Great service and set-up. Staff is accommodating from security check-in to purchase. Very well knowledgeable on their products and will gladly answer any questions or give advice. Good menu selection on all cannabis products. Plenty of space when inside and waiting for your order. Only downfall is parking...it being in downtown, it doesn't have its own lot. Expect to pay for street or lot parking. My go-to dispensary!

Great place and really helpful staff but the 1 and only bad thing is it’s cash only. Makes it complicated and feel sketchy. Imagine going to a pharmacy and having to pay cash for “medication” it’s outrageous and feels like a drug deal in which it is. If you can’t accept card reconsider running a business in 2023.

I am entirely new to cannabis use for either medical or recreational purposes. Getting my medical marijuana license was a bit of a Hail Mary pass for relief from chronic headaches. I was a little intimated at first, not being familiar with the history, culture, or language that has formed around cannabis use. After some research I chose The Botanist in Columbus to be the first dispensary I tried. After that first trip I see no need to check out the other dispensaries in town. The store is warm and inviting looking from the outside. The friendly front desk staff quickly checked me in and took me back to the purchasing area. The interior is warm and softly lit, with jewelry-style display cases showing off some of their hardware. An ATM is available in the store, but for a fee. Transactions are cash only, so come prepared. After only a brief wait I was assisted by another extremely friendly and helpful staff member, who was able to set me up with everything I needed to get started, and for a reasonable price, including a strain that has helped alleviate my symptoms. I have been back several times since that first trip, trying out different strains and forms, and everything I have purchased from The Botanist so far has been absolutely top notch. I will be returning to The Botanist for all my future purchases, and see no need to check out any of the other dispensaries in town.

Staff is always super friendly and helpful. They may not have the cheapest prices around, but I would rather spend a few dollars more and go to the botanist. Ordering online through their website for pickup or curbside is the way to go and the quickest way to get in and out. The staff rocks!!

Completely happy and floored at how wonderful the staff here are! Every single one of the staff were above and beyond kind, insightful, and patient. I never felt rushed and it honestly felt like every member truly enjoyed working there. A special shout-out for the super kind soul wearing rainbow glasses, taking the time to explain the process of purchase and going into depth on the products in an amazing manner and tone! The Botanist is an extra 20 mins from my closest store, but this experience made me feel so safe, respected, and comfortable… The Botanist is now my go to! Plus, the interior and energy in the building is STUNNING.

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a dispensary. The store is very nice and super chill, prices are competitive, and the staff is always friendly and happy to help. My first time only took 25 minutes between sign up to recieving my order and is almost always faster every time I return. This is definitely the most professional dispensary in Columbus.

I give inside 5 stars and curbside 1 star. The curbside person will make you sit and wait anywhere from 15-20 mins cause they dont want to walk 20 feet more than once per pickup time. (I heard him saying it to the security guy). Everytime I've gone in it has been great so that's what I will be doing from now on.

New to this dispensary...I've been trying to visit as many as possible. Upon reception I asked to speak with the manager/owner for a tour of the location. Rony took me in and gave me a tour. Very very friendly. If your not sure if medical is for you you can stop by and discuss your options directly with him. They have privacy rooms to consult with you. Ok parking is across the street and taxes are not included in the shown price. I was lucky to be there when one of the cultivars was in and spoke with him as well. His company is the Captain Cake product. Thanks guys

Absolutely the best dispensary in Columbus. The staff is absolutely amazing.. Fast, funny, friendly, and always to the point. Well worth the small premium in price point to pay the right people. The workers are friendly and are happy to answer any questions you have. It was really nice inside as well. My only complaint is that only a few people (workers and patients) were wearing masks. I was scared the whole time I was inside since I am high risk for COVID. Many people who go to dispensaries are high risk as well. I strongly suggest making masks mandatory in your store, as this would make everyone feel more comfortable.

The atmosphere is like that of a jewelry store. Displays are in glass showcases. Very classy. Security is even classy as well. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They make you feel like an old friend when you're a returning customer and they get to know your name and personality

This place is amazing. The staff sat down with me when I was researching and had questions. They spent a lot of time with me and didn't rush anything. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and very knowledgeable about this area. I have never felt rushed or anything. The ONLY thing I will say is it is a little on the expensive side BUT, with that said, their products, staff, and assistance make it worth a little extra. Also, they do offer Veterans discounts and discounts for people that are disabled or low income. Approx 25-30%. That makes them 5 stars, all day, in my book!!!

I live 1-2 hours away from most Ohio dispensaries, so I know I will be in the car for a while. This place is worth the drive! From the gentleman that greets you at the door, the front desk staff, to the bud tenders - every single person was friendly and helpful. It's gorgeous inside! The selection and displays are great. They were Busy, but my wait time was minimal. This is where I plan to go in the future. Definitely give them a try.

If you are in need of these services I feel this is the place to go. I have been to a couple other places not far from The Botanist and I feel so very comfortable with all the people that work there they are very personable and knowledgeable and will take as much time as needed to explain any questions you may have. The only thing I would like to see is better parking I feel very exposed coming and going.

I love coming to the Botanist! Security and front desk staff are always welcoming, kind, and try to get you back into the show room in a timely manner. They usually have what I need but sometimes they have a smaller variety of products compared to other dispensaries in Columbus. MOST (but not all) staff is knowledgeable about products and can recommend something great! The big parking lot close to the building and the ability to drop off right in front is a plus!

The Botanist is a really good dispensary. All of the employees are helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. They always have good strains and decent prices. My ONLY complaint is, that they had a better system. When they text and tell you your online order is ready but it still takes a while for them to call your name. It’s never really an in n out trip. Other than that, I highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I frequent this store a few times a month. The first time we went it was waaaay quicker than I could have ever imagined. They take you in the lobby 6 at a time. After everyone is checked in, you are ushered to the back where all the wonderful, yummy varieties of your medicine are kept. Goes super smooth every time we go. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous.

Interior was nice. We found close parking in a free lot near by. Not a large waiting area. The main 'showroom' was nice. Had a jewelry store set up with lit display cases of packaging samples and info cards and hardware but no one on the floor selling or assisting. The clerks, I assume because of covid, did not come out to help customers. There were only 2 employees that I saw. Online pick up seems to be their mainstay for now. Their flower 5.66 + selection is better than other shops in town, especially for counting days. Their specials weren't advertised but applied. If its your first visit with them there is paperwork. They'd prefer you come in early if that's the case.

I stopped in at 2pm on a Wednesday and just managed to beat the rush. As a new patient I felt I got processed faster than normal compared to other experiences, it usually takes at least 20 minutes for them to process your new patient forms, I was brought back around 12 minutes from first entering the facility. Great atmosphere, bud tenders, and medicine. My new favorite medical dispensary.

I honestly hesitated to review the Botanist because it's my favorite dispensary and it feels like a hidden gem. I have been going regularly for several months and have never had to wait to be assisted. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and it's always a very quick process. Even if you don't order ahead it takes a maximum of 10 minutes to get checked in, order, and receive your product if you know what you are looking for. Ordering ahead makes it that much faster, maybe 5 minutes tops? They are always adding new products and have a wide variety of options for every budget and preferred consumption method. Also they occasionally do fundraising drives, encouraging patients to donate their change to their chosen charitable organization. They recently did this for cancer research. A great dispensary with a great staff.

As a new medical marijuana patient. The folks at The Botanist. Made my first legal purchase as easy at it gets. The staff are equally knowledgeable as they are friendly. I spent less than half hour there. The Botanist located in Columbus has a modern architecture. Easy parking, and relatively convenient location. Only gripe I have is with the ATM, and it's limited tender amounts, and fee. However, that not going to stop me from going there.

The Botanist is, simply put, the best place to get medicine dispensed in the area. After visiting a couple different places when I was new to the program, I landed at The Botanist - and there I have stayed!! There are a multitude of reasons for this - the immaculate atmosphere, the reasonable prices, the close proximity to downtown - but the SINGLE BIGGEST reason is the employees. These budtenders are some of the most compassionate, enthusiastic cannabis advocates I have ever come across (and I’ve met a few!) and they really genuinely care about their patients. Every single Dispensary Agent I’ve had the pleasure of talking to there so far has been immensely helpful, but none more so than Andrea G!! I had the blessing of having my consult with her during my initial visit, and my god I have never felt more seen! She really took the time to educate me, and answer every single question I had (which was a lot, she’s seriously so knowledgeable!! and kind!) and then some! She also had some awesome recommendations which I am still so grateful for. The Botanist is seriously my go-to place now. I can definitely see myself going there a lot in the future!! :-)

11 people allowed in main floor, I think only 3-5 in waiting. Great revolving strains, clean and it's pretty. Busy everytime I'm there so staff not super nice or anything. Have had to wait in the cold to just get in the waiting area. Very small private lot so you might have to find parking. Don't come in until your order is ready text received because it doesn't seem to get your stuff earlier. If you dont pre-order, you'll wait to put your order in then have to wait for it to be delivered to window. So pre-order of you can!

While none of the dispensaries are run perfectly in Columbus, I consider The Botanist to be the best one. They always have wonderful customer service, orders are filled in a very reasonable amount of time, consistently, many times they seem to have batches of the same strains as other dispensaries that are slightly better quality than the others. There always seems to be somewhere close to park, and I've only had to wait longer than 30 minutes less than 5 times out of a hundred or so, which is a much lower rate than the other Columbus dispensaries. All in all, if you need the products they sell and are in Columbus, be sure to make this the first place you check.

The botinist is the main dispensary I use. I live in Powell so I'm kinda right in the noth side of Columbus and I've been to all the ones close to me and I prefer the botinist the most. The staff are awesome and actually remember who you are when you come back. Its not the closest one to me but I definitely prefer it to the rest. After you start to go a lot you almost feel like family.

Once I found where to park everything was great! It’s a really cool place and set up. The building felt safe and professional. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Since it was my first time I got the grand tour. I love that they have a pharmacist there and medical/pharmacy students from OSU. They seem to really care about the science behind everything and want feedback from patients about what strains are working for what ailments for them. It was a great experience and I will def be back!

Since I knew nothing the woman who worked with me took time to explain the various products and suggested usage guidelines. Parking was available but limited. Certainly the best dispensary in Columbus. The process for getting in is pretty weird, so if it's your first time, just go with the flow and plan to be there for about an hour. Once you get past the lobby and into the actual dispensary area, it's absolutely gorgeous. It's kind of like the Apple Store of cannabis products. Everyone there is extremely professional. They have a daily menu you can check out while you're there or online before hand. When you get called up to make your order, the pharmacists are patient with you and will help you get the right product for whatever your diagnoses is. Just ask questions and be ready to learn. And the cherry on top is the prices are fantastic. Will definitely be coming back as soon as my supply runs out. Note: Parking is hit or miss. There are a few metered spots across the street that I recommend. Note 2: Try to go during low traffic times (i.e. not on a Friday after work). The line to get in can be absurdly long because of the Covid restrictions only allowing about 15 people at a time.

There’s literally no point in ordering ahead. You order ahead, get there and will still wait easily over 30-45 mins to get a pre-packaged product. I still have not figured out why that takes so long. You’re better off doing a sprint from your car at 9:55am to stand in line for 25 mins in the morning with no order ahead..you will still get out in the same amount of time. High prices and the staff could tighten up. They’ll say they’re short staffed but’ll have the same amount of people from last visit order picking, might I say again, pre-packaged products. Catch my drift?

Organized, quick, professional, and good with the info! I was going to Terrasana when I finally got too frustrated with their delays and inventory confusion. The Botanist was a great experience, from signing up to getting my stuff. The staff is on top of it with the info and I felt like they knew exactly what they were doing and they told me how much allotment I had left, which Terrasana never did. Parking is the only confusion, we went to two parking lots before just parking alongside the building in the AEP lot so I could run in. If you do this, have someone wait in the car for you because apparently you can get towed.

Slowest moving dispensary in Columbus. Their check-in, order, and checkout process is convoluted. Ordering and then wandering around while they fulfill your order is inefficient. In addition, it doubles the touch points for patients who seek to limit contact with surfaces because covid. In addition, this often means coming within 6 feet of 2 or more employees during a transaction. This multiplies possible exposures and isn't very efficient. Edit: I still disagree with the multiple employee contact situation. However, I will say that in my last 3 trips the staff has been efficient AF. I would recommend this dispensary for their (usually large) selection of luster pods.

The place is clean and beautiful, the staff is kind and wonderful, and it's just an overall very well run, high-class operation. I'd recommend trying The Botanist if you have not tried them yet. Much more of a patient focused approach rather than a transaction based approach.

I can't say enough good about this dispensary! My first impression was that this place actually cares about the customer, not easy to find with many businesses anymore. Arica has been my budtender twice and she is just awesome! Arica is knowledgeable and her customer service skills are great. Every staff memeber that I have communicated with has been excellent from the phone, front desk and manager. The interior is nice and inviting. I have not received great quality flower at some other dispensaries, but here I have purchased grade A flower and extracts. This dispensary knows how to treat the medical marijuana patients and I will be a loyal customer. The best dispensary in central Ohio!

Every representative that works here that I have dealt with have been pleasant, but more importantly they are knowledgeable about their products! More importantly they never appear inconvenienced or as if they are in a rush to see you leave! Anyway, I could probably write a million more good words about this dispensary. Point is, it’s a well ran company with great products and great employees. If you need medicinal marijuana and want to get it in Columbus, this place is the best.

The Botanist Columbus is a great dispensary. Now that there are more choices of where to go, the little things really make a difference. The location is urban but parking is close. You are greeted at the locked front door by security who actually takes a moment to speak to you while welcoming you. The receptionist was equally as friendly and the check in process was efficient, both as a first timer and returning patient. The “budtender” quickly gauged how much assistance I was looking for and provided a menu folder. They were knowledgeable and interested in past purchases, as well, in order to communicate those experiences to other patients. They have a wide variety of products- especially sativas which are lacking at some other dispensaries. The prices are competitive for the market and they offer discounts, which helps. There are multiple people working and both visits I was in quickly and never felt rushed once inside. The vibe is relaxed and the space is large, open and beautifully decorated.
