These is one of the most biggest art stores I’ve been. The have a lot of variety and have a lot of good and helpful employees. The only bad thing I saw was that the cashier was in a bad mood or something cause she was a little rude. Other than that everything fine..

I wanted to say we got excellent customer service from Eli today. They were very approachable and knowledgeable and actually saved me money and a trip by asking me about my project and making alternative recommendations for things I needed. They were enthusiastic about not only their work, but their team. If they're not a manager, then they need to be. If they are, then they need a raise.

This isn’t the nicest location in Vegas but the staff here is very helpful and friendly so I go to this one instead of the location closest to my home. I came here just a few days before Christmas so I’m sure they’ve been busier than usual. If not for a few bare shelves and not having everything I needed this would have been a five star review. But again, the staff was very kind, helpful, and respectful which is a reason to shop here.

This is one of my favorite stores in the world. I can't go in without buying something. Loved the end of season sale on containers (boxes) that have pretty prints & close with magnets. I get new ones yearly. Jewelry making parts for my earrings are there along with art supplies, baking supplies, yarn, painting, faux flowers, seasonal decorations, frame department, wedding items for invites to table decorations. I'm telling you they've got anything & everything you'd want to do crafts , a side hassle or a special event. For me I go to get ideas for Xmas gifts or to make my Jewelry or get boxes that I've started collecting. I just love them.

We went here on Black Friday night... It wasn't to crowded but there were some shoppers there... I was just a tag along on this trip... My daughter wanted to make some gifts for her friends and colleagues... There was a very good selection of all kinds of crafting items... There were tons of Christmas items for your home decorative needs... Being that we went in the late afternoon there wasn't to much staff members around to help or to answer questions actually walking around we didn't see any... We found what we were looking for on our own but it took some time... Also there were quite a few items that I wanted but no price so I ended up putting it back... Being Black Friday maybe they were busy during the day but there was quite a few misplaced items... Right by the check out there were lots of snacks which doesn't help when you hungry... Kinda strange to see stuff like that at a craft store... But that is typically what all stores do to get you to buy just one more thing... Regardless our trip was a success... Found what was needed...

Customer service was amazing! I ask a staff member How to find what I was looking for, she told me exactly which aisle and middle or end! This made me so happy! There were multiple check out cashiers so the line wasn’t long and they always have coupons! I found some glitters for my nails and the weren’t too high priced!

So much to choose from. I was there shopping to make some kind of flower or plant arrangement . I ended up finding everything I needed and more. Its nice when its a one stop shop. They always have great deals and such cute stuff. The wait was a little long when checking out. There was only one checker but its ok. The staff was helpful and nice. Customer service is usually pretty good at this location. They have a coupon currently for 40% off acrylic paint, markers, etc. I was interested in the paint. They have acrylic paint for 70 cents so I was there to grab a bottle of paint for about 45 cents. Unfortunately, the paint I wanted to buy was not covered by the coupon. The coupon says 40% off fine art acrylic paint.... Apparently "fine art" acrylic paint is only on a specific aisle. It didn't seem to be a brand name, just a category. The coupon should have been more clear. My income right now is virtually non existent. I would not have wasted my time and more importantly, my gas if the coupon had been more specific. So that was disappointing. I did see some very nice craft storage. It's overpriced, but I know to expect that from Michael's. The prices they charge for things like plastic drawers and other storage items are absurd. I believe they are having a 50% off storage sale but I'm not sure. I think they give out the 50% off one regular priced item coupon so frequently because they know they are overpriced. Their framing department is the same way. Years ago I needed something framed and it had to be done asap. Unfortunately their 70% off + 40% off framing sale had just ended so I paid $700 for something that would have cost $180 the day before. If you can frame my painting for $180 one day, you can do it the next day! They should lower their framing prices to a reasonable amount. Then they wouldn't need to have so many sales and coupons. They would get more regular business because consumers wouldn't have to worry about sale dates and coupons. But I guess they are counting on people like me who don't always have time to wait for the next sale/coupon. Looking back, I can't believe I spent that much money. That stupid painting is now the most expensive thing in my house. 🙄 Going back to their storage items, I saw a cart that looked like it would work really well for my craft storage needs, but it's $50. The brand us Gramercy or something like that. I took a picture of it because I am pretty sure I can make this cart myself for about $8 using items I already have and some dollar store baskets, etc.

Fairly organized and stocked but slow reps and too quiet of an environment for a crafts store. It should be happy, and energetic. Always have a buy of the day and fast response to customer needs. People shouldn't have to wait on assistance so long. Empower your managers and people. Train them and trust them...returns should not only be at managers discretion.

One Michael's store is much like any other, which holds true here. That is both good and bad. If one store has what one is interested in, they all do for the most part. If your local store doesn't carry it, chances are none do. That said, the employees at the South Decatur store in Las Vegas have, in my experience, always been helpful and courteous. My most recent visit was to order a custom mat for an art print I am preparing as a gift. The man who assisted me lived up to the helpfulness and courtesy I value. Thanks for a great experience.

Good prices but their quality is really going downhill. I bought a picture frame and had to return it twice to get one that wasn't damaged. I've had problems with other frames I've bought being damaged as well. The lines are somewhat long most of the time but the staff are friendly at least. For arts and crafts, they are one of your best bets these days. The stars mostly for the quality issues of their products.

Michael's is always a dream and a nightmare. Nightmare for my wallet bc I can go CRAZY shopping for craft supplies tho they do have good deals and coupons. The checker is quick to give shoppers a coupon at the register if they have one, which is appreciated :) they were also patient with me even tho it was closing time and I had a bunch of items in my cart to decide on. They didnt fuss at all that I decided not to purchase some things. They were very kind and upbeat. Store was clean, well organized and stocked. Hopefully I'll have as good an experience on my return visit as I want to return a couple items.

Selection is great and massive, though supplies are relatively generic (less specialized materials). Customer service is good, and helpful. Prices are generally on the high end unless you use coupons or shop specials though they are available pretty often just a small hoop to jump through.

This place always has everything. I go in for one thing and come out w/it and extra. My daughter found this fun DYI. I think we r always finding fun things to do at this place. I even could not find something that I was looking for i went up to an employee asked about the item and she took me right to it. Very friendly people work here. It was a little confusing, but once you knew where you wanted to go it was great. I love the Loop and the Tesler cars to take you to the part of the convention you wanted to go. It is massive. I'm just glad everybody is back.

Perfect store to look for small decor or small accessories to your home. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Just found out that they have a UPS service area in the back of the store, in case you missed the scheduled delivery. Go directly towards the back at the custome frame section.

I usually have a good experience here, and mostly every Michael’s really, but today was awesome. I am creating something out of my head completely with no plan whatsoever (scary, I know) and I’m on a time crunch. I saw Mark, the manager, assisting someone in spray paint and when he was finished I asked for help. Long story short, he gave me additional options that not only helped my budget but also made more sense (choosing a cheaper paint for a base coat instead of using multiple cans of glitter spray paint for coverage, and showing me a location of a brand of paint marker in a larger size, vs buying 4 smaller size of the major craft brand). 🙌🏼 very helpful, and very knowledgeable!

What can I say. They might not have as big of a selection of some things. Like Hobby lobby. But, they have a better staff. And don't mislead the customers by the way they display things. Hobby Lobby has a bad habit of putting up displays with 1 sale item on it, with a price for that. And the rest of the display is not on sale and there are no other prices displayed to show that. It takes too long to find someone to help you. The place is huge. If I wanted to hunt down my info, I'll do it elsewhere. There's always have someone to help you at Michael's. Thank you.

Nice except there isn't hardly anyone around to help you ever. I just want to find scratch paper art and they send me to the kids section and then I find a book with designs to scratch off the color. It was good, but it would be better if they had scooters for handicap people. I had to stop going because of my bad knees and I can't stand for long periods of time. I go to Walmart for my supplies because they have scooters. I would rather go to your store because it had more to offer and a large variety of supplies.

Staff was nice. Complaint; - Can't take baskets out side. Had to borrow a Petco basket to take back large item in to the store. - Credit card machine had issues with Chip reader. As in took 5 times, of swiping then inserting then repeat, to get it to work. Cashier was very apologetic.

I love Michaels, as far as a stand alone craft store, they work for me because there's no fabric section. What I don't like is how bare the shelves are, especially when the app says items are in stock, plus it seems to change week to week what products you can and can't use the coupons for. The other thing I don't like is most of the employees don't know where anything is. This particular location at Charleston /Decatur seems to always be 50/50.

It's only a good time during sales. I bought scented pillar candles for under $3 for the 8" ones and under $2 each for the 4" ones. 3 for $10 for the ones in a jar. Even Walmart sells those for $5.99 each. They also print out coupons at the check out for future purchased.

My review is for the specific Michaels store on Dekatur. I live over in the Southwest and rarely go to an Michaels but the one near me. But since the Pandemic, I can not find the yarn thst I need there. I ordered for curbside pickup from the Dekatur stors and hauled my kids over there. I not only waited easily 10 to 15 minutes, but the woman who came out was definitely showing that she was put out having to come out and almost threw my bag in the passenger's side window. When I called back to speak to a manager I was i formed that the woman was a higher manager than the shift manager I was speaking to and there was nothing he could do about it. Now, there is a yarn I need and it is at that store, but I am searching elsewahere because I do not want to go back to that store.

There aren't too many craft stores to choose from in Vegas but Michaels is Def my favorite. I love how they always have coupons and deals going! Staff usually just leaves you alone which I like for this type of place. (I'm brainstorming) I also like their order online and pick up feature for when I'm in a hurry. This Michael's has way more stock then the Michael's up on 5th and centennial has by 2-3 times as much. Better selections too.the only downside, is that the loss prevention personal was called just about every minute or so, we where only there for around half an hour or so and the loss prevention personal was called roughly about 15× or more. So that tells me they watch people why mord then the other stores do.
