Great local running store. The associate who helped me analyzed my gait and brought out like 10 pairs of shoes for me to try on (and even run up the hill with those shoes). She was patient, helpful and even suggested that I should get a bigger sized shoe that what I’ve been wearing for the last few years. And boy do my runs feel so much more comfortable now. Come here if you wanna buy shoes from a store that actually cares about it’s customers!

I’ve never been to a proper running store before. I was amazed by the personalized care they gave me. The sales assistant watched me walk and asked about problems I had with shoes. She brought me a few pairs and I have never been so shocked before. I literally didn’t know what I was missing! I’ve been wearing the shoes for over a month now and my feet have never felt so supported! And their return policy is so good. They told me I could wear them for a month and if I don’t like them I could return them! Great business. Great service.

We got four of us fitted with new running shoes by Tate. Tate was very knowledgeable and friendly and got us shoes that worked really well and patient with all our questions. Great store, shoe selections, and friendly staff. Had to go back to make a change and this time Evan helped us and she was also great! and helped us with a new way to string the shoe laces, that made the shoe fit even better.

I have been buying running shoes from these folks exclusively for 20 years. Top notch service. The staff always take plenty of time to examine my gait, my foot falls, etc and make recommendations based on that. I'm given time to try each shoe out by running around the block. And my last purchase a month ago, when I wanted to return my first choice after a week, they exchanged it for my second choice without question.

Great local store to buy running shoes. I'm not much of a runner. I do it but I'd say my running form is close that of a three legged pregnant rhinoceros. That being said these guys were great to work with and helped me find exactly what I needed in the size I needed! Some stores can give off an elitist vibe- catering only to those who are 'real runners' and qualify for the Olympics. I never got that attitude from my interactions here. These guys were very down to earth and were great to work with. Parking can be annoying but it's Green Lake so that's to be expected!

If there was ever a justification for paying retail, this is the place. They know everything about running and walking and how to find the right shoes for each person’s biomechanics, which are often unique enough to require an expert to “dial you in”. I keep going back here because I get exactly what I want/need, which can take some trial and error. Thanks to their amazing policies, you can try shoes out on your favorite runs and walks and if not perfect, you can exchange them for others or get your money refunded. They even encourage you to do so. Recently, Bruce helped me find a different show than I came in for, convincing me that his suggestion would work better for me. He was right, and my feet are so happy. I’d bought a pair last summer that I never felt great in, and he said to bring them back for a refund. They were even a past model, but he said if they weren’t right and didn’t suit me, he wanted me to be happy with my purchase and the store. OMG, I was stunned. I wish I needed more gear so I could go back for more of the great customer service that all the employees provide. This store knows how to treat and keep customers, and I continue to be a happy one, year after year. WAY TO GO you guys!

Always a great time at Super Jock 'n Jill! We went for a fitting for the kiddo. She wears youth sizes that are hard to find right now. But adult women's shoes overlap sizing. With the help of one of the amazing staff, we found shoes that look great, fit great, and that the kiddo loves. I love this place for the high level of service you just don't find anywhere else.

I love this store really educational if you express that you want to learn. Figured out a lot for types of shoes, the goal of different shoes, sizing, lace tying techniques for my tall foot. My foot is so much more happy when I’m doing my longer runs and it’s definitely thanks to this store. They let you try on how ever many you need until the right one is found for you and will even let you test ride the shoes after purchasing abs while in the store! I took my friend in after getting my situation situated and she loves the pair she got great experience 10/10

I honestly can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my time in the store and about how great the staff was! One employee in particular, Carl, was especially helpful during my search for a light to use while running. I didn’t know how to even compare the different lights that they had, and he helped me to go over the options and to pro/con everything that they had on the shelves. I felt like he actually listened to what I was looking for, helped me to make a decision, and kept my budget in mind. I also needed something for chafing and he recommended a brand that I had never heard of before. I used it right after, doing two laps around Green Lake without any sign of chafing. This was such a game changer and honestly improved the quality of my run, I couldn’t be more thankful for Carl’s help!

Fantastic service. I walked in expecting to try on two pairs of shoes that I'd read about on the internet. Instead, the sales staff looked at the way I walked and jogged, figured out what kind of shoes I needed, and quickly and efficiently let me try on eight pairs. Better still I took a lap around the block in each to really get a feel for the shoes. I've never felt like I'd made such an informed choice about running shoes. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and all around great. Highly recommend this place if you're in the market for running shoes.

So helpful and informative. Having a one-on-one with a knowledgeable staff member was so great, and there's no stigma against trying on ALL THE SHOES. I love being able to test them on the hill outside, it helped to catch issues I never would have otherwise. Return policy is awesome too, I will be coming back when I kill this pair of shoes! (Helps to come in with some idea of drop, cushioning, support etc. That you want, but by no means necessary!)

Once you are fitted by a running store you will never buy blindly again. I literally stepped into Super Jock 'n Jill, was fitted for a shoe and was out within 15 minutes. They made the process super easy with my 2 year old which is a huge plus for me! The shoes feel fantastic and are super comfortable to run in!

Favorite running shoe store and prefer this over Redmond location, because the people are always, always nice, in the years I've been going there. They're patient and kind on the phone and in person. And 99% of the time they have what I need! Also super helpful to be able to test the shoes right away outside before I buy. I even learned about my physical therapist (who's awesome) from a phone call to this store!

This is my favorite place in the city to get running shoes/gear. They have a great selection and variety of shoes and styles. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I bought some new running shoes there a few weeks ago, but after a couple runs the fit wan't right so I popped in to exchange them. No questions asked and they were just as happy to get me a different size and make sure I was set. Highly recommend!

Very helpful and friendly staff. I wish I could remember the individual's name, but they sat me down and patiently let me try on a variety of insoles until I settled on one that worked for me. I went in with painful plantar fasciitis and walked out with much of the pain already gone. That's about as good as it gets.

Excellent store. I've been getting my shoes here for years. Their customer service is unparalleled. Year after year, they've helped me pick out the best shoe for my current form and injuries. They even had physical therapists once a month come in and examine runners for weaknesses and injuries, and give exercise recommendations for free. During one of those times, a physical therapist spent over an hour picking out the right shoe for me. A year later, I still use her recommended exercises during warm up and cool down.

I've had my same running shoes for over three years (awful, I know) and when it finally came time to get a new pair, I had heard so many good things about this place that there was nowhere else I considered going. Absolutely the best staff any store could have! Kian helped me for almost an hour to help me find a proper shoe and insole so that I could start running again without knee and shin pain, and he was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and upbeat throughout the whole process. Huge selection of shoes and other gear- here there's definitely something for everyone, and great people to help you find what you need. Absolutely, 100% recommend!

The staff here know their shoes (they have all the major brands and models, including the famous Vaporfly that everyone is so crazy about) and I like that they focus on helping you choose shoes that just feel right to you rather than doing lots of gimmicky tests and stuff. They also have a really great satisfaction guarantee-- they just want you to be happy with your shoe choice and you can bring them back within a month or so if you don't like what you bought. No parking here, so come here when you have a good reserve of patience. They have lots of other running gear and apparel besides shoes as well-- a nice selection that I could have spent a lot of money on if I hadn't just bought shoes!

Super helpful staff, and they really stand behind their products! My teenager bought a pair of Brooks running shoes. The upper started to show wear within the first two weeks and were shredded after 6 weeks of moderate wear. I knew it wasn't anything he'd been doing since he was only running and walking in the shoes. The manager, Ty, immediately offered to replace the shoes, even though it has been over 2 months at that point. We bought another pair of Brooks in the meantime that held up much better, so it might have been an isolated incident. I don't want to malign Brooks shoes. The cushioning, stability, and ride is fantastic. I appreciate that both Super Jock 'n Jill stood behind their products.

Went here on a recommendation from a friend while looking for a new pair of running shoes. The staff greeted me when I walked in and were happy to listen to my needs. After a quick discussion I was asked to jog quickly while they watched how I run. They then had me try about 5 different shoes side by side (all different brands) until I found the right one for me. Price was exactly what I expected to pay for a quality pair of shoes. Very happy and will be going back next time I need shoes or running apparel!

Now THAT is customer service...with a baby, to boot! I ordered a new pair of Brooks running shoes online last night, paid $15 extra to have them delivered to my home, and wrote on the delivery notes "please leave on front porch" (since I work all day). Well, I got several texts and phone calls during the day today but was very busy with needy patients and couldn't get to my phone until my 10 minute lunch break. I was shocked to find out that the delivery guy came all the way to my home and didn't leave the package because they needed to scan my ID and "prove my identity." OMG! I was so frustrated, I called the store that sent the shoes (not Brooks) and asked to speak to a manager. Michael was very nice and listened to my tirade - I most definitely would not have paid an extra $15 if I knew they required me to be home to receive the package - what a joke. Nothing on their website or order confirmation texts had stated anything about identity verification required. Michael stated that they were using a new delivery service vendor and he didn't know that this was their policy. Great. All I wanted was shoes for my tired feet. He very politely offered to drop them off at the end of his work shift (after 3:00 PM) and I politely accepted. I arrived home quite late and took a look at the security camera video footage of Michael delivering my shoes...with a baby in a car seat! Inside the box were my wonderful new Brooks shoes and a $15 gift card to Uptown Espresso. I almost cried! I will be sending him a thank you card + a $20 tip and am pleased to be writing this 5 star review on his store's website this weekend. BAM! Faith in humanity restored!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I never really took much care into shoes and I have started running again. Training for my first half marathon, I decided it was time I get a proper fitting with the right shoes. Robert was the gentleman that helped me. He took the time to understand any history of injuries and observed the way the run. I went in today to get fitted for shoes since the Hoka Rincons I bought online two months ago are causing pain in my foot. I am not sure who I was seen by but they were very nice and I enjoyed my visit. I was able to get all of my questions answered and after trying several pairs of shoes up and down the hill near the store I walked away with a new pair of brooks. This is definitely the place I will be buying running shoes from now on.

Just go. Expert advice for hard core running shoes. Gleefully allow you to run around the block and ready to provide advice on your feedback loop. Weeks to return if they don't work. Stopped carrying the shoes I had because 180 was too expensive. New pair for 120 and seem just as good.

This place is magical! To start off, they let you return shoes if it turns out you don't like them. They let you try on 2 shoes at a time (which I think makes it much easier to decide which one feels better). They also assess your gait and seem to know a lot about shoes and running. I am a 3-4 time/week greenlake runner and I have purchased all my shoes for the past 3 years here. Very happy with their service and return policy.

I purchased a pair of running shoes in July. Last week (3 months later) I noticed a small tear in the mesh, on the top of the toe area. I called today to ask if there was anything they could do, expecting them to say I was out of luck. Instead, they told me to bring them in. So, I brought them in and they gave me a brand new pair. Amazing customer service. Very helpful. When my wife and I originally purchased shoes (3 months ago) they worked with us for an hour, until we found the best shoes possible. From now on, I will purchase all my running apparel and shoes from this place. Totally worth it.

Very helpful. I was allowed to try shoes that an employee thought worked well with my stride. By try, I mean go outside for a jog up and back down a city block. Prices are fair, and well worth it after the customer service experience. Will go back the next time I need a new pair of running shoes.

The salespeople here know their stuff. I told the salesperson what I needed in a running shoe, and in a couple of minutes she brought out two pairs that were good. I asked if there was a shoe that would have the same cushioning but more pronation, and she immediately brought out a pair that had all the characteristics I needed. Excellent, friendly service!

Very helpful service that found a few shoes based on my gait and let me try them on and jog up the hill with them. Prices are generally MSRP with a handful of clearance shoes around $90-110. Great return policy if the shoe doesn't work out. I highly recommend them if you want to find a good shoe!

I have been here twice now over a few years, and both times have been fantastic. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and the return policy is forgiving. This last time my husband got shoes as well, and had just as good an experience as me. We live in Shoreline but will keep coming back here despite the parking woes! (Street parking is bad especially after 5, and the area is clogged with pedestrians, joggers, and cyclists. Take the bus if you can.)

I have a severe case of plantar fasciitis and inflammation of my Achilles tendons. I went in a was immediately greeted and offered assistance. After trying multiple shoes I was matched with a great pair of hoka shoes and inserts. I could definitely feel the difference after just wearing them for 1 day. I have been walking half-marathons for a few years. Have been fitted several times. I walked in, with an idea of exactly what I wanted. However, Ty still insisted on properly fitting my feet. After nearly a dozen different shoes, we found the ideal fit. Truth be told, it was the model and size I thought. The customer service is incredible. I will continue to be a very loyal customer.

They have outfitted me for years and Every product I've been extremely happy with. They are staffed by experienced runners. They even have a PT on staff! This local store is a treasure. I send all my friends there. Check them out when you need something for running. They will also take good care of you if something doesn't quite fit or work out down the road!

My wife had such a good experience here. She told me how she had been helped by someone who was actually very knowledgable about the products they sell. She was so impressed, she brought me in. Chris was awesome. I've been buying shoes for decades, but I've been doing it wrong. Chris talked to me about all the things we never think about; lower back pain, hip movement, etc. I admit, until now, I've let my eyes do most of the shopping when it comes to shoes. I've always driven by this store, and it popped into my head when my knees started hurting from running in cross trainers. I found an excellent store that had both prices to match amazon and customer service you can't get over the internet. I found out how important it is to try before you buy your running shoes. Online product reviews can't tell you how they will feel on your feet! Phil at the Greenlake location really set me up good. He immediately offered me help, which was much appreciated with my lack of knowledge. He watched me walk and then jog across the store to observe how my feet hit the ground, then instantly got three or four sets meant for my gait for me to try on. He had me matched up with the perfect set (specifically recommended it over the more expensive pair) after less than 15 minutes of his undivided attention. He even gave me a discount to boot!

Upon walking into the store on a busy Saturday afternoon, I thought that I would have to wait awhile to be helped, and that the help would be subpar. However, I immediately was greeted and received very attentive and superb customer service. I was impressed with the employee's knowledge, attentiveness, and general friendliness. Considering how crazy busy this place was when we went there on the weekend I was afraid we would be there forever waiting for someone to help us. However it seems they have plenty of staff on hand and we were helped right away. If you're looking for a good running or walking shoes or if you're looking for shoes with extravagant colors this is definitely a good place to go. They are not cheap repeat again they are not cheap. Parking is a bit crazy, but considering their location that is to be expected.

Top notch running store. Last time I went there, I talked with a staff-member for a long time and he fit me into some Brooks that I love. I tried some Hokas too. The neat thing is that you can go run outside to test out the shoes. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and avid runners themselves.

Met the owner at the Expo for the Seattle Marathon, in a building full of hundreds of runners, he took the time to fit my girl friend for insoles, to help with a foot injury that she was going to tough out for the race (about half an hour worth of fitting) He then told her to take the insoles and go outside and run and come back so he could adjust if needed. Really great service, and the best part, we finished the next day!

If I lived in Green Lake this would be my favorite running store. They've been hosting training runs for the Jingle Bell Run for the last few weeks. Well, more so letting us slow-coaches gate crash. It's a helpful store of runners, who organize nights to showcase products (tonight for Gortex), and facilitate community. Being on the lake helps too. Tonight was my first purchase, but I never felt out of place running with them before that. I walked in dripping wet and asked to try a running cap on. They let me, I bought it.
