I haven't visited this store in 10 years. I was excited to see it during our most recent visit. But I was a bit disappointed. The variety of teas isn't what it used to be. They used to have great cold teas, I still see some but not as many...And the tea flavor seems to have gone down in quality.

Out of this world tea shop. The most interesting and well stocked leaf tea store I have ever experienced. Kind of hard to find this place in the Ala Moana Maze...but we'll worth the effort. So many choices will bring you back!

My go to place for loose leaf tea. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I don't drink tea often (more of a coffee guy) but I like that I can go in here and describe what I am looking for in flavour and they know exactly what I'm looking for.

Bought tea there for souvenir and my parents loved it! Apparently they sell it at T&T in Vancouver as well. Also appreciated how clean they were. Masks are mandatory and they wipe down the POS machine after every interaction

Sad that Teavana was closed after Starbucks swallowed them up? Not me! Lupicia has been my go to tea store ever since I moved to the island and I have yet to have a cup of tea that has disappointed me. Don't freak out, yes it is in the parking garage level of the mall. Though I miss the pre-covid days, this store is still warm and welcoming, and always has suggestions when I say "I loved this tea, is there another one you think compliments it?" All along the wall are cards that have the flavor profiles of the teas they offer, it's not just what is sitting out on the tables! Also, seasonal tea and actual limited releases are a thing here, so be prepared. My absolute favorite tea is Carol and it only hits shelves in winter and when it's gone, it's gone. So when the time of the year rolls around I giddily wait to restock. My sister adores Anela and as it's sold out online, I buy her bags of it as birthday and Christmas presents! Trust me the lychee in the Anela tea is addicting! They have fruity teas: Apple-berry, Strawberry Vanilla, Apricot etc.; the luscious comfort teas like Cookie and Au chocolate; and a great matcha and matcha latte options too! They also have wonderful cold brewing pitchers, lovely tea pots and perfect tea cups, all the tea steepers and infusers you could need and the necessities for making a perfect cup of matcha. For me nothing is more perfect than a cup of tea and a new book. A glass of iced naturally sweet Strawberry Vanilla tea and a summer best seller on the beach; a mug of Cinnamon cookie tea with a heavy splash of milk while wandering new realms of fantasy on a rainy day. If you think so too, Barnes and Noble is on the same level of the mall, walk out the door and turn right. Happy sipping!

Lupicia has a beautiful and large assortment of teas. They have prepackaged teas that I love giving as gifts because it is so wonderfully wrapped. The sales associates are knowledgeable about their teas, and are always helpful if I need a specific tea.

Wonderful quality products and staff were very friendly and helpful. All teas are made/packed in Japan, but there are some flavours and blends exclusive to Hawaii at this store. There are some local honey and fruit butters available too. Their products here are very nice quality

This review is done by my wife. I discovered this store while vacationing in HI and I am all about their teas. Introduce my family & friends to high quality Matcha and visited local store in OC and my last online order in December as a giveaway with Christmas cookie. (I gave the cookies but forgot to include the tea), now I have enough supply until my next order I can't wait for the new site to be up a running. I know it's a little pricey but its worth it.

UPDATE: I've been here multiple times and learned about large-scale gift tea. I've tried a few of the sample teas, but none are as good as the discontinued Soleil Levant (got the name wrong in my original review). Bought the Uji Sencha and it was unpleasantly bitter. Staff still helpful.

Many, many high quality teas which you can smell test (dry teas). Try the Matchaway green tea packets of their premium matcha tea - so smooth that it's like drinking cocoa. Also, matcha tea is a growing fad on the mainland right now. They also have lovely tea accessories. This is the only Lupicia store (from Japan) in Hawaii. Free parking. Located facing the mountains (mauka) on the street level near center stage.

A must experience. And make sure you take advantage of the free tea sent to you each month with a minimum purchase. I buy a gift and get a free tea sent to me each month!

This shop has an atmosphere that makes you want to enter unintentionally because the spray is beautiful. The package is also cute, so I often buy my favorite tea for gifts. I'm also happy to give you some tea bags as a bonus when you buy it. There is a limit of 10 people in the store, so you may have to wait depending on the time.

A shop in Japan. Each town has its own flavor, so if you see one, stop by. Hawaii is strongly recommended as a tropical country, and although I was not good at the scent of dried mango, I was very satisfied with the many scents of fruits such as guava and lilikoi.

Stopped in for a flavored tea. The store was bright and clean. When I visited, there were only Japanese customers, but there was no staff who could speak Japanese. Since it is a specialty store, the prices are high, so I think only Japanese people come here.
