I wanted to give myself some self care and gift myself something for the new year and my birthday coming up. Decided to have a refresher for my previously plumped lips from last year! I wanted to try another practitioners and found The Pura Life on Groupon. I’m not the type of person scared to try anything from it as majority of the businesses just need to expand their clientele, hence, they offer good deals. I did my booking right after purchasing the deal and their website was so user friendly! After a few days, I had to move my appointment but there was no cancel or reschedule button. I decided to message them and it went on Facebook Messenger. My rescheduling was dealt in minutes! It was so convenient! They send out reminder emails and texts which is also nice! Come my appointment day, I found out that they were located near the 59/69 freeway on South Shepherd! They are along a residential area and residences-turned-offices. Parking was convenient as there were spots for clients! When I got in, I was treated joyfully by their receptionist and had me do paperwork on ipad that she explained thoroughly! They took before and after photos and took me to a cozy treatment area. Everything was so clean! There was another nurse that pre-approves you; then you get set up for treatment with numbing. I then met my doctor and nurse who I recognized on their funny tiktoks for their instagram. They were so pleasant! They explained to me what to expect and asked me for my preferences! She listens to what the patient wants. DR CHERYL HASEEB’s hands were so gentle, I didn’t feel much of a pain. They also gave me stress balls which I didn’t need after all. Checkout was easy and the receptionist also explained to me that they have membership offers which i really liked for the value! The doc also wanted me to go back for a check up in two weeks. I am so so happy I found this place and definitely will try other services! Highly recommend! They also texted me what to avoid to recover successfully! They were all so nice and friendly!!! Loved my first experience!

She is quick, efficient, but is also patient, pays attention to all the little details and really tries to perfect her work every time. I discovered PurA while I was searching for an injecting training that gave both didactic and hands on training. I was intrigued to find out I wasn’t only able to have hands on training with an actual patient but 4 patients! Dr. Cheryl is such a great mentor and guides you through every step. She shares a variety of techniques to help determine what is most comfortable for the patient and the injector. Dr. Cheryl is so welcoming with her bubbly personality! She definitely makes her students feel comfortable and confident in learning a new skill. I can not wait to learn more from her! I was lucky enough to be a Botox model for one of their apprentices and had the best experience. The educator was patient, answered all of my questions, and made me feel very comfortable. The apprentice had the lightest touch that I've experienced with injections but most importantly my results are amazing! I can't wait to go back and try other services that they offer. Thanks Pura!

The first person you see when you first enter an office or any business is the most important person. This person sets the tone for the experience, and Pura nails it! I am greeted with warmth, familiarity, and high energy. As your’e taken to a peaceful, softly lit, relaxing waiting room, your injector or all of them come in to say hi at one point and really make you feel welcomed. As far as the appointment goes, these women really listen to you, your needs, any concerns and come up with the treatment or services to deliver the best results. Their work is effective, yet subtle and confidence boosting. The experience altogether is a balance of professionalism, warmth, genuine service to others and competence.

I went to PurA for the first time in December 2022. I was met with a warm Welcome and immediate attention from the very friendly staff when I arrived. The check-in and forms to fill out was very efficient to the point. Shrutu did a medical check-up that was also very efficient. I was coming for neurotoxin (Xeomin) injections and Dr. Cheryl injected me. She is The Kindest, Best and most Gentle Injector I have ever been treated by and I appreciated the absence of melting ice running down my face and neck (no ice was necessary, No pain!). Great Information pre/per and post injections and follow-up reminder information with precautions was sent to me as text after I left. Highly recommended❣️I will be back👍🏻👍🏻

I am now a forever patient at Pura Medical Aesthetics!!!!!! I give it a 100 stars! I’m 44 & starting seeing a lot of sagging skin in my jowls areas & other parts of my face. I became very self conscious about it & wasn’t sure if anything could be done to improve it. I heard about Dr. Cheryl from a friend and was told she was the top doctor in Houston for a PDO threading procedure that lifts problem areas of sagging skin on the face. I’m not trying to get a face lift in my 40’s, so I decided that this was definitely something I wanted to learn more about. I went in for my appointment & was immediately impressed by she & her staff. Dr. Cheryl is very knowledgeable in her field, she’s kind and is like an artist! You can see how passionate she is about what she does. She takes time to look at your face and is very honest on what she feels you should and should not do. She will make suggestions on ares she sees could use a little something like Botox or filler magic, but does not try to sell you on things you don’t need. She added a few units of Botox to my forehead and some filler in my chin which really looked good & made such a difference! She knew what she was talking about! She took her time educating me on the PDO threading and we both agreed that this procedure was a good way to go for the result I was seeking. She was very gentle & checked on how I felt throughout the entire process. I was so excited afterwards. I saw immediate results! It was AMAZING! It was everything she said it would be. This was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be going to see her for my Botox, fillers & anything else I need. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone who cares and is extremely talented in multiple areas. Oh, and she’s funny! I’m will have to break up with my plastic surgeon who does my Botox & filler because I am now a forever patient of Dr. Cheryl!

I was so nervous prior to starting my mentorship program with her however, she made me feel very comfortable and I feel I have truly benefited greatly by shadowing her. As a new aesthetic NP it is also very important to get hands on experience which I got with neurotoxins, fillers, lasers, PDO, chemical peels etc. Dr Cherlyl is very knowledgeable, she loves teaching and sharing her experiences. I love this place! They offer all the services I was seeking for a no surgery Mommy Make Over and the pricing/subscription plan is a crazy deal! My procedures have all gone well and the results were great (sometimes shockingly great—way past what I thought was possible). The best part for me, though, is the staff. From the patient coordinator, Marie, whose bubbly enthusiasm makes everything fun & easy, to Tea, the lead aesthetician, who took the time to get to know me and customize my treatment, I always feel cared for —never rushed or like I’m just another nameless client. I totally recommend this place! I had never done a peel before but my aesthetician Tea was great! For starters she tweezes out your tiny hairs for you before any peel! Trista, the patient coordinator, answered all my questions I had about injections and I also mentioned to her that I had severe acne issues so she first had me meet Jamie NP to discuss my adult acne and talk about my at home routine. They take insurance for acne patients so I plan to come back and get with Jamie NP to get on the right path since I have horrible hormone skin breakouts due to my endometriosis. If you’re reading this, this is your sign to finally get that lip filler (or other procedure) that you’ve been wanting done here. Dr.Cheryl Haseeb did a fantastic job on my lip fillers they look very natural so you can just let go of any kind of fear you have about ending up looking like candy wax lips or a pouting duck, you will look great I promise. The facility itself will make you feel like you’re treating yourself just by being there it is clean and well decorated and does not have that cold, hyperclinical, hospital vibe that goes along with some other facilities. Additionally, you can tell that the staff hold safety above everything else which is the most important thing and not universal but from checking for contraindications to prepping with hibicleanse to aftercare instructions and everything in between they covered every safety measure. Staff was also kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating, I struggle with physical disabilities and every step was taken to make sure I was comfortable and safe.

I have heard that you must be a little skeptical of places on Groupon because some places will dilute products etc. My friend had such a great experience, I thought why not give it a shot?! Well, I went in and got Dysport Injected into my 11s and some lip lines above my lips. This was my first time ever getting anything like this done so, I was a bit nervous going in but, Dr. Cheryl and Nurse Jamie were very patient, & great at answering all my questions and making me feel at ease. I went to PurA Life because I had the ability to book and pay online even before going in. The space is cozy but their setup is modern. The frosted glass rooms are private and clean. I really love the location because you can get your vitamin shots and then head over for some ice cream in Rice Village Arcade afterwards.
