Mindy JonesThe staff at West Seattle Runner are extremely helpful and even kind. I bought a pair of running shoes from them and was badly injured a couple weeks later. They had been helpful on my first visit so I went there to find shoes wear while recovering as well as compression socks to deal with injury related swelling. I simply can't say enough about how kind and helpful and knowledgeable the staff is! I view them as part of my recovery team. Whether you are just looking for a pair of running shoes or you are recovering from a lower extremity injury this is definitely the place to go for shoes and socks!
Patricia SnyderBought my first pair of Hoka shoes. I was greeted at the store by a very friendly staff person; who was very informative about the importance of a proper fit. My feet were scanned and my gate was assessed. I learned about my high instep and how to lace my shoes differently to accommodate it. Most comfortable shoe I have worn...a great fit!

Andrea FeeneyWest Seattle Runner and Tim changed my life by helping me with measuring my feet and making sure I found the right shoe size — turns out I’ve been wearing slightly too-narrow shoes my whole life, and just switching to a different width (men’s extra wide 😅) was a game changer! I came in looking for shoes that would be great for walking around in all day for my vacation, and ended up going with a men’s extra wide Hoka Bondi 8. They are the comfiest shoes I’ve ever owned, and I felt so elated with them during my walking-filled vacay that I had to make an IG post purely dedicated to profusely praising my new shoes 😂 But it’s all thanks to Tim and the WSR team, whose service was amazing from beginning to end. I will surely be back for my next pair and even more gear again soon from this wonderful business our community is lucky to have. Thank you so much Tim!!
Mark T MillerLong time runner. Recently I have suffered back to back to back lower leg injuries, all the result of old age and too many miles. The most recent has been consistently turning over my ankle (not fun). I went in to West Seattle Runner to see if they had a more stable version of the Brooks shoe I had bought there and loved. The guy who helped me really took the time to fit me and find the right shoe. A few hundred miles later, no ankle issues! Now about my tight calves……
Chris OnderaI have been running for about 8 years and this is hands down the best shoe buying experience I have had.
We were immediately greeted and there was a bit of a wait but they constantly checked in and multitasked beautifully. They fitted me so well and explained their logic every step of the way. They brought out about 6 pairs of shoes and gave me the time to try each shoe and ask questions.
After utilizing their recommendations my foot/leg pain is gone while running and I am doing longer and faster runs. Cannot recommend enough.

Damon GerfinAs someone who is just getting into running I found the staff super helpful, Ferguson really took his time ask questions invited really good feedback. I was able to get a nice comfy pair of running shoes at a great price also got some insoles for my work boots that are feeling great as well. If you're in the market for some running shoes I'd highly recommend this shop. They also organized Community running groups / events that I will definitely be looking into.
