Was a fun place to bring the kids for good old fashioned nostalgic fun. Didn’t want to test my luck skating so I wasn’t charged to watch and laugh at the kids while they fell. Didn’t eat so can’t say much about that. I don’t care for the fact they put up signs saying you can’t go outside so I didn’t, but it bothered me leading me to make it one less star and of course the bathroom stall issue making it look like a prison bathroom which is quite odd for a family place. Definitely something that needs upgrading. But all in all good fun for $10 skating and with rental, worth the money for the memories alone. I’ll be back with the littles maybe next time I’ll risk the injury’s of a fall to get that feeling of the 80s back! I was a pretty good skater Back then.

Being from a state where all the skating rinks allow both quads and in-line skates, I packed my skates and hoped to skate here. Sadly they do not allow in-line skates. The gentleman I spoke to at the window was very polite and informed me it was because most people with in-lines skates outdoors, and the wheels would mess up their skating floor.

All of the nostalgia feels skating here is nothing short of rolling down memory lane. I started coming here on the weekends to be closer to those feel good childhood memories and mayeb even some exercise. The music is always good and nothing has changed about this place. And that's a good thing!

Just had the best experience tonight! We will definitely be going back. Used to go all through middle school every weekend and it was like walking into a time capsule. So great. Great workers, clean, so much fun. Just like back in the day. I want to see this place hopping again! My kids are obsessed. I love that for them. This is an activity added to the list!

Trip down nostalgia lane. Came here with the family for a school event. The staff were all so friendly. Clean on the inside and well kept. Full snack bar. Classic fun and we all had a great time.

Skateland has been remodeled since the last time I went. Friday night was packed! $10 to skate includes skate rental. Playing current day music with some classic 80-90s music also. They have the food court area still also. Hokee pokee. They have bumper cars but it's expensive at $6 for like 10 mins. Not really worth it. You can put your stuff in a locker. They have bathrooms. Cheapest 2.5 hours fun family time, cheaper than going to the movies.

It's okay. Attended two birthday parties over the past several months. I just thought it was weird that they had two separate birthday parties in the same section, while the other section wasn't being used. Both parties were crammed in one section with their party guests....it was awkward. The front staff was super nice and helpful while the other staff member who was skating was incredibly rude. His body language, rolling his eyes, and loud sighs were uncalled for. If he doesn't like his job, then find a new one. I dont know where they get their pizza from but y'all need to stop being stingy with the pepperoni. Other than that, enjoyed skating and bumper cars.

Great nostalgic skating facility. The place looks like it came straight out of the late 80s. For most places that would be an insult. When I say that about Skateland it is a compliment. My daughter and i love to go there every Wednesday we can, from 7-9.

Great place to go during the winter. Last time we were there I noticed they got new skates, at least it seemed like. They have limited hours, so keep an eye on that. You can't bring inline skates

Most of the reviews seemed bad, but we decided to go for it anyway. We had 6 adults in our group ranging from their late 40’s to early 50’s. We ALL thought the reviews were way off base. The skates were pretty new, the establishment clean, the decor brought us all back to the 80’s skating rinks we frequented when we were young. We did not order food so I can’t comment on that. We will definitely do it again!

Had a blast had to learn how to skate all over again I'm surprised they're still open this place is awesome they even have laser tag and bumper cars will be coming back as long as I don't break a hip

Personally I like skating here a lot but, it would be a lot better if they played old music they used to now they play new music which is not the vibe I go for at skating.

I had a fantastic time here on re-opening night! The music choice was mostly all current and modern tracks that still gave the perfect atmosphere to just skate the the night away! Maybe other nights will have another mix of music, they have a good sound system 😎 The rental skates are actually pretty good for what they are, and the price was pretty good for being there for 2 & 1/2 hours. I really enjoyed the semi retro backdrop and vibe of the building itsself and enjoyed seeing people of all levels of skating enjoying themselves. Absolutely magical when it came time for the disco ball to be on~ Kinda nice note, they also have reffs on the rink to help people when they fall and make sure everyone is following the rules, they are nice :) I highly recommend checking this place out, I know I will be back as often as I can be!

Overpriced with the $2.25 bottles of water that I get from Costco for 10 cents. But the kids had fun and I understand the cost of doing business. Will be back because my kids keep asking me about it.

This place was a good time just to skate. The bathroom do not have doors or stall doors and I find that very strange. But really great potential just needs some updates.

We had a birthday party for two girls and about 35 kids plus parents. The staff was helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure the party went off without a hitch! We didn't have to worry about anything except enjoying our girls' special day!

Place has been around since I was a kid so has a dated look but is clean and kids still enjoy going. It would be nice if it got a face lift with some modernization, such as some arcade games and TV's so if others such as myself are having to hang out during kids event then can watch a game on the TV or plug some quarters in a video game. Kids would probably enjoy the arcades also, more so. The parking lot needs pavement but isnt horrible. Staff is friendly. They consist of some youngsters but still carry themselves properly being it's most likely their first jobs. But keep that in mind when it's super busy as they're doing their best

Classic skating rink. Doesn't look like much has changed since late 80s. If reminds me of when I was a young kid going roller skating. Now it get to share that experience with my daughter

Definitely added the laser tag and bumper cars to try and bring in more people, reducing the skate floor. Which has not been a detrimental change and honestly quite ingenious. They are cash only which may be a sad sign. Essentially if you want there to be a skate rink in town, you have to go. Still run directly by the owners. Lots of young staff who seem happy and helpful. The music isn't too loud like some places, but i think it could use an update. The hokey pokey was unintelligible even with focus. Definitely not a bad place, and they deserve recognition for the work they are putting in.

Haven't been to Skateland in over ten years. Same experience but with more to offer now with the addition of Bumper Carts and soon Laser Tag there is a lot more to do now. If you want or need a blast from the past, go here.

skateland is an amazing skate rink, however sometimes their prices can be a bit extreme. i will always ejoy skating here, service is great, bumper cars and lazer tag is very nice! love that little place! and the customer service is off the chain!

Love this place!!! Went there for the first time on a field trip for my sons 4th grade class. It was alot of fun and we will definitively be going back as a family!

Number 1 roller rink in anchorage...of course I don't think there are any other roller rinks in anchorage. They have good rental skates, ok food, a good size rink.

Absolutely a fun place for families, kids and teams to enjoy. Lazer tag, bumper cars and roller skating. Party packages available with private areas and include food and drinks with reservations. Prices for group are a little steep, and food wasn't as tasty as I hoped. Overall , it was a great experience and everyone had fun.
