What a cool place! My wife and I stopped in to just check out the store, only to discover a small bar/lounge with amazing cocktails. Talking with that Retail and Events Director, we found out about the event space on the second floor, which used to be a training space for Cassius Clays (later, Muhammad Ali). We stayed for a cocktail and enjoyed the atmosphere. If you are visiting Louisville, or are a local, this is a must stop location for your next trip to NuLu!

Upon first receiving the custom flask, my husbands initials on the monogrammed leather case looked uneven. We went back and forth about how they said technically the letters are evenly spaced but because of the shape of the letters they look uneven. I know it's subtle but it's noticeable. I asked them to consider putting a small space between the first two letters to balance it. They never responded but I received a replacement leather sleeve with the exact same monogram with the wrong spacing. Then I received a third replacement with them evenly spaced. Overall I got the corrected item but well after the date I needed to give it to my husband. I would expect a little more attention to detail out of the gate when spending $150 (with shipping and tax) on something "handcrafted"... The entire flask together is beautiful just make sure your loved ones don't have difficult or uneven initials I guess.

They are great. I'll admit that the price can be a bit of a sticker shock, but everything is so well made, crafted, and designed. The staff member that I talked with was great. He gave me wonderful suggestions of some other stores to visit and places to go while in louisville. They have earned a permanent place in my bookmarks and I'll definitely keep them in mind for any other purchases.

I absolutely love everything they make! This is my third order from them. I’ve ordered the Rocks glasses, the Dublin slim wallet, and now the Pint glasses. The quality of everything they make is over the top! The glassware is thick and sturdy and the precise stitching on the beautiful leather shows great craftsmanship. I like that everything is handmade in a USA factory. They even honored my special request to do two different monograms for a pair of the Pint glasses. Everything ships quickly. My only wish is that they would bring back the dark navy shipping boxes since they were so unique and classy. They made a better presentation for a gift than the traditional brown corrugated shipping box I just received.

What great products & service. I ordered one of the Glass Flask during their free ship and free gift promotion. The Flask arrived quickly and it is top notch quality. However my free gift wasn’t included. I emailed them. Super fast response. Apparently I had failed to add the gift to the cart when I placed my order. With that, they made good on the offer and shipped my free gift and covered the shipping cost. Great Company!!

Best leather goods period. Had bought some Texas shaped coasters for myself and they’re so well crafted! I buy personal coasters for people all the time for birthdays and holidays. I’ll only buy them from Clayton & Crume. Phenomenal customer service too! I bought a Large valet tray and when it had gotten to me it was all bent up. I sent a picture of it to customer service and they sent a new one right over. Absolutely amazing people over there. Only leather company I’ll ever use!

I came across this company while googling something!! It was about 2 weeks before Father’s Day and this beautiful flask appeared before me!! I investigated it and realized I had the perfect gift for the man who has everything placed at a push of a button!! So I did! After placing my order, never hearing of this company, I panicked and there before me again was their phone contact number! I called and them immediately and they located my order and I asked if the product would arrive before Father’s Day and they assured me that it would! Sure enough it arrived at least a week before, it came elegantly boxed and well presented inside! I am so impressed with every aspect of the experience with C&C! And it’s American made to add to the experience!! I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!

I initially contacted them by Messenger to see if item would arrive by Christmas. Sent message 12/18. I heard back same day saying it would. I ordered that day, and received monogramed eye glass strap the 23rd. I am very pleased, and my husband really likes it. Well made, and love the monogram. Leather is a little stiff, but like all leather it will soften and relax with use. I can recommend this business.

I ordered the monogrammed black leather sunglass strap for my husband. He was impressed with the quality of the leather and size of the monogram lettering. It was put to use right away. The ends slid right over the arms of the glasses snuggly. The glasses will stay put. The length of the strap was just right. Not the long length associated with other glasses straps. It seemed a little more expensive than others. We're thinking the price will be reflected in the length of time it holds up to the job. Black leather like this is classic and will stay in style. The name of the shop is classy.

Very happy with the quality of the glass, solid metal cap and funnel, and the top-notch leather wrap. The only thing I’m a little disappointed with is the monogram is slightly off center. I’m thinking it might be a result of my request for a two letter monogram instead of a three letter version. Still highly recommend this flask!

I ordered monogrammed rocks glasses as a gift for my husband. I indicated the monogram in the notes and when the package was delivered, the leather wraps were missing the monogram. I contacted Clayton & Crume via email regarding this oversight and they promptly responded. They even included the shipping label for free so that I could return the unmonogrammed glasses at no charge to me. The correctly mongrammed gift arrived in plenty of time for the holiday AND they included leather "extras" at no additional charge to me as a token for the inconvenience. The packaging was very nice, but when I opened it, I felt the initials were not very ingrained/distinct/noticeable in the leather. The initials should have been darker so that it really stood out. Would I purchase again knowing this was the final product, probably not.

First of all, my husband lives the rocks glasses. I on the other hand had asked that the monogram of the D could be larger in the middle. It would nicer because D is the last name ( DeSando) I was disappointed. Very. It looks off because, ADJ doesn’t look as good as AJD which wouldn’t be a true monogram but I may have opted for that if the D couldn’t be larger than the other 2 letters. A phone call could have solved this. I was also sad that it came in a box with your name and what was in the box. We don’t exchange many gifts so it was important to me that it was a surprise. Not sure I would spend this kind of money again especially since it was a simple request. I could have been contacted if nothing else. I may not have put the D in the middle. I was a little nervous ordering from this company because the wallet and belt were expensive and I found them via a Facebook ad. But I read the reviews and looked at the website and they seemed legitimate, so I ordered the custom wallet and belt for my Husband for Christmas. I never thought they would actually make it to me in time because I ordered them Friday, a week before Christmas with a custom monogram. But they must have been working overtime!! My order came with days to spare! The quality and craftsmanship is unmatched. Even the box it came in and the fabric protector bags were beautiful ❤️ That leather smells amazing and feels even better than it smells. My husband was shocked and stunned. Yes 5 stars for Clayton & Crume! I purchased the leather wrapped whiskey glasses for my husband for Christmas. Order process was seamless however when I receieved notification that the order was delivered that was not the case. Communicating with Clayton & Crume customer service we waited a few days in hopes that the glasses would arrive. They did not BUT Clayton & Crume takes care of their customers and made sure to send glasses in time for Christmas. The products were different shades of very good quality leather. The craftsmanship was as good as advertised. I like the variations in each strap as you knew they were not dyed or artificially changed. The straps are thick, not flimsy but pliable enough to be comfortable while holding their shape. I love that it is an American handmade product, developed and crafted by two entrepreneurs and their team! Purchased stitched full-grain leather belts as gifts for my groomsmen. I don't believe that there is a better gift in this price range for that purpose. Shipping was really fast and all of my groomsmen needed a high quality belt. They all had no idea about the difference between genuine leather and full-grain, and this belt was a huge upgrade for all of them. Last summer I stopped in the brick & mortar. Really cool space. The history with Muhammed Ali was awesome and they had nice bourbon selection as well. I spoke with Jacob Karaglanis. He told me about the company's history and quality of their products. He shared that one of his favorite products is his belt. Until going into the store and speaking with Jacob, I had no idea that genuine leather was so bad. But it made sense, all of my genuine leather belts that I've had through out the years have fallen apart. That day I purchased a sunglasses strap for me. When trying to decide what to get for my groomsmen, I knew I wanted to get something that would last. I think its terrible that so many of our clothes and accessories are not ethically produced, and also are made to only last a few years or so. I wanted something that would last a life time, these belts were the perfect solution. I am so excited for groomsmen and I to wear these belts on my wedding day, and for them to have a gift that they can actually use.

I purchased the monogrammed flask and I found it to be of high quality and the packaging is excellent. I received the product within a week of ordering. I did not give this product five stars because the company advertises that it is dishwasher safe. However, it is impossible to get the leather cover off the bottle. So I washed it by hand but the funnel forms an airlock with the bottle and therefore it overflowed running all over the leather. I found that holding the funnel off the bottle a bit while filling helps the flow. Even with my two gripes, I would recommend this product. It’s very nice looking.

I ordered the rock glasses for Christmas and I thought I didn’t receive them. I emailed the company and customer service was wonderful and quickly answered my email. They informed me that per the tracking number the glasses had been delivered. I thank them for the number and said I would contact UPS, who also said the glasses had been delivered. The next day my lawn service found them on my back fence, not anywhere near my front or back door, but in the corner of my backyard. They had been there about a week. I went to email the company back that I found my glasses but customer service had already set me out a new set so I could give my my friend his gift.

Two sets were delivered without a note, which required me to have to contact the receivers and explain that the gift/glasses were from me. I made a mistake when I placed my order and thought I had added a monogram to the leather sleeves. Evidentally, I did not because I received an e mail asking if I wanted monograms on the glasses. I thought they meant actually on the glasses themselves, not on the sleeves. So I said no. When my order came, no monogram on the sleeves. So I wrote, and told them I had made a mistake and could I please send them the sleeves to be monogrammed. No problem. I got them back the other day, and they are perfect... so classy. Received as a gift. Love the look, feel and quality of the leather and embossing. The only constructive criticism is to somehow make the bradded connection swivel at the slip-on connection to the glasses earpiece. That would allow the leather loop to hang down more on the neck instead of straight backward away from the neck.

I ordered two of the eyeglass straps, one for each of my sons-in-law. Unfortunately, they both came with the same monogramed initials. So I contacted C&C and they apologized and said a new one would be sent immediately. I asked that the new one be sent OVERNIGHT to a different address as I was leaving town for Christmas. Never arrived so on Christmas Eve I called and was assured it went out. When I got back home I found two deliveries in my post office box....sent regular mail. I am somewhat disappointed with the chaos that seems to be prevalent in the office that takes, completes, orders but I am pleased with the product. As it turned out each son-in-law got not one but two so it was a win for them. I would consider ordering again and I hope the issues, I experienced, can be rectified.

I will admit it is everything I wanted in a flask, however I have not had a chance to use it and am not sure how it will hold up, but I do expect good things.
