Reviews of Century Day & Night Spa
Fantastic spa experience. Love the skylights and little outdoor area. Haven't tried the food yet but I've heard good things! Say hi to Jerry the cat on your way in or out!
It may be unusual to review a spa by comparing the two gender experiences but hopefully this is helpful for anyone going with friends of a different gender. Today at Century, myself and a friend (neither of us cisgender or, ironically, assigned to the correct side of the spa) had a chance to notice the disparity in facilities for those visiting.
I asked "is the women's side main room two stories high with natural light, and door to an outdoor space?" "Is there a clay sauna, a marble sauna, a dry sauna AND a cool sauna?" "A eucalyptus steam room?" The answer in the women's side is no, unfortunately.
Fundamentally, this spa does seem geared towards its male clientele. We picked it because we had read that there were unisex facilities, which there were, and overall all the facilities seemed reasonably well maintained and positive to use. And it's true that it seems gay friendly, which is wonderful.
But it's hard not to notice the difference in value for money depending on which side you are pointed towards. And perhaps no-one should be making assumptions about that either! Would visit again but just some context for anyone else considering.
I'll admit, I was really nervous going in for the first time. But after today, I feel more at ease and comfortable. The service was excellent, the food was amazing and made with love. Edwin was incredible and checked in with everyone. I'm really glad I came to this spa, especially with my group and chosen family.
I have been coming for a couple of years already, what I can share is nothing but positive things. For far, it’s the best Sauna in LA, has 3 floors, 2 are mix (men&woman) The gym, Pool, restaurant and the Jim Jil Bang which are several hot and cold rooms. And the only men area which is Very enjoyable due to the variation of rooms.
Last but not least, the staff and owner are the best people
It could have been ok if there was not a huge sex tension in the the men’s area. Went there with my husband and we were looking to have a relaxing time but the sex tension in there was bad. It was very cruising and the main steam room there full on action going on there.
It was a shame they didn’t have any massage therapist available until very late as that would have made the experience more pleasant. The food in the communal area it was actually good.
Love this place. My partner and I go at least once a week. The gym in the basement is fantastic, the people in the community always friendly in the spa itself, and the restaurant upstairs is better than a lot of Korean restaurants in the area.
The wet services here are the best experience I ever had for my birthday. I would visit LA again just to come here. Thank you all some much for everything! I feel cleansed and moisturised and relaxed. Literally a whole new person. The facilities are also quite clean and quiet!
Very clean and not busy during the weekdays. Restaurant is closed on Tuesday for some reason, but their dumpling soup is amazing. The men's area is aestheticly pleasing, also has a nice patio to cool off. Hardly ever any people upstairs, free wifi, free parking, they are a little stingy with towels though, so I always bring my own to dry off in case. Pretty awesome for $30.
Wow- James gave me the best Deep Tissue I’ve ever had in my life, not kidding. He even went ten min over out of the goodness of his own heart. 😍 …
I'm new at golf. After watching Happy Gilmore I borrowed my friends clubs and whent here. I swong so hard the club went flying out of my hand and flew to the end of the course. The attendant was nice enough to stop the other golfers from hitting while I made my way to get my club. Not a bad way to spend 8 bucks and 2 hrs. My back hurts though.
Massage therapists are the BEST I ever had in my lifetime. Chi Master Level. Hot and cold plunges. Co-Ed area upstairs is huge! the food is to die for. Anyone is stupid NOT to go.
Good place to go for a day sauna.
Little bit quiet that is why much better
I had good day and relax
Staff is great, clean facilities, some of the rooms are a little small if it’s busy, but we’ll worth the cost of admission. The on-site food is great too.
Uhm not my thing. It’s not clean.
But it’s a good last minute decision for a massage late at night.
Great space, clean environment, friendly staff. Only wish it's hrs of operation were longer.
i love coming here but did there regular staff go on vacation?? the new person didnt set the temperature right the ice room was hot, even after i told them they made it 10 degree colder. it wasnt cold at all.
also it would be greatif they had memberships so we dont pay a monthly gym fee every time. id love to come here more!! i come mostly for there rooms upstairs but love it! hope they fix the ice room!!
The variety of tubs and rooms is great, will definitely come back. Staff was very friendly.
Wonderful experience. I highly recommend the body scrub. The massage is not worth it in my opinion. It was not great and overpriced. BUT the body scrub was amazing. My skin was silky smooth. There are tons of rooms to relax in. The overall experience was wonderful.
This is my favorite spa to go to. I highly recommend the milk scrub and oil massage combo. A must to eat upstairs after pumping some steam in the gym downstairs. It’s such a great place to wind down too. I love the different rooms and I will always keep coming back.
The best spa in LA? I think so.
Whether it’s a relaxing dip in one of the 3 men only looks, rejuvenation in a selection of dry and wet saunas and steam rooms or total tranquility in one of the many upstairs rooms which will chill you out.
Also features a well stocked gym and pool in the basement. A fantastic well-being experience.
This is a 5 star Korean spa as it is high end with all the amenities of a traditional Kspa. What separates this spa from other Kspa's is the spectacular architecture. The grandiosity of this place is "eye candy" for newcomers. The second floor is underrated as many patrons don't utilize it but it contains a restaurant that serves authentic Korean food, has an "ice room" that simulates a freezing environment, and a room with a floor that radiates heat.
The staff is friendly and hospitable especially the owner and manager. One employee is still giving me a hard time but as long as she checks me in in a timely manner, I'm fine. I'm trying very hard by greeting her exhaustively, so that she will be hospitable towards me, hopefully we will get there.
Last but not least, there is a golf range and a swimming pool which other spas do not have.
The only request i have is to spread out the lockers assigned to customers -- as locker numbers 30 to 60 are always so crowded that people have to wait until others are finished. The owner and manager do this but maybe others will do it as well.
I've been to all the Kspas in L.A. and Century is by far the best.
Amazing. A huge gym in the basement, full size lap pool, restaurant and golf driving range. A beautiful and relaxing men’s spa, with a large hot tub, 2 kinds of steam, and several types of dry saunas. Lovely, friendly lady at the front desk.
Exceptional facilities, super clean, kind and helpful staff. As a first time visitor, I felt welcomed in a gay-friendly environment. The facilities are truly exceptional: wet sauna, dry sauna, steam room, outdoor patio, restaurant, stone clay kiln room, multiple rooms for just the right temperature. This place feels like an undiscovered gem.
This spa is great! Love the fitness room down stairs and the pool, both of which are usually completely yours alone to use!
Also love the body scrubs and the men’s spa.
The communal area is huge and beautiful and are usually a great place to relax. This area is usually pretty empty and private.
The restaurant upstairs is literally the most well kept and under rated Korean restaurant ever! They have an old lady that home makes dumplings… enough said.
Great spot to relax, always clean & wonderful experience.
The BEST after a long flight or a long week. Clean. Safe. Wonderful.
Very nice facilities and great customer service at the front desk 💯. Milk scrub and massage by John was great. Coed area was quiet and relaxing. Men's spa area is also clean. I personally love the Eucalyptus Sauna. I'll definitely go back. …
Tomomi san I see your posts everywhere complaining about spa food.Did it ever occur to you to eat before going into the spa.As for your food critic opinion about Crystal Spa's food it's possible to eat at the food court on the second floor for alot cheaper than at the spa. There's also like 20 restaurants within walking distance on the spa.Don't expect so much out of spa food.Lmao It's a trap for the ignorant like you.
This was my first time and I loved it. It has many spaces to explore. The swimming pool was warm for my taste. It is well kept and clean. All guest were respectful. It is an excellent place to relax and refresh.
Not open for 24 hrs like others in the area. Elevator broken.
Great spa, but pls flush the swimming pool toilet and chk it every end of day. I was there twice, 2 weeks apart. Same old crapppp in the toilet didn't move. Lol
But great staff. Great jacuzzi. Very thoughtful top floor stone rooms.
This place is great on the men's side. Cleanly, nice facilities and a robust population for those who enjoy communing with others in a holistic space.
The music isn't great, but manageable.
One of my favorite places to go and relax! Whether pampering myself with a massage and/or body scrub, or working out in the gym downstairs, and soaking in the jacuzzi afterward.
I grab a bite to eat in the restaurant upstairs from time to time as well, and really enjoy the food too!
This place is great. Quality conversation, quality people. Always a nice relaxing experience. Services here are amazing. @Armon Ricardo So wait, you're triggered because you're required to have a vaccine? It's on the web site. You're going to give this business a 1 star review because you couldn't be bothered to look up a web site? Wow. Did you even bother to ask the lady if a vaccine was required? P.S. Every major business, especially ones like a spa, are going to require a vaccine so grow up lil snowflake.
No frills Korean day spa but certainly does the trick!
Great place to relax. There is a whole area just for women. The price is a bit much for only 4 hours, but the experience is still nice.
The best. Good prices and service
I've been going to this Korean spa for about two years. The body scrubs are amazing and so are the massages. The customer service is improving with the new front desk staff. Attendants do a great job keeping the place clean. I think the price of services are fair and I feel like I get a great value. I can't think of the guys name but I had the most incredible massage last night.
Great place to get a full body scrub and massage. Its split by gender.
There's a swimming pool cold and hot. Lots of saunas and temperature controlled areas to sooth your body. Multiple areas to relax, nap and even sleep.
Without any additional services, entry is $25. With $80 of services, entry is $10. With $120 of service, entry is free.
Very clean facilities
Love the food at their restaurant. Huge portions and very tasty
Lots of parking
I grew up in that place—a fantastic Spa and Gym. I remember representing Century Day Spa for a swimming team. Time flies
We got the men’s scrub and deep tissue massage, very painful but at least I feel like my skin feels pretty smooth after. Lots of sauna and tub options to try out. Definitely a fun experience and would come back for more heh.
Best Spa to relax, rejuvenate and re-charge. Super Clean, chill guys there always. No attitudes. Very " on-it" attendants. Can't wait to go back!
This place is pretty awesome. There almost no talking which is really relaxing. The men's area has a large hot tub, am outdoor lounge arealot of different rooms. I love the heated clay tile room, and of course the eucalyptus steam room, which is the most crowded for a reason. Overall a great way to spend the day as long as you're REALLY comfortable with nudity. Some guys wear towels, many do not.
There's also a clothed co-ed area upstairs where you can get great massages and treatments, and the heated salt room is very therapeutic. There are even sleeping rooms, a restaurant, an outdoor Smoking Area. If you're adventurous or curious or just love being naked then you'll like it.
This spa is extremely clean and spacious. They have everything from eucalyptus steam rooms, dry saunas, cold rooms, heat logs and spas. There are plenty of rooms to relax in no matter what kind of spa you like. There are also showers and a large area with toothbrushes and hair care products etc. There are also nap rooms and a large lover room area. Upstairs there is a really good restaurant with some great food. The hostess was amazing at telling us what food we should try and she even bought some samples over while we waited for our food; so we could taste some dishes that we had never had before.
The gym is honestly a hidden gem . They have everything you may need for a good workout. The cherry on top is being able to unwind in one of the spas located at the top floor !
Loved this place! Really nice, clean facilities and plenty of saunas. I personally loved the Himalayan salt room. It had beautiful pink salt bricks backlit in one while wall. So beautiful! My friends and I came in for the massage and scrub deal for $70. This is an amazing deal for how pampered and soft I felt afterwards. I will definitely be returning!
Been going to this place for years. Still love it. While the front desk staff is kinda cranky this place is still awesome. The owner is very nice. It's kept clean and the body scrub is great. And its such a deal. There's ample parking and the prices are great. I'm still a huge fan.
Its clean & relaxing. Clientele is 99% gay on the men's side. It's a huge place with all amenities including a restaurant place upstairs. I go often and always enjoy the visit.
If you aren't gay.... better choose a different place. But if you're gay.... this is the place!
Got the milk scrub and cream massage combo for sensitive skin. Scrub still left my skin irritated but massage was good. Not the most relaxing of experiences. Spa facilities were just OK. Steam room stopped working at some point. Lived up to the mixed reviews.
It's a little bit more quieter than WI Spa!!! Older surroundings but big and spaces. I have been told by men there are a lot of gays.
I'm a woman so I wouldn't know period but for a woman side is very nice.
Lots of amenities, lovely place to unwind.
Century is amazing. The amenities are wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the facility is kept very clean. I don't have recent first-hand experience with the massage services, but several friends love them. Me, I just go to relax, hang out naked with friends, and sometimes enjoy the eye candy.
A word about sexuality: Century has become a favorite spa for the gay crowd. It can be cruisy, with guys scoping each other out. It's completely easy to ignore if you're just there to relax. If you're weirded out by such things, maybe go somewhere else. But the worst behavior is usually kept to the steam room, where you can't see two feet in front of you anyway. Personally, though I don't get physical with others there, it doesn't bother me. I think Americans are far too puritanical about sexuality, when it's the one thing we all have in common!
Besides the men's only section, there's a really impressive coed jimjilbang, with additional saunas and a restaurant. I don't usually go up there, but again, some of my friends love it.
There is also a gym facility and pool if you want to workout before you relax, and it's okay, but I've only used it once.
If I have a complaint, it's that the large jacuzzi is too chlorinated. If the water feels slippery, that's too much chlorine. And recently if I stay for more than a couple hours, my eyes get all red from it. I should mention it to the manager but I keep forgetting to bother. It's not a giant issue.
Great place. The hot areas were hot and the cool plunge pool is excellent.
Nice spa with hot and cold rooms. $25 entrance with massage services available. Co-ed area is available but you must wear their uniform clothing given to you for that section. Seperate areas for women and men are available as well with wet steam rooms and dry saunas. Pools and gym also available with entrance. Make sure to read the signs and follow the rules. Towels are limited unless you pay extra. There is also a 2 story level golf shooting range here.
Will visit whenever I’m in LA. Great saunas and the outdoor area is so refreshing.
Big Korean spa huge hot tub actually pool and showers a bit too brightly-lit for my taste. Assortment of sauna room marble tile room, my favorite a Mist room, a steam room. Nice price 25 bucks and there's more if you wish to explore, other services and another floor of co-ed activity. Largely a gay clientele, but not a gay bath sex house
Came here because I didn't realize the olympic spa was women only. Have been to spas in Korea a few times and this was definitely reminiscent of those. Nice variety of pools and rooms, and very relaxed and easy going vibe inside. People were friendly. The nap room / common area costs a few extra bucks, but was worth it. Wish they could get the payment stuff together between the restaurant and the rest of the spa.
a solid 3 stars.
It was a rollercoasters of highs and lows.
1. parking is a bit difficult to navigate but its in the same building as where the golfing range is held.
2. Typically it is $25 for entrance as is most korean spa, unless you buy some sort of treatment or you get lucky and buy it off of Groupon - so look out for those!
3. Inside of the women's spa was a bit gross- tons of lose hair around the showering quarters and dirty ass sinks. I noticed a cleaning lady that came by to fix up small stuff but def. nothing in the showering areas.
4. The coed rooms on the third floor is actually pretty big, very spacious but immediately you feel this heat. Almost stuffy even! It was hard to actually get comfortable and fall asleep or rest in the main lobby with that stuffy feeling! We ended up going to eat in the partner restaurant and it was mainly just to be in a "cooler" situation. Perhaps if they lower their heat just a tad bit it would be perfect!
5. The private sleeping quarters in the joined room was another location where i felt needed a bit of a spoofing as it just felt like tons of randomness could easily happened on those mattress !
6. The gold room was probably one of the neater rooms- it really felt like i was an empress in my castle , very beautifully decorated!
I love this place! It’s big with great amenities, less crowd, and super clean. I deducted a star because the front desk can be rude at times but other than that I absolutely love coming here to relax
Wonderful - very large - spa and getaway from the city in the city! Highly recommend it
This place is great. Good spa service options and spa amenities. The staff and the owner are very pleasant. I highly recommend.
The men's side has more amenities than many other spas in the area. Unfortunately management doesn't really seem to care about aesthetic so it has a bit of a well used patina.
1st Korean indoor golf range It's old news, Sure there's more nicer place But 4 dollar a bucket 😊 Free parking restaurant coffee😘 …
Miss Connie did a great job I got the milk scrub and massage I feel like a new woman!
Century spa is great! We make the drive up from San Diego about once a month for their awesome spa.
It's definitely a bonus that they have a restaurant with great food too.
Omg. The most beautiful men in all of LA steaming, soaking and sweating all over the place. Sunday was PACKED, naked and glorious.
Awesome spa with a variety of different rooms and saunas to experience, as well as treatments available. I’m so glad they’ve reopened.
Wonderful place and always so clean! I can’t wait for it to fully reopen again!! Really something for everyone, and amazing masseurs and masseuses! Always relaxing and soothing!
Love the facuility and staff, great place to come and just take a load off or two.
If this spa is required to follow an unjust law, you do not have a problem with the business, you have a problem with the state government. This particular law was signed by Schwarzenegger. The problem lies with the political party he represented.
Good facilities, different types of saunas, spacious jacuzzi, outdoor refreshing corner, hot steam sauna.
3 stars for the fact that when i called and spoke to the rep, he said they closed 3am on Mondays. And Tuesdays. And Wednesdays. Wellllllll it was about that time i began to question the validity of the spa's claim of 24hr service, and hung up. I haven't yet ventured over in person.....Check for yourself ya'll
I love the country Spa it is wonderful change to clean not a lot of people there this sea scrub in the massage I probably was in heaven
I remember when that corner use to be a VONS super market and for several years a korean spa now ,this area has changed alot over the year's and not for the better,
Love this place! Not for the faint at heart but if you stay out of the back of the steamroom it's just like any other spa :)
Excellent customer service my dad has been coming here since it was built he's 100 years old Charles also loves this place we watch the Olympics 2018 pyeongchang great televisions clean beautiful day and night Spa I recommended this wonderful Spa
Wonderful gym, the spa is well equipped and maontained. For your money, a better deal than planet fitness.
Relaxing and peaceful. I don't get how people can stay there for hours on end but whatever. If man on man action freaks you out then this may not be the place for you.
I have gone here for years, and the massages are always amazing! I love the makeover the business had, it is aesthetically beautiful!
Everybody seemed very friendly, the front desk staff could smile a little more but I enjoyed my relaxing time there.
My favorite place to get a massage, I always get two massages when I go. The place is very clean. When ever I go to LA I always go there.
So relaxing! Unassuming, comfortable old school spa with great soaking tubs, sauna and steam PLUS a pool and gym
Ah the soak! Clean and relaxing. Always try to get at least a body scrub when I'm here.
The place is ok but wish they they had only men for pool section at certain hours it's always co Ed
Its very nice and clean place highly recommend to come
The staf are friendly and smiling all the time
The body scrubs are amazing, love them.
really nice and relaxing
One of the better co Ed Korean spas. They have a golf course here too!
Coed floor was clean, saunas were hot. Gym is well equipped
Amazing, I never come to LA without treating myself to a little pampering.
Good body scrubs and message.
Nice place to relax after a busy work day
Nice amenities and friendly staff, very chill vibe...
Love, love, this place.
I'm returning in a few weeks.
My favorite place. I almost dont want to leave a review so it stays a secret.
The place is starting to look like it can use a good deep scrub/disinfection.
Great spot. Clean and well maintained. I go frequently
Clean and quiet
Awesome place to have a steak and soak. I come here every time I visit LA
I enjoy the space. It's a great place to go to with a group as well.

I always have an amazing time with I come to CENTURY, it’s my favorite way to treat myself when I come to this part of the city. The facilities are clean and kept up and the staff is readily available if there are any concerns.
The gym downstairs is often overlooked but it’s one of the best equipped gyms you can find anywhere, including a lap pool (swimsuits required)! I usually start with a full workout before heading up to the bathing area. The spa floor has a three pools, a mist room, a dry sauna, steam room, clay room, marble room, AND outdoor area, all clothing free so you can just relax and melt into your body. I recommending cycling through the sauna, cold plunge, and jacuzzi for a gorgeous sensory experience. Get the Bulgolgi Beef (double meat) upstairs in the restaurant, it is excellent!
Weekdays during the day seem to be the best time to visit. The weekends and evenings can be busy, although even on busy days I can find my bliss. I’ve visited a few other Korean spas and this one is, by far, my favorite!
This place has endured and made the city much better for doing so. Everything else closed in the pandemic and this place survived.
Owner is present and cares a lot about the place. Good to see. Was only here for 90 minutes but I enjoyed my time.
Nice service
Amazing place to visit. Edward and the staff are very welcoming kind, people are great, and it's very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend
There are a lot of gay men on the men's side, so it's a bit... I like the women's sauna because there aren't many people. It's famous for being unfriendly at the front desk!
The ground parking space is narrow and the toilet is inconvenient. Transportation is good.
It's quiet, cool, and there aren't many people, so it's good for practicing.
I don't know much about the sauna, but I've been using the golf driving range for over 10 years, and I don't think it's bad compared to the price.
comfortable and clean
The range ball price is good.
The rest of the facilities are very old and need repairs.
A very cozy, pleasant and very hygienic place I honestly recommend it
Good for quiet enjoyment. I take away one star for not being friendly.
Latina in front of you
very kind
very clean and people
I like it because there are not many
Erm~~
clean and quiet
Convenient use of facilities
Mmmmmm
I like that it's close to home
Slightly different spa from Korea
It is a clean place
It feels like home
