I booked Emi to get my hair cut. She has a very warm, kind hearted personality. She made it easy for me to relax and let my day’s tension leave my mind. She did a fantastic job leaving the length I wanted and still managing to get rid of split ends and make my hair overall look very polished. I can’t wait to go back and see her at our next appointment!

Hoala spa was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time. The ambience was beautiful and although I had to rush through and couldn't enjoy all of the offerings, the staff made me feel so relaxed and honored my time! It was one of the best massages and experiences i have had in a very long time! Pricey but highly recommended!!!

I decided to try a new hair salon. I have baby fine hair so I asked “who” has experience with this type of hair. Scotty was recommended. He is amazing. He is very professional and friendly. He is a master hairstylist. This salon & spa also offers massages, pedi/medi’s. Check out their website for all the services offered. The atmosphere is very inviting. They offer water and tea while you wait for your appointment. I‘m glad I gave them a try!

I had a truly wonderful day spa experience at Hoala Salon and Spa. The stylist Andrea put beautiful blonde highlights in my hair, was fun to chat with, and has a very reasonable price point. Afterwords, I had the best massage of my life from Terri. She really has a gift. The spa experience was made even more magical with plush robes, essential oils, and a beautiful atmosphere.

It's a one stop salon... you can truly send the entire day here from getting your hair and nails done to relaxing with a massage and enjoying the steam room. I love the Aveda smell walking into the salon and the warm and friendly greeters. I would recommend have a service here. I have gotten my hair cut and colored by Gabbie and color with also Janelle. They are talented hairstylists!

Amazing pedicure. Honesty, I got the best pedicure of my life today from Satoko. She was meticulous in her attention to detail with my cuticles and polish, and her leg massage almost put me to sleep. She’s a gem! The spa is friendly and well kept. I would definitely return.

Nail technician was incredible, highly recommend if you have a fancy event or just want a really nice manicure and pedicure. Was definitely on the pricey side. As far as hair, went in for a root to tip blonde highlights and came out with a balayage. Hair did not look bad, but was not what I asked for. Upset because the price of the service was $300, and I left with dark roots. Will NOT be back!

AMAZING! I'm here on vacation for a family wedding and needed an updated style QUICK! Scotty made me feel like me again. I have very fine, straight, limp hair and he worked his magic and I'm thrilled. The spa is a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with the mall and Neiman Marcus is closed,so allow extra extra time. :) Thank you for giving me back some spunk!

Tina is a great hair stylist, very talented and personable. Even though my straightened style didn't hold too long (never does with my flyaway hair), it was fun to have a more polished look while it lasted and to get some photos. Best of all, my dogs were allowed to sit next to me while I got styled. The products here all smell amazing and the turmeric tea they give you during the session is healthy and yummy!

Love this salon! I got a spa day for my birthday and it included the best massage ever and an amazing facial. It ended with a haircut that made me switch hair stylist. I use to go somewhere else but love the way Luna styled my hair. I would recommend to everyone!

Hoala salon is absolutely the best! No matter what the treatment you are going in for they make you feel so special. It's like a quiet and relaxing getaway. I have been there many times for facials and massages without ever being disappointed. I have been to 4 star hotels for the same service and Hoala salon ranks right up there with the best. I highly recommend the salon.

They took us last minute and did an amazing job and both of the women were so sweet and gentle. Also, hot towels that were actually hot! Update - two weeks later and my toes still look like they were just done. This place is expensive but your pedicure will last. I'm impressed and would return in a heart beat.

Excellent first experience! A little pricey but similar to Paul Brown Salon. What sets Hoala above is the special treatment they gave me in the massage before and after the shampoo. They didn't make me feel rushed. Their calm demeanor made me feel special.

I have been to many spa's and I have to share just how wonderful Hoala Spa is. I've tried body treatments and scrubs, massages, facials and hair services. I've always enjoyed it. The spa is clean and relaxing, the products are high quality and the aesthitians, therapists, front desk, nail techs, hairstylists...well everyone....is exceptional. It shows what good management they have.

I love this salon. It's always quiet and cozy when I go in. I was very excited to move to the island and find an Aveda nearby. I have such sensitive skin and love their products as I never break out or have negative reactions, thus making me an Aveda-exclusive chick. I go to Wilma regularly for trims and she's the BEST. She works so well with my hair and is a blow-out queen. I haven't had my hair colored by her (yet!) but she does amazing coloring work as well if you look at her cliental profile. Mahalo for the consistency in my hair care, I thoroughly look forward to my regular "dusting" appointments with Wilma as I have been trying to grow out my hair the past year. My husband even noted how healthy my hair has been since seeing her regularly ... and that's saying something.

I love going to the Ho'ala Salon and Spa!. There are many different services to choose from. (My favorites are the facials and massages.). The facials and massages feel so relaxing and refreshing. The spa's atmosphere makes me wish I could stay there all day. It's a must try for locals and visitors alike.

Ho‘ala Salon & Spa provides me with the best spa experience every time! From the moment I walk through the doors, my stress starts to melt away with the wonderful aroma of essential oils, and I am treated like a special guest throughout my visit. I love the spa day, especially, with spa, hair and nail services, and spoil myself whenever I can because it really de-stresses me and Ieaves me feeling relaxed and beautiful, inside and out! Their staff is so well-trained so I know I am getting the best services available from true licensed professionals. I also love that they use Aveda products exclusively, and that I can purchase the full line of Aveda products at Ho‘ala to use at home. My bathroom looks like an Aveda store - ha! If you havenʻt figured it out, yet - I LOVE Ho‘ala Salon & Spa!!!

Front desk staff are efficient, courteous and well trained. My service provider, Satoko is not only the finest human being, but is THE BEST at what she does when it comes to mani, pedi, facial etc. The problem I have is that owners aren't willing to repair pedicure chairs as needed. These chairs used to massage, have hot foot bath & whirlpool, but apparently the owners don't want to invest in repairing/replacing them. Big mistake....b/c these features distinguish one salon from another and really added to my experience of enjoyment and relaxation during my service. As things break down, they don't want to fix.....I always wonder what will be next.

I LOVE this salon!! My stylist is Diana and she is very good with color and I love the short hair cut I now have! The staff is very professional, the salon is conveniently located in Ala Moana Center and they are open 7 days a week!! This is an AVEDA salon and I love the products!

The salon, is very relaxing, water & tea is offered during your time there along with a hand and arm massage during your hair wash. The service all around is astounding. Most importantly I want to recognize my hair stylist Janelle. Let me tell you, I have not gotten my hair done in years so I was a bit scared of what the outcome would be but I took the chance. I came to Janelle first for a balayage, which looked fantastic but, I initially wanted a more golden blonde. I came in a second time and she got it exactly how I wanted it. She’s amazing! The care and dedication she gives to her clients makes them want to come back repeatedly. Which I most definitely will be doing. She’s extremely friendly and knows her stuff. I hate to admit it but I come to Hawaii to get my hair done by Vince. Why? Because I realize that I am worth it. I live a simple life on the mainland but when it comes to my hair, few people know how to cut very thick, and individually thick Japanese Hair where I live. Also Vince is not about being a hair Artist. He sees himself as a transformer. He is a magician. He is very skillful- a Master at his craft. He is about being a condition for my happiness. He understands he can be a strong condition for my looking good by listening carefully to what I want. He is positive and doesn't gossip. Gossip destroys lives and is a very bad habit. He allows me to enjoy his care in silence. Don't get me wrong, I don't spend much time on make up, clothes or hair. I teach simplicity, peace, integrity, community and Equality as a Quaker and the Dharma as a way of thinking as a Buddha Path teacher. But there is a middle way between vanity and complete disregard for one's body and appearance. If you are spending an hour a day or more on your hair, clothes make up, etc you have not yet realized that no matter what the wrapping looks like if the contents smell bad everyone knows. On the other hand, if you are too depressed or negative about yourself, then that self hatred shows up in how you look, dress and comport yourself. There is a middle way. Vince knows that I have a very limited income of less than $26,009 a year. But I live very simply most of the time and I have enough savings and frequent flyers to come to Hawaii to vacation, see my Family and see Vince once a year. My family are in their 90's and they are very precious to me. For every hour I spend in front of the mirror may I remember with gratitude their kindness to me and cut that time in half and spend the other half with them.
