This is a great gun shop! I drove from Alabama to buy a rifle at this shop. They had a great selection of guns and ammo. I was able to find a gun at this store that I was unable to find in stock anywhere online or in any gun shop in a 200 mile radius. While I was there, I found another rifle that was in stock that has been difficult to find so I ended up leaving with 2 guns. They also had ammo in stock that I have had issues finding at other stores in my area. The prices were excellent on both the rifles and ammo. The staff I interacted with (Shellie, Tony and Emily) were very friendly, personable and knowledgable. I wish I lived closer to this shop so I could frequent it more often. I highly reccomend them for your gun and ammo needs.

I had a great experience at this store. They worked with me to help me find which gun would be best for me, and gave me a full run down of how to operate and clean it. They also told me a good place to go for classes. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to buy a new weapon, or who needs help with repairs, or just needs someone to answer any questions. They are very knowledgeable, and want to help you get the best bang for your buck. Will definitely be back!

Excellent seller with reasonable prices, considering the current demand. I called about a specific item and they answered by questions with specificity, offered a reasonable price and had it ready when I arrived. Ammo prices were more reasonable than competitors in the area and availability was decent considering the difficulty of obtaining it now in the current political environment. I recommend this shop if you are looking for a specific bang-bang item!

Folks, This is the best gun store by a mile. It would take two pages to tell you all how much they have helped me and my son. We went from a defective competition gun that had to be returned, to the wrong type of gun for my Son's style of shooting and ended up with NGK ordering us the perfect gun for my Son and having it in his hands a week before the season started. Go in, get to know them and you will love them. I do shop around and I have not seen a price yet that would me go elsewhere.

I went down to Nashville Gun and Knife last week to look around and see what they had and to check out the new store. First, I was very impressed by the amount of staff available to help and answer questions. There 7 or 8 employees plus the owner was there on Saturday, available to help. Second, I was impressed by the depth of knowledge of the staff as I visited the different areas of the store. Shotguns, rifles, pistols, knives etc... There was always someone there to help and able to answer all my questions. After discussing the pros and cons of the different .22's I was looking at with the owner, I ended up choosing one that I really enjoy and have no regrets. They helped me make the perfect selection for my needs. As for price, I was able to get it that day for a few dollars more than I would have had to pay on-line, but then I would have had to have it shipped to a gun store and pay them a fee and all that would take several days at the least, and would have cost more. I am looking for a couple of pistols now that it is legal to carry a loaded gun in your car in Tennessee and I will definitely be going back to NGK. I would highly recommend that you at least go check them out if you are in the market for a weapon. They also have a gunsmith on staff, you can watch him work right there over the counter and ask him anything about guns Great store!

If you’re expecting bubbly personalities and guys dancing around to help you, you will be disappointed. If you’re looking for guys that know their stuff, have a huge inventory of great deals, and people willing to help you out with your concerns or issues, there is no better place within 100 miles.

Laid back atmosphere, nobody trying to do the used car salesman routine. Staff has always been friendly and patient with me, in spite of me asking to hold basically everything in the place. It's made me a regular customer, and made it my go-to recommendation to friends. I am more knowledgeable on the knife side of things, but they have an excellent selection of some of the best blades made. If you want a real blade that won't fail you when your life depends on it, this is a great place to shop. (Spyderco, Zero tolerance, Benchmade) And the prices are reasonable, no ridiculous markups, which i've seen a lot of other places. I'm very much in the "glock 19 is all I need" camp, but they always have my 9mm in whatever flavor I need. Their handgun selection is excellent, Sig, CZ, Glock, S&W, Springfield, and colt all accounted for. Lots of cool custom-looking AR-15s, if that's more your speed. Hunting rifles/shotguns are out of my lane, but they certainly have plenty for you to check out. I even spied a Ruger Precision Rifle. TLDR: Good shop. Nice people. Haven't tried to rip me off. 5 stars.

Awesome place. Very clean and high end. Inventory is on par with some of the best gun shops in the country. I will place it Top 5 on my list of favorite gun shops. The cutlery section was not lacking either. Very nice and great selection. Have alot to offer! Will be back!

5 stars to Nashville Gun & Knife for not price gouging during the current crisis. I bought a Glock there yesterday and the price was the same as it was a year ago. Other places in the area are charging $1000 for a glock 19. We should do everything we can to support businesses like this.

Nashville Gun and Knife is a gentleman's armory. No taxidermy, just beautiful cases of the weapons you read about in magazines. They're all there. Customer service is spot on. Knowledgable salesman that walk you through the process allowing even new owners to not feel the sting of being a novice. There is about a 2% markup beyond what the big box stores charge, which is negligible to me as a trusted store pays dividends that a large chain never will.

I can only speak to the knives part of the store-haven't shopped the gun side at all (although I'll note their ammo section is pretty much non-existent for rifles and shotguns). Unfortunately, their knives are full retail price OR MORE. I pointed out web sites that showed retail pricing, and their pricing was about 20% higher. They agreed with me, but wouldn't change anything (e.g., Anza, Protech). Now, I don't expect a brick-and-mortar to compete with BladeHQ or KnifeCenter, but MORE than MSRP? That's about 40% higher than what you can find online, and even though it's great to hold the knife in hand, and the staff were friendly and helpful, I just can't spend that much extra. I don't think this store will sell knives to knowledgable buyers-and I expect some buyers are going to discover they paid a lot more than they needed to. And like me, they won't be going back.
