The main draw to this store is the murals outside - they have a huge Bob Ross mural that looks great! The workers are friendly. Good selection for certain arts such as painting and making model sets, but did not have products for all type of art

Jerry's was awesome. I feel like anything you could possibly contrive of art related, it would be here!!! There's aisles upon aisles of supplies. I could everything I needed - and SO SO MUCH MORE!!!!! I came in for a couple of supplies and I left with many more things and a knowledge that I'd be back!

Went in today because I needed art supplies for a college course I'm taking. I had a list but no idea where to begin, I was thinking to myself that I should have just gone onto amazon and gotten the items there because I felt it would have been easier. Just then a young lady came over and asked me if I needed help. I showed her my list, she took it and proceeded to walk around with me and help me choose the items I needed. I wish I had gotten her name, she was so pleasant and helpful. I'm happy that I stopped in and helped to support a local business in my area. From now on, this is where I'll go to get my art supplies.

Best art supply store I've been to in CT. The people working there today (7/9) were all super friendly and helpful and I found EXACTLY what I was looking for, a sketchbook you can paint in without bleed through. I have looked in every art store in NYC and haven't found these, I asked the guy behind the counter and found it in 10 seconds (called "RENDR" by Crescent by the way, highly recommend). In store shopping was easy and safe with clear social distancing efforts in place. Great prices too, would definitely come back here.

It had been years since I walked in this place, so long in fact that I don't even remember it at all, and I am the furthest thing from an artist although I hold art and artist in high regard. This place was so cool that after spending 20 min or so perusing around I found myself so inspired I ended up buying a sketch book and several quality drawing pens should inspiration to doodle ever strike... I have no idea if the prices and selection are good, but I do know that most of the stuff inside are things I haven't seen for sale anywhere else in terms of brick and mortar retail. Also, definitely got the vibe like all the staff were VERY knowledgeable, I'm sure each with a different area of expertise. I can't imagine even the owner having the capability to know every item on sale in detail. The selection is simply to vast. Will I be back for absolutely no good reason besides this place is cool and they have a quaint little smoke shop next door, 💯% I get the feeling like this place is similar to a great museum in the sense that you could probably spend 3 hours or more inside and still not have enough time to "geek out" on all the neat stuff for sale, and again, I'm not even an artist!

Jerry's has an awesome selection of art supplies of every kind. They also have frequent sales that are really generous - for example, today they were doing 60% off of watercolors and I got a bunch of Winsor & Newton tubes for $2.90 a tube. Great store, makes my day any time I get to go!

It's always a pleasure to go shopping at Jerry's! There are so many very cool art and craft supplies, and all at great prices. If you let yourself wander, you'll definitely find new things you didn't even know existed, but are really useful, or fun to use. The staff is always super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the stuff they are selling. And they have framing supplies too!

I personally haven't gone in. I've given a friend a ride here a few times and they gave spoken very highly of it. He likes to get his spray paint and especially the tips for the cans here and has said they are great and fairly priced and great quality. The building I have to say does have amazing artwork on the outside too

Jerry's Artarama is making me feel feelings. Jerry's selection of art supplies is second to none- even if none is Bob Ross. It's located in the back of the fernwood parking lot. It's worth checking out just to see the cool art on the side of the building.

This place is amazing, I’m obsessed. They have all the best products at half the price of anywhere else I’ve looked. Some products I wanted were out of stock, but they have also been having a big sale. I’m so glad they are finally open again on Sundays too, as that’s my only day off. Would be more convenient if they were open until at least 7 during the week though. Love them though, highly recommend over any chain craft store or Amazon.

Huge variety of art supplies and really good prices! Chelsea is super knowledgeable about the products and always makes great recommendations for me! I've always had a great shopping experience here and I feel comfortable just browsing around but when I have a question there's always an employee to ask. They also have alot of random items too like small toys and sticker books etc that are nice for small/unique gifts! Would recommend Jerry's to any artist, new or professional :)

Excellent selection of fine arts materials, crafting, illustration, miniatures, specialty papers, and even furniture like drafting tables. Plus a custom frame shop with a big selection of pre-made frames. I'm always noticing new items I never spotted before. The shop is my go-to for greeting cards that aren't hokey. The staff is very good and knowledgeable. Seriously, I've had long conversations about how to waterproof paper here--they know their stuff. The place is clean and the prices are fair. I make a point of coming here instead of big box or Amazon because I just love having them close.

Amazing selection of art supplied and art related merchandise- all for an amazing price! Great for starting artists and skilled alike, the vast variety and selection is to kill for. Great staff, nice atmosphere. Only complaint is the aisles are very narrow, and are hard to get around others. A bit of a drive for me, but by far worth it for the price and selection.

Not only does Jerry's have extremely good prices that always end up with me carrying various canvases and paints out of the store, but the staff is super helpful and courteous, always willing to help you find something! I truly enjoy going to this store, especially when the staff seems to truly know the products and kind of can assess what you need if you don't know exactly what you are looking for! This is a cool store, they have air-conditioning. Alot of stuff to look at, they have art supplies you normally wouldn't find anywhere else. Will definitely come back. They have a limit on how many people enter so expect a wait. People know there stuff too, you can order stuff from them if they don't have it in store.

As a working artist, this place is what keeps me able to do what I do. Great staff, who are all art makers themselves. I feel pretty confident in asking them pretty much any question I have. If one employee does not know, the chances another one in the building will. They have great sales and their regular prices are also slightly below retail. I chose Jerry's over Blick's mostly because it was closer to my college. However, after visiting both many times, I found my experiences to be better at Jerry's. Sometimes I still go to Michael's but only if it's a location thing because Jerry's items are almost ALWAYS cheaper than Michael's WITH a 50% coupon. Jerry's is great for a professional as well as a fresh beginner!

Jerry's is the place to go for professional grade art supplies and services. I have purchased and used everything I bought here. I have used their custom framing dept as well for a gift; we were given as much time as we needed to choose a frame to match our piece. All personnel are knowledgeable. No better place to go for the serious artist at any level! Any and all media types here from paint to pencil to ink and beyond. Nothing cheap quality here, yet still affordable! They sell easels, paper, and light fixtures, too. An all around artist's store. No comparison to ACMoore, Michaels, etc.

This place was amazing!!! I'm an artist so going in here was like me being a kid in a candy store, I just couldn't help myself! They had such a huge variety of art supplies, lots of different sketch books, pencils, colored pencils, etc. The things they had were so high quality but at a good price. Amazing customer service! Walk in the door and even though the associate was assisting another customer, she found the time to greet/welcome me. I had put in an order online to pick up in store, but ended up going to the store before receiving the confirmation that my order was ready. The associate I spoke with said my order wasn't ready, but that it wasn't a problem for me to pick up what I needed and they would cancel the order. Very polite staff who are extremely attentive to customers. I highly recommend this store! Best of all, there prices are amazing for the products that they sell!

I only come here to bring my mother, but let me tell you this place has great customer service that I don't even mind driving 50 minutes to bring my mother here and wait for her to make her purchases. The staff is always making sure that you're all set checking if you need any help. One of them my mother kept asking for prices for different items. The lady kept going back and forward checking the prices for my mother and she was smiling the whole time and she made sure we were ok during our visit ( I wish I remember her name) but thank you!!!

They have every sketchbook, pencil, & canvas type under the sun. Not to mention the staff who are so helpful & friendly beyond belief. This is gonna sound somewhat like a commercial, but I used to shop at Micheals until I got a Jerry's Artarama gift card from my bestie - And I'm so glad I went! Outside the store seems so small, but they make good use of their space and it's actually chock-full with items that cost way less than Micheals. The prices definitely beat theirs! Jerry's always seems to have some kind of sales event going on which is AWESOME. If you ever have time you should definitely stop by Jerry's, you won't be disappointed!

My sister loves coming here for the copics markers. They have everything art related that I know of. From what I've seen they don't sell model kits but they do have alot of basal wood (sorry if I misspelled that) overall price is great to alittle expensive depending on what you buy. Copics cost about $7. Will be going there for anything art related.

There is still goodness in the world. My car battery died in Jerrys parking lot and I didn’t have any jumper cables. I walked into Jerrys to see if anyone could give me a jump. Without hesitation one of the associates Kelsey said I’ll help! Kelsey even helped me push my car out from the snowbank. Why is this special you ask – I’m 6’0, 215lbs. She could have easily just watched from the sideline but instead she jumped in and side-by-side we pushed my car out. We need more people like Kelsey, nonjudgmental, selfless, and willing to help others in need.
