I never write reviews, but after the way I was treated, by the male manager on duty, on Feb.17 at 4:30 p.m. I felt the need to share. I had purchased an item 2 days ago and they still had many in stock. I had the receipt. The tag on the item was gone, must have happened in transit. Anyway, after the cashier ask him about it, he said she would need to do a gift card. I didn’t understand since I had the receipt. So I ask to speak with him. I understand policy, but the way he spoke to me was anything but professional. He was rude, condescending and just said “you are getting a gift card”. Why would TJMaxx hire a manger with that attitude and lack of personality. The cashier said he had been bad all day. Very unprofessional!

Pretty neat having both stores together. Great customer service, honestly could have had better selection considering the size. Found a few items and had a good visit. The isles could be spaced a little more with how much traffic walking inside provides.

Oh my stars do we love this place!!! From bedding to fancy salt! This store has is all!!! My husband and I just recently had to get a new duvet cover and ended up redoing our bedroom! We only wish we had a bazillion dollars (not that anything is expensive ) we just want SO MUCH that is in this store!!! We will save and be back, save and be back!!!

Pretty nice place but the check out lines are always so unbearable no matter what time you go. Good deals and friendly staff but wow be prepared to wait in a line to matter when you go.

Love going to this store. They have so much. You never leave empty handed. Checkout line always looks scary long but moves really fast. If you're shopping on 28th Street make this a destination.

Very cool shirts. But not much for bigger sizes. There was a really cool shirt I was gonna get but the biggest size they had was a large. I wear 2X. Also the shirt I got. Said it was an XL. Ended up being a small. Which was the NASA shirt.

Stay out of this store. I warn you it's trouble. They have so many things that you will fill your cart and empty your wallet. When you walk in the line to checkout looks very long and daunting but do not fear it moves very quick. Also they have strategicly placed a lot of items on each side of the line for your perusal just in case you missed it in the store

Lines are always out of this world. But I must say, they definitely keep them moving along. I haven't seen anything like actually. It's kind of impressive. They always seem to have good stuff at a good price as well. The one thing I do love about this place is, of you buy something from the he goods side. It's quite likely they only have one of whatever you want to buy so people can't copy you, you can keep it original.

My only complaint is the check out lines. I have put merchandise back because it was not worth the wait. By combining the stores into one it has caused an unconventional shopping experience.

I live TJ Maxx because it has a lot of cute home goods that are cheaper and they are brand new. You can find a good selection and shop for everyone. I like that this location has both home goods and TJ Maxx in one. I do wish things were a bit more organized and you didn't have to dig for stuff. Also it can be fairly busy and the wait to checkout can be long.

Stores are very well stocked and connected to each other for convenience. But they could use some slight work on some cosmetics such as the shopping carts which are very faded and around the bottom of the racks which are very dirty and need a good cleaning. Overall, it is a nice place to shop though!

This store is amazing. Im preparing to move and have been able to find all kinds of neat and useful things for a new home and office. Dont be intimidated by a super long line because its fast checking out. You need time to shop here things change quickly.

Was there on a Saturday around 4pm and the store was extremely busy. They did have someone counting customers and stopped us from coming in to keep at capacity. Regardless, I had to stand in line for 15-20 minutes just to purchase two quick items.

The manager has a real bad attitude in they act like you owe them something. In will try to find every excuse not to refund your money from your purchased items. In excellent condition

Decent selection however isles are super small in children's area. It is my GO TO place for unique baking items as well as teacher and other smaller holiday gifts. Not the biggest fan of his they have the checkout lane focused on one direction but I understand why. It's a great place to wonder.

I don't get to stop in often but it's always a treat when I do. Love all the variety, great prices too. My only suggestion is that if you see something you like don't hesitate and think you can think about it and come back another day. More than likely it'll be gone. They have everything from gourmet foods, furniture, lamps, rugs, bath accessories....the list goes on and on. It's a fun way to spend an hour or two :)

It’s a great place to go for good deals, but you can also get ripped off sometimes. I bought a shower caddy for holding my shampoos and it was metal and it said rust proof. Well it wasn’t rust proof because shortly after I got it, it started to rust. But other than that, all of the other things I have gotten from there I haven’t had any issues with. Great place with good deals, but just be wary of products that may seem too good to be true.

Great things for your home (kitchenware and gadgets, rugs, bedding, decor, outdoor furniture and decor, and much, much more) at very reasonable prices. The store gets messy with so much stuff and people don't seem to know how to put things back where they got them, but if you have the time, you can find some great things.

Whoa boy! Lots of good stuff so a good price, but good luck finding anything - or any associates to help. Items on the shelves were randomly placed with no rhyme or reason. Granted the place was crowded and wore busy, but that made the experience even more frustrating. We had to wait a good chunk of time on line too because of how busy they were.

I don’t know if this is normal but I was there around 4 on a Tuesday afternoon and there were 30 people waiting in line to check out and it didn’t seem like they were worried about adding extra cashiers—maybe they are short staffed but it was such a long wait. :/

Honestly, I go into Home Goods looking for maybe one item, and I always walk out with tons of treasures. Why do I love the store so much? Why is there always so many fun things to purchase? Always worth the walk around the store, except if you're broke, then you probably don't want to walk into here. But they have an excellent selection of food Goods, kitchenware, dog and pet items, kitchen and bathroom items, you name it. I love this place.

One of the biggest and best examples. Get "the Max" and "the Goods" in one place! If you are outdoorsy, walk down a few stores to the Sierra Trading sister store and find great deals there on outdoor fun.

Only complaint here is lines are ALWAYS long. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes in line every time you purchase something. When this use to be a store inside Centerpoint Mall, the lines were never this long despite having about the same amount of people. They usually sell out of season clothes which will be discounted almost half off, so you will get great deals here. They sell home decorations, small furnitures and cookwares here.

I was kind of overwhelmed by the amount of clearance items, but that was certainly a benefit once I got my bearings within the store. They were really well staffed and ready for Sunday shopping blitz, and the staff was really patient with me when I had to turn around and make a return almost immediately after buying something. It's also pretty obvious that the staff have great relationships with each other; I've never seen a group of people have so much fun cashing people out for purchases. Made for great energy while I was trying to make some hard decisions on decor!

Products are high quality and reasonable priced. However, customer service was poor. I purchased a large mirror and was offered no help. The girl at the cash register just stood there atairing at me struggle to get the mirror on the counter. Didn't smile, didn't speak, except to say the total. I was dissappointed in the service.

HomeGoods is really a good place to buy items for one's home. They offer good selections in décor. I am always amazed by their kitchen selection from pans to glassware to specialty spices and sauces. Would highly recommend. I didn't give five stars however because sometimes, their items are broken or missing pieces so you need to watch out for that.

We went in on a Saturday and the lines were so long it was going down the aisles! But I was extremely impressed with how fast the line moved. We only waited about 10 minutes. I was shocked and quite impressed. So don't let the long lines intimidate you.

Love this homegood, great place to go if you are looking for something unique. The lines can be long no matter what hour you go though so just be prepared. It usually doesn't take too long to get through. No one in this has ever asked if I needed help and I shop their almost every Saturday.

It’s hard to explain this store. They have a little bit of everything you would ever need to decorate. This said, it can be a bit pricey. Unfortunately, I haven’t come upon coupons yet! Check out the clearance sections, they’re woven between the aisles. Sometimes you can find deals, sometimes it’s still waaaay to expensive. It’s worth a visit to check out!

I love it here. They hace so many things! Decore, pillows bedding, kitchen ware, accessories for pets [beds, collars, dishes... no food], jewlery, rugs, dressers lights and ottomans and of course purses shoes and clothes for the whole family! However be prepares to wait in line, that store is always packed!

This store gives me anxiety-everything is just piled in the aisles-you walk around and just hear things fall in different aisles. Great stuff, but makes me nervous I’m gonna break something. Lines are crazy long and slow too so even if I found something I second guess it by time I look at the line.

Best TJmaxx I've been too in west Michigan, but the line is always long and moves slowly. Half of the department store is HomeGoods.. need more cashiers. Not as organized as the TJMaxx in Holland, but if you are looking for nicer name brands , come to this TJ Maxx.

Good selections. Love the gourmet food though they used to carry a lot better selections from my experience (depends what you’re looking for). This store is small for the amount of customers that come in. I wish they were opening a homegoods store on east beltline along with the new tj maxx to reduce traffic and waiting times in this T.J.Maxx/home goods. I think people working there need to have a little more patience and positivity.

Best in the area. Great selection and practical prices. I am not fond of the location on 28th street in Grand Rapids as I feel the concept of “Home Goods” and “TJ Max” blending in together under the same roof leaves out the availability to get the best deal on merchandise as prices are higher than the location in Walker due to higher expenses in over head.

They straight wildin in that place, am I at TJ Maxx, am I at this other HomeGoods place, I don't Know, I'M AT BOTH YA'LL. They have so much weird stuff nobody wants, I think they collect the cast off furniture that doesnt sell anywhere else. They had studded hard ottomans, clear plastic dining room chairs, chairs with a large metal ring in the back, oil, shortbread, spatulas, a little mushroom home for rats, it's like a Chinese flea market. You're gonna love it. Plus all the discount clothes you know and love at The Maxx. Buy your cousin a gift card for this place to lure them in, its gonna blow their mind. When you're ready to buy your swag and treasures, a robot will scream which Lane to check out at, you'll feel like you're at the airport.
