We absolutely loved our time here. It was actually our first time to stay at a State Park, so all others will definitely have something to live up too! The sunsets over Lake Ontario were spectacular and the lake as a backdrop was pretty nice. It’s a great ‘home base’ to launch from if you’re in the area to go visit any of the local sites and especially Niagara Falls. The weather was pretty perfect most days, but did get a bit warmer on a couple of them, so having a 30amp electric site was nice. Everyone we met here was super friendly and it was an all around enjoyable stay.

Beautiful campground. Site 252 has access to a very nice overlook and not far from the bathroom. Very spaced out, clean bathrooms, no one bothers you and level sites. Small camp store. So close to Niagara as well. Definitely recommend for a getaway.
Jim Pfarr
This is a spacious and open park with a amazing view of Lake Ontario, and you can see Toronto across the lake. The showers are nice and clean, as is pretty much everything about this park. There is electric at quite a few sites which is nice. Located very close to Fort Niagara, and you can get free parking on Goat Island if you tell them you're camping here.

Beautiful but Crowded Campground. We stayed in 271 for 2 days and it was just perfect. We had trees on our campsite(which we checked on google map before booking). Washrooms are pretty clean. Hot water is available. We took a dip in Lake Ontario as well while watching the beautiful sunset. Sunset point is behind washroom of 100 loop. We left our tent and beds at the site while exploring the place and it was there when we came back. So its safe to leave behind your stuff. Surely staying here whenever visiting niagara.

I love camping here! Some sites are somewhat private & spacious, while others are open & close together. Some are shady while others are not. The grass was cut short. I stayed in the 200’s and had a semi-private & level electric site. No skunks to be seen. The facilities were clean. The sunsets are amazing! Everyone gathers in the field to watch. On a clear day, you can see the Toronto skyline! I will definitely camp here again!

Best campground on our trip!! Would stay here again and highly recommend to others. Great price, very large spots, not over run by rowdiness. Mostly families and older folks. Clean bathrooms and super nice ladies in the office. I love that near sunset time everyone brings their chairs to the overlook area to watch the sunset and we all cheer when the sun goes down. Most amazing views!! All paved roads. Wonderful area to walk. They even mow paths in the wild grass area and there are trails thru the woods. I highly enjoyed hikes here!! There is a camp store, Open pretty limited hours. Not far to many local attractions. Totally worth staying here for peace and quiet!!

Beautiful and friendly. Right on the Lake, with some great views. Close to Niagara Falls and get to enter for free with the Park Pass you purchase to stay here. Best campground pizza ever! The staff was friendly and helpful.
Jenn Grubbs
The 100 loop is lacking in trees and nature. The add should say: tent camp in a soccer field next to a playground. Why so much mowing? Contributing to global warming and the decline of butterflies and bees. I could just mow my lawn and camp at home with more trees and nature. Showers are a bonus but could use a cleaning on the walls and the handicap chair, lots of mold. Don't count on the camp store, it's just not open ever. Nice sunset views at the lake. The camp parking ticket got us parking access at the Niagra falls and the other state park areas like Fort Niagara.
Robert Hayes
This is one of if not the best campground we have stayed at. It Is quite. Spots are big. Lots of open spaces. Great place to stay. Half hour drive to falls. But worth it.
Anthony Gates
It’s a such a wonderful campsite. There’s some awesome hiking trails near Niagara river as well. Fort Niagara has a pretty cool historical tour. Definitely an experience I will never forget! (╹◡╹)♡💖 …

Great location for going to the Falls. Cross border at Lewistown-Queenston bridge. Visited Canadian side. Much better views and ambiance for seeing the falls on Canadian side. Need to use ArriveCan app, a bit of a challenge to cross border. Loved Niagara on the Lake historic downtown. Rode bike path along Niagara River Rim from free parking area at Whirlpool State Park to Niagara Falls , NY.
Also visited Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens. Pricey $26/pp US, but parking only $6/day. Was worth it. Thought Maid of the Mist ride wasn't worth the high cost. Parking around Canadian falls is $30/day in lots. Loved dining at Table Rock restaurant with view of Canadian falls and great gourmet food at fairly reasonable prices. In old downtown Niagara Falls Ontario we highly recommend the Grand Central Bar and Grill. Fabulous Grand Central burger and chicken/spinach wrap.
The campground is well maintained and other campers friendly and thankfully quiet. Great sunset view on Lake Ontario from the northern edge of campground in registration office part of campground. Cute camp store, but closed except Thursday through weekend when we were here in September 2022. Spacious, level campsites on grass. Happy camping!
Erin Fegley
Really excellent campground with wonderful views. The lake breeze was perfect for sleeping on a hot summer night. Camp sites are generously large and amenities were in great, clean shape. I drained my car battery (twice!!) and got a jump-start from the friendly park staff each time.
Our family will definitely be coming back here!
Marlene MacVane
Beautiful park on the lake. A great place to watch the sunset on the water, and apparently you can watch the sunrise on the water from the other side of the park but i wasn't out that early. The woman in the camp office gave great advice on things to do in the area. We stayed in a yurt, which was nice, clean, air conditioned, and had a fridge and microwave. One word of warning, dont expect to have mobile internet or phone service. It is very hit and miss. Do your planning before you get to the park or expect to take a drive (or walk around the park and hope to get lucky), if you want to search the internet or even make a call. There are pay phones but they were not hooked up when we were there. I think there is an emergency phone on the outside of the office, but don't quote me on that.
Karly Nelson
Very friendly staff at check in. I camped with a tent. My site felt big and my neighbors were close but not invasively close. Restrooms were clean and showers were big enough to move in with a bench to set your stuff down. I stayed 3 nights and saw campsite rangers and local police patrol through regularly.
Patrick Ferrier
Beautiful campground. Definitely worth the trip! But get your store needs before hitting up your site. The privately owned camp store was open for maybe 8 hours of our one week trip.
debbie bieniek
Nice State Park for Camping. Very quite and nice trails and easy to walk. Great view of Lake Ontario and Canada on a clear day. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Hope to come back next year.
Luke Waelder Fun in the Sun
This is why we keep coming back here this place is amazing the deer walk right through your campsite yes buggy at night in the summer bringing it screened and enclosure for night time enjoyment and check out the fort a lot of history just inside this park and Savannah's right nearby recommend you check out Savannah Google cookout then Google ice cream shop they're both on your way back to the campground at the ice cream shop try the dollwhip pineapple or watermelon the ice cream shop is in Publix parking lot around to the left of the main entrance back to the campground with a full tummy sit and watch the deer at dusk
Jeremey Henries
Very beautiful and family friendly state park for camping. Not too far from Niagara Falls. Plus is if you stay here you can get into Niagara Falls for free.
Skiyea Nieves
Absolutely beautiful, clean grounds. Close to Niagra Falls. Safe and friendly environment. Has everything you need! Love this campground!
John Roberts
The view of Lake Ontario and the Canadian skyline was beautiful from our site. Clean bathrooms and showers, friendly and helpful staff! The have some electric sites along the lake, potable water is along the road at three locations prior to setting up at your site.
The Oracle
A good place to take the kids camping. The park has a large playground and is right on the lake. The view was nice but the sites are very close to each other. The bathrooms feature nice hot showers and laundry facilities.
Cassandra K
Stayed on two different sites, both were level side to side and much larger than any other NY state park we've stayed at. While none if the sites are private, site 206 had excellent shade. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest, but we only used them for showers. Beautiful sunsets over Lake Ontario. There is a rocky beach you can swim in 25m away at Wilson Tuscarora SP (free admission 2021) or paid swimming pool at Fort Niagara SP which we decided wasn't worth it. Free parking to all other SP through duration of stay. Will definitely stay here again to visit the area.
Melissa McNabb
I loved my visit and cannot wait to come back next year. Bathrooms were close by, had hot water and were maintained throughout the day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Late arrival protocol in place. The camp store hours weren't as camper friendly, but we just planned ahead and got our stuff early.
Next time I'll ask where local stores are outside the park.
Nice view of lake Ontario. Rain caused us to miss sunset/sunrise.
Tmobile reception is terrible in the park. But hit or miss by the bathrooms so wasn't completely without.
(4 stars due to hours of camp store only - many campgrounds are open late for firewood and snacks)
kyle goodwin
Beautiful and affordable state park camping. Clean and well kept bathrooms, campsites, and roadways with plenty of parks to entertain your kids. A beautiful view of the Toronto Skyline can be seen across lake Ontario at the waterfront in the park. My favorite state park to visit in all of western New York.
Accounting Department
Niagara falls was worth the stay; campsites were nice but not level. The lake is beautiful and a small hike gets incredible views. Staff was kind, courteous and actively helpful when we sank in the dirt from all the rain it gets there. Thank you!
No cell service until you get back to towns.
Rachel Cowle-Healy (Adventures in Pop-Ups)
WOW!! We loved our stay, hope to make it back someday! Nice, large sites, we were in 79, with a gorgeous view of Lake Ontario, 🤩 Best sunsets ever. Nice playground across the street. The bathrooms were fine, the people were nice. Quiet and peaceful! FREE PARKING at Niagara Falls for being at a state park! Our visit was amazing, and we went to the Falls and other nearby things every day. Old Fort Niagara looks cool, just a few miles away. We will have a full review on your YouTube channel soon, Adventures in Pop Ups.

Four Mile Creek State Park is an excellent state park to camp. Especially if you plan on visiting Nigeria Falls. They give you a placard on your mirror for the campground which also gets you free parking at Nigeria Falls State Park and Goat Island. Both of which are an easy twenty minute drive from the campground. When selecting sites look over the description. The site I stayed in was 50' X 50' with lake view. When you first enter the campground those camp sites are close together. If you make a right after pulling in by the parking lot and drive down the road the campsites are larger. Some have a view of Lake Ontario, but some views are obstructed by trees or brush. Most sites have 30 amp elect service so if you have a 50 amp RV. You'll need a doggone adapter. There are many water filling stations through out the campground. Just watch for small 2' X 2' brick pillars that have the hose bibs. They also have a dump station. The park is well taken care of and clean. The handicap shower I used was missing a bracket to hold the shower head on the wall. In the parks description it said they had a farmers market. But when I asked the office staff, they said no. There's a small camp store with very little merchandise and some days not open. I highly recommend this state park.
Kathryn Swogger
The view of the sunset on lake Ontario makes it hard not to give 5 stars, regardless of the camping experience. BUT the camping experience was also great. We stayed in one of their 6 yurts and it was the perfect size for our family of 5. It was very clean (the whole campground was as well!). The AC did struggle to keep up with sunny August afternoons, but it cooled down by the time we went to bed.
All the amenities we took advantage of (laundry, showers, playground, camp store) were in good order and never too busy despite the campground being relatively full.
The employees that we talked with were all super helpful and friendly.
A Relloka
Nice view of Lake Ontario (however, it’s not as close as their website leads you to believe). We had a waterfront site but really it’s a field behind you then the lake and not your own personal space to the lake. However, you can’t beat the price and it is a beautiful campground.
Karen L
The yurts are fantastic. Spacious with full sized fridge, table and chairs, 6 bunks and a microwave. There are campsites close enough to have friends set up nearby. There is a huge open space nearby, which gives more room to play games and walk to the waterfront.
Taking away one star because yurts don't have bathrooms and the closest, although immaculate, bathrooms and showers were ridiculously far away.
Bev (NanaAdventures)
Site 238 was close to the restrooms and laundry. The central water stations do not have an area for you to pull off the road while you fill your fresh water tank. The lake front sites have nice views. Staff was very knowledgeable about the local area and friendly.
Bruce Douglass
This is a very clean, well managed family camping area. The lawns, roads and facilities were all in good condition. A large playground area is in the center. Fall asleep to wave sounds from the lake. Pro tip: Use the paid camping pass to park free at Goat Island Niagara Falls and Fort Niagara State Park.
Shane R.
Secluded right next to Lake Ontario and still very close to Niagara Falls. Clean campground and bathroom/showers. Nice little trail to the shoreline. Stock up on ice and essentials before you get there. Pretty far haul to a decent store and the camp store is not open Monday or Tuesday and I think Wednesday. Great family getaway
Chadd Smith
Awesome campground with large spots and amazing views. Highly recommend.
malla hart
One of the most beautiful state parks I have been to. Lovely large sites; easy walking paths..super clean and well kept
Rob Wickens
Amazing state park. Very well kept. Large spaces. Beautiful views of Lake Erie. Barely any cell service, Internet < 1 Mbps.
The scenic Parkway to reach the park is a bumpy mess, take Creek Rd - SR 18 in from Niagara Falls.
Lisa Klostermann
Nice campgrounds. Some sites are beautifully shady, others are a grass parking lot - look at site photos before booking.
Bathrooms are clean, there is one washer& dryer and a laundry sink.
T-Mobile service is awful. Zero service in the yurts. WiFi out there (and softer beds) would make the yurts worth it.
Peter B
Camped at spot 185, was an excellent experience. We had forest on two sides of our spot which was nice. Some spots are in the field so it pays to scout them out by comparing the map on their website and Google maps. Showers were nice and the bathroom area was generally kept very clean.
Geri Humphreys
Beautiful area. The camp sites are not crowded, we had a great time
James Gunsch
This is a massive campground with several hundred sites that are all adjoining. You are pretty much camping on top of other people. But there is a very spectacular sunset here over Lake Ontario. This campground is very well maintained bathrooms and showers are kept clean. There is a camp store, playground for the kids primitive as well as electric sites. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because how extremely close you are to others. There is no privacy here.great spot for RV camping. Not so much for tents.
Adam Boring
Beautiful views. Nice nature trail. Reasonable camp store. Wooded campsites available. Can gather fallen sticks as firewood or buy your own. Close to Lewiston which had a great coffee shop and BBQ place. Comfy little area. Close to Niagara falls. Would stay again!
William Stewart
A great place to camp. We had a site right next to the playground which it little one loved. Bathrooms were close by, including showers.
The shoreline is eroded, but there is a path that goes down to a stone beach. You can see Toronto shirts m across the water, about 30 miles away. The sunsets are breathtaking.
Didn't have much interaction with staff (which is sort of how it ought to be), but any time we did, they were pleasant.
We were there as part of a homeschool camping trip. Lots of fun. There is a pavilion near the lake which is great for large group gatherings.
We plan on returning next year.
Bernadette Richey
Great campground. Clean bathrooms and pleasant staff. Some sites are a bit close for my liking but if you stay on the outer loops you get a bit more privacy. They also have handicap sites which is nice.
Christina Swisher
Currently staying in 200 loop. Hot showers, not sure if previous posters were here during an issue with the plumbing or staying in the other loop. Four shower stalls and usually no wait. Nice and spacious sites, some with shade and some with all sun. We are in 215 and have a good bit of shade most of the day. Be sure to go to the pavilion behind the bathhouse in the 100 loop to watch the sunset on Lake Ontario. On a clear day you can see Toronto across the lake!
Robert Ochoa
Nice campground. Sites are pretty close together. The grass is nice too but there were some kind of bugs that tore us up. Bathrooms are ok, not the cleanest but also not the worse. Free showers were cool. We were in 119. Only had one shade tree so couldn’t really set up a hammock and the sun was kind of brutal the weekend of July 4th. Site 161 looked awesome. On the map looks like the 200s are close to the water but there is a tree line blocking the view. Niagara Falls firework show was awful. Only lasted 10 mins and thousands of people.
Carl Massart
No full hookup sites, however the bathhouse near our site 230ish was nice. Close to Fort Niagara and other Niagara gems. Your Park pass gets you in to all other N.Y. State Parks free! I would stay here again when doing the Falls. You can see the Toronto skyline across the lake.
Julie Thomas
Loved this place, when I was looking for a place I seen they had yurts but there wasn't very many pictures of them so here is some of yurt 3
Scott Scotson
This is a gorgeous location and a great place to camp near Niagara. Why spend a ton on a hotel when you can enjoy nature? Isn't that why most people come to Niagara? The site is quiet yet close to all the touristy stuff.
Amy
I really liked the setting and privacy of this campground. You can walk a little ways to the lake and see some beautiful sunsets. It’s also a short drive to everything in Niagara Falls. My biggest complaint is that they have a major skunk problem. Every night while sitting around the campfire, skunks would come out of the woods at our campsite and we’d have to beeline it out of their way. This happened all 3 nights we stayed. It made for a pretty stressful evening time. We stayed at campsite 37.
Jason M (The Happy Campers)
We enjoyed our time at this beautiful campground, which is close to Canada and Fort Niagara. This large campground is off Lake Ontario. Campground is about 20mins from border crossing and 10mins from Fort Niagara. Campsites are large, but located on grass or dirt. Roads and campsites are big rig friendly. Since this campground only provides electric, a dumping station and fresh water stations are available. Bathrooms & showers were clean. Small store was open during the weekend that includes firewood and some small grocery items. Verizon phones got weak 4g. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue. Campground includes a kid’s playground and large grass fields for camping games and picnics.
Our family is currently traveling this beautiful country via RV style, and have been RV'ing for many years. Therefore, we have an idea between high-standard qualities and poor quality. We utilize Trip Advisor and Google to assist us on locating top attractions, tasty restaurants and exciting locations within our wonderful country. Follow our adventure via Facebook; “Happy Campers 227”.
Ann Perno
We went here to try out our new tent. It's a nice campground, clean facilities, large sites, and a spectacular sunset. We stayed at site 185, which was private except for all the hikers passing through due to the mud on the trail. After dark, the skunks came through, be warned, they're around all night!
Kevin T
Can be muddy and wet on some/lot of sites during early season. Be nice if they would improve roads... irrigation and add gravel to rv sites. Is very convenient to many attractions and day tripping Canada.
Edward Hobbs
Nice quiet campground. Great view of the lake. Close to the Falls. Wonderful bathroom/shower. Thank you state of New york for providing us with a wonderful place to park our camper van .
Elizabeth Hinkley
Loved the close location to the falls and Canada! Good facility, coin laundry available. Lots of families, kids, and fun! 1 star off due to the lack of supervision by staff - quiet hours were not enforced, several teens were clearly drinking and the water spigots and showers were sparse for the amount of campsites packed in.
I would definitely come again though! I would use it for family get-togethers or to stay when we want to day trip into Canada mostly.
Sine Nomine
A wonderful little hideaway right on lake Ontario. Far enough 'out' that you feel as though you've gone somewhere. But not so far out that you can't access a gas station or grocery store within a 10-15 minute drive. Highly recommend!
Jessica Jacobs
What a cute and great place to stay! The staff was super friendly helping us as we didn’t have a reservation and they made sure they gave us the coolest campsites available back to back so we could fit our whole crew. It was only $27 per campsite, and they have a general store on site.
Shannon LaBarre
The sites are nice and large. Reserve America is misleading, the sites are not gravel, which makes for a messy campsite the day after rain. The bathrooms are clean. The lake is amazing and the fire pits are clean.
Jeanine Sidells
Great sites! Laundry facilities came in very handy. Beautiful scenery!
Eric Lockman
Huge grass sites that are pretty solar friendly. Large playground, warm clean showers, water spigots and garbage dumpsters dispersed throughout the campground. Friendly staff, and beautiful views of the lake. No beach access, but the camping permit allows you entry into other parks for a beach and a pool.
turtlespinning
Lovely state park on the lake. Beware of pulling a travel trailer along the scenic parkway it's rough and bouncy! We could not even go the speed limit. 18 is a smoother option as of Aug. 2022.
Charles Howse
Great park! Right on the lake, easy trip to Niagara Falls. Beautiful campsites, lots of room and lots of shade, with huge open areas.
Theresa Rice
We just had dinner at the picnic area, although we would have stayed if advance reservations weren't required.
Jan Ingerson
This is a great park. Site 74 is nice and level and across from bath house. Tent sites are near by along with other RV sites. Camp here every year on other sites and have never had an issue.
Rudy Burruss
We absolutely love this park, so spacious.and open. The views are breathtaking, and lots to do. Not to mention you're 10 minutes from history "Old Fort Niagara" + 20 minutes from the Falls.
Beth Knoblauch
Beautiful park, unfortunately lots of construction around the area at the moment. Small camp store with some essentials. Can buy firewood down the road average bundles about 3/$10. Site 218 was little sloped to get into with a larger unit, but manageable. Great place to stay for the money, especially if you're not going to be at campground alot. Close to Falls, but out of hustle of the tourist attractions.
Jennifer DiRenzo
Beautiful and clean place. Staff is extremely helpful. Amazing view of sunset!
Amanda Brewer
Nice spot on Lake Ontario. State Land is gorgeous. Breathtaking sunset views, clean showers. Take something for shade! Trees are on outer edges only.
Jamie Higgins
The most beautiful place with peaceful, gorgeous views of Lake Ontario and Toronto. I fell in love with it. Niagara Falls is 20 minutes down the street. I definitely recommend and will be back again!
Trish Sewell
The park is beautiful. The sites are large and spacious. The restrooms are a little worn. The view of Lake Ontario is beautiful. There is no beach at the park and you can't swim. If I lived closer I would definately frequent this campground.
Diana Merz
I stay here every year for a week at a time . The camp ground is great.the staff is very friendly. The camp ground has a small store. Very clean and has
everything you may forget . Friendly there too gave me ideas of what to do that maybe be different .
Sherry Mattingly
Had spot #83 Very good spacious level lots. No shade at this spot...Across from playground and bath house about 6 sites down. We had a direct view of lake Onterio with awesome sunsets. Bring your chairs walk over to the lake and just breath!! Signs say do not get in the water but most folks did with their kids.. Waves can be choppy but
It's a short rocky beach and fun to explore.. you can see canada on a clear day. We stayed 5 nights. Did an awesome tour of the falls with "See sight tours Niagara Falls" ask for Eric to be your guide, he was awesome and very informative. Happy travels y'all, stay safe and healthy out there!! 😊
Todd Conley
Nice place to camp. Some sites have lake views . Near Niagara falls . Playground for kids . Some electric hookup and water available but not for permanent hook up. No sewer but has dumping stations
Justin Burrell
Large campground. Grounds were clean and manicured. Bathrooms were standard. Paths along water were great. Way better than staying at the Erie KOA. Will visit again and stay at 4 mile creek state park.
Heida Swan
Great experience. With one exception. The camp store, which isn't run by the campground, was awful. Never open when they're supposed to be, would close early. Really sucked to have to drive 10-15 minutes one way every day to get ice & firewood. The shop keep was rude. Hopefully the campground will replace that shop lease. Other than that the campground was excellent.
Michele Playter
We go camping every year I love it there and they have friendly stuff
Rick Hancock
Beautiful State Park on Lake Ontario. Spacious level sites, clean well maintained shower house. Staff was helpful with all questions, park related or not.
Vincent L Morello Jr
They are overpopulated with skunks we had five skunks come in our campgrounds in 1 nights we stayed there a three nights total of 22 skunks people where getting sprayed along with there dogs
Andrew Parisi
Beautiful place, nice facilities, lots of room in each campsite. There are trails that lead to and run along the water. It is less than a 15 minute drive to Niagra Falls State Park. We stayed two nights here and had no problems.
Marcel Bain
This park was pretty cool. We camped there spur of the moment. The staff were really and genuinely nice. There was a movie in the back of the store outside. They have lots of of parks and plenty of children around that my daughter made a couple friends. It was all in all really cool.
candy giles
Loved our location but some people don't have respect of not walking through your campsite or stand in your view of the lake that we paid dearly for
Kayla Sylvester
Lovely campground. Good sized sites with electric, relatively clean showers/bathrooms, two playgrounds, view of the lake... All for a good price too
Jac B
It's a 4th of July week vacation for us 🏕️. We got to camp on Sunday, set up for the week of fun!! We have been Tent camping at four mile creek now 3 years. It's great for us, we always stay in the 300 loop area we got our fire pit for grilling, the bathrooms are close walking, clean with Hot water showers and bathrooms are always well maintained. I never heard any craziness like parties being loud, I will say the only thing I can take notice of is that new campers still don't know the rules of putting your food away and off the tables because at night it's an open house for the skunks and raccoons ‼️😬 You get into any NY state parks as long as you show them your camping vehicle ID, the little paper you get. Plus you can go to the beach and big swimming pool just down the road from the campground. There's alot to do in the area around the campground or adventure anywhere else.
deohgee magnet
Great park one of the cleanest state parks I have stayed. Was hear early in the week and it was very nice and quiet. Make sure to walk up by the lake and check out the stars. Close to all the sights.
Kimberly Gilbert
Love this park for camping! The sites are big, 50'x50' on average, the bathrooms are super clean and the water pressure is amazing! The staff is great; helpful and friendly, too.
Robin North
We only visited for the day but the park is lovely with nice campsites and a fantastic view of Lake Ontario.
Leigh Murtha
Great site size. Quiet. Lots of grass and nicely paved roads. Everything here seems well kept and the staff here are very nice. We'll definitely be back
Rich Reilly
Very nice start to our vacation. Clean, friendly, and hugh! Great sites!
Less than a half hour to Niagara Falls.
Diane Lind
Beautiful park. Very quiet while we were there. Clean restrooms and laundry
Darlene
Beautiful, spacious and clean! Would definitely stay here again.
Colten Swan
Campground was great. If they'd just replace the camp store with a different operator it'd be even better. They were never open when they're hours said they would be. Sucked to take a half hour every day to get firewood and ice elsewhere.
Ryan Moore
Crowded and busy but such a nice place. Great sunset view. Good bathrooms and showers. Friendly staff. Great playground.
Jackie Mackillop
Nice park, quiet, large sites. Playgrounds for kids, fishing, sunsets. Good location for Niagara falls
Lisa Brumale
Great staff. Very clean, great location and beautiful sunset near the river. will definitely visit again.
James Sunday
Big campground some nice spacious spots non electric and 30 amp electric u have to fill with water at designated areas, and u can see toronto and a freighter for under 30dollars.
rini simon
Love the place, a very quite get away that with a beautiful lake view. More like a open ground so you can actually see what your neighbors. Very close to the falls. Love watching the sunset on the lake one of the best places to see the sunset.
William Dale
The best quality campground I've ever stayed at. We camped in a tent, it was nice to have a flat spot in the grass to set up. The bathrooms were clean and my daughter had lots of other children to play with.
Lynn Gloss
Nicest workers. Make you feel like family
Camp store lacks alot. Wood is 8.25 a bundle
DINO G.
Just the drive-thru haven't stayed there for no extended time. but it does look nice. Hope to spend some time there!
Jason Fitzgerald
Nice place, clean and the views are awesome. Aside from kids on the playground till all hours of the night, a nice place.
Ryan Miller
Great camping. Easy to access. Clean campsites. Clean bathrooms. Free, warm showers. Hard to beat. Thank you to all make this a reality.
We could hear the waves crashing against the shore throughout the night. This was pleasurable for me, but if you're noise-sensitive I'd choose a site farther away from the shore.
Kristi P
We go every year for my daughters soccer tournament! Beautiful campgrounds.
Steven (RAD)
Really amazing park... I absolutely love this place!
Jimmy Mann
Nice sights, big and easy access. Very clean showers and restroom.
Jasmin
Great location, clean facilities. Camp store available too. Big sites! Lots of space.
Jessica Williams
So beautiful. Worth the drive super close to the lake and the campsites are worth every cent. Remember to pack in pack out.
Suzanne Dean
Great park with nice sized sites. The skunks are definitely a problem....just be aware.
Makayla Wiedenhoeft
Beautiful views on the lake! Office and camp store employees were friendly. Nicest bathrooms/showers I've ever used at a campground!
Theresa Flood
The campground is beautiful and the sites are really big. Great views of the lake and Toranto!
Thomas Blackmer
Nice park with good space. Beach access but no sand all rocks. Good for rock hounding.
VANESSA Lenzmeier
This is a beautiful campsite area. The bathrooms are nice and it's right on the lake. My only frustration with the New York Parks is that you have to go through a third party to make the reservations. We only wanted to stay one night but you are required to book a minimum of two nights. So, we ended up paying a lot more for a campsite because we had to pay for two nights then we should have.
Andrea Galyn
Beautiful well kept park on the shores of Lake Ontario. Amazing sunsets. Most campsites are spacious, and shady. Some have gorgeous views of the lake. Unfortunately no WiFi and cell phone reception was spotty. The bathhouses are clean and well maintained. The camp store has the essentials plus some treats and friendly staff. Quiet hours are enforced allowing for a very peaceful camping experience. Nice, friendly, polite and quiet vibe. Have been going for years. It would be so excellent if they could grant access to the water. That would make it the best campground East of the Mississippi!
Dexter Williams
Close to Niagara. Clean campsite and nice amenities. Would stay there again.
Rick Faulkner
Well maintained state park in north western New York. Beautiful scenery, a great view of Lake Ontario, with a view of the Toronto skyline. We have camped extensively in state parks, national parks and national forests in Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia. New York state parks are about the best. Couldn't be happier with our time in this park.
ann janik
So peaceful and a wonderful place to spend time with family. My only complaint is I never know how to book the spots I want (number 85 and 87) for 2023. I've been trying for 3 years for the 4th of July
Patrick Bell
Beautiful park, level spots, quiet, my vote for the best showers in a campground.
Mark Kastner
Very large park. Accommodating staff. Nice experience.
Justin Lewandowski
This state park is not bad, as far as campgrounds go. The three star rating comes from it being a state park camp ground. If this was a small koa it would have most likely received a higher score. It is very small. It is right on lake Ontario but there is no swimming allowed in the park and there are not many good fishing spots, or. No docks or piers. The camp sites are decent size and open, there are lots of playgrounds for children. No hiking to really speak of, but the staff was nice and courteous. Good location though for adult entertainment ie. Close to Lewiston, art park, and fort Niagara.
Patty Jones
Highly recommended very clean huge campsites missing a star because I didn't see any garbage other than the dumpster at checkout and with they had doggie poop bags around
Justin Wohl
Well maintained campgrounds on the shore of Lake Ontario. Not much of a place to swim from, but the views are beautiful and the location is convenient for other activities in the region - we stayed here in conjunction with a visit to Niagara Falls.
I was especially pleased with how well the bathrooms were cleaned - COVID sanitization protocols or not, every time I went in everything was wiped down and stress-free to use.
Robert Webster
This place is beautiful, quiet, family oriented. The facilities are clean and kept up. Can't say enough about it. It's a six-star park
Daisha West
Spacious campsites with trees, clean bathrooms, drinking water, & helpful staff.
Loreece Muehleisen
The campground is beautiful. Lots of grassy sites for tents and RVs. No swimming but you can walk somewhat on the rocky beach. Very nice playground.
We stayed in Yurt #2. It has a refrigerator/freezer, AC/Heater, microwave, 2 dressers, table with benches, 3 bunk beds (1 with a futon on the bottom). The bunk beds were not too comfy. It has NO access to running water inside or out. Which I really wish it had. At least an outdoor spigot. I also wish it had more shelves or hooks.
The washroom seems updated and is nice for campground showers. There is also a laundry area that you pay around $2 each for washer and dryer and a big sink to wash dishes.
Signal for cell phones was weak around yurts but better around bathrooms.
We definitely enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the location for visiting Niagara Falls. We would return if we came up that way.
I would give it 5 stars if beds were more comfy and if it had running water at the yurt.
Sarah Stephan
Nice campground. Great place to stay to see Niagara sites. Camping pass gets you free parking at all NY state park including Niagara Falls. No area for swimming, good area to see Lake Ontario.
Jeremy Fetzner
Pretty nice for a NY State campground. Bathrooms were clean, grounds were well maintained, campsites well marked, playground was serviceable, plenty of trees/shade for the majority of the sites and pleasant staff. I would like to see more a "swim at your own risk" rather than swimming prohibited signs. The rangers didn't bother any of us swimmers so turning the blind eye might be more the policy... which I hope it is. Nice little campground, price is right for about $26 per night (early Aug2018) with electric. Kids loved catching lots of sun fish, blue gill and perch from the creek. Would stay here again.
Michael Buckingham
This is a really nice State Park with beautiful views on Lake Ontario. It is close enough to Niagara Falls, but also far enough away from the big crowds.... I think it only took us around 15 to 20 minutes to get there. We loved walking down to the lake shore each night to watch the sunset!! The pads were gravel and grass, but easy to back into. There were not too many restrooms, but they were clean and functional. We would recommend this campground.
Xinkai Kong
Great experience! Big size (for tent camping), flat and clean, close to the lake. Very convenient to watch sunset. Water stations, public restrooms and shower rooms are close by. Clean, and hot water is good. Less than 30 minutes of drive to Niagara Falls. We also visited the Old Niagara Fort just a few minutes away. One bonus is free access to all NY state parks (including Niagara Falls State Park and quite a few other state parks nearby) with the camping tag. Probably will be back.
N Hinton
Stayed here 3 nights. Staff was average friendliness, some were nice, some were not. Campsites were very large which was great. Bathrooms were average campsite bathrooms. Not totally filthy but not exactly clean either. Beautiful areas by the lake. We wish the park would enforce the quiet hours better. We had rowdy neighbors that stayed up half the night yelling, singing, drinking and blaring music. We called the park police police who said they would come but they never did and we didn't get much sleep. :(
Samantha Calvillo
I can't wait to come back!!!! I've never had such a smooth camping experience. The view of lake Ontario was breathtaking and the people we camped around were SO friendly. We were close enough to the falls, but far enough away we didn't get hit with all the other tourists traffic at the campsite. Very relaxing, showers and restrooms were clean. Note: Water pressure is serious in those showers, and the curtains weren't to the floor. If you set your clothes too close to the actual shower stall, they will get sprayed. Lol. Have fun!!!
Shelby McPherson
Four Mile Creek is a good place to stay if you are looking to be close to Niagara Falls. We stayed 2 nights and went to the falls twice. The trip is about a 20-25 minute drive. The campground has really nice bathrooms that were kept very clean. There is not a lot to do in the campground itself. The sites were mostly big and open. Also this campground was very quiet when we stayed there which was nice.
SIRIPASTRA CHARUVASTRA EL SHAZLI
Great campground near Niagara Falls. The campsite we stayed (site 300) is spacious and shaded for the whole day. My kids love it and they had so much fun running around and they have playground just right across my spot. Bathroom was the cleanest one that I have ever been to state parks! Every single times I went to the bathroom, always clean! The view of the lake is beautiful and the water is clear. My kids jumped in the water, skipped rocks. We had a really good time here and high recommend for family camping. The freeway to go to the falls is right in front t of the park. It took us about 20 minutes to get there. They have decent shopping spots for groceries/gas/food etc. in Lewiston town center, on the way to the falls about 10-15 minutes away from campground.
Carolyn LeCroy
BEAUTIFUL fall colors along Lake Ontario. Sites around 248 have more space between campsites. In the rest of the park the campers are on top of each other. Between colors and our site privacy, this was a perfect weekend. Behind our campsite you can walk to the cliffs that once had a beach.
Lisa Kirk
Its 1 of my favorite places to go camping right on the shores of lake Ontario. I luv being right on prime area there, you can see the outlne of the skyline in Toronto, canada & also the beautiful sail boats drifting down the lake or the jet skies that makes doughnuts in the water. There are trails to walk on. The scenery is just so peaceful & serene.
Kathleen Colello
Would recommend this camp a million times over. Actually decided to stay an extra day because it was so peaceful. Camped under a willow tree on the 300side of the camp. The front and water sides were packed with people and RVs. There was water spigot access everywhere and the bathrooms were extremely nice for a campground. Nice camp store with some basics. If you stay here, you get free parking at Niagara (huge plus as parking there can be upwards of $20). Dog friendly as long as they are leashed.
Andrea Louise Rataj
Great little State Park! There isn't much privacy, but the views of the lake are beautiful. We scored one of the only tent-only sites that was quite nice. They have a decent camp store and good bathrooms. The staff here were super friendly and went out of there way to help us pick a spot.
Greg Kopish
4.5 Stars. This is a fine campground. The sites are reasonably large, many with 30-amp hook-ups. Restrooms are reasonably clean (fair number of cobwebs in the men's room) and the shower stalls appear to have been recently refurbished. It is located just off of the Niagara Scenic Parkway, which gives you leisurely access to other parks (12 miles to Niagara Falls SP) in the area. Another bonus is your camping registration tag gets you free parking at the other state parks. We were here in the off season so the camp store was closed so there was no firewood for purchase in the park. When asked where we could buy firewood, the office staff told us to check for private individuals selling firewood along the roadside. Never did find any, so no campfires for us. Overall a pleasant stay.
Edwin Dejesus
This place is my yearly family vacation destination. We enjoy the relaxing athmosphere, and amenities for such a great price! We usually stay in a yurt, but the park offers campsites with power, and water hookups for trailers, mobile homes etc. There are public restrooms in every loop, including the 300 loop, which features no power, water hookups, for a true outdoor camping experience. If your traveling through and need a place to stay, this is a much more relaxing and cheap alternative to a hotel. As a bonus, it is also about a 5 minute drive from Fort Niagara State Park.
Karen Stewart
The sites are very large a spacious. There is no water at the sites but in walking distance so you fill up before.
Jon Daley
Great campsites - huge "backyard" to play in.
No cell service (AT&T and Verizon) which I didn't expect. No hookups, which I did know about ahead of time.
Campground pass gets free parking at Niagara Falls, which was nice.
Bathrooms were fine.
Amanda Bailey
This is such a beautiful campground. The sites in the 300s are very spacious. We found a BlackBerry bush right in our site, the kids had fun picking them for snacks! Free parking at Niagara Falls with your campground information! The beach is gorgeous, but not easy to get to or swim friendly. The playground is every kids dream on vacation. I will most definitely return!

August 2016
Nice location, clean bathrooms and park. Nice staff. Very nice large playground.
Non electrics are far enough away from RV section so you don't have to hear the generators. However... too many people in RVs leave on their ultra bright surround lights. They seem to do that in all the parks. Maybe a rule that they have tp shut them off would be nice.
There is no swimming allowed but you can wade in. Don't forget your water shoes. Excellent spot for sunsets.
Kevin W
Very nice park! The shower houses and campgrounds were very clean. It is a very convenient distance from Niagara Falls state park and Rainbow Bridge at an affordable price. Beautiful to be able to look out over Lake Ontario right at the park.
Dan Jennings
Nice campground! Great view of Lake Ontario! Less privacy than is desired, but friendly staff! The bathrooms were clean and the showers were surprisingly nice! Great location near Niagara Falls, only about 20 minutes away!
Jon Fleig
A decent NYS campground. Can't swim from the lake Ontario shoreline here, but one can use the pool at Fort Niagara or the beach at Wilson-Tuscarora SP. Camping here entitles you to free parking the next day (arrive before 11 am) at Niagara Falls state park (worth $10), or any of the other state parks in the area. The shower area was clean, and there was plenty of hot water. I checked in after hours with no reservation, and paid the next morning. The only negative experience was a couple groups of campers enjoying themselves loudly until 2 am.
Betseewho
Very nice, clean. Price was so affordable. The space for our RV was better than the average spot. We didn't have a lake view but we were just a 3 min walk away which I enjoyed the walk seeing all the pretty and different RVs. We didn't run into any loud campers....which was great for sleeping. General store had what I needed at a good price. The best part the Lake! What a beautiful view. We just had one down side while barbecuing in the evening, which now I realized never should have done...a gang of skunks came to our barbecue 🥺😂.

You can catch a stunning sunset from this park. There seem to be some decently old trees in the woods but the undergrowth is pretty thick and discourages much idea of hiking through them. The roads are reasonably well cared for, not perfect but not in disrepair. A bit of rutting is apparent where the parking pads meet the roads but, again, looking more like reasonable wear under heavy use rather than disrepair. The yurts, which we stayed in, are very comfortable. Roomier than we expected, very clean and tightly insulated/sealed. It made camping (ish) in the park... Okay.
The sites are very tight together, everything is wide open so no nestling in tree-surrounded sites, hardly any trees in the campground, just stumps, except around the loops.
A lot of people like the close quarters camping, so won't agree with me, but I don't, so to me it's a campground as advertised, no more, no less.
Holly Johnson
In mid October it was quiet with a nice view of Lake Ontario. Bathhouse was clean. Shower stalls were a little small with over-spray getting clothes and shoes wet. They were also a little chilly. The water was hot. I would stay there again.
Paul Matie
Beautiful setting.
Kathleen Benware
Beautiful park for camping and beautiful sunsets
Kathleen Morinello
Nice camp ground. Weather was not accomendating for a fun week. We would go back a little later in the season.
Mike Conole
Nice camp ground. We like more privacy. No beach(sand) and no trails to walk.
V Bennett
Found this park while exploring the area. Very nice state park for camping. Great sites and there is space between the sites. Only water and electric are available here.
Bobby Warham
Clean park, bathroom was clean also . spacious RV spots. Views of lake Ontario amazing.
wendy b
We had a lot of fun camping here Memorial Day weekend! Park was nice and clean, facilities were adequate. The view of Toronto and the sunset were beautiful!
Roxann Harquail
Clean and big sites. They really need to make the water more accessible...build a beach, add stairs or better paths. The area to the left by the water really needs a big of attention with the litter washed up on shore. But other than that it's not far from home to experience a inexpensive camping weekend an if an emergency occurs I could be home in a short time. They do need to spray the bathrooms for spiders more frequently or sweep them out more often.
Edward Scott
This is a great campground. The sites are big and well kept. Very nice bathrooms and close to the Niagara Falls and Fort Niagara. The campsite itself is historical. There is no area for swimming, unless that has changed since I was there.
Brian MacKillop
Great campgrounds. Right on lake Ontario with excellent sunsets. Sights are large and grass. We enjoyed our stay there.
Freebirds
We needed a place for my husband and dogs to camp while I'm staying in north Buffalo with my sister who's very ill. Gorgeous campground with easily accessible and clean bath/shower houses.
Super close to access to the US side of the Falls. Don't skip Lewiston and Fort Niagara. Best time is early to mid-September when the peaches are waning and apples are just coming in, plus sweet corn.
Carol Rowan
Great camping area and we'll maintained
Tom Neely
Nice camping area. Water can be an issue as it can be well over a hundred feet to the nearest faucet. One big playground and 1 smaller one. Very close to Niagara falls. Roads could use some work. Bathroom are clean and shower are a good size
Abdullahi Asimalowo
We visited Niagara this past summer and stayed at Four Mile Creek, the entire time. First I got the departure date mixed up and made reservation a week ahead. I called Reservation America and they referred me back to the Camp manager. The manage and his/her team were very help. At no cost, I was reservation was corrected and given a lot, soon as I arrived.
The park is very clean and spacious. Actually, its like occupying to RV lot for one. The distance to Toronto, Canada, is about 20 miles, if I recollect well. For the price, staying here and commuting back and forth Toronto, is well worth the cost, plus a friendly and supportive staff on the campground. I will definitely stay at this campsite again, should I travel in that direction.
Earl Mamed
Very nice park. First time here seems very clean and well taken care of.
Steve Fleury
Beautiful state park about 30 minutes from Niagara Falls. The bathrooms were top notch, all sites had power, but no water in ours. Want a problem as we just filled up with our hose a few sites down. Iur site backed up to Lake Ontario, and a short walk away was an area you could watch the sunset with Toronto in the distance. Great place for a short or long stay.
Paul Barton
We camped here so we could visit Niagra falls. The camp sites with electric are huge, lots of space and nice and level with lots of big trees. The showers are really nice, plenty of hot water. Nice view of lake Ontario.
Jennifer Black
Very nice park, and as a bonus every dog was on a leash! No sewer or water connections for RVs, but otherwise well kept and beautiful! Highly recommend it.
Anthony Savarese
Great location right on Lake Ontario. Loop 1 has an awesome playground for the kids. Beautiful sunset views. Easy access to area attractions Niagara Falls, NY power dam, wineries, Fort Niagara. Was a quiet family campground with few disturbances and friendly people. Plan to go back again, highly recommended.
Ray Ribaric
I give this Campground three stars for the following reasons. While this Campground is located in a beautiful area near Niagara Falls the campground leaves much to be desired. There are no water hookups at the site and only about half of their sites have electricity. Most of the sites do not have pads for your camping unit so you basically have to set up in the middle of the grass field. Recent rains have left heavy ruts everywhere. Apparently the New York Park Administration is not proud enough of their parks to provide facilities that are at almost all other state parks.
Erson “Dr. E” Religioso III
Amazing views, of the lake, great sites and clean bathrooms. Decent cell service on ATT, no wifi or water hookups like most state parks. Sites are pretty level and not too close to others. Great place to take kids they had a blast biking around the various loops! Updated playground as well. Highly recommended!
michael moore
Super awsome camp ground! We will be back from Michigan
Jonathon Ferry
Beautiful park and great campsites! Our visit went smoothly and our site was beautiful, right on the water! The camp store has weird hours and isn't open during the week, so be wary of that if you're expecting to buy ice or firewood within a 20 minute drive, but that's the only inconvenience in a near perfect campsite!
Pika Chu
Gorgeous setting right in Lake Ontario. The sites on the loop we stayed on were well designed with shrubbery in between, giving them privacy and definition. Very polite and helpful staff. Just a few minutes from Niagara Falls.
George Manne
Not a lot of good beaches. But amazing sunsets slash Rises amazing views and cool
Tammie Moon
Nice place to take our grandson, as it's only minutes from home. Mostly decent shaded sites.
Evan Martin
This is one of the best campgrounds we've stayed at. The campsites are spacious, and many of them have a spectacular view of Lake Ontario. The campground has three sets of washers and dryers, an area to wash dishes, showers, clean bathrooms, and a camp store as well as what they call C.A.P.s who are people that are there to help you in case you have any questions.
The only issue we ran into was getting to the campground after 6, the time that the office and store usually close, which meant no on site firewood to purchase. After asking a C.A.P., we were lead to a road that had a few stores, each selling wood. Crisis averted!
I recommend walking down to the shoreline, where you have a beautiful view and an array of perfect skipping stones!
Biggest perk, if you're not sold yet. The campsites are very affordable; between $20-$30 for tent camping.
Leone Byron
The park is well maintained, with good facilities, including a washer and dryer. The sites are all good sizes, and there is a beach, with a great view of the lake.
Cheryl Collins
Beautiful park, nice showers and restrooms. People driving around the park need to slow down.
Lena Dolberg
Beautiful location. Helpful staff. Nice size campsites. Showers! Which are always a plus when camping. We made some great family memories. Can't wait to come back.
Jay Janek
This one of my favorite campgrounds. It’s a short 2.5 hrs from NE Ohio. The bathhouses are clean and well maintained.
Natalie Rodriguez
Extremely quiet and very well maintained!!! Not much to do for children but there is a playground. Excellent for people just looking to relax and keep to theirselves. Certain campsites you can here lake Ontario crashing to the shoreline with a breathtaking view❤❤❤❤
JT Stewart
NY State Park, ReserveAmerica for camp sites. Nice shower facilities & staff here. Pet friendly. Most RV sites level & 30A. Some 50A available, but you must reserve well in advance to get one. Closest state park with RV sites to Niagara Falls (about 25 min drive). You must fill your fresh water tank on arrival. No sewer hook-ups at sites. Dump stations available. Stayed during end of July thru first week og August. Nice breeze off Lake Ontario. No beach or swimming at this park.
Sikkibahm1899
If you want to camp near Niagara Falls then this is the place to do it. There's not really a lot to do here, and the sites are pretty open and close to each other, but if you just want a place to sleep that's cheaper than a motel then this is the place for you. It gets pretty crowded on weekends over the summer, but on weekdays there seemed to be tons of spots open.
Niagara Intergroup
One of the best State Parks we have been to. It's very clean and well kept. We come here often and have never seen a quite camp ground for the number of campers. If you have to visit, give it a try.
Traci Luongo
Close to home, always clean and amazing water sites!
Lydia Alride
It was a mere luck when my husband and I just tried our brand new RV to camp in New York. I was going thru a lot of State Parks, but somehow my attention was focus on Four Mile Creek State Park in Younstown, NY. It is true that we learn from our mistakes. A very good mistake because that how we discover the Four Mile Creek State Park. Ever since and for many summers passed, we are always a repeat campers of Four Mile Creek State Park,NY. The ground are very flat, the staffs are excellent in the office, the volunteers are extremely helpful, hard working and very accommodating. Rest Rooms are newly renovated, and always kept clean. All the trees as well as the ground are well manicured. Dump Stations are very accessible and ample. I highly recommend Four Mile Creek State Park to young and Old families alike. We always feel safe because of the presence of Security specially in night time. Beautiful and safe playground for young children and brand new Yurts. Last but not the least very close and accessible to Shopping Malls and casinos.
C Todd
Quiet, nice park, not very wooded but has some nice mature trees for shade. Clean spacious bathrooms. Avoid front loop unless you like lots of sun and no privacy.
Suzanne Korman
We love camping here, but...the sites need updating for trailers. Some sites no gravel and the ones that do it is minimal. People don't expect to sinking their trailers in grass and mud when it rains. My biggest beef is with the Red cap in 200 loop. We have watched countless new campers come in and having trouble and he isn't around or is there and doesn't help at all. It's their job...they camp for free to do a service and it's more than filling the toilet paper holders. Very inconsiderate and rude. Red Caps should be for residents of NYS only.
tina galyn
We love this campground. Have camping here for years.
Alan Jalon
Great place for camping! Clean showers, great staff. Great location for Niagara Falls. Beautiful view of Lake Ontario. Dog friendly and well maintained camp site. I will be back every year!
torie quismundo
The camping was nice and the staff gave us excellent information for local attractions but the bath house wasn’t cleaned daily and on the second day the power went out in two bath houses and they ended up closing one of them. Everyone at the camp ground was using one bath house. It was inconvenient.
Christopher Johnson
A nice campground on the shores of Lake Ontario that places you right near Old Fort Niagara. Take a minute to walk down by the water and possibly catch a glimpse of a beaver doing his thing. Sites are cozy to where you wouldn't feel too segregated if you camped as a group either. The yurts are really neat to see as well.
Ed W. Visser
This has been our quick, go-to, get away park since 2009. Water spigots are located around the park. There are two dump stations; a double by the exit, and a single at the east end of the park. Washrooms, etc, are clean. Roads are paved. 30 amp electric. We camp in a 32 foot 5th wheel and typically we're one of the sites from 248 to 259. The biggest change since 2009, is the erosion of the shore line.. Swimming is not allowed, though some do at the north eastern section of the park. But water levels have been high of late, so it's not pleasant getting to the water. In the 15 times we've been coming here, we only tried the water once. That's not why we here. The park is in close proximity to to all sorts of other parks, falls, cities, entertainment, if that's what you want. I have good signal strength with AT&T. No WiFi available.
Nikki M
Loved this state park!! Just fell in love with it. Simply beautiful. Relaxing. Quiet! We loved the huge childrens park in loop 100. We loved that we were close to the lake (no swimming) and what a view. The toilets need a bit of renovations but its not bad. There are water stations accessible enough. There was only one dishwashing station. It was far. We wound up heating water and just doing it at our site. Its close enough to the falls that u dont feel the car ride. And we get to park free at other state parks. No swimming but kids did not mind. I dont know if it was just that weekend but the ppl camping here where so friendly i was astounded!!!
Amy Bondanella
What a great camp experience. The sites were clean and done had a running water tap. The bathroom facility near our site was very clean and well stocked. Highly recommend for a great little get away!
Karyn Mariano
Great camping location on Lake Ontario, beautiful sunsets. Dog friendly camp ground.
Michael Shields
The people make this park. We are full timers and have visited maybe 150 parks in the past 3 years and the folks working at this park are the 2nd friendliest we have visited. (The first being Semimole State Park in GA.) Not only courteous but professional, they really do resomd to all those inane requests from campers. Right on the lake, it's a crying shame New York won't pump some of all those taxes they collect to refurbish and be good stewards of one of God's niceties. Fortunately, the niceness of these employees give this park five stars.
Wendy Adams
Great camping & rv sites minutes away from niagara falls, usa, and canada. Clean family oriented park right on lake ontario. You can see toronto in the distance across the lake. 2 kids play areas, clean bathrooms overall nice park. Id recommend to singles, couples, families and very pet friendly.
samie Lynn1969
The sites are beautiful ,clean shower rooms
A store on site ,children's playground ,trails to the lake ....We took beautiful photos 📷😍Thank's to all the Wonderful staff . First time there this year. And we will make it back …
Richard K
I don't think there could be a more convenient CG to explore Niagara Falls and the surrounding communities and attractions. Others state to take the shuttle from Ft. Niagara Park to the Falls, but you get a pass for free parking at the parking lots near the Falls. Just get the lot ticket validated at the Visitors Center but be sure to show them your state park pass. The sites were level and spacious. Dual dump stations plus some throughout the park. Very quiet and oh...what incredible views on some of the sites!
heather Ellis
We enjoyed the state park. It had some flies around that's the only thing they weren't biting or anything but they just kind of flocked. Price is good it's nice on Lake Ontario and we have some family in they did not complain about that. If we are ever in the area will stay again
Nicole Peracciny
We camp here every summer. We are always impressed with friendly staff and helpers. The grounds are always well kept. They even have nature and/or craft programs on the weekends. The sunsets at the shoreline are beautiful and Toronto can be seen on a clear day or night!
Very close to Niagara falls, Lewiston, and niagara on the lake. Fort Niagara is only a few minutes away. A must visit. There's also an Olympic sized pool open to the public for a small fee. Takes the whole family and enjoy no matter in a tent, travel trailer, RV, etc. There's something for everyone!!
Christy Wilkerson
Nicely laid out park with hiking close by. However, NO CELL SERVICE (that can be a bonus for some) and only electric at sites so you'll need to fill up on water at a faucet and use the dump station.
flo h Edwards
My Husband Shawn and I had the most beautiful time. The bathrooms and showers were clean. We stayed an extra day. Staff friendly and helpful. Meets some great campers
Michael Washburn
Love this park 😍, quite and nice sites some of the biggest camp site's i ever seen . You can rest assure you can get a good night's sleep here. …
Andrew Scott
Beautiful spot, with some great views of lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline, huge sites, close proximity to the Falls and staying here gets you free parking very close to Niagara Falls (at the state park).
Well worth a trip.
Jim Mullins
Beautiful park! Excellent clean bathrooms & showers! Spacious sites with beautiful view of lake and plenty of shade! Definitely will recommend to everyone! I will be back!
Ed Smith
Beautiful campground with lots of room between sites. Nice modern restrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to Niagara Falls parkway right at the front gate.
Biker Bernie
But got some things to fix... and primarily that has to do with miscommunication and enforcement of the rules... the local Man In Charge assures me he is going to straighten out the miscommunications and have the rules enforced because people go to get away from the city and the City is not supposed to be brought with them including not leaving your trash behind on your campsite and other such things like loud music for hours on end... Now mind you this is not the only Campground that has been having issues with this type of thing... So he is going to try and straighten out his region
Laura Z
Nice park with great views of Lake Ontario. Only issue is with the grass and sorry parking pads that have standing water when raining. Good spot to camp to visit Niagara Falls area.
Fred Anselment
Had a great time close to the falls and other attractions but dont expect any cell phone reception we stayed in 1 of the yurts it was very clean and convenient bathrooms were close to yurts
There were plenty of things for the kids to do nice size park with a soccer field and a volley ball net. The yurt was very close to lake Ontario
Emily
It has 2 playgrounds, a great view to watch the sunsets and or sunrises. Not much to really do. There is tent camping and rv parking as well
Jeff R
Just stayed for a day but camped here in the past. Nice new facilities and nice view of Lake Ontario from some campsites.
Allen T
Lovely park, great location. We could see the lake from our site. We really liked the hedge rows between sites; it was a great touch!
Jennifer Zdrojewski
Beautiful views!! Wish there was an easier access down to the water from the campground. Watch out for skunks at night!
Jereme Scheffel
Why couldn't I spend longer here?! It was BEAUTIFUL and super quiet. Waterfront property, hiking trails, very epacious, very wallet friendly, and even gets a lot of discounts from being part of the state.
I would highly recommend this as a stay. However, the facilities have made it through the years and that is quite obvious at times, but it's not unbearable.
denise shiflett
Only draw back is no water at sites. Amazing view of lake Ontario and close to Niagara. Amazing sunsets.
Christina Renee
They need gravel badly--most sites, even electric are grass. A couple wet days and without 4 wheel drive you are in trouble. However, location to lake, Niagara Falls, and Fort Niagara are a plus. I'd stay again, but be more discerning about choosing my site.
Tiffany Miller-Sieving
Wifi is HORRIBLE, don't try to get anything. Firewood is pricey. But those are my only 2 complaints. The campground itself was pretty stinking awesome.
Mike Shannon
Beautiful state campground, huge sites, spotless washrooms
Jaikrishna Chimalamudi
Very good state park with lots of RV parking spots. You can see lights of Toronto city from the parks beach. Clean bathrooms and well maintained.
DavidandLori Casey
Great location...on the shore of Lake Ontario. Camper area, wooded areas, quit and peaceful and clean. I visited in late fall so most of the facilities were closed for the season. Looking forward to visiting next summer.
Kyle Newmeyer
Good staff, good accomodations. Showers hot and clean, just 15 miles from Niagara Falls. Plus your campground tag comes with free parking at Niagara falls state park and Goat Island.
William Denslow
Nice campground. Clean and a great view of the lake. Close to Niagra falls and Youngstown.
Matthew Kofahl
This park is mostly used for camping but features some very underrated lakefront featuring a stony beach, gorgeous sunsets, and views of the Toronto skyline.
Joon Coe
Great view of the lake, great kids playground. So so fire pit where ash flies everywhere. No warm water at shower during our stay, and really loud bull frogs all night.
Matthew Koerner
Great place. Beautiful park and plenty to look at. Has playgrounds, a pool and 2 water slides (that's all closed right now probably due to Covid.) None the less a wonderful park for the family.
JoAnne Owens
Very level, spacious RV sites. Beautiful grassy area next to lake. Yurts are available for rent. Dump station clean and easily accessed. And they recycle!
Melissa Muncrief
Beautiful campground. Laundry and restroom in clean condition. We stayed here 2 weeks. Staff working was nice. Sites are pretty big. Would stay here again
Patricia Leininger
This is a very nice park right on Lake Ontario. The RV sites have electric but no water but there are plenty of places to fill the water tank in your rig.
Fletcher Burdett
Good State Park near Niagara Falls and Canada, so there is lots to see and do nearby. There are good playgrounds, bathrooms were clean and the sites were well kept.
Ashley Cooper
Nice sites. Great views. Some sites were underwater but it was early in the season. Cannot wait to stay later on in the year. Will be back in a few weeks. Clean bath houses which is a huge plus.
Jerry Lathem
We camped here in October for one night, we paid $32 per night. Large spacious campsites, electric only. We were surprised at how nice the campground was. No T-Mobile service.
Barbara Hawrylenko
Beautiful campground with good space between campsites and still close to other attractions if you go out of the park.
Akila Udage
Amazing views. Clean parks and great camping slots.
Restrooms and showers are excellent
Aubri Drake
Loop 1 has a very nice bathroom with washing machines and a dish washing area. This is counter intuitive as most spots have electric hookups and tend to be hardside trailers. Loop 2 has a nice bathroom with washing machines. Loop 3 has a somewhat yucky bathroom and no dish washing area to speak of. Given that everyone on this loop is in tents, a dish washing area would have been welcome. This campground is basically open fields for the most part. Few sites have any degree of privacy.
Karen Klein
Sites are a good size, bath houses are cleaned daily and have been upgraded, beautiful views of sunsets over Lake Ontario and on a clear day you can see Toronto across the lake.
Pee Brain
One of the great NY campsites is slipping. Seems all of the sites need fresh gravel. Not enough hot water in the bathhouse to support the number of campers. Will we go back, probably.
Mike Churchill
Since we travel with an RV I can't say much about the facilities but the camp site we had was nice and had a good view of Lake Ontario.
Chris Colburn
Beautiful park on Lake Ontario. Huge camping sites. Clean shower facilities. Staff was great working with us to help find a site during a busy weekend.
ryan
Very basic and nice state park only issue would be that the bathrooms are not checked and kept up as much as other parks but still was a great experience.
Chris Hughes
Nice place, well kept and beautiful sunset over the lake.
Sharon N
Kids liked the big campsites at this campground. Clean and quiet overall. Only downside was it was far from Lake Ontario. Thought the access would be easier.
David Henry
Right on Lake Ontario, we managed to get there just before sunset, and it was fabulous, skipping rocks and watching the sun set over Canada! The kids playground could not have been better. The kids played until dark.
DisneyPeaceLove
My family’s favorite place to go camping right off the water bathrooms are almost always clean love that there are showers

The yurt was pretty solid and good.
The ac/heat was very weak.
The bathrooms and showers were clean and spacious.
Lots of muddy potholes on the roads.
Mikhail Khoretonenko
Great place to camp near Niagara Falls. Reasonable price, and you can always find a spot. Only downside is you cannot swim there.
Edward Roote
I like this place. If ya don't believe in the Force, go there and appreciate the feeling. The Force is strong there. Like a ripple in time, or just simply beautiful. Just can't put my finger on it. Just a nice experience.
Timm Thirty
One over the best campgrounds we have ever seen. Huge camp sites, well maintained and beautiful.

Ed W. Visser
This has been a favorite, go to, park. We've camped here 12 times already, sometimes twice in a season. For the last 2 years we're in a 32' 5th wheel. Pictured here is site 248 - our favorite spot.
Clo McCormack
Wow!! Just wow. Definitely go to this site.

Sondra Blackwell
We spent 5 nights and really enjoyed it the park. Great sites. Real quiet. Nice people.
Maureen Brown
Very clean. No one wore masks in the restrooms, even though there were signs of state law on doors.
Jeff Krouse
stayed 1 night over labor day in tent next to a bathroom with 4 kids and family of friends, bathroom has showers, hot water and are relatively clean, lake has 1 attractive access point where kids can throw rocks, sites are in wide open fields with firepits and grills, grounds are clean and well kept, playgrounds for kids
David Tanner

Guillermo Loubriel
Can see Lake Ontario.
William Joyner
Huge park. The views of the water from the campsites is phenomenal. Can see Toronto in the distance.

Weekend summer very crowded, but still good place for tent camping IF you get site next to lake. Otherwise you are in a field.

Jay Jones
Great campground. Just wished the store was open. We'll be back, Thank you 4 Mile!!
Feral Felines
If it had water and sewer hookups, it would rate a 4. Parking your RV is on grass.
Randy Allen
