They were so friendly, helpful and kind. They offered to help me carry my items to the cashier as my hands were full of skates! They had an excellent selection of high end figure skates. They were attentive and kind. They also offered an exceptional return policy for a consignment store, any return within 15 days of purchase for full store credit!! I was overjoyed to and refreshed to shop at this local business with kind people and exceptional customer service! Thank you again🙏😊

I brought some skates that I had purchased new on Amazon to be sharpened. The previous place said they wouldn't fit on the machine to sharpen and Play it Again said the same. Decided it would be better to get different skates there that could be sharpened. Neil was so incredibly helpful ! He got me set up with skates for myself as well as skates for my two boys. Really appreciated his attention to detail in fitting me in there. Great value, great experience !

Great selection of used kids skates. I made off with a pair of beginner's double blade for $10 and a nice pair of figure skating for about $25. At checkout they told me I could return them within 15 days for any reason. Pretty sweet!

Love it! The people who work here are very helpful. They always welcome me right when I come in and help me find exactly what I'm looking for. The prices are usually lower than expected. Makes shopping for kids sports gear very easy and fast. Definitely check here first before your buy new, even if you have to drive a ways.

Helpful staff and great selection. My six year old daughter wants to get into ice skating so I was able to find a used pair of skates that wouldn't break the bank, and also found a pair that I will return to buy if she decides to continue skating.

I'm not even sure how to rate this store. It's Covid days here these days so people want to be outside. The stock was limited and the staff were as helpful as they could be given the circumstances. I was instructed by staff to not put any item that I wanted, down anywhere, for any amount of time or someone else would take them. Lol. I got something similar to what I actually wanted. The whole experience was just ok. I'll go back if I have to.

Every trip to this Play It Again ends in a success! Andrew specifically is always extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and provides a great customer experience for my son and I as we look for new and old hockey, LAX, football, and golfing gear. We also take advantage of their skate sharping services on a weekly basis in the winter. Again, Andrew is quick to acknowledge us with skates in hand, and his sharpening skills always boost our confidence for our next skate. Amazingly large selection. Unfortunately staff are few and far between, and too busy talking to each other to help. I found my roller blades myself and had to flag someone down to check out. Regardless, they had an unrivalled selection that I would return to.

The value proposition is a bit of a mystery to me. Before the internet and Craig's list and all of the person to person apps maybe this made sense. But the cost for retail space and employee wages inflates the price on 2nd hand equipment. Value is hit or miss in my experience. I went there for example recently for free weights and they ran about 0.56 cents a pound. That's half what you would pay new. But also 2x-3x what you would pay on Craig's list. That said, hockey sticks at the end of the season can be a pretty good deal. And you are crazy to buy a new baseball bat- there are decent options at PIAS. Skates can be a decent deal too if you hit the store at the right time. I do like that they will wheel and deal with you! The guys working there always tend to be friendly and helpful where they know something about a sport and its equipment.
