We bought a twilight series spa to help ease my arthritis. It has been wonderful. We got the hydrotherapy series, and it has been worth it. Being able to warm my joints in the winter has helped me sleep at night as well as helped loosen muscles to stretch after having both knees replaced. Thank you to Jim for all your help!

This was an amazing experience from the get go with John Erickson with Master pool and spa Saint Louis park MN. We were at the Colorado Western Stock show Master Spa Sale . John was very knowledgeable about the exact tub we wanted. Tub showed up right on time at our home. We live in the mountains and John had already set up for a difficult install because we needed it in our back yard .. Not an easy task by any means Mountain trial to back of property. The delivery team did it, set it up, and were very professional. I was very impressed. The tub is above and beyond our expectations. This tub has performed flawlessly for the past 4 months. I use it at least 5 days a week and love every minute of it. I highly recommend you get on of these spas and you could only hope to get John Erickson as a sales rep. I started to buy chemicals from Master Pool & Spa a year or so ago. I have been very happy with their prices and customer service. This spring I knew it was time to replace my cover AGAIN! It was sagging, moldy and was so heavy it bent the brackets till the broke. Kevin and his team at MPSpa told me about this new SmarTop cover and I am so HAPPY! The delivery went very well and they put it right where we needed it to go under our deck. The tub is easy to use and maintain and is very efficient. I have always had a Hot Springs brand spa for several years. We moved and left our spa with the house, so we were in the market for a new spa. We were looking at local dealers and heard of s traveling spa show nearby. We decided to go look at these spas, which were Master Spas. I never heard of Master Spas in the area we live in, but the salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. We returned home, and I began researching Master Spas and learned of the quality, durability, and they were made in the USA. We decided to purchase the Master Spa Twilight 8.2 series, and it is one of the best decision we have made.

We purchased our Legacy Inspire Spa at the Canterbury Park Spa sale in Shakopee, MN the first of August, 2018 and had it the next week. The salesman (Mike F) was great and we got a super deal, We were replacing our old hot tub (14 years old) with this one and really love it. The delivery was very smooth and fast, they even took away our old hot tub!

I ordered a spa from another retailer and was told I'd have my hot tub within 2 weeks. 2 weeks came and went and was told it wouldn't be until next spring when i called and they couldn't even guarantee that, so I stopped by Master Spas.
Was told 8-16 weeks estimated for delivery as a worst case since these are factory orders, and got my spa delivered in 3 weeks. Even placed it where I needed it on my patio and the hot tub is sweet!

I would give them no star if I could. Do your research, check the BBB before buying anywhere. Read reviews. I wish I would have. I stopped in for one of their so called sales that seemed to be always running and always on sale. I'm always scheptical of places that do this. The experience was good in store. I have read several reviews after I purchased and note a few things. The owners only respond to the good reviews. That tells me they do not address complaints. They ignore them. I have seen that first hand.
There are several people that have experienced similar issues with no call backs by Kevin or the service team or sales rep. Once they get your money and its delivered good luck! I have tried several times to get responses and have now decided to start writing reviews to help other people from making the same mistake.

The sales experience was great. Bought a hot tub and it was delivered in 6 weeks. Dealing with our salesperson after we purchased is a little bit of a different story. Before you buy, they bend over backwards for you. After you buy, getting ahold of them is difficult at best. Had to call and leave multiple messages for our salesperson (Jason) for him to call back. Other than that, it was a good experience.

We bought our mater pool spa at a sales event last year. The salesperson was really knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Delivery was within 3 days of purchasing, and they were quick and no damage done. We have had several weeks of below freezing temperatures, and yet the tub doesn't require a long run time to keep it up to temp. I believe this is because it has great insulation and a nice cover.

Our spa/hot tub just arrived today! The sales experience was simple and Alex was very friendly and helpful. But the TRUE heroes are Max and Dave who delivered our spa. We live on a very busy street near Uptown and have a sloping driveway along with street signage to avoid. These two arrived on time and were absolutely friendly and professional. They took their time to carefully plan out how to avoid all the obstacles and took extra precautions to protect both the spa and our yard. They even re-positioned the spa after it was situated when I realized I didn't like the position of the electrical panel. And... they did it with a smile - no rolling eyes or bad attitudes here. They showed me how to get everything up and running and offered useful suggestions. They made sure to clean-up and removed all the cardboard and packing materials when they left.... Amazing!! We got our Trainer 15D delivered last week and it has been absolutely wonderful. Kevin delivered it and did a great job making adjustments exactly according to where we wanted it. We went looking for a hot tub a couple weekends ago and were really impressed with the quality of the Master Spas, and the knowledge and professionalism of the folks at Master Pool & Spa. After rechecking measurements on our patio, we came back to the store the next day and purchased a Twilight Series spa. The guys working there were friendly and patiently answered all the questions we had. The best part was we had the hot tub in our backyard just two days later! The delivery crew was great as well. I recently purchased a spa from Master Spa at a local event in Marin California. When I arrived at the location I was greeted by a very knowledgelble and helpful salesperson. He spent a considerable amount of time walking me through the different styles of spas and completely explained how each worked and the benefits of the different models. He took the time to find out what I wanted in a spa, and directed me to that model. He did not ever make any attempt to up sell me. Prior to my attending this sale event, I had visited most every other spa manufacturer. I was very familiar with most brands and the cost of each. Much to my pleasure I purchased a Master spa for literally half the amount I would have paid for another brand. The spa is excellent. The pumps, the heating process, the filtering system, all superior to the other brands I looked at, and less expensive. I purchased the spa on a Sunday afternoon, it was in my yard on Monday morning by 10am. I did need an electrician to hook it up, but I would have needed that for any of the other brands. Lastly, the delivery company was excellent also. They were on time, neat, removed my old spa, and left the yard in perfect condition. I am very pleased with this purchase, I would highly recommend a Master Spa to anyone who asked. I'd like to thank Master Spa for their professionalism, for providing a quality spa, and providing great value.

Bought our new Master Spa TS 6.2 at a sale in Portland, Oregon. The sales staff were great and no pressure, answered all our questions, and was very knowledgeable. Scheduling delivery and setup was easy and they did a fantastic job getting it up to our new deck. It was a challenging feat to get it where we wanted it. We are first time spa owners and we were able to follow the easy directions on setting it up, filling it, and getting it ready for use. The directions in the start up chemical kit were easy to understand and we really appreciate the suggested schedule for checking the spa water, changing filters etc. The control panel is easy to understand and intuitive to find and change settings as needed. We have had it up and running for two weeks now and we love it. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I bought my swim spa in January of 2019 and I love it. I have never owned any sort of pool before and was worried that I'd screw something up and ruin my investment. My sales guy was the best. He took 2 calls from me after delivery (and after hours!) to re-assure me and answer questions. There was a delivery error with the steps, and he made sure I got the correct ones at no charge. I also had a couple of calls from their customer service department to ensure I got the right steps, as well as the workout equipment that came after I registered my spa.
I was concerned that there wasn't a local retailer in my area, but the folks at Master Spa have turned out to be fantastic. They were back in town for a big spa show and sale a couple of weeks ago, and my sales guy took time to sit with me for about 20 minutes to let me ask my remaining questions give me pointers.
I LOVE my swim spa. I had been looking at them for over a year and finally decided to pull the trigger. It is easy to maintain, easy to clean and oh so relaxing! I have told everyone I know to get one. Mine has definitely been worth the money and I believe I will always own one. I hate to exercise, but being in the water to swim, or walk or row or whatever doesn't seem like "work".

We ordered our 8 x 8 spa ~ 6 weeks ago from the Canterbury Spa Sale and are pleased with the product. However, the response to voice mails is less then stellar. Over 4 weeks I've left 2 voice mails. After the first voice mail was in the box for 3 business days I stopped by the store. I was able to get my questions answered. Recently I just stopped at the store after a full business day. The product and the customer service seem to be great, once you can reach someone.
We previously have had 2 Cal Spa's, and a total of 3 leak repairs over 4 years. Reviews lead me to believe this spa will have better longevity. I'll circle back in a year or so with the update!

Master Pool & Spa was great to work with. It took me 2 years to decide on which spa to purchase, they answered all my questions and walked me through everything. I purchased in the fall of 2019, I had a problem with one of the panels being scratched when they delivered it and they came out and replaced the panel at no charge, in the freezing cold of MN. Now a year later I still love my spa. I got the Twilight series and have not had any issues.

We purchased our spa in October. The delivery guys were very efficient and carefully moved my spa into place. I was a bit disappointed to learn that they don't take the pallet or any of the packing materials with them when they are done. I seem to be using chemicals a bit more than I was told by the salesman, and i just replaced the outer filter about 2 months sooner than i was told. Other than that, we have really enjoyed our spa. Like i said, we've only had it about 4 months, but it seems very well built, holds temp and hasn't cost a lot to run. Maintenance is minimal with twice weekly chemical adjustments and monthly filter cleaning. I will add to this review in the coming months to update with any issues as we get closer to the warranty expiration. So far so good!!

We were very happy with the entire process. We were not pressured to purchase a spa. The salesman took his time with us to show all of our options and gave us his phone number at the time of purchase. Each time we called he answered his phone, just like he said he would.
They called us to schedule delivery, we didn't have to call them. When we were finally ready to have the spa delivered (we had to get a pad poured) they worked to get our spa delivered from Minnesota to Texas even though they didn't have a scheduled delivery on the books. The process was painless.
The coupon they gave us to purchase a cover lifter did not expire, even though we waited months later, and was delivered in a timely manner. We recommend Master Pool & Spa.

Mater Pool and Spa did a great job facilitating the sale and delivery of our H2X 15D swim spa! I originally purchased a H2X 15 via a wholesale dealer at a sales event, I didn't get to test it because it wasn't filled up. The swim spa was shipped to Master Pool and Spa within a week of purchase and it was ready for delivery. In the mean time I read reviews about the swim spa depth and was worried we would rather have the deeper model. Master Pool & Spa had a demo of the H2X 15 in their showroom filled with water, so we tried it out and wanted the deeper model. Even though our swim spa was at the store and ready for delivery, Kevin changed our order for the deeper H2X 15D model. He quoted us 6-8 weeks for delivery but he was able to get it from the manufacturer and deliver it within 3 1/2 weeks! He also coordinated a 3rd party to bring a crane to our house for placing it in our backyard. On the day of delivery Kevin showed up on time and facilitated the delivery and everything went smoothly. I purchased a TS series 87.3 Spa from Master Pool & Spa last November.
Sam and Will were very informative and went into great detail explaining the different models and their features. We decided to purchase a TS 87.3 spa. The spa was delivered on time and the delivery personnel took the extra time not only to place the spa correctly but to explain start up and matainence procedures to ensure we had a good experience. We have used our spa on a regular basis and have had no issues.
Overall Will Sam and the delivery personnel did an excellent job with customer service and we recommend their product.

We were in the market for a hot tub for arthritis and to relax in the evening. There was a Master Spa showcase at our local events center and we went on the last day of a week long sale. Patrick was our salesman and listened to us as well as gave us a brief but concise review of each tub. We found the one we liked and he went through the functions and how to set it up. Delivery was four days later and the delivery guys were great and quick. We love the tub and getting it started was fast and easy. we use it daily and it helps with my arthritis and muscle issues, but most of all it is relaxing and fun. Our neighbor said "oh, highfalutin now?" we both laughed, but I thought wow......
Master spas have been very helpful and the online text help is wonderful and they really care!- Also... we paid about 40% less than the brick & mortar stores we visited so, win, win!

We recently purchased a Twilight series Master Spa at a Home & BBQ show in our area. The salesman was very insightful regarding the product and made it easy for us to decide on a Master Spa. We live in a very cold climate and when the spa was delivered we immediately began filling it up. Because of the below freezing temperatures we had a few issues getting it to work properly. I tried to call the technician/customer service for Master Spa, but because of the late hour and it was a weekend, no one answered. I called our salesman, who immediately called me back and help me figure out what I needed to do to get it running properly. Great customer service from our salesman! The spa works great and we have loved it.

Got a fantastic deal on a fantastic spa, and it was delivered ahead of schedule. Our electrician hooked it up following the provided instructions and it's running perfectly. The jets in our new Legacy spa are so powerful and placed in perfect positions to massage our sore back and leg muscles. 1. Excellent customer service: This company is not only friendly; they were super helpful. This was my first new spa and learning how to manage it took a bit of skill. However, they helped me every step of the way. So informative!

This review is for the delivery crew who probably doesn’t get enough praise for the challenging and hard work work they do. First up, communication was spot on. I knew every step of the process. They used technology like google maps to plan out the delivery. Our property had challenges like getting 50’ of truck and trailer between trees and a pond. They were so incredibly patient and did everything they coukd to avoid any damage to our new swim spa. As you can imagine a swim spa is very large and very heavy. They sent out 4 guys to ensure success. We had many obstacles—Kevin and his crew were absolutely phenomenal. They earned every star of this review. Thank you guys. 🙏 in terms of billing and payment the gal in the office was very nice and accommodating. The sales process was a bit pressured but I think I needed the push. I am glad I chose Master Pool and Spa. Please note: I am a new customer and have only gone through sale and delivery. No service yet.

I bought the Michael Phelps H2X Trainer 15D Swim Spa with all the bells & whistles. These machines are amazing & very well made. Not to mention beautiful. The company is very responsive, professional & customer service driven.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars would be the Training & Setup. If you haven’t been a pool owner in the past, your basically in the dark. Even if you have owned a pool, these are different (mine is a 3 filter system), so you may struggle with water chemistry, initial setup & maintenence. I watched the YouTube video’s & read the literature provided, but really had to dig & make multiple calls, which, in my opinion, took too much time. Now that I know, this system, it is amazing & easy to maintain. The filtration is the best I’ve seen on the market.
Heads up...The local pool store’s are not very familiar with this specific swim spas -at least in the Bay Area. My sales rep, John Ross Erickson, found a local certified Master Spa Tech who was able to help me within one phone call. I was/am so grateful for John. He is very helpful, & always returns my calls. Had some issues with delivery & John not only took care of it, but more than made good for the inconvenience. I’ve already referred them to a couple people. Very happy I chose Master Pool & Spa.

well over 4 weeks ago I ordered a spa from master pool and spa. I was told it would take 4 weeks to get. so when the 4 week mark hit I called and asked if my spa was in yet. they told me no. I asked when it would be in and they were not able to give me an answer. all they said is when its in, the installer will give you a call. very disappointed that they can not give me an estimated time. they couldn't even tell me if it was even built yet. so far not impressed. I would have liked to get a call at least to tell me hey we haven't gotten your spa yet but heres where its at but they cant even do that. so now im just sitting here waiting day by day for a phone call hoping it will be in soon. but who knows maybe it will be another 4 weeks till I receive a call. no one knows. very tempted to just call and cancel. if I would have known it was going to take longer than 4 weeks I would have shopped around. I understand covid is a thing but the sales guy made it seem like no other companies had inventory and could not build them as fast as they could. so far not impressed.
Update it took 9 weeks to get the hot tub. Have had no problems with it and absolutly love it. Just wish i wasnt lied to about the timeframe. Other than all thatm im glad i finally have it and can enjoy it.

Invited us to see for ourselves, never downing the other makers, but just look for this in showroom models. Look at framing, look at energy consumption, what are the chemical requirements. I am a long-time customer of Master Pool & Spa, going back to 1999 with the purchase of a Down East Spa (Exeter model). I purchased that spa directly from the owner of Master Pool & Spa at a home & garden show here in the twin cities. My spa never had any issues, and ran fine for +15 years. 2 years ago, the spa started to leak, and the cause was my fault due to improper winterization that caused a ruptured pipe in the spa. Master Pool & Spa sent a technician to my home, and did a thorough inspection. Based on the damage and the age of the spa, the recommendation was to replace rather than repair. Of course, I hadn't planned to replace my spa, but decided to take a look at what models/configurations they had to offer. I also did some comparison shopping with the competition first, and after looking at other dealers pricing, I was less than enthusiastic about replacement. Today, I purchased a new spa from the owner's son at Master Pool & Spa.. Customer service runs in their family, as the entire experience was "no pressure" just like when I bought my Down East spa from his father. I was given all of the information that I asked for, and I was given an extremely good price on a custom ordered spa based on his recommendation. Best of all, the current sale offers free delivery, free installation and free haul away of my beloved (but deceased) Down East spa. I highly recommend that you give Master Pool & Spa a visit - you won't be disappointed.
UPDATE (07/21/2017) - My new Master Spa Twilight 7.2 was delivered on Wednesday, and the electrician hooked up the power this morning. The delivery crew did a fantastic job hauling away my old tub and placing the new one. Had a small issue with a sensor (SNS B) fault after energizing the circuit for the spa, but Master Pool & Spa service called and told me the common cause (sensor wire not plugged into circuit board) which fixed the issue. Spa is running great, warming up approx. 5-7 degrees per hour and will be ready for use tonight. Will post more in a few weeks.

The salesperson Patrick in Pleasanton was great to work with. We did have some issues at the start of my Spa installation. When I received my Spa it had some scratches on the Spa panels. I notified the company. They had no problem sending the replacement parts as soon as I filled the warranty. A month later, the motor pump went out. I called customer service who refer me to service company closest to my area. Note: Please make sure to check how far your service rep is located. Mine is far and they will charge you travel fee if not covered in your warranty time frame. Mine was this time. The replacement part was 2 1/2 weeks out. When Charles from Coastside Services came to repair and replace the motor. He did a fantastic job. He provided great information what to check for and to maintain Spa. Ever since Charles fixed our Spa, we have not had any problems. We enjoy our Therapool D!

Super happy despite a major glitch which was handled very well by the company (specifically by Dave, the hot tub service guy, who was awesome). We'd just bought our Twilight 8.2 at the St. Louis Park, MN store after A LOT of research and sitting in a 20 or so hot tubs (had almost bought an Arctic and a Clearwater but liked the feel, price and features of the Twilight). It was delivered next day (Tuesday) by 2 guys who were super nice and super helpful. We got an electrician out Friday and it was all set to go by Friday afternoon. Then, we turned on the spa and 1 pump wasn't working. We did some trouble shooting and had no luck. We called Sam who had sold us the spa and Sam put us in touch with their service guy, Dave. We left a message for Dave at almost 5pm on a Friday and he called us back. Dave spent over 1 hour trouble shooting with my husband (who is fairly handy). Dave was super nice and ran through everything possible with my husband. In the end, he could only conclude that we had a bad pump. Our options at this point were that we could wait until Monday for a service person to come out or he told my husband that if he felt comfortable, he could remove the pump and if he could get to the store by 8:30pm we could get a new one from him. There was no way I was waiting 3 days to get into this hot tub so I drove it in. At 7:45pm, he gave us a new pump in the box, tested our original pump which was indeed not working properly. He also gave us free filters and chemicals for doing the work ourselves. A few hours later we were in our hot tub and we LOVE it! We cannot say enough about Dave. He was just wonderful. The pump is not made by Master Pool and Spa so, truly, we feel that this was a crazy glitch that was out of their control and they took care of better than we could have ever anticipated. A couple reasons we went with this company was that their parts are local (thus easily replaced), their spas are really nice and the price is very competitive. We like the design and, to be honest, Hot Tub University on You Tube made some very compelling videos and the questions and answers with Chris Wheatley were very helpful. He is a Master Spa guy but I challenge you to find anything else more informative out there. Buying a spa makes you want to throw in the towel if you do enough homework (because you just go in circles and have no idea what to believe). I do recommend moving around your jets to your liking-- makes the spa 'just right" for you.

Master Pool & Spa guys have been great, I had a challenging order both in terms of having to fit in a tight space and schedule due to my active home construction. I had many questions and they helped me through the entire process, even going over measures of the spa before I saw it in person at their San Diego spa show. I previously had another spa brand and selected Master Spa specifically to replace a spa I was having large issues with; leaks, electrical issues, sound system failure. I have owned this spa a year now and have not had any issues. Over that year of ownership, if I needed anything they were ready to help, even a year after my purchase (I needed replacement keys and had questions about Wifi module). Oh and their delivery contractor they partner with in CA is absolutely fantastic, again very capable of fitting the spa in a tight spot and he was properly equipped for the delivery job. Night and day difference with the other spa company.

These crisp fall days are made for enjoying our Twilight Spa from Master Pool and Spa!! We’ve had our hot tub since mid-July, and our family loves it!
It was a bit of an impulsive purchase for us, and as the months go by, it has proven to be a great impulsive decision! Our yard was full of friends this summer, the spa helped to attract guests of both our high school and college children. We were able to get to know the young adults our children spend time with so much better simply because they wanted to spend time in our new hot tub!
As we waited for delivery, I began to feel a bit nervous about maintaining my impulsive purchase. I have had zero previous experience with spa or pool maintenance. No worries!! This thing is SO EASY to keep clean and inviting.
Chris was the lead man for our delivery. More important than making sure the spa was located where we desired, he spent a good amount of time explaining the features and operation of the hot tub. He answered questions that I didn’t even know to ask. He gave maintenance tips. He helped me to believe that I had the knowledge I needed to get the tub filled and bubbling! Thanks Chris!!
And then there is Will. Chris gave me a good starting knowledge, but I like to understand things and make sure I’m doing them right. Will greeted me with a smile and by name every single time I stopped at the store with another question. I stopped at the store A LOT with questions. (The location is super convenient, close to Costco!) Will was patient. Will was informative. Will was reassuring. Will helped me to both get the accessories that would help us enjoy our spa and to not order or buy things that we didn’t need. Will, thank you for all of your information and assistance this summer!
As the kids chatted this summer, I learned that several of them have different brand hot tubs at their homes. I loved when they shared the features they liked better about our hot tub! One likes the lights, another the smooth glossy surface, another all the different jets. And I laughed when one teenage girl told me that she liked that our water always smelled fresh and not like, well, yuck.

I have never been in a more therapeutic hot tub. It has had a few glitches (mostly self inflicted by children) but with every issue they have been there for me. The team at the facility in St Louis Park MN has the best customer service and support within a business that I have experienced in years. Their pricing is reasonable. The cost of ownership is very reasonable - I don't see much of a jump in my electric bill and I keep the temp set to 104 in the winter! I would recommend this company and their product to anyone looking for a hot tub/spa. I felt I needed to write this review after their help yet again last week. I want to personally thank this company for all they have done to help me keep my hot tub in excellent working order.

We heard about a spa sale at the county fairgrounds. Enjoyed the experience of climbing into spas to find one that would fit (I'm 6'2"). Had a great time on a Friday afternoon. The spa was delivered Sunday morning. The delivery driver gave us some pointers and left us hi number if we had any problems. Customer support was also great when sides popped out of retainer. They sent wider retainers for all sides.
We are enjoying the spa each evening. We survived two rear-end accidents in late 2017 and resulting back surgery in April 2018. The jets work over our backs to supplement our trips to the chiropractor. Love it.

REVISED Good News..
I received a call from a very nice person named Dallas from Master Pool & Spa. Turns out, there's the Master Spa manufacturer, and then there's the Master Pool & Spa Dealer. Very confusing and not really sure I get it.
Anyway, I guess we were dealing with the manufacturer when we were getting the run around, but we actually purchased the Master spa through Master Pool & Spa. Dallas called to help rectify the issue we are having. Dallas told me that he contacted Master Spa "factory" and that they have agreed to send someone out with a new board and replace at there full expense.

Master Spa comes to our area several times a year. Their sales people make it seem as if service and part replacement after purchase is not a problem. Our spa is only a year + old and already has a broken main / mother board. OK stuff happens right? Called Master Spa and they said its part and labor are under warranty but their closest / nearest service center is 2 hr. + drive. They only willing to pay half or $150 since the service center wants to charge $300 for a long trip visit.
Why don't they have a service provider closer to where they sell products? Master should honer there warranties and pay full price of warranty repairs. Its not our fault they haven't negotiated with a local provider. this is a company issue and they should pay for all repairs in full and provide a local service provider to repair at no cost.
Bad business practices and customer service = bad deal for anyone looking to purchase a big ticket item like a spa. Shameful Master Spa.
Fix our spa please!
It was a 10k purchase we waited 9 months for it. Now is rendered useless until it's repaired. Buyers Beware!!
