The owner, Chuck, was a super good guy and nice guy. We were new to tennis and he showed us how to string the racket after he closed. He took time after he closed just to teach us how to string the racket. He made us fill at home. I highly recommend this for any player.

Don't know why more people haven't reviewed this place. Took my son in there this weekend to get him a first racquet for his first season with the JV team and has been using my wife's old racquet in a league last year. Chuck gladly greeted us and helped us find the perfect starter racquet for my son. He could have sold us an expensive model but instead he wanted to get us the best racquet for his ability and money possible. He also went ahead and strung it right then and there and my son is excited to get on the court and practice with it. Couldn't be happier and I hope that they stay in business for a long time. Worth the 45 minute drive from Elizabethtown. Thanks. Go here if you're serious about tennis.

Great place to buy your racquet, went in not sure what I was going to buy but was guided by the extremely friendly and experienced staff to choose the right racquet. I was on the two month demo program and the experience was wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that one of the owners of the store (Mr.Chuck) greeted me with a smile anytime I came, and personally helped me to find the perfect racquet. Another thing that I appreciated was the fact that the staff was less worried about how much money I would end up spending, and more on the quality of the product and how much it would fit my playing style. I highly recommend this place and am very glad I chose to purchase my racquet from here.

Amazing shop with an even better team for all of your tennis needs. Chuck is a racket stringing master and so knowledgeable about the game of tennis. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, Chuck and Mike's is where you should go, without a doubt. Chuck restrung my racket the other day for me and helped me pick out the right type of strings for my playing style and level. He described the difference in string types and really cared about getting the right product for me. I am not from KY (neighboring state), but every year bring my kids play Louisville tournaments that happen November/December. I do not know if this is typical, but Chuck was just a gentleman over the phone as I tried to get some shoes for my son. Beyond helpful and professional. Louisville, support your local shops, especially the ones that do what they do with a smile and professionalism. Please keep up the good work, it is a good example for others to follow. Very impressed.

These guys know their stuff! Drew is a machine when it comes to restringing, Chuck & Mike are always willing to listen and give guidance when you need it. I Would highly recommend this shop to any regular tennis player. They have a great selection of gear and racquets as well!

I'm 28 and have been in and out of tennis but still go to their shop... I have had a positive experience from them and the people that have worked there. Even if you need is a playing partner....
