The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The product selection is a little light, but we each found at least one item that was perfect. The building it’s in is incredible! The rest of the stores are empty (as of now) but this historic arcade mall is gorgeous.

I shop here all the time and I have never had a customer service issue. They recently rearranged things to make the clearance items more accessible, which is nice. Most cashiers are friendly and upbeat, and only once in a great while do I get a cashier who is clearly not feeling it, but even then, nobody has ever been rude or bad at their job. I love the layout of the Ave on the Plankington side and how pretty the architecture was designed around the TJ Maxx space. I sometimes wish the store was still accessible from all of the doors and the stairs going down, but I'm sure there are security reasons that caused that, especially with the homeless situation in downtown Milwaukee. With the renovation in progress, TJ Maxx is the biggest thing going on in the Ave and it's definitely worth stopping in to check out their clearance items.

This TJ Maxx on the north side of Milwaukee is probably the most organized and clean TJ Maxx I have ever been in. The selection of clothing was also amazing. I appreciate that they had an enormous selection of Summer clothes, bathing suits and accessories that were all on clearance prices.

This store is located in a cool, historic building right downtown with gorgeous windows and architecture that add to the shopping experience. The staff is very friendly, which I appreciate as well. Great prices on socks, underwear and other essentials. Their argan oil shampoo smells fantastic.

I walked in and was greeted by the woman at the jewelry counter. She was pleasant. I walked around looking for something for my birthday. (It's tomorrow.) I saw a necklace and asked to see it. She measured the chain and I was happy that it was my size. I purchased it. I continue my search for clothing. This is why the four stars. The "PLUS" size? Ugly. Last season flannel and probably nothing anyone would wear in 80 degree heat. (Think Winter) So.. I was disappointed. I did find some sandals but I draw the line at 30 dollars for shoes right now. Can't afford it. So.. I go find makeup and some sunglasses. I was successful. The four stars again is because the glasses are scratched. Plus side, I found jelly beans. Minnie mouse Jelly Belly Jelly beans. All in all a productive trip.

The employees at this location are so kind and accommodating. I needed to go to a wedding at 4 pm yesterday and at 3 pm the only dress I brought with me to Milwaukee ripped. I hurried to TJ maxx and found the only dress in the store that would fit me. The employees helped me to ring it up so that I could wear it out of the dressing room since the other outfit wouldn’t go back on. I was so relieved that they helped and I think it might be my new favorite dress

I have gone here for over 3 years after moving nearby. Parking can be annoying on street but one day I learned that they validate if parking in the parking structure! I can call to simply ask about changing store hours and they are always very nice. I am always greeted by at least one person while shopping. Love shopping here.

I always find a good deal on something here. I bought an amazing $4 spatula there 2 years ago. I can't wait to use it. A good place to buy cologne/ perfume. It's like 1/2 the price of the same stuff at Boston Store or similar department stores.

Stopped in at this location while staying in downtown and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff is very polite and professional and the store has a nice layout. It's not as big as most locations i go to but they still had a little bit of everything. I picked up a few hats this trip and the prices were way better than anywhere else i looked. If you're in the area stop in and see what they have.

I’ve always been a fan of Tj Maxx but I’ve never experienced such wonderful employees. Was looking at duffel bags about a month ago and staff was so nice and helpful. Can’t beat the prices either got a guess bag for less than half the price.

This store is great, just based on location. However, the prices used to be at a place where families felt like they could buy a bunch of school stuff and be ok but now, you just want to grab a few things, and check your account before you think about coming back.

Lots of cheap and useful clothes. They have clothes usually in the $10-$25 range. They are affordable and they have a good selection. You won't be able to find prices like these online. They have the clothes sorted by size and style so its not too hard to look for the thing your looking for. They have changing rooms as well if you would like to try it on before you buy.

I would buy half the store if I could! Always find quite a few items to my liking every time I pay a visit. Happy there's a location downtown. As far as customer service, there are some that are not so great and then even more workers that are excellent! The great ones make up for the workers who aren't seeming so very nice. All in all, I find more positive experiences more often than anything. Im grateful for that. Keep up the good work and give all the awesome customer service peeps a raise please!! 😂💙💜💚 Seriously!!

Good prices and a good selection. This TJ Maxx location is extremely convenient to visit on a lunch break if you work downtown in the vicinity of the Grand Avenue Mall. The location is clean and the employees are helpful. From snacks to furniture to clothing, they have it all. The line isn't usually long as they are usually pretty well-staffed, which is nice when you only have 20 minutes to stop in. Their clearance selection is solid as well. The store offers parking validation for the parking garage connected to the mall.

It's a good store in an interesting building! While the rest of the Grand Ave mall continues to dwindle this store seems to still be going strong with new weekly shipments and plenty of choices to choose from. The plus size clothing and shoe sections at this location are unusually small for a standard TJ Maxx but they do have a large designer bag selection, clearance, and home goods area to make up for it.

I had a good experience due to the contingency there are not many stores open and those that are open have little merchandise, but that was not the case, everything was very good the employees very friendly, they had all the appropriate measures before the pandemic, excellent service! 100% recommended, They have a wide variety of products of the best quality

I stop here once in awhile I’m between getting out of work and waiting for my coach bus to get me the hell out of the city. I always find something to purchase here. I like the layout of the store. Everything is is placed nice with the prices on top of the racks along with sizes so you can get to what you like and you size quick. Also this store is not over saturated with items so it’s an easy in an out...I managed to pick up some jogger sweat pants, a Abercrombie crew neck, 3 pk of adidas socks and some razors for just $40. Only complaint is they don’t have men’s shoes but it’s downtown and close to trusted kicks which always has the best shoes at the greatest prices

Love T J Maxx. They are currently remodeling this location so the clothing selection is limited among other things. Always love buying beauty products and trying different things. I've found some really great things. Their inventory always changes so sometimes it is hit or miss.

Good prices on Men's Grooming products, when available. However, that's not often. The Men's clothes, don't go above an XXL, on shirt's. If you're lucky, you can find a size 38 jeans, again, "if you're lucky".

I should've signed up for a rewards card a decade ago. My goto place for finding stuff that I don't need, shirts, socks, kitchen stuff, etc. The product changes weekly, so you gotta stop by pretty often.
