I’ve taken skate lessens here growing up and now I go here often to free skate. I will mention that if you are an advanced adult who wants to practice a certain skill with less crowd, go to the adult skate in the morning on the weekdays. I would also advice to pick a less crowed day then the weekend because it may be to packed to do much. Overall I’ve had great memories here!

love this ice rink! they always have so many public skate times throughout the week and weekend it makes it super easy to plan a day over here. the DJ skate is fun too & there's always less people at those times which is nice!

We had a birthday party for my 14 year old at Veterans Memorial Ice Rink and it was wonderful! The party room was spacious, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the DJ Skate was just so cool. The kids had a great time, it was stress-free for us, (well, as stress-free having ten 14 year olds together can be!), and I would 100% recommend it.

Nice skating rink that is used for many different events. Open to the public for free skate and they have a DJ on Friday nights from 7 to 830, it is great for the kids. Good amount of seating. You can rent skates there as well. There is also an area to buy food and a shop to buy skates and accessories. Parking is limited at the building and most of the time you need to park in the lot across the street.

I thought this place was a elementary ever time I drove past until my wife and I stopped in. The rink was thrashed during public skate but that’s to be expected. It was relaxing to watch the figure skating after the public session was over.

We had the absolute BEST TIME here. I brought my daughter and niece for the DJ skate event on a Saturday evening. Everyone was so friendly especially the staff. Everyone wore mask and followed the COVID guidelines. We will definitely be back.

Fun to skate again! This rink is large enough to fit everyone that wants to skate. Rentals available to all and still affordable. Fantastic family activity that beats sitting on couch

Great place for lessons, and has classes and sessions for adults only as well as plenty of open sessions for all ages. Well maintained and the staff and instructors are excellent!

Public skate is cheap but very crowded. The always have a staff member on the ice, and they are very good about helping out patrons if they have any questions or need help after falling. Lots of family's out in the ice, so may not be the best place to learn for the first time

It's a nice rink although there is limited seating around the arena and even the seating in the cafeteria is limited. Parking is on the opposite side of the rink complex so be prepared to walk a little. The worst part is that the distance from highway is only about 4 miles but the route is usually packed with traffic, lots of stop signs/lights and a low speed limit. Daily fee for the link is comparable to other ice skating rinks in the region.

Great skating venue, we went on disco night which was super fun! The only issues were they turned the music up too high for the sounds system, and there was never a switch of direction (understandable though with the number of skaters there) overall it was super fun, and they had good quality rentals for those of our group who needed them!

Facilities are OK. Staff are nice. My biggest frustration is the complete inability to contact somebody at the front desk and especially the pro shop. Please start picking up your phone and having some accountability when it comes to running the pro shop as a business (hours of operation clearly advertised on the website, a phone number to call where somebody answers the calls, etc).

Nice rink, good programs..."Rink Side Pro Shop - a joke! Tried to get skates sharpened before a game (+ hour ahead), older gentleman seemed irritated and said it would be 20 minutes. Proceeded to tell me how much the machine cost, etc., which I'm very familiar with but don't see the relevance. Please seek sharpening service elsewhere until new ownership takes this over with some positive customer service.

Facility was clean main staff was friendly. My dislikes were that they had the center of the ice coned off for private lessons during free skate as well as another trainer training a student at the end taking up that whole end. I feel like if you are charging people to skate you should not be allowing lessons at the same time restricting skating areas. Second you charge for a 1 year old to skate but do not have push carts for them to learn and can't have them hold the boards because you can't go to the one end. And trying to teach them is dificult and dangerous because you have figure skaters training (spinning, skating backwards, focusing on their moves and not the people around them) we had a younger girl run right into my child. The young girl "monitoring" the ice either just did not care or didn't have the nerve to tell people to not do stuff they should not be doing. And lastly they had skating practice before free skate and did not clean the ice before free skating.

Wow has Veterans changed since I was last there. Comfortable and nice rink. The sound system is too loud however and it would be perfect if the volume was turned down just a bit

Good hours, nice rink, decent snack shop and pro shop, lots of space for putting on skates. Bleachers are pretty uncomfortable, but certainly not the worst, either.

It is always an honor to visit the United States Flag with it's memorial stone and placard, in memory of USMC LCPL Lawrence Robert Philippon. The name of the facility itself says a lot about those who make decisions therein.
