Spacious and light filled. The store was laid out well, had a nice selection, and was well stocked. We had no trouble finding what we were looking for. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is the first Michael's I have been to with self check out. I loved it and hope the Michael's closest to our house gets self check out soon!

This Michaels location always has the most updated planner supplies! They've now started accepting competitors' coupons as well. My only complaint is that the cashiers do not take the care and attention necessary to ensure the coupons redeemed apply towards the correct items. My friend and I bought the same things and used the same coupons, but she ended up being charged $14 more than I did!

Always been a fan of Michael's but recently the store has seemed understaffed (two visits in as many weeks for school projects) It was difficult to find someone to help locate a specific item.Staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful once I was able to locate someone for assistance. When I went to check out register #3 didn't support Google pay and there was no sign mentioning it was down on that specific register.

The line moves quickly and the associates are helpful and informative. They are pretty well stocked on most things, but if you want something seasonal, you need to pick it up at least one to two holidays in advance of the one you want to decorate for. If you want Christmas decorations, you had better start buying around Halloween.

When I walked into the store it was very gloomy. The fake flowers at the front of the store are displayed differently. I was sad that while shopping I couldn't see all the vibrant colors of the craft supplies. I bought some yarn and the cashier was nice.

Yosselin?? Sonething like that, not the nicest. My mom asked if she could use her teacher ID to get her 15 % discount. And she answered with "yeah if you enter your number I can't just give it to you" so I was alittle confused because she had just scanned my rewards barcode from my app. So I asked if it was a number for the rewards program ? And she answered with "yeah if she has a number I'll give her a discount" 🤔🤔🤔🤔 so I say , "that's what you just scanned but I can enter my number as well if I need to" and I guess she felt alittle dumb and so she says "it's processing 🙄🙄🙄" love micheals I'd rather not have someone be so rude to me or my mon after getting all my crafts lol .

Y'all, I was one of those customers recently...the one that comes in right at about 8:45pm, knowing dang well they close at 9pm. I knew exactly what I wanted and where it was. (Took me a quick minute to figure out the layout of the store because I have never shopped at this location) I knew the item was in stock but it wasn't in it's normal area when I checked. I found a sweet associate (I wish I could remember her name) who was busy restocking the shelves before they closed. I asked her if she could help me find the item I was looking for. She HAPPILY (seriously, she smiled and said it was no problem when I apologized for coming in so late) pulled out her handheld device, looked up the item, and took me over to the yarn area. She noticed the item wasn't where it was supposed to be either. She grabbed a ladder and started looking through a couple boxes on top of the shelves and FOUND the item I was looking for. I was so thankful for her help and time. I ended up checking out and getting out of the store right at 9pm. To the girl who helped me, thank you so much for taking the time to help me. I appreciate you more than you know! Also, clean store and well stocked. If I ever live closer, this will be my go-to Michaels.

Randomly bought some stuff yesterday. The lady in front of us was pretty rude to the cashier, and I was very impressed with how the staff maintained their composure and professionalism. My husband is quite an Artist. This is- the only Michael's store where he purchases his paints and the white Canvas to draw on! There's always some great sales on a weekly basis! Love this store. Employees there are extremely helpful. My only complaint is the line to check out are usually long. I understand that it is close to a holiday and you would think since they know it gets busy, they'd have more than 2 registries open to check out. Keep in mind it's like all the time. Nice place to shop at, just keep in mind you might spend more time waiting to check out than you did shopping.

There's always a weekly coupon, so be sure to go online & just save it to your phone so you can have it scanned at checkout.

Your typical Michaels, very well organized and huge selection. The staff at the back for frame online order pickup were very nice and helpful. I came in early before my order was ready to be picked up, and they still went ahead and checked the status of my order to see if I could get it a little early (I couldn't but I came super early so no surprise).

My go to craft store. Everything is clean and organized...I just wish I knew how it was organized. I usually have to wander around to find what I'm looking for. Always pull up online coupons before check out as these can provide good deals. Sometimes I go buy a single item, leave and then return if items are expensive because coupons will give up to 40% on a single item. But only one item per "trip+.

Handy for craft items. However, selection in the jewelry making section has greatly fallen. Not sure if they are phasing out or if this is temporary, but I've noticed it over the last couple of months. Staff is generally friendly, but not nearly as experienced in crafts as they used to be years ago. They also are in short supply.

I love shopping at this Michael's. This location has a different set up and feels rather confusing but it's a decent store. Though I don't like where some of their things are located because they put the Jewlery right at the check out so you have to go through small spaces just to get to what you came for. It's quite annoying so I shop at other Michael's with more space to buy my jewelry making items. This is a great location for school crafts.

They have craft supplies for scrapbooking to crochet. I normally go here for when I need yarn for a project. They also have baking supplies and pans for larger cakes. They have everything thing you could want for the most part. The only downside is they do not have a large sewing department.

Is there anything more depressing than going to a Michael's? I feel like it's place devoid of joy if you go there outside the Halloween or Christmas season. Had to get picture frames today and I feel like I'm entering a Haunted Cabin. Ghost employees walk the aisles but none of them can see me. When will their thankless work come to an end? After all the tye dye kits are bought will their souls finally be free? Bring a coupon and burn sage at the door. Those who shop here regularly are doomed to wonder it's aisle eternally.

I really enjoy my art time as a meditation time, so I have started painting. Michael's has all of the tools I need paint, canvas, brushes etc. The supplies sometimes get low and what I want is not there, but for the most part I can always find an incredible bargain if I use the coupons and read the sales announcements. Slim to nothing sales team on the sales floor, so be prepared to find stuff yourself. The Wesleyan store in Houston has recently been remodeled and it looks great.

best for affordable framing of artwork, diplomas photos etc. it does take a long time to do. but the consultation process is great and they really take their time to make sure you're satisfied with your choices. i had several diplomas framed with them. they are also a great place for shopping knick knacks, decorative pieces & holiday stuff. i sent my parents and they got a very beautiful Christmas tree!

My wife and I went there to get some touch up paint for some knicks on the furniture. They have a ton of things like that. Also, I picked up a few things from the do-it-yourself jewelry department to fix a broken crystal Christmas ornament. Little stuff like that can make your day.

Came for the kids slime class and some tyedye stuff. The class was fun but the lady doing it was handed the class at the last minute and had to figure it out as she went along. Also the 50percent off coupons were virtually useless because they can only be used on full price items and almost everything had some sort of discount applied even if ita 25 cents off so it invalidates the coupon .Stupid .The staff arent very helpful either. Like the westheimer location much more

Good location and selection however they have a habit of not listing things that are on sale on their website in case someone pays full price instead. The stock levels and the store itself is "meh". Weslayan, 1-10, and Pasadena all generally have better stock levels. Basically worth about 2 1/2 - 3 stars. But the staff??? Standout crew! Consistently helpful, funny, and friendly. They don't always know the answers, but each and everyone of them will stop whatever they are doing to look it up, check it out, or walk you over. There is one male manager (I should know his name by now because he practically LIVES there) who clearly sets this standard because he's always checking in with staff and customers. New employees and old act just like him. Now if they could just get a bit better stuff...

There's plenty of product to choose from, though it's often out of place. Have a question? Ask your phone, staff isn't very knowledgeable. Also, if you have any sinus or allergy issues, pop a Benadryl before entering, this store uses scented spray and the perfume fills the air at obnoxious levels.

You never know what someone could be going through at that particular moment.
