Owning a business myself with service technicians I have have to say I am immensely impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. Having somewhat of a background in electrical myself, she answered every question I had about the Jacuzzi's functions and options and there were many. What really impressed me is that she focused on the problems of the equipment (probably from the move) and was not just trying to sell me products and upgrades, which is a rarity now days. This was probably one of my top five experiences with service I have had throughout my career and I highly recommend Great Atlantic and their top notch service department.

I purchased my hot tub from These folks last year. It was a mess since the purchase. They told me they were going to include the speakers and music package for 12,900.00 and when it was delivered it had no speakers as promised. Since then one problem after another. I had them out to resolve why the unit keepa tripping thr breaker. They said it was a bad breaker. Electrician said monit wasn't. Paid him to switch it out. Still they can't fix it. Now they saynots the heater. Haven't heard back from them forever a week. The sound of crickets. Horrible company. I hear they were sold and under new management. I really don't care I just want my hot tub fixed. It's under warranty and they get paid from the manufacturer to come fix. Will keep you all updated on the resolve? I think I'm just Ready to just have another company fix it. The warranty is only as Good as the people backing it. Company came back out and made things right. Glad to see they got it done. Thank you!

The only thing that surpasses them is relaxing in our new HotSpring Flash spa. Thanks Great Atlantic you did it again - and every time! An absolutely top-notched professional team is what you'll find at Great Atlantic! I had the pleasure of dealing with Brandon Kaminski from start to finish. Brandon was sterling in every aspect as he stepped me through lots of questions dealing with spa selection, performance, installation, operation, maintenance, and financing. Brandon is a subject matter expert without peer and more than that he conveys genuine passion for his product as well as an unqualified commitment to customer excellence. The hot tub arrived and the delivery team did a fantastic job. The hot tub was ordered in September and arrived in March due to COVID interrupting production and we are excited to start using the hot tub. The hot tub was huge, 7 person, and heavy, like 800 lbs. The hot tub we bought from Great Atlantic 23 years ago finally had an issue that costs too much to repair. But Diana in the service department did her very best to help me figure out a way around the problem. Finally, though, it became clear that we need to let the old one go, but Diana helped me identify a tub that is smaller and cheaper for this time in my life. In the service department, Diana, Nick, Trent, and a woman whose name I didn't catch all have been incredibly helpful and patient with me. And Clay In sales was straightforward, thorough, and helpful in handling our new purchase. Honestly, at first I was debating whether to get another tub or just end my hot-tubbing years, but I know I'll be in good hands with the team at Great Atlantic...and I do love a good soak in the tub!

He immediately noticed that our green/blue light has become disengaged from the inside cover. The light is of course critical to the unit's self -diagnosis because it flashes and makes the owner aware of low level salt or other issues. I know the quality of Great Atlantic Hot Tubs, Hot Springs, this is my second one and the first was 24 years ago and a great tub "Prodigy". This is my second and I know it is a good tub because of reputation and quality...however...I was curious, if buying this new tub was like a car, the dealer eager to sell you one and then the customer service was none existence. This is the norm in retail society today, no excellence or desire to be so. It took over two months to receive my tub with little updates from the company, especially delivery folks and I love the tub but still waiting for the call " How is everything, How did we do?" The two men who delivered the tub did a great job considering the poor equipment and tools they had. They deserved, and I gave them the tip $$, however, if Hot Springs wants to continue to be #1..then customer service and communication need to be #1. It is not...go the extra mile for excellence above the norm!

So far everything has been great working with Great Atlantic. My wife and I have been working with Megan and she has been great. She has always returned my calls and emails promptly and she is very Knowledgeable when it comes to hot tubs. We wet tested multiple hot tubs and I'm impressed with their product line. We decided to purchase the Pulse with the ACE system and Audio system. Our Hot Tub is currently on order and we can't wait for it to be delivered. From what I've seen so far, I'm confident Great Atlantic will continue to provide excellent customer service through delivery and beyond. The new one we purchased recently has been awesome, Stephen was a great help when it came to fitting our needs vs. our wants. The service team has always been very reliable and responsive when needed although we haven't had to use them at our new home yet. Hot Springs builds a quality tub, if you want to purchase a hot tub that will last, I strongly suggest checking these out. Remember, you get what you pay for...

Fantastic experience with Great Atlantic so far. Purchased our hot tub in May and before ordering our salesman Heath warned us that it would be months before we would receive our hot tub due to the production facility in California being closed due to COVID-19. Throughout the process of waiting Great Atlantic kept us informed of the status every couple of weeks and we finally received our hot tub yesterday, just in time for the cooler fall weather. Had the first warranty claim service call today on my Hot Spot hot tub that I purchased from Great Atlantic almost 2 years ago. The control panel led display was starting to fail. The Service Technician David Frezzell showed up with a new panel and had it swapped out in no time at all. Excellent service! Update 09/09/2021: Received my second hot tub from Great Atlantic today. Took a long time to get it due to COVID etc…. Great service, knowledgeable staff.

I purchased our Hot Tub from Great Atlantic on May 8th . I guess because of Covid-19, we're told it will be ready sometime in July . Other than waiting 2 months for delivery, the experience has been positive. Heath has been very helpful in the buying process and the electrician he recommended (Nickel Electric) has been great. The Contractor Heath recommended to pour our new patio and build a roof over it (Turtle Rock) has been good , but the weather has kept them from being able to get it done . Hope after all is said and done sometime in July, we'll look back and be happy with the purchase and the whole experience. I was going to wait before giving a review , since I haven't gotten the Hot Tub yet and the patio and roof over it has not been done yet , but decided to rate my experience so far.

It's really worth having pros conduct this annually as they made several important repairs under warranty that I would never have caught myself. Thorough, professional and knowledgable. Originally I became acquainted with Great Atlantic in 2015 when a house I purchased had a Hot Springs hot tub. Great Atlantic, in Yorktown, right off the bat was helpful in helping me understand how to maintain the hot tub. A year later, with the help of Sandie Hill and Kristen Cooper, working our of the Yorktown showroom, I traded in my hot tub on a newer model, a salt system. They helped me save thousands not only providing me a fair trade-in price, but also prompting me to purchase the hot tub through an agreement Great Atlantic has with the Military Exchange System which saved over one thousand in sales tax. Diana Barrett, Operations and Accounting Manager in Great Atlantic's Virginia Beach Headquarters is always there to provide warranty service and just answer hot tub operational concerns if needed. I feel I can depend upon Great Atlantic Hot Tubs having done business with them for over five years.

Had to get the biggest SPA and had to have it delivered in the middle of a backyard renovation. The company went above and beyond to meet my needs. Install was precise, meaning within inches of pillars and overhead lighting. Outstanding care was taken with install team. Hot tub is great, performs beyond expectations from last hot tub owned. Easier maintenance and like the auto reorder option for supplies.

My wife and I purchased our hot tub from Great Atlantic in 2006. It was a very positive experience. We had our first water leak in the hot tub in 2017. The water leak was an easy prompt fix by Great Atlantic. The technician, Dave, was knowledgeable, polite, and professional. A short time later During Feb 2017, a pump for one of the "Jets" needed to be replaced. Our technician was again Dave, with the same professional demeanor. Since there is no 4.5 stars we gave it a 5. As an anniversary gift to ourselves we purchased a hot tub through Great Atlantic. The sales person we worked with was VERY informative and well educated in all their products details. There was ZERO pressure in our purchase and we found the best tub to meet our needs and fit our budget. Our only minor issue was the scheduling of the delivery of the hot tub had to be changed to later dates due to unforeseen personnel issues.

I ordered my spa back in October 2020 and just now received it a few days ago. They were not great at keeping me updated on delivery date. It took days to get response via email on delivery update which kept getting pushed farther and farther. Delivery date finally here!! I was supposed to get a call the morning of delivery to confirm delivery order and time. I did not recieve that call. But Delivery crew were great overall. I needed them to come back due to family emergency and they happily came back a few hours later when I was avaliable. They were nice at moving the spa around to my liking. However they were not very helpful with the set up or who to call for the set up. Now I'm looking up youtube videos to figure out how to do chemicals and use the remote, which I am terrible with electronics. I am waiting to get a call back for the orientation. I wish it was something they did upon delivery, because I would like to be in my spa now. Buuuut I added too much chlorine, so I have to wait.

Shary was very patient with us, this was our first hot tub. She answered all our questions, sent us to Va Beach store to look at a model they didn’t have in Yorktown. She discovered that I was retired military and told me about the “Military Star” program, minimum no tax. My card had expired and when I reapplied was told anything purchased the first day was a 15% savings, such a deal. The period between ordering and delivery seemed excessive but it was over the holidays. Brian and his side-kick placed the spa where we wanted it. Opened the cover and discovered it was to small. Then he admitted he was not comfortable installing the cover lift, his boss would be back out. The proper cover was delivered the following Day. We had filled it water, he explained the chemicals and plugged it in. When we got a call that they would be out to install the cover lift I took a look and discovered it was not what I had ordered. It reordered and should be here soon. Two weeks and loving it! Maybe I’m a bit high on my rating but there is no 4.5 and personalities count for something. Shary and Brian are good people.

Bought a Hotspring Limelight Flair from Great Atlantic, and just had delivered. We absolutely love it. Stephen was the sales person in Virginia Beach, he was knowledgeable and professional and helped us make the right choice without pressuring to make the sale. PROFESSIONAL all the way !!! My spa was not working during the quarantine of 2020. I called 5 local repair companies and left multiple messages, with never a return call. All their answering machines said nothing about the current situation and how they were doing or I should say NOT DOING BUSINESS. Not professional at all. EXCEPT Great Atlantic, Diane called me back in less then 2 hrs and we booked an appointment for 2 days later. The day before, they told me they had to reschedule our delivery for the following week. I was pretty frustrated, but in the end, not a huge deal.

As we are new to spas and especially salt-water spas, water quality & balance questions and how to manage this occurred, quick and reliable answers followed throughout this process. Also, as Great Atlantic has partnered with NEX -we were able to purchase our spa through them and utilize the NEX benefits. I have decided to amend my original review and throw in a couple stars. There were a number of trials when ordering our new Hot Springs Limelight Flash tub. We were given some misinformation and it had a domino effect until we were ready to throw in the towel with Great Atlantic. I still don't know that I would openly recommend them, but encourage you to go in and make your own decision on that. Just make sure you READ everything you sign and don't go off of what you are being told. We learned that the hard way... Also, you may need to be extremely patient with the delivery process and it may be best to use their electrician even if you have one you prefer to use. It could end up saving cost and headache down the road... At the end of the day, we love our new spa. Rich, the President of the company stuck with us until he was sure we would be satisfied. The effort is appreciated.

Go see Jason at the Virginia Beach store and he will help you pick out the perfect tub at the right price. I purchased my second tub with Great Atlantic in Dec 2019 after purchasing a Caldera tub back in Dec 2006. They have always stood behind me and their tubs whenever I have needed anything. I still have my Caldera Tub 13 years later by the way and purchased my 2019 Hot Springs Grandee from Great Atlantic so I could upgrade and move my Caldera to our second home in NC. Great Atlantic has always been very helpful and has the best Hot tubs anywhere that money can buy. If you want a hot tub that will last a long time, go with Great Atlantic. You get what you pay for when it comes to Hot Tubs, don’t cheap it out with the other low end tubs that will break in 3 years or less. We wouldn’t buy a hot tub period if it didn’t come from Great Atlantic who sells the best hot tubs on the plant. Hope this helps you make a good decision. I know hot tubs inside and out, do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money on the other garbage out there. You will thank me when your tub is up and running and your friend or neighbor who cheaped out is always complaining about their tub being broken and down. Oh, and I didn’t get paid for this review, lol. I am just passionate about hot tubs and thankful for Great Atlantic!

Our salesperson was Megan and she was very helpful and willing to spend the time to answer all our questions. Great Atlantic has a partnership with the Navy Exchange which can save you a lot of money. My unit was not in stock so delivery of the unit was slow as they have to be shipped from CA and has to be part of a bulk shipment. This means you have to wait for others to make purchases and the shipping truck to get full before they will ship your unit. I had to wait over a month for the unit to get to Great Atlantic and then another week to get my new Hot Tub delivered. All in all not a bad experience. I would recommend Great Atantic to anyone.

Before buying a SWIMSPA check with your city inspectors and obtain a permit FIRST. There are many rules for allowed placement of the swim spa. Using the military exchange is a great deal but realize the max they allow on the card is 8,000 dollars, so it will take two accounts to pay for this one. But you save over 1000.00 and receive 300 dollars in gift cards. The delivery guys Leonard and Ray were the best! My best take away advice is to check on the permit, talk with concrete contractors for estimates and electrical. Between the two I spent an additional 3600 dollars. Shawna the delivery coordinator was amazing and helpful. Now that it is in, we are please with the final product. But man what a road we had getting here.

Again nothing they did, it came that way from the manufacturer. Never have I had such AWESOME service from anywhere, especially when dealing with a delivery and set up! The staff was very knowledgeable about the product line and gladly researched any question they could not answer. We chose the Jetsetter. The temperature remains constant. The cover mechanism is effortless. You can easily step in and out without stairs. Delivery took place exactly when it was scheduled. The delivery/installation team were pros. They acted like they were delivering a priceless statue to a museum. I felt like I should have paid an admission fee to watch them get it up the stairs onto the deck and maneuver it into position. It worked perfectly immediately and has continued to function flawlessly for a year since then. We got the salt system which I recommend - less maintenance. It has never been more than the 2 of us in it at once so the Jetsetter was the right choice. I have called a few times for maintenance tips and have always received a cheerful and accurate response. Would I buy from them again? YES Did I buy from them again? YES. We just received a second Hot Tub this week for a different location. I will provide feedback after I have more experience with it.

They maneuvered thru our side yard expertly. And installed the cover and lift arm on site. Steve has answered our questions about chemicals and anything else we can throw at him most pleasantly!!! I purchased a 2008 Prodigy spa that has functioned flawlessly for 41/2 years; however, it developed a defect that fortunately Watkins agreed to remedy. I began the process all wrong by contacting Watkins directly. They were polite but not as understanding as I felt was warranted;so, I contacted Great Atlantic and was connected with their warranty/service department. Rebecca and Ashley asked me to email photos and my rationale for them to pass along to the main warranty department at Watkins. Once Rebecca saw the photos and read my email she was 100% on board to act as my advocate with the head of the warranty department in California. After sending more photos and another position email Rebecca was successful to get Watkins to agree to a new Prodigy spa which was professionally and carefully installed right where the former spa sat.
