I got off my prescription topicals and have been struggling with hormonal acne. I reached out to Healing Hamsa for advice on what type of facial that would be suited for me. Jodi contacted me and recommended the DMK enzyme treatment. First, the actual space is clean, pristine and quite beautiful. It’s beautifully decorated and very calming. Jodi sat down me with me and listened as I aired my frustrations about my breakouts. Second, i was brought back to the treatment room. Again, the room was beautiful and super clean and hygienic. The treatment itself was relaxing. Jodi explained the process as we went along but also kept space for me to relax. She did offer me a treatment plan with products but didn’t push anything to purchase. All in all, I had an amazing experience at the Healing Hamsa and would recommend!

10/10 would recommend Healing Hamsa to friends and family! The spa is absolutely spotless and decorated so cute. The rose quartz facial was so luxurious- I’ve never been so perfectly pampered! I first met Jodi about ten years ago when I bought a Groupon for a chemical peel package. I was struggling with acne then, and the chemical peels were a game changer to not only keep the acne under control but prevent scarring. I’ve gone to Jodi ever since for treatments and facials, and I cannot say enough good things about the services she provides and her as a person. Any treatment you get from her is amazing and relaxing, and helps you disconnect from the world for a bit (something we all need to do from time to time) and she’s a wonderful human being on top of it. I just joined her membership program so I can see her for facials once a month, and I’m beyond pumped! Make an appointment! You won’t regret it- you’ll leave refreshed and having made a new friend.

I went to see the beautiful and talented Jodi! I have been battling acne scars from my pregnancy three years ago. Jodi offers a Plasma Pen treatment that is phenomenal for that! The treatment was uncomfortable but beauty is pain, right?!? She made the experience awesome and as relaxing as possible... I am absolutely elated with my results! I recently went to Healing Hamsa for a custom facial and was just blown away! Not only was it so very relaxing, which I really needed, but my results were amazing! The fine lines on my forehead were significantly diminished and my skin absolutely glowed. I also picked up some of the Sorella products she carries to help with my dry skin and have been loving the results I'm getting at my home, too! Jodi is so sweet, helped me pick out exactly what I needed, and truly pampered me!! I can't wait to go back!

I love Jodi!!! I found her years ago through Groupon. I have received peels and IPL facials from her and can’t wait to try more. She is professional and timely and so easy to talk to during treatments. She is patient and will explain what each peel does, also will assess your skins needs. No surprises with Jodi, she tells you exactly what to expect with treatments. Her studio is relaxing, clean and inviting. She tells you what your skin could benefit from without being pushy to sell. She has great hours for working professionals, I book early evenings without difficulty.

She gives her honest opinion about what you need and do not need for both treatments and product. I have know her since she started, and she continues to succeed for this reason. I was fortunate to try her new HydraFacial and it is amazing! I knew it would be since Jodi is picky and only offers the best!

Aside from doing quality aesthetics, Jodi is so warm and a joy to visit. Highly recommend her services! I have received microneedling from her. I generally have a high pain tolerance, but the microneedling can be pretty painful and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the topical numbing ointment available has to be applied 30 minutes before treatment in order for it to work, and we never have time to wait around for it to numb my skin. So I’ve gone sans-numbing both times—not super fun. If you have a low to medium pain tolerance, I recommend you ask her prior to your appointment about how to apply a topical numbing ointment to your skin before your microneedling appointment. Some people say it helps, others don’t, but it’s worth a try!

I have yet to have the services but from the reviews I am about to make an appointment right now. I just moved to the area and I have been looking for someone who does great work and is personable. As far as the bad review is concerned. I have my own business and some people do not read the rules of the groupon. Some people do not understand that when the business owner is the only staff the schedule can be hectic and full. Last minute scheduling is usually not an option. Therefore, people write reviews in anger to try to limit that persons success. Legal action is less likely taken after they speak with groupon and find out the fine print and that their situation does not apply because rules were not followed. For future purchasers please do not be discouraged by one review when there are so many positive responses to this persons services
