Dr. Shyu has to be one of the most caring doctors i have come across in years! He was so kind to my mom when she was having issues and he was so patient. He's just the best!

All of the staff are very friendly, helpful and work very efficiently . I was especially impressed with Dr. Shyu. He did most of my testing the day of my appointment answering all my questions. After worrying about my declining eyesight I felt much better after my appointment. Another thing I really liked was the use of nature videos with calming music to help you feel more relaxed during your appointment.

Dr. Shyu was quick and efficient. We were in and out quickly with a good exam.The front office staff is wonderful and friendly. The techs that did the initial testing and dilation were nice, and knowledgeable of their work. They shared what they were doing as we went through each process. We'll be back.

Dr. Shyu is great and I highly recommend. He is an ophthalmologist and follows me for keratoconus and offers personable, helpful care. He also has helped me in a bind to get me a new pair of glasses with his optical shop. I appreciate his ability to help me understand the details of my diagnosis and proactive care to set my eyes up for future success!

My visit today was for a stye. Everyone was very professional, helpful and pleasant. Dr. Shyu prescribed meds, sent Rx to pharmacy, and gave me some helpful tips on the stye. I appreciate the amount of time he takes to explain things so I understand them.

I recently had my annual eye exam with Dr Shyu. I knew I was close to needing cataract surgery. Both Dr Shyu and his technician spent a lot of time with me explaining my options. Dr even showed me some videos about the surgery, which relieved all my concerns. I’m now actually looking forward to getting my “eyes” back. The entire staff is professional, yet very personable. They really care about the patients. And I could tell from my interaction with some of the other patients in the waiting room, that the Brandywine Eye Center is trusted and loved by many.

A fantastic team and such wonderful care from everyone from the front desk staff to Ada, the ophthalmic technician, to Dr. Shyu!!! Cannot rave enough about the high quality of care I received! Everyone was so professional and caring. Ada and Dr. Shyu took the time to explain answers to my questions so patiently, and never made me feel rushed in the visit even though I was the last patient of the day. Dr. Shyu also went above to explain his thought process and reasoning during his evaluation, which was very helpful. The whole visit was comprehensive and comfortable. This was my first time at Brandywine Eye Center. The front office staff was very helpful with and knowledgeable about insurance plans and what procedures different plans would pay for. Appointment hours were available within one week. This was important to me because most ophthalmologists have first available appointments in January 2023. Dr. Shyu was very knowledgeable and confident. I liked that took time to sit down and talk to me about my family’s medical history. He was sure he could handle my many vision issues with out a problem. I scheduled a follow up appointment for myself and an initial visit for my son. He will be taking care of the whole family. The only complaint I have is the amount of time I had to wait. My appointment was 10:15 and I wasn’t seen for an hour and 15 minutes.
