and clothes are $.79/lb. Two men enter, one man leaves! Shop to the death!

Goodwill Outlet is a great way to peruse other people's trash. There are tons of clothes, shoes, books and household items, all in big bins with no organization. There are often treasures hiding in the junk. And let's be clear, most of the household goods bins are junk. But since you pay by weight, many things are far cheaper than buying them in the actual goodwill store. And light years cheaper than buying in a retail store. As an example, I bought a commercial rotary shredder for 3 or 4 dollars and sold it for 40 on eBay. I bought a football helmet for 2 dollars and sold it for 25.

I'm addicted to the outlet part of this goodwill. I love searching for jem's in the bins and then paying only $1.50 per pound of clothing! I've found many known name brands like Nike, adidas, the loft, Lululemon, and many more. Totally worth the extra time sifting in my opinion. If it's your first time I would suggest going on a weekday as it can get really busy on the weekends.
