Went to get my bulldog groomed, he got the standard bath + the holiday package and he looked great! He was super happy and his nails looked amazing. I can’t remember the names of who was working on 11/11/22, but they were all awesome! Will be back!

The friendliest staff up front and the grooming folks are nothing short of brilliant. We bring both of our Aussies there for nails, ears, treats and toys. My only comment is I wish they had a better selection of toys made in the USA or Canada. Everything seems to be from China which is a hard pass. We love our dogs too much to take the risk.

Pretty good place for all kinds of pets whether reptiles,fish, or furry friends. I just wish they had reptile terrarium things and the grab and go crickets we're actually alive. Other than that probably would rate 5 stars. Staff are always nice and helpful.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely concerned to help us find what we needed. Helped us pick out an aquarium, lid and accessories for our new pet. All of their fish, birds, reptiles and mammals seemed very healthy, active and energetic, and all cages were clean which is a good sign of how the animals are treated and if they are healthy or not. They even had cats from Colony cats up for adoption and at the checkout free treats for dogs. I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised at our experience here! Highly recommend compared to PetSmart.

Hefting a 30 lb bag of dog food through the store can be rough. Petco takes a bit of the pain away with their curbside pickup. AND, their 10% discount on pickup orders over $50 makes Petco online shopping with curbside pickup even less painful! Keep it up, Petco!

This Petco is actually staffed and open during normal hours. We have to go out of our way to go there as it isn't our closest Petco, but it's not terribly inconvenient. Well organized, helpful and friendly staff.

The selection was good and the person who helped me was courteous and professional (even when my older dachshund had an accident in the store) I found the aquarium i wanted for my daughter at a reasonable price. Petco is known for their aquarium sales, but I ended up getting an item that wasn't a part of the "dollar a gallon" special. I've bought dog and cat items here before as well. My only complaint is the treatment that betta fish receive not only are they kept in cups, but the offerings for betta aquariums aren't adequate for their needs. It's shameful that people think fish can live in a half gallon of water. Petco is contributing to that belief by selling such aquariums.

Omg... Marquita was AWESOME!!! She could have turned me down.... got to the store about 2 minutes to 8pm not realizing they close at 8 until I got there.... she still helped me as if it were 2pm in the afternoon. Marquita very patient, helpful and educated me on what food, cage and toys to get our new adoptive puppy 🐶 Smokey. I will be returning. Thanks again for AMAZING service!!!

Went out of my way to come here. I finally made the decision to fork out the cash to buy a self cleaning litter box & PetCo had the best price. The guy who helped me (I should have gotten his name but didn't think to ask) was very helpful. The one I wanted was on the top shelf so he climbed the ladder to get it down for me. He also helped me to look it over since I was concerned that there would be some difficult assembly needed, but it was only a matter of attaching the ramp & sliding in the reciprocal tray (both very easy to do). I also found a particular style of shedding comb that I've been looking for at other places & never found, and started to think that they don't make those kind anymore, but I found it at PetCo! I got to the register & the litter box gave a much higher price than what it said online, but the guy at the register was very nice about it when I showed him the online price, he did an override to give me the lower price. I also signed up for the loyalty card, that should have given me another $5 off my purchase, but it wasn't going through. The guy at the register was very nice & patient with me, understanding that I was trying to save as much money as possible and got the first guy who helped me to do another override to get the extra $5 off. Both of these guys were so helpful, sweet & kind, they both deserve high praises. Only thing I would ask PetCo corporate is PLEASE bring a store to the Hilliard area & make sure to staff it with people as great as these guys!

I've been to this petco so many times and it's always been fine (nothing overwhelmingly above and beyond but also I've never had any issues) but today I went in with my partner to get some fish things and we had the most pleasant encounter with Paul who gave us an abundance of information on many plant things that my partner has been interested in trying with their tanks. He was incredibly nice and it was very sweet of him to drop so much knowledge on us. I don't think I've ever had a more pleasant experience at a chain pet shop like this before, so all in all, especially if you have fish questions, I highly recommend going here and asking for paul

Went to Petco in Lenox to get my fish tank back up and running. A worker by the name of Paul was extremely knowledgeable about fish and fish tank set ups. He got me some great plants and a couple of fish. He went above and beyond and I left knowing more about my fish tank. Thanks Paul!

Friendly Staff, The cages for the small animals were very clean! Would like to see proper cages for the hamsters and other rodents. I understand it's a corporate cage set up but the air flow is not proper for rodents. The size and information about cages is not accurate. Not stores fault but would love to see a difference eventually. Again not the stores fault, corporate has failed in this aspect for display purposes, not in actual proper care for the animal.

This review focuses on Petco’s grooming service. I used to bring my dog just about every month since I got him back in May of 2019. I felt like they did a job worthy of 5 stars! The reason I can’t give them 5 stars is because they reschedule your appointment without notice, cancel when it doesn’t work, and then don’t answer the phone or respond to messages. I appreciated Devon reaching out to get us rescheduled, but was unable to speak at that time. I called back a few times and never got anyone. I’ll really miss this grooming location. Really great if you can get in!! ***updating. we were able to schedule AND KEEP an appointment within a week. jeff was great as always. speedy and my dog looks amazing.

The plaza this store was located in had plenty of curb cuts, handicapped spots, and additional parking. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to customers. Most of the aisles were wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair user except for some of the aisles against the store's walls that seemed cluttered. The check out counter was at an accessible height and the doors were wide, but I did not see an automatic opening button and one of these doors was locked.

I took my two dogs to be groomed by Emily today. I have taken my dogs to other places and have been very disappointed. Emily did an amazing job on both of my boys!!! I will not take them anywhere else. Thank you Emily!! My boys thank you too!!!!

Decent, recently started going there after going to another place for a few years. I have rabbits and Petco is the only place I can physically buy the Science Selective brand and also the American Diner hay which my buns love. Also with the membership the price on litter is the cheapest I can find. I do find these sorts of large pet places rather dreary and depressing, I don't like seeing the lonely caged animals but they have the supplies my two rescue buns need.

You gotta believe in all good reviews here about the amount of supplies for pets and how friendly customer service is. They really are. That's why I didn't understand what happened to me and my cat today. I have an adopted cat, who, due to, probably, her history of being abandoned, lost a bit of patience with us, humans. We couldn't win her trust to, for instance, clip her nails. So, we thought it would be a good idea to bring her to the professionals at Petco to do that job, since they are equipped and prepared to do it. We even called in advance and explained the situation, in which they insisted their pet groomer was pretty good, even in these cases. For my surprise, not even a minute after I left her with the professional to trim her nails, while I was at the register, another employee came running to say the pet groomer had "tapped out" to my cat (who has only 10 pounds). I mean, seriously... After spending 25 dollars with two uber trips I ended up with no service and an employee who gave up on us without having an option (such as sedation, nozzles, better restriction tools...) for that situation? Come on... As a solution, we're going to take her to her veterinarian, who is more experienced, but also expensive. I hope that what happened with us, at least, teach them to be more straightforward about the services provided. Otherwise, other people might lose their time and money.

We have been going to PetCo for a few months now. The staff is very kind and very responsive to any issues encountered during the grooming. Our dog ended up having difficulties while she was being groomed and they quickly took her to a medical center, got everything sorted out, and the manager waited with us until our dog was released from the center. I would recommend this location to anyone that needs grooming on a regular basis as they are truly the best option we have found anywhere near here. Truly above and beyond service!

I love this store and I love shopping for my dog. I wish this store offered more of a selection for xsmall and hairless dogs. I know it is a very specific market but I would spend more $$ on a specific thing for hairless dogs because of the material she needs. (The nylon material on collars/harnesses irritates her skin if left on for long periods of time.)

I tend to have a love/hate relationship with pet stores: on one hand it's one-stop shopping for your pet needs, but on the other, the staff can be indifferent at best and the prices tend to be prohibitively high. Petco does a lot to counter that Hulk in me with staff friendliness right off the bat... there is a consistently welcoming vibe, and they can back it up with product knowledge. I have yet to stump them with the most esoteric of questions. Also, their stores are very pet-friendly: not only do they allow leashed animals into the store (which is important for the customer to size items properly) but staff is quick to offer attention, treats and toys to my dog. Naysayers can call that blatant salesmanship, but all I know is that it gets her tail wagging. Petco consistently has what I need, when I need it, and you'd think that given my love for Amazon and online shopping, what's not to love their Amazonian free shipping over $35 policy? But I do love the store and its staff, so there is something for that brick and mortar presence. Their pet grooming services are a nice plus and an obvious reason for a store visit. The only thing that keeps Petco out of the four-star category for me is their overall pricepoint. To be fair, in the world of pet store retail, they are actually pretty fair, but compared to big chain department stores and online vendors, they could be more competitive. But if you take advantage of their Petco Rewards system and their advertised specials, you can come out about even. In my eyes, it's probably a fair tradeoff for the convenience factor.

Pleasant experience most of the time. Only issue is that some of the staff can tend to be pretty apathetic. I don't need a big show that corporate likes to see (nobody likes being forced to do that), but a little more effort to be friendly goes a long way in the experience. The majority of the front end are very friendly and make a good effort at building a rapport in small chat. Regardless of that, it's still the location I always prefer to go to when possible. They keep up with supply and I'm always able to find what I need.

Every time I go to PetCo (and we have a variety of pets, so we're there a lot!), I get such friendly service! I remember one of the cashiers, I think his name was Dorian, greeted me in a warm way and asked me how my day was going. I was feeling frazzled, and that simple comment was such a ray of sunshine. Our dog regularly gets his nails trimmed there, and I have always experienced professional and caring staff.

No complaints, staff is generally friendly. Store has most of the selection we'd like, though they don't carry the Oxbow Adult Rat food we'd like them to, so we end up going to another shop just for that. Only reason it's 4 instead of 5 stars.

My girlfriend and I stopped in here for some pet food, the selection was good which is important because out 10 year old Labrador, Candy, has a consistent issue with vomiting with most foods. We've looked into it the best we can but ultimately it's avoidable with the right food. This location is super convenient considering we live in the neighborhood right next to Lennox, and I'm always happy to come in here and actually find what we need in a relatively small store. The customer service could be a bit more welcoming and friendy but beyond that, it's a nice place to go.

Very nice place I went there to see if they had dogs but I was not aware that they do not sell pure-breeds they partner with local shelters I believe. They have rabbits snakes goldfish in a typical pet store Fair they did not have fish antibiotics which is the reason I went to go look I was looking for a very specific brand is very well-known and they did not have any of them They Carried almost none. Which is a little upsetting but for toys food grooming supplies. Treats and others it's the perfect place to go

This isn't usually the store that we use. We needed some cat food and we're close by. Pets in and out of the store all day or at least I would assume so. This place is very clean. I love the Olentangy store's large selection and HELPFUL employees!!! My kitten has been having issues with chewing on random things. I went to a pet supply store closer to where I live to see if I could find a cat chew toy. I found a small cat toy selection - none of them met my needs. The employees suggested a look in the dog section; but, I went Petco instead. I found exactly what I was looking for! In fact, many different types of materials to promote healthy chewing. The BEST part of this trip is the cashier finally fixed the issue with my rewards card. My phone number was never tied to my account and all other Petcos told me I had to fix it myself. I was debating if I wanted to go through the hassle to have my rewards be looked up by my name. I'm so glad I did! The cashier told me she could add my number in store! She took my receipt and hand entered my reward # and updated my phone number! For 6+ months I was told this was not an option by other stores. Now I'm happy, my kitten is happy and this Petco is now my favorite pet supply store!

It has a large variety of fish and pet keeping supplies, I would not recommend buying reptiles from them because of the way I have seen them be treated. I would recommend doing research about animals before purchasing them from Petco because the information given to employees there is not always correct, and doing research about animals before you get them is very beneficial for your sake and the animals.

My cats we're having a really hard time with our recent move to a new home and the ladies at this Petco helped me so much. I LOVE this Petco. Primarily because of the puppy classes. Alex, the trainer, is SO great. He really has a passion for his work and you can tell each class. He took the time to work with us one on one and really helped us with our training. Each week we had numerous questions and he always had the perfect solution for our unique needs. I definitely recommend going to the puppy classes if you have a dog - young or old. Alex is really great!

Petco basically has everything that you could need to take care of animals such farm animals. staff is friendly and you can generally always see a cute puppy or Kitty while you're in there as well as look at other fish and birds. They have all sorts of stuff you can get crickets for your lizards worms you name it they probably have it. Also they have a grooming service in the back for your puppy if you want that.

I was in a bind for cat food on a Friday night. I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman that helped me, but he was great. I originally did not ask for his help, because I poorly assumed he wouldn't be able to provide me an answer. Once, I did ask him for help, he was very helpful. I poorly assumed the associates did not know much or anything about the food they carry. I was looking for cat food with certain a percentage of carbs, protein, and fat, and he knew which one to go to immediately. Thank you again!

This is the only Petco west of 71 that sells aquatic life and the only LFS that sells marine animals near OSU. Their freshwater water selection is not as varied as other chains but the prices are competitive. I have yet to meet one person that is the "fish guy/gal" but half the staff has a good basic understanding of aquatic pet care. Although they may not be knowledgeable (two employees didn't know the difference between tetras and barbs) their customer service is quite good.

One of the best Petco stores I've been to. They have a great reptile supply selection. They stock fruit flies for feeding small reptiles and many other bugs that you can't find at most chains (definitely not petsmart). They even have dubia roaches and nightcrawlers.

we bought a beta that IS still alive 2 years ago. we also took our dog howie here to be groomed which he lived until he passed away bc of a smaller than normal liver, this was the only place he loved going. now we take our 1 year old patches here and he loves it, this is his 3rd time going so he is still learning and they all love him and treat him very good. as a pet owner you have to be patient and just go with the flow and not micro manage everything.
