Interesting store to explore. This is a religious supply store, but there are lots of things an individual could purchase. Many great options for Baptismal, First Communion, and Confirmation gifts. Also a very large selection of Christian greeting cards. Very friendly staff.

A great variety of religious books, gifts, clergy wear, candles and church goods. The employees are super helpful and very nice. They are open and well stocked. They are currently taking orders for palms for Palm Sunday and paschal candles for Easter.

I bought a white alb there today. It is full of ANYTHING you can think of: cards, candles, crucifixes, robes, and so much more. Highly recommend just stopping by to see their enormous selection. They have kind people to help you as well. I highly recommend!

If you are looking for all things religious, Stempers is the place to go! They have everything from children's books to ritual books; from scapulars to religious medals; from clerical shirts to priest albs and vestments; from chalices to monstrances! (You get the picture!) Wow, if you are looking for something religious, I cannot imagine a place that has more. There are several rooms and each holds a lot of stuff. Everything from religious robes to chalices to gifts and chains to full size statues, etc. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, especially if you are of a different religion and are not familiar with what is appropriate. The place is handicap accessible. Getting there may be a bit of a challenge as Stemper's is not located on a main street. The easiest way to find it is to take Clement to Potter and go east.

Staff very accommodating & friendly. If you can't find a gift here for that special occasion you won't find it anywhere. The assortment of items they have here means your search is over. Needed a baptism gift for a girl being baptized Lutheran and after searching found quite a few items to choose from. It is a Catholic store, but they have journals, plaques, pins, bookmarks, teen commandments, devotionals and a large assortment of cards to choose from, that could be given as a gift to those of other faiths. Did stop at another Catholic bookstore in Milwaukee which was smaller & had only a couple of items for other faiths. Regret that I didn't stop here first. One stop & you should be done.
