Reviews of Universal CityWalk Hollywood
Cameron
This place is hopping at night! Lots of shops and amazing restaurants for the choosing.
We took a late night stroll through the City Walk Hollywood to see it lit up at night.
Super fun and safe environment. Extremely clean and lots of options for everyone. A great mix of high to low end restaurants to choose from.
Rodrigo Oliveira (Rod)
Fantastic place to hangout with friends for a drink or two. There was a lot of nice shops for drinks, coffee and food.
Easy to reach by car, and public transport as the metro is just down the road.
I absolutely enjoyed my visit and I do recommend anyone visiting LA to pop by and see it! Not to mention about the incredible views of LA surroundings from there! Just Fab!
Ashley L.
Pretty cool entertainment area with lots of eateries & sweet spots and a movie theater. Parking at the lowest is $30 & is a little hike to get from the garage to the walk. (Best bet is to take the elevator to get down faster than the escalators take you.) A few of the restuarants were closed & there were no performances or anything special going on. We went on a Thursday so maybe that's why. All in all it's a nice spot to hang out if you don't mind spending so much for parking.
Rachel R
I went in the evening without buying a pass to the actual park and it was amazing! Lights, lights, lights galore! We also caught some fireworks that were being set off in the park. I drove and it only cost $10 for all day parking. Would recommend!
Madison Chaddock
I love strolling down CityWalk. Restaurants, shops, huge decorations (the iconic King Kong!), and seeing all the kids running around the splash pad area makes it a welcome treat before entering the park. I've eaten at several of the restaurants here and they never disappoint. Of course, the price can be a bit of sticker shock, since it's part of a theme park in the middle of Los Angeles, but if you can afford it, I really recommend checking out some of the places to eat!
GetawayGirl
Try to be there in the evening so you may enjoy some live performances and the street lights. They have some amazing shops and food court. You may also enjoy movie in AMC. So if you don’t want to get into the actual park you can visit this place. This place has indoor skydiving, so please check their slots availability. It’s a open place so NO ENTRY FEES
Marla M.
Universal City Walk is a nice place for walking around, there is a food court, restaurants, movie theaters, unique shops, Super Mario store, candy stores, and Universal Store. The parking is extremely overpriced at $30 (general parking). If you are adventurous and don't mind using public transportation, the B Line(formally known as the Red Metro line) has a stop to Universal City. Then, you will need to cross the street and there is a Universal tram stop that drops you off at City Walk.
Darwin Gonzalez
Nice place to visit many nice shops to see and very colourful at night. This is right next to universal studios and it’s a really fun place to visit, you have all kind of shops, clothes, coffee shops, restaurants…. I would recommend checking out this place it has a nice atmosphere.
Healthy NewLook
Always a nice place to eat and stroll around with friends and family. Not much crowd during New Year’s Eve. Watched the fireworks. Expected $20 for parking but $30… for few hours , didn’t expect that.
Andrea Prieto
This place is free to go but you need to pay for parking. There is so much here. First time and I was amazed. I Can compare it to The Mall of America in Minnesota. So many cool stores. Family friendly. Adult friendly. You could spend the whole day here. It’s not gigantic but perfect amount. Great food options within.
Guadalupe Huerta
Had the year pass and went as much as possible. Loved the shops rides and shows. Time goes very fast and one day is not enough to see everything. Be prepared to walk and stand in line so wear comfortable shoes. Don't forget to carry a bottle of water 😉 …
Genevieve Jackson
City walk was like walking in an amazing dream. Everybody was on a high, including old folks like me. My son kept thanking me for the experience. Most definitely when with kids you need a loaded wallet. LOL
Gary C
I have been coming to Universal City Walk ever since it opened. Lately, it's not what it used to be because of the lockdowns. LA has not been the hot spot it used to be before the pandemic. There's still a lot of people, but not as much as before. Nonetheless, everything is kept nice and there is a security/police presence which allows people to feel safe.
Kevin Techmeier (Mein Seoul)
Pretty cool place for tourists. Lots of tourist type restaurants and stores here. The movie theater is closed, and the performance stage looked torn down. There is construction going on currently for some new shops. If you're looking to kill some time, here's your place. Parking is pricy though. $30 for general parking.
Lord Giggles
Awesome place to explore and enjoy. Family friendly. Tons of rides like Jurassic World, The Mummy, Hogwarts to name a few. Come early cause the lines can get long.
Jessica Harris
Great shops and restaurants here. Have excellent choices from sit down to fast food options. It is a really fun place to explore. I love they have places to fit everyone's price point.
Bre Boise
Sooooooo no one tells you that this isn't inside the park.... And you do not have to pay me admission to visit..... I drove 4 hours to come here just for VOODOO DONUTS, did I get it? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. Did I buy tickets to the park and wonder around aimlessly for hours before getting there? Also yes.
Hinduja Kumar
Good entertainment and Area with lot of eateries that are cheaper than Hollywood studios! The king king and other decorations in city walk and amazing! They are many coffee shops, Sephora and clothing shops here!
Abed Taha
If you just want to walk there which is a very short walk compared the one in Orlando. Food is no good here, eat before you go there.
Parking after 5 is $10 I got there 5 minutes before so we just turned around the block and went back better than paying $30 for parking. 👌 but there is barely anything to do at the city walk but couple shopping places and food.
Juan Gabriel Figueroa
It's a great experience every time. Love that they have variety of attractions, rides and shows everything is perfect for all ages and likes!
Otto Chavarria
It's was okay, the only problem that I always see is that the time to wait in line is ridiculous specially for kids. 2 hours in line or 3 depending on the ride. The waiting time that shows on each ride is not accurate. You spend more time than the one is showing.
If you enter to 5 rides you are lucky. You should get there as soon as they open otherwise, good luck.
They should check the limited capacity so everyone can enjoy the rides specially the Kids.
KIDS always complain for it. If you don't want to deal with it, buy the fast pass. I guess that is the main reason why universal does that, so they can sales their fast passes. 🤷♂️
I went on a weekend, so I guess was a wrong selection to visit the park. I think is better during weekdays less crowded
Glenda Smith
Only 3 stars, although a great experience for kids it's not worth the wait times, parking, and admission prices. Then if you want to beat the wait times their response is to pay even more ridiculous prices. I only went for half a day but my advice is to plan in advance to stay close by take the shuttle get the 3 day tickets on Groupon or LApass.
Javier Jaimes Burgos
Awesome place, an unforgettable experience... Big fan of Harry Potter's books and movie's...!
In 1995 visited the Orlando's Florida park, so this visit was really good and outstanding...!
Lee Minett
A good range of restaurants and shops (depending on what you're looking for). The food court is located at the back of CityWalk, up the stairs. Try to find reservations for restaurants to save waiting in the queues.
Camille Smith
What a great place to visit. Even if you aren't entering into the Universal Park the Walk is worth checking out. Loads of shopping with memorabilia that will bring a smile to your face. Every detail was well thought out and there is so much to see and try to place the movie it is from.
Zeina Farah
You will be there most probably as a tourist so crowded hours and weather won't matter for you, but if they do, skip the walk by day and come around sunset until late evenibg to just enjoy the lights, the walk, the breeze, and some good food
Andy Price
Enjoyed it. Plenty of places to eat - chocolate factory restaurant due to open soon. Of the two I probably prefer the Florida city walk but still worth a visit.
Vin K
Beautiful cityscape walk in front of the universal studio Hollywood with various brands and also CityWalk stage and Universal Theatre for premiere shows. Also has choices of various restaurants for tourists. Place will come to life at night with music and vibrant lighting
Björn Krasemann
What an amazing place. We are so happy to have seen this. And honestly speaking, mich more relaxed and better than Disneyland
GMZ ROOL MY LIFE
This is for the VIP Universal Studios experience.
Definitely have to Pony up for the VIP Experience..we saved so much time and stress, back pain. Our guide, Peter was sweet, friendly and very informative. My teen sons bday was soon, he got a pin stating bday with his name.
The Mummy, transformers, jurassic world,( my fave ride) Harry Potter( lots of movements, i got nauseated and I'm not a light weight), Harry Potter 2nd was so short, everyone at the end said, " that's it??!!!". I'm just glad we didn't have to do the hour long wait, lol. Felt bad for those people. the panda show ( forgot name)- more for younger kids, Waterworld,( suggest sitting in the " soaked" section to get the best water experience, lots of heat too) were the rides and shows we saw. We were so tired we didnt wait until 9p to see the harry potter wall show( name?). Our VIP Experience also gave us some light breakfast, free waters, and a AAA lunch buffet ( take some gallon ziploc bags to take food to snack later! with Doc from Back to the future and Dracula visiting our table.. both very fun. All of the Simpson, hello kitty, Minion/Despicable Me, movies in general, you could ever want. Would highly recommend being your own snack, drinks. The souvenirs... wait until you're headed out so u don't have to carry them everywhere. We got about 10k steps in our tour 915a to 4ish.. and they validate your valet parking. Strollers allowed, or if u want to use theirs, u can park in certain areas as they have cameras
***The only thing I would suggest to them is for the price we pay, we should get to take photos with all the characters without having to wait in line. Harry Potter restaurant food was not that great, few choices.
On the VIP tram tour, we sat on the left side, good idea except in the Jaws part the people in the right got a better view of the shark coming out of the water. I would suggest not making any other plans the rest of the day and possibly do towards latter part of day to see the Harry Potter display 9p is, so maybe 3 or 4p. When we were leaving 5ish, there were a lot of people in line to enter! Wishing you the best family experience. My son is 15 and will be studying film soon and he loved it.

The Universal Citywalk at Los Angeles City is located at 100 Universal City Plaza, is a amazing center for fun for all ages but mainly for childrens and teenagers that can enjoy all structure that were builted only for this purpose.
If you are a fan of movies as Henry Potter, Transformers, The Mumy, The Simpsons, Jurassic Park, The Minions and a lot of others movies from the Universal Studios you'll love this place, that also have many stores of food, bevereages, gifts etc.
Certainly it is a good place to go, use spare times and enjoy it. I recommend it.

We were staying in Studio City and a friend recommended that we visit the Universal CityWalk one evening. Really glad we did! I'd recommend catching a movie at the AMC Theater in the early evening, so that by the time your movie is finished, you can have a stroll along the walk and see everything lit up. The Popcornopolis sign was super cool, as was the water fountain/feature. Plenty of spots to eat and shop, though more independent/local eateries would be coll to see. If you've spent a day at Universal Studios, definitely visit here after. It's just up from the Universal globe (which is an iconic photo spot). TIP - if you reserve tickets for a movie at the AMC, you can park in the parking lot for $5.
Esteban Guerrero
It was fun!! Had been YEARS since I had last visited. (In all honesty though, expensive and would of rather used the $$ and time for a hike or exploring a new trail) keep mother nature clean!!❤️🔥 …
Sukanya Saha
The city walk was fun. The guide was very funny and he described everything in details with movie names with the whole back story of the shoot. The wait time however wasn't fun at all specially because we went on Sunday, 3rd July.
Joshua S
City Walk is one of the most unique locations in LA. They offer a wide variety of stores and restaurants. Most definitely recommend during Christmas time.
LUSVIN LOPEZ
Super clean, good restaurants. Must go with fam or with friends or with anyone. Even yourself. Good environment. 👍🏼 …
Juan Maximiliano Vega Gimenez
Fun and amazing, if you love more exciting or dangerous rollercoaster this is not the place, it is for first timers and childrens mostly. I enjoyed each ones of the zones from Harry Potter to Transformers, from the Mummy to Jurassic Park...and the Simpsons was supreme!
uday kumar
Beautifully decorated and wide variety of restaurants and stores. There are no entry fees and stays open late until 9 or 10pm.
Ronald Dolsky
Really cool entrance to Universal Studios area. Lots of restaurants, a movie theater, shopping...and all adding to the Universal Studios theme. Even better, it's free to enter whether you go to Universal or not as it's technically a separate area.
still him
It was amazing! everything was so interesting about it, the dome, the places, it was the most best city walk I've ever experienced so far, it was great!
Gaia Gaia
Amazing place to go with family, friends, solo. The parking was $30!!! I thought it was ridiculously expensive. They said we can get some rebate at the movie theater, but we just went there to walk around. Maybe it's just me, but it's just parking people, it's no food, no entertainment lol
Eric Schmittle
Super fun place to hang out and get dinner or drinks. Went to Johnny Rockets with my flight crew, had a really well made old fashioned and a great burger. Definitely spend some time here before or after going to Universal Studios
Tomas Orellana 2.0
Lots of people ant lots of stores, sometimes you will have to wait long times specially on weekends and Fridays, but usually during the weekdays it's pretty chill and fast, also if you go during a holiday or when students don't have classes the place will be full.
But other than that it's a great experience that will surely be in your memories for a long time, I recommend going with your friends.
Bryce Hendrickson
When we go to Universal we always allot time to eat and go through the shops, haven't watched a movie here yet but plan on trying it in the future. There are many eateries, novelty stores and a few activities like sky diving experience and hydro massage. There is a nice sized clean locker area that can hold your stuff while shopping or in the park. Universal CityWalk is a photo opportunity from one end to the other.
Jonathan Tuil
Love City walk so much. It’s attached to Universal studios and has tons of activities and shops. A solid movie theater as well with an amazing imax theater and some even have comfy seats that recline. highly recommend if you are going on a walk with friends or family. even a date night it’s overall a vibe. Definitely recommend going to universal studios for the attractions . i went for my 30th birthday back in april and was still so much fun and walked city walk after and shopped
Todd Clasen
Always a great time however in this time of year they close each day early due to Halloween Events Thursday thru Sunday nights which are EXPENSIVE yet don't change the pricing for shortened days. At least make it more affordable for the people who would go to the extra events those days they are at the park.
Seth
OK first off WOW just Wow!!!!! You could literally spend the whole day just here it was amazing and the vibe was nice. Ao many shops and places to eat and things to do
Eugene Wilson
The city walk is self explanatory...it's basically it's own city next to Universal Studios theme park. There's tons to eat about 20-25 restaurants throughout and just as many shops to hang out and have a good time with family. Even if you don't go to the theme park this place is a great date night spot.
Fantasia Star
Had a great time with family and friends! We rode rides, had dinner and saw a movie! Great day!
M Shakib Asghary
The place is lively and lots of foot traffic going to Universal studio. The CityWalk is filled with different shops, a cinema and a food court which is good to grab a bite before or after going to Universal Studios. It's a good walk around in the night.
Sugam Sharma
Just wow!!! Each experience was unique in itself.
I would suggest you to reach by 9am and finish jurassic world, harry potter, transformer, minions, and kung fu panda ASAP otherwise you would have to wait atleast 30-40 min for each.
I went there in the morning and enjoyed most rides without wait
Ryan Palmer
There are a lot of different stores and restaurants here. The movie theater plays all of Universal’s latest releases. You still have to pay a lot to park even if you are just going into CityWalk and not the theme park. The amount of stores can be overwhelming and you can spend a good chunk of the day here.
Tammy Russell
The pics I'm sharing DOES NOT do this place justice. After Universal Studio closes it looks like most people come here to eat, shop, I did see a AMC theater...lots of shops and lots of walking lol..there is an upstairs with like fast food like pizza hut, KFC, panda express..the nicer maybe sit down restaurants are among the hub Bub downstairs. It is a neat place to go with alot of neat shopping. Clean and with its own police station. It was a nice way to end the day.
Ariana Rivera
I have been coming to City Walk for many years, I still enjoy it a lot. Specially Saturdays. I visited the new Grinch store, I liked it!
Parijat Roy
City walk is always a nice place to be in the evening. It is always lively and lots of shops, restaurants to be at. There is a theater as well as many shops. It is a great place to hang out
George G
Who doesn't love Universal Studios? It's always a fun time, and I can't wait for the new Super Mario Land! Plus they have beer if you want to just relax and chill.
the raid was boring so now i have to do it myself
This is part of my "New Yorker in Los Angeles" series.
I've been to Universal CityWalk Orlando. They're about equal. If you haven't been to either one, though, it's worth the visit. I went to the AMC Movie Theater, the Universal Flagship Store, and the Ben & Jerry's. All had lovely staff, clean stores, and were very hospitable despite me having gone so late (I hate being a late shopper!). Regardless, this place is well worth the visit.
Did I mention access is free? I highly recommend taking the Red Line Metro, like I did.
Alexandra Mathiasen
Lots of shops and restaurants. Book ahead for after the park. We did and were seated quickly. Parking is easy if u r early and take a photo of where u park like always. Gets confusing after a long day at the park.
Vicky Rubio
We had a blast at Halloween horror nite with the fast pass. Great scary mazes and spectacular costumes.
CV Vy
Was a fun experience looking at all the Hollywood stars and the constant boisterous atmosphere made it seem like you’re in a movie! The only thing that was quite annoying were the scammers who try and take your money and claim them as “tips”. They will give you a dvd or take photos with you and perceive it as “free” but then ask for you to tip them and they get angry if it’s less than $3!
Maryvel CLAUSTRO
Did the vip tour did this year, totally recommend it .... the private lunch buffet alone make is worth $$ ... plenty of photo ops you wouldn't otherwise get.... would love it if they sold cocktails at lunch...
Ibrahim Abusway
Great for kids and entire family. Lots of choices to sit and eat or just snack as you walk around.
Sue Ream
Clearly built by set designers, this is an awesome place to shop and eat. And it definitely sets the mood to enter the park!
G Null
Amazing and so much bigger than I had thought! We went in the afternoon and the evening. Beautiful lights, so much to see. Many great places to eat. We had a Jamba Juice. Delicious and healthy, but pricey as always.
Ryan “Cabron” L
Went to horror nights before halloween . Waited over an hour and a half for the horror mazes, just for the mazes to be horrible . Felt like they are for children , the mazes were very short for the wait aswell.
R Talav
Use *** "Jurassic Park Valet" *** instead of waiting to pay $30 or more to park. You pay by the hour, its quicker and allows you to enjoy the Citywalk in a couple hours for a little less. Nice to check out. Lots to see and around Halloween...a lot of costumes.
Ramona Jeffery
Went to see Avatar in 3D at the cinema. I always love this environment. Great theater, lots of fun.
Cindy Ly
It's a fun place to walk around but not a fun place to buy food or souvenirs. Overpriced mall with not so many options to choose from.
NATYP
A very nice place to walk and have dinner at night, it is full of lights, I love menchie's and a lot of what it does here. Parking costs $30
Mario Reyes
We enjoy the atmosphere in this place. Quite fun to just hang out, shop, and watch a movie.
D L
Lots of shops and restaurants to check out and enjoyed seeing the Super Nintendo World store there. There's a few more in the park itself as well.
Elvia Cortez
Alwaya something to see, eat and do. This is definitely a one stop shop! Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfect place to hang out with friends after some good food.
Cain L
Pretty neat spot, especially at night. The downside is that parking is $30?!?! Downright greedy.
Plenty of restaurants, shopping, and experiences to be had. Pretty place for some photos too.
Maria Healey
Always a fun place to walk around, shop, and eat without making a trip to the theme park attached. Plenty of dining options from fast service food courts too casual sit down dining and more upscale themed restaurants and bars. Pick up donuts from Voodoo or Italian food from Buca or a shrimp po boy from Bubba Gump. There’s also an indoor sky diving location and a comic book store. The Universal gift shops offer unique items from all your favorite shows and movies including Harry Potter wands and cans of Duff from The Simpsons. So fun! Check it out for yourself. Fair warning: parking can be expensive! Expect to pay $20-30 for that alone.
alexis razo
Even though Harry Potter world is much smaller than thet orlando one, it's my main reason for coming. I do enjoy the park, nice place to walk around, although it is quite small. You could finish the park quickly on a less crowded place. The rides aren't necessarily thrilling but good for the elder, younger children, or people with injuries who can't tolerate coasters. Worth a visit or a pass if close by but nothing spectacular
Maryam Asipa
Beautiful scenes..come with your comfortable walking shoes. I only gave it 4 stars because it can get pretty busy and if you're not a fan of crowds this may not be your thing.
Jose Cardenas
Awesome place. Love the lights. So many shopping and restaurant options.
L.A. Smith
Great stores and restaurants! Decorated for Christmas when we went. The bright lights of the store signs and billboards look awesome at night.
Richele Case
Went for my first time Sunday. It was a little crowded but that's too be expected. But i completely loved it and will be getting season passes next year for sure
Tesha Jacobs
I've never walked around universal during the day. It was so enjoyable. I was like a kid in a new place. Can't wait to go back!
Laith Abu-Taleb
It’s super nice and alive with lights and lots of stores and restaurants.
I enjoyed it a lot after my visit to the park and after a long day of the rides, it was nice to sit their and relax.

Citywalk is very amazing experience walking around many restaurants and store to buy some are same from inside the park and merch to buy as well, they have lockers to put stuff away I bought a few merch from there but will definitely attend again and buy more next time I go.
Noel Cherfan
Nice place to spend some time, specially in peak Time at the universal studios you can find some good variety of restaurants to eat.
mohamed kamil habibullah

We love Ifly. We went there and it wasnt that crowded in CityWalk the weather was perfect. Nice time indeed!
Subhi Yunes
Must give it a try! Specially if you have kids they will enjoy the most

Nice place good shops and food before heading into the universal theme park
Art McConneha
Very clean, friendly staff and fun events and shows.
Rose Jaco
It's always a pleasure going back here every time we get the chance. The annual year pass is totally worth it.
Robb Yanagihara
The Universal City Walk Christmas vibe is great. Fun holiday shopping and at the right time, you see the Hogwarts fireworks over the AMC Theater.
Robin Vincent
It was fun. Would love to see some type of fans or misters to keep it cooler..
Alyssa Angela
Had an Amazing time at Hollywood Horror Night's at Universal Studios. Can't wait to visit the park again.
Jasmine Hernandez
Love the host she did an amazing job. This tour was awesome. A little updated but still how I remember it when I was younger. Really cool to see where they do shows or scenes for movies.
Nathan Wilder
Fun and cool places to eat at, cool second floor food court, and a cool geek store. But feels like it's lost a step.
Ramon Montano
Im keeping coming every year so much to do at the end of the day you be tired lol love universal 💯 …
Dariana
There are so many things that you can do, not only buy souvenirs but also eat many many delicious food. At night it looks beautiful, full of lights and memories, I loved it.
Colette Groen
I went on all the rides and caught almost all the shows. My favorite was the Waterworld show and the jarassic park ride. I really enjoyed the Harry Potter part of the park. It is a great replica of the movies and very entertaining.
King Stennis (iamlamonte)
Great place to take your kids for free. Parking is $30 but it’s worth it. Also dope for Instagram photos
Dan Gentilucci
Fun place to spend the day either before or after visiting Universal Studios. They do have a great multi-screen theater and there are plenty of kid-friendly shops and restaurants. There is also a water splash area the kids can play in - but they will get soaked, so plan accordingly.
Joseph Saldivar
The city walk is the mall connected to universal studios. Lots of restaurants, live music, and shops to explore from lids, popcorn, raiders, dodgers, comics, doughnuts ect.
Kyle D
Great shops, decent food options, and I feel like there is always something going on. You can pretty much find a store for everything here. The nice thing is a lot of the shops offer the same variety of shopping as in the park. Definitely a great place to pick up souvenir or fan items.
Adam Shahbari
I was there in Halloween special event, it was amazing and I will come back
Ashley Delgado
I had so much fun on CityWalk. It's been a while but the CityWalk always has some flare and action!
Malva Bee
What a great place to visit with family, friends or by yourself!I had been visiting Universal City for years. Every time I am in LA is a nice place to relax and unwind; you can find a lot of sugar here!!! But also a few good restaurants.
Herlinda Vasquez (HEVA's World)
Excellent place... its cracy at night for Halloween but still enjoyable... if you wanna eat at bubba please go with tome and make your reservation because you have to wait 2 or 3 hours
Yousif Al Hammadi
Loved this experience specially their new store UNIVRS and Super Nintendo World
Jenny Zepeda
Beautiful !! Very well kept showing center. Parking to access this place is about $28 if you plan to hang out for more than 3hrs . So in my opinion pretty pricey. I usually spemd about 4+hrs it's fun to walk around kids love it. They have the water fountain that keeps the kids entertained. Bring extra clothes for kids that like to play in water. Just a heads up.
Evelyn Meza
such a beautiful mall ..so much to see. I thought these cake pops were so cute
Ray K
City Walk, Times Square, Hollywood Blvd…classic conglomerates of giant signs, lots of chain stores and restaurants, and expensive souvenirs. That being said, still a nice place to walk through and grab some food while you’re at the park
Tracy Doran
Great atmosphere nice and clean. Plenty of shops, restaurants and nice entertainment stage.
Swag Ali
Man, this place is very different from when I visited in 2006. I remember a party atmosphere, restaurants that were practically clubs at night, and even a mechanical bull. All of that is gone now, and almost everything is closed by around 11pm if not earlier. It's a cute, small place to visit with your family for a solid half hour before you frequent an overpriced restaurant for a fairly decent time. But the great appeal citywalk once had is now long gone.
John Ace
Smaller than orlando, but really cool. Key differences for me were the Waterworld show, amazing, and the Backlot tour, really amazing. The park is set on 2 levels in the mountain. If only going for one day... then double your budget and get the unlimited express pass for 170. Bring a lanyard or another 15 to buy one. We got on every ride at least 3 times and some people were waiting 2 hoursntonride once. My kids did mummy 10 times before some people went once. Worth it.
Frank Sanchez
Some shops under construction but overall there are a lot of shopping and dining options.

Always an absolute best. Super packed especially during holiday seasons but great to bring loved ones and great to meet up with old friends here. Well worth the stop if you're from out of town. The food selections are expansive so you'll definitely find something you want and the entertainment is always going. AMC as well as Universal Studios Hollywood.
Randy Galela
Had a good time here lots of places to shop and eat just wish more breakfast places were open before the park
Sam Kem
This is a fun little outdoor mall experience. There is a good selection of retail and restaurants. The prices are on the higher side. During peak times, you may find it difficult to find a restaurant without a wait. You will have to pay for parking to come here.
Moises Belisario
Nice place to go with your kids, they will have fun
Urszula Czuba
There is nowhere to hide from rain. Attractions are very nice.
Harry Potter site gives an Alsace (French Region) vibe, which is great!
All the rides were also fun!
regina broughton
Great day and lovely experience, wondering why I waited so long to come here.
Justin Garcia
Honestly the shops and restaurants are a bigger reason to go than the theme park itself lol if the would serve the Harry Potter food and drinks outside the park id hit that up all the damn time 👌 …
KODALI KUTUMBA RAO (KKRAO)
From the main gate entrance to inside, when you enter can see so many Hospitality places, water fountains, beautiful landscapes with melodious music...can't explain one should experience the whole.... An express super pass help you to enter without waiting.. All ages can see the place with the help of Wheel chairs to Kids & aged persons. ...a wonderful opportunity to visit..
Joe Guggia
Essentially a great experience. Unfortunately, the crowds were awful for this time of year. Should have realized that 🙂. A bit understaffed but understandable. We had the Express passes, which is the only way to go. In this case, time is money. We briefly lost 2 young grandchildren, and security was definitely on it. Thank you for their care and comfort!
Omar Guzman
Love this place. I admit that some of the unique donuts offered here are very sweet but eating just one every so often shouldn't do any harm. I stop by this place maybe once a month to indulge in a sweet treat.
Michelle Randle
Went for the donuts. Had $30 Starbucks breakfast and $30 parking was a expensive Mall trip but the donuts were sooo gooood.
Destiny Aceves
Great place to walk, shop and have lunch or dinner with the family.
Evan Beaudu
It is definitely designed to be more of a spill out area for the park. More of a waiting space, before and after entry, rather than a destination in its own right. As a result it is very cement and static environment. My fiance and I go up there often to watch movies at AMC. Good food selections though (NBC Grill Bar is our favorite).
Jad Aljersh
You get the whole Universal feel for the price of one parking pass! No homeless, so that’s great. If you worry about social distancing then it may not be the place for you. Try going midweek to avoid large crowds and impossible parking.
Lyndon Zamora
This place has so many dining options and is open during this tier of the pandemic. Outdoor and indoor dining options available. Some of the restaurants have not fully reopened yet, but I have a feeling they will be back soon. Great place to walk around and shop!
Rohini M
Fun place to walk and shop .
Ry Bajanconcepts (bajanconcepts)
Universal Studio is my favorite amusement location in all of California so naturally I enjoy the stores along the walk, especially Dark Horse Comics store. Plenty to see and do along this walk, that alone is worth the cost of parking. Plenty of food venues. Majority of places are mask required regardless of being vaccinated or not. It will be nearly impossible to maintain a 6' distance from people as every time we have gone the walk was packed full, in stores and outside. Try to be respectful and you will enjoy the visit. Oh, the Harry Potter section in the Universal Store has a ton of wands to selection from, plain and interactive. Even if you did not pay for the Universal Studios amusement park you can still go into the opening area to take pictures with the giant Globe.
Chad Smith
Great selection of stores and restaurants right next to Universal Studios
mike Childers
Love this place!! Great food, donuts and people watching!
Paula Salcedo
There's a lot to see here it's a great experience before entering the park.
The candy store was my favorite.
Yolanda Valle
You must buy front of the line passes! Best time ever when we had them and didn’t wait for more than 5-10 minutes
Benjamin Cienfuegos
Just outside universal studios theme park CA , lot of great eats bars and and shops. Watch a movie eat dinner shop it gets it all
W F
First let's start with the parking fees, they are way to expensive and everything inside is over priced also the restaurants too. If u are going with the family prepare to paid over priced food, toys and souvenir and don't forget the super expensive parking.
But the park itself is very fun and enjoyable.
I recommend.
Janae Price
The Weekend Afterhours Nightmare at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. I wish they didn't shut the tram down so early.
Hazel Mii
First off citywalk had some great stores to shop at and eat at then they have this water fountain area were the kids can get wet or just run thru when it's a hot summer day. The theme park side was even better from as eating n shopping sometimes the lines are long but what theme park isn't a great place to have fun with the family or even a second date..🥰😊
Robbie M
Fun shops. Smallish compared to downtown Disney. Some very good restaurants.
Kristin Hodgkinson
Great vibe here, totally unexpected! Fun place to dine, shop and hang out.
Brandon C
Beautiful open space and eye catching signs
Ana Gonzalez Oropeza
You gotta go to the Jurassic ride! You may find some rides closed. They may close one, even if you're the next one in line to ride one! Hogwarts world felt just like in the movie! Don't be surprised if there are more shops than anything.
Claudia Ramirez
I have not been here in years. Lots has changed, yet, it's the same. Water splash is closed, obvious reasons. Some places are gone, like Tommy's, but Voodoo donuts was good. I recommend, if going to UCW and not the park, general parking is fine.
Michael Gomez
Great eateries and shops! Very beautiful space for families and singles alike. Will definitely go there again when traveling to LA in the future.
Jon Jaarsma
Beautiful Entrance to the park, plus it's free to go through if you don't count the parking. Definitely worth buying your gift shop items out here instead of in the park.
NEXT ADVENTURE
Has been hugest changes since last time I went Good job👍 …
Abner Torres
Fun open mall, though the parking is horrible as it is attached to Universal Studios. I would never attend the mall unless I was also going to the park. I would also like more food options. Feels a tad weak for the amount of people/traffic that travel through there.
Jose Oliva
My son and I had an awesome day. We got to go to the super Nintendo store and my son got a yoshi plush. Went to Johnny rocket and the service was amazing. We ended the day with a great movie
Jerome Smith
Great place to bring the family and shop for gifts. Loved the food court and how everyone could choose their favorite food. The center where the Dj was made our night even more fun. The kids loved dancing through the night and getting put on the Jumbotron. Great scenery and it was really clean compared to other LA malls. If you’re staying at a hotel near here, this is a highly recommended spot to come to. There may be a shuttle from your hotel that runs every fifteen minutes taking you to and from the city walk.
Scott Perdue
Lots of fun stuff, but was surprised at how early a lot of it closed. I was in the audience for a show at Universal (Jimmy Fallon’s “That’s My Jam”) and by the time we got out at 8p, all the restaurants were closed so I had to go elsewhere.
T K
for the first time in the USA we went to the cinema to the legendary universal studio, to the avatar)
Dr. Charles Onwuegbusi
Just extremely expensive parking otherwise good place to take out of state visitors
mike p
Universal City walk is a great place to hang out with friends and family and grab bite to eat. Personally we did the I fly while over there too it was a great time.
Jimmy Romero
Good food at NBC Sports Grill & Brew. 🍻 …
jisho jose
Recently visited Universal CityWalk Hollywood. Great place to hang out and have food. Lot of food/dessert outlets along with shopping & recreations. Place gets crowded in the evenings.
Always be cautious while you are in an public place due to pandemic situations and maintain social distancing.
Glen Dixon
YES! there IS a Harry Potter store! More wand options than I've seen elsewhere and House colors galore.
Wide variety of good food places, many interesting shops but lots under construction. What?! No chocolate shop?!!?
Ivan ST
Great place to visit with the family!!
This is a great spot if you are alone, on a romantic date or with the family, is a complex full of restaurants, retail and even movie cinema! The Las Vegas Raiders stores is here, and the voodoo donuts, also you'll find a great food court, with most know brands like Panda Express, KFC, The Habbit and much more!!
By the way the Los Angeles Dodgers also have their store here!
George Chahine (George)
Lots of shops to visit and great place to go eat , walk and shop around !
Tanisha Jimenez
Loved spending time at universal CityWalk. My kids had a great time
Isabella Kintz
Had a great time! Wish the park was open but overall felt great to get back out and see CityWalk! the line for bubba gump shrimp was super long so if you are going for that be ready to wait! Can't wait till next time!
Yu Shiu
A good collection of stores and restaurants.
D Nice
November 27 at 4:00pm universal CityWalk was really nice haven't been in a long time they changed a lot of things still looks good would like to go again lot of food places candy places nice big TVs on the walls really nice they even have a trend to take you there and that's free the young lady that was in charge her name was Natalie really nice 🙂
Jim Kara
The popular outdoor mall is a great place to spend some time before, during and after the Universal Studios Theme Park visit!
I’ve also enjoyed coming here with friends and family at our leisure. Here it’s an experience to check out the unique shops of keepsakes, collectables and Hollywood memorabilia. Dine out with many choices for meals, snacks or bagged take alongs.
The experiences are interesting to see and do, with oversized signage and displays, movie theaters and action attractions!
Parking here is the same as with the Universal Studios Theme Park, with access priority being more expensive.
There’s a valet service at the end loop of Universal Studios Blvd.
For pedestrians from the Metro Rail or lower parking spots, a walk up the hill may just be the workout to make their day. Tho I’d opt for the simpler tram ride from the foot of Universal Hollywood Drive, off of Lankershim Blvd.
Thomas Mueller
Loved all the options as there were several places and restaurants that would keep me coming back.
They additionally have free shuttled from select hotels and to the metro that's very nice and convenient if you do not want to drive in.
J P
We visited popcornopolis on our way out from the actual theme park and the Grinch store, the staff at both places was so freaking nice and helpful. I had no idea that we get a discount on shops in City walk for being a universal studios season pass holder, you just have to show your actual ticket.
Catriz Angelish
Beautiful place to chill
Very pretty
Amazing food places
Dmitriy Safonov
Great place to visit with the family!
Mrs Villegas
Classic place to visit..never get bored of coming to Universal City walk. We miss the theme park but this was the next best thing. Decorated beautifully as always. A little different this time because you have to wear a mask but still fun.. Everyone abided and had their mask on. Some places are closed so check before you plan to eat here.
Marissa Ferrer
City walk was a safe and inviting experience!! Temp check before you get in also free parking!! A lot of the shops had good sales!! Everyone was complying to the mask rules!! Outdoor dining was nice!! Was actually able to take a pic of the universal city globe without waiting 1/2 hour😂 …
Malu Martins
I love the city walk, except parking is hard/expensive. The place itself is great though. Cool stores and restaurants. I love the art throughout.
Peter Kurt
We went as a family to get a photo in front of the Christmas tree and had a great time window shopping, dining at the Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant, and grabbing goodies from several of the candy/donut stores. Make sure to use the valet parking to save a few bucks if you're planning on a sit-down doning experience while you're there.
Joe Bowler
Not too crowded so if your looking for somewhere to unwind during all of this craziness i would go there. Took 15 minutes to get seated to eat, all of the areas have outside eating. Lots to look at and walk around, most shops have long waits to get inside however.
Jessica Bartelt
So fun and so many different stores and sights to see. Bring the kids or your mom. Everyone will find something they like!
Chelsia M (chellymc76)
Great place to hang out with friends & family if you don't go to the actual amusement park (which is next door). Plenty of restaurants & stores for shopping & relaxing.
COVID-19 social distancing & safety procedures currently in place (April 2021)
Garcia Garcia Business
This place was nice to walk around, bit my goodness 56 dollars for some socks. 😭 bro that's the last time. Never again. Nevertheless it was good.
You guys should try the Italian Restaraunt in the corner. Bucca di Beppo, The Waitress was lovely and she cracked me up when she went along with a joke my friend made. 😭 I was dying.
Man that lasagna was delicious 🤤🤤🤤
Zhiqian Dong
Universal CityWalk Hollywood is a good place to stay even if the Universal Studio was closed due to COVID-19. Some stores and restaurants opened as usual but not many visitors inside. Parking is free and easy in the parking garage. All visitors need to be checked temperature at the entrance. We walked for about 2 hours.
annessa heaton
It is super crowded, making it difficult to enjoy. Unless.you enjoyots of crowds.
harry cho
Had so much fun at US.
A T
Fun and lively. An easy place to grab dinner after you have been at the park all day.
Efrain Garza
The City Walk and Universal Studios Hollywood had been shut down for over 3 months and the City Walk is finally open again. This day that I visited was about one week in to the opening. Not too many shops and restaurants were open but just being able to be on Universal property was good enough for me. Once everything is open they have a wide variety of shops and restaurants to choose from. There is something for everyone at Universal City Walk.
Patrick Honny
Visited to get out doing the pandemic. Physical distancing, masks, and temp checks all being enforced. Not too many people for a holiday weekend (Labor Day) so there was no wait to get into Antojitos restaurant. Free parking and most businesses were open. Nice change of pace and well worth the visit.
Alejandro Duarte
It's fun to walk thru with kids, especially at night. Overall, it was nice, clean, and wide to accommodate the flow of traffic
Nathen Bulgin
Who doesn't like walking the CityWalk and looking at all the stars a lot of business is cheap souvenirs
Kimberly
I visited my daughter for Thanksgiving. She brought me here.
We had such a great time. The place was decorated beautifully with Christmas lights. There is music playing and people everywhere.
You will find many places to eat and shops to browse through.
We have season passes...so we enjoy coming here...especially during the holidays.
Paul G. Trejos
my experience with universal citywalk was great. I went here this past saturday (Oct. 10) with a good friend of mine. The atmosphere and vibes was incredible and lively. I felt almost as we weren't in a pandemic at all. A few stores/ restaurants weren't open like popcornopolis, GAP, Samba brazilian restaurant, panda Express etc.. there was definitely a huge crowd of people, it was a packed house. Everyone was compliant wearing face masks and social distancing at all times, and I felt safe knowing there was markers on the ground for social distancing both in stores, and the walkways. There was also hand sanitizer stations everywhere. We only had one problem, lines. especially the Universal Studios Store, We waited in line 2 times, the first we waited at least 10-15 minutes and the line wasn't moving at all. We left the line because we got tired of waiting so we left and went upstairs to the food Court and ate taco bell. Came back the second time to wait in line for 2 hours and finally got in. We also went to hot topic and it also had a queue line to enter the store, not as bad as the universal store though. Other stores we visited were great like, Billabong, Tilly's & Dodgers Clubhouse. Overall it was a good experience for us. 10/10 would visit again. p.s. we wanted to visit other stores but couldn't, next time we visit we will.

Awesome place to be, good rides and good food and drinks. You know what? Imma head there right now!😁 Platinum pass!👍 …
Giselle Oberly
Love this place. $10 parking isn’t too bad, lots of cute stores and good food.
S M
Came the week before Thanksgiving. Well worth it. Not crowded at all. Fun place to walk around and get a bite before going to Universal.
Adreanna Warden
It's so fun to go there and walk around and have a meal with friends and family
Primo
City walk is an alright place it’s usually really really packed. However there’s many shops and restaurants to eat at. My favorite would bubble him shrimp. The food is really good but the wait is about like an hour. Also the shoe place at city walk has a variety of shoes and great customer service. Also universal studios is right there so has a lot to choose from. Also a great place to take photos because there are many lights and structures. Overall I would recommend this place to ages of humans on earth. Also enjoy my photos I took at universal city walk.
Sarah Gilpin
We liked the City Walk! Love that they have basic fast food places to go and a giant movie theater that is convenient to get to. Loved that they had some unique restaurants also. It was fun to just walk around and see some stores we don't have where I live such as Hard Rock Cafe.
World Traveler - Jaime Lim
UNIVERSAL CITY WALLK -Hollywood CA
This place open again and yes I had to go shopping for my DODGER OUTFITS AND GO TO MY MOST FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD (Things from Another World) store. I got my Dark Horse Hoodie and my hats 🧢 for fashionable days to match my outfits. You guy gotta come and check this place out! If you visiting California, this is the place to go to. Check out the pictures of the store that are new and rockin..!!! Cheers
Piyush Parajiya
It’s an awesome place to roam around at! There is a lot of food and shopping options for people just interested in hanging out. The only issue I have is that you have to walk all the way through the district in order to reach the entrance. You can pay an additional $10-25 in order to park closer to the entrance but that would be around $50 for parking which is too heavy on pocket.
Gurpz M
Very nice idea by universal to add this place before and after the park. Lots of shops and eating places some of which are very unique. Can go here before the park opens or even after as it is open until late. Voodoo donuts is the best place to get donuts simply amazing.
cristy galindo (flaca)
Nice place to take a walk and shop
Krish
Simply Wow Place!!!
This always an awesome place to hang out, listen to artists play on the broad walk, window shop, eat at the restaurants, catch a movie, and much more, especially after the sunsets.
Pls remember it’s a free entry to City Walk and you can park outside the park if you don't want to pay for parking. Also, you don't need Universal Studios tickets to get it, again it's free for City Walk.
Linda Vivan
The employees at the entrance were exceptionally kind and helpful. They gave very easy to understand directions while at Universal City Walk which made the visit even more pleasant and enjoyable. I highly recommend Universal City Walk you
will have a ma-vel-ous day!!!!
Vinay Jaiman
Good place for a family visit. Lots of option for food lovers. Although Universal studios is not yet open, but we can hang around in city walk area. Yes, Parking is free.
Drummermom
The city walk is lots of fun. It's less crowded during day. If you have children you may prefer that.
We liked that after we left Universal we could grab a bite to eat along the Walk.
There is a food court upstairs and tons of sit down dining choices.
Lots of shopping. It's a local but definitely a tourist destination.
Gordie Hanna
[Parking] There are very large parking garages and lots of parking here. It is expensive at times. I was told it was $28 before 6pm and $10 after 6pm, so I parked at 6:05pm.
[Accessibility] The whole place is completely wheelchair friendly.
[Atmosphere] it is a cross between a theme park and an open air mall. If you go at night, it might be a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater. Overall, the vibe is super cool and fun for all ages. It can also become quite busy.
[Prices] Since it is a prime attraction in the area, prices are a little steeper than elsewhere.
Brian Carr
I brought my children here for the 1st time (8yrs old, 6yrs old and 4yrs old). They definitely enjoyed themselves. Although, a lot of the rides seem pretty short IMO. But overall, a good experience.
Ernie Carrillo
What a Great Place to Take your Date. Great places to eat. Tall buildings with neon and large eye catching screens and signs add to the Hollywood Flare! Come on down and have a ball!! GOD Bless!!
Shaun Edwards
Always love the city walk part of Universal Studios! Variety of shops, eateries and sometimes live entertainment. It’s pretty well organized and well lit. The only downside seems to be the closing times of the shops and they start ushering people out around 10:00 PM but most places closed 9:00 PM or earlier even. But overall it’s a must browse place anytime you’re in the area.
Ronald Veliz (RonvelmeR)
I was suggested to come to this place instead of Disneyland and I'm very glad I did. The only downside was the long waiting for the rides, but that's a typical issue in places like this... other than that, highly recommended, specially Harry Potter rides.
Arcelia Flores
I went on Thursday and it's covid times so my experience was Amazing. Waiting in line didn't exceed 5 min.
Bobbie H
My son and I enjoyed the walk thur Universal CityWalk. It was very colorful and at night the lights are beautiful.
Krister Holmberg
Good variety of restaurants, but many don't open for breakfast and don't have posted hours at the front of their business.
Reed B
Universal Citywalk in Hollywood is a bit of a disappointment if you are used to visiting its counterpart in Orlando. I stayed at the Hilton just next door and we were excited to be able to walk over for some dinner options. Unfortunately we realized very quickly that it is a ghost town once the park closes and many locations close earlier than their posted operating hours once they don’t have any more business. There were also no visible employees around to ask for help, just some 3rd party security company folks who knew nothing about the property they were working on. While it looks pretty, the limited offerings and operating hours don’t make it a place I would go out of my way to visit in the future.
John FamilyMan
What a fun place to hang out and have a good time. Good souvenirs and awesome choices for food!
Jim Baudino
Parking costs $30 and is the same lot whether going to Universal City Walk or Universal Studios. It quite a bit much especially if going for dinner or a movie and the only reason I’m giving it a 4 star.
Otherwise they have diverse restaurants and plenty for kids to see and be overstimulated by :) including lots of sugar themed shops.
Eric Brownhill
Fun place to go shopping around Universal. Lots of little shops, restaurants and quirky places, plus universal studios merchandise. Probably a little on the pricey end, but the ambiance is worth the difference.
Steven Dawoud
I really recommended getting the Express ticket, saves you hours! The shows are amazing, plenty of restaurants, I recommend watching the water show, get the Harry potter rides and make sure you go downstairs for the Jurassic Park experience as well as the universal Hollywood tour. It’s a mind blowing experience, definitely had so much fun
Ashwini Suryavanshi
Loved it! Very lively place. Amazing eateries and restaurants!
Christopher Lord
Great dining options. IMPORTANT - Choose Valet Parking for lunch. Major discounted parking prices are only available at Valet during lunch hours with full service, sit down dining validation. Electric charging is available at Valet.
Ilma A
Vibrant and lively with plenty of sanitizers dotted throughout the place. Everyone was wearing a mask too. Love visiting the universal city walk Everytime!!
Keith Davey
30$ parking is a bit steep but still a fun time
Chris Day
A good mixture of shops and a cinema. Absolutely loved the neon signage.
After a long day on the park doing the VIP tour it was a good way to finish a great day.
Dana Langheid
Universal CityWalk has quite a few stores to puruse while either waiting for the park to open or just after it closes. We enjoyed the Karl Strauss Brewery the food and drinks were quite tasty. The other restaurants we pretty typical for the center. Prices were a little high in my opinion. The stores were pretty much the same. Minimum price for parking is $25. I wouldn't go visit unless I already planned on being there for the park.
ORLANDO A VASQUEZ HERNANDEZ (El Gallo Negro)
Parking is 30 bucks unless you go to the movies. Then they refund you 25 bucks cash. You won't find 5 dollar parking anywhere else in LA
FairytaleFilmmaker
Even on a calm midweek afternoon in February, this is a nice place to come. The curiosity shops are entertainment all by themselves. So many sweets and treats. Chocolates! Doughnuts! Bathroom soaps that look like food! Even a sox shop! There are sales at this time of year and I found 2 pair of sunglasses at Francesca's for $20.
Michael Turcich
Everything was clean and kept up well, being that it's on universal property every including food costs more. Parking is 10 dollars for the garage. There is a curfew for anyone under 17 to be with an adult after 10pm.
M Strange
CityWalk is always my favorite place to go in Universal City. Restaurants and stores are always memorable, just make sure you set aside some money ;p
Edenilson Cuatete
Fun plce to browse and chill, bathrooms are clean 👍👍 …
Shellyboo Smith
My family and I had a great time and we were escorted by Gillian, and she was an absolute doll! We loved her, her energy was amazing! I know that the VIP express package is more expensive than regular admission but it's worth it every penny, complementary valet parking, VIP LOUNGE has treats and air conditioning so nice, having someone walk you around was everything! Indulge at least once in your life this way! You deserve it! Thumbs-up 👍
Juan G.
What a cool area to walk down. So many things to see!
Brent Warner
It’s OK, not great but OK. The one in Orlando is far better, but it’s pretty cool to walk around. Restaurant selections are pretty poor.
Wilma Hernandez
Just love to go here when i have the time to. Good food. Movie. Love it all.
Lucio Rafael
If you are not planning to visit the park but want to feel the environment and grab nice food is a great option.
There is a parking lot ($25 or $35).
Nice place for shopping movie/games/cinema related stuff although is a bit pricey.
Richard Rangel
So much fun lots of shops and restaurants, cool water feature outside everyone jumps in, Big screen TV playing music videos, looks best at night all lit up
Edwin Yap
Less people coming at night time and probably the present situation but We enjoy it.
Jedediah Lind
Universal is a blast! Yeah wearing masks the whole time can be a drag, but I still feel it's worth it. The only thing that can be better are the churros, but still 5/5
valeria nevarez
My experience at city walk is such a good time walking and going into different stores checking out what they have.. the popcorn is great and they have a good chocolate and candy store...the only thing I didn't like was that they took off the famous Tommies, I love the chili cheese fries and eating on the second floor above where u can see the big screen videos..and music playing out loud . Other than that this was a great walking adventure..
Ronen Pestes
3 stars for the price of the parking.
Outrageous to charge those amounts especially with the current condition of the economy.
The place has somewhat magical fill, but if you only want to watch a movie go to one of the ' regular ' movie theaters.
It takes at least extra 10 minutes to drive up and find parking.
Dee B
Fun family atmosphere variety of shops and restaurants recommended. Prepare to walk and be in crowded areas. Not recommended for very small children as this area has a very downtown nightlife vibe.
Katie Mauricio
My first time at Universal and it was the best! Definitely recommend going!!
Thomas Cluff
Lots of shops and places to eat. Crowding and prices are so much better than inside Universal Studios. I would highly recommend taking the time to walk here to eat instead of inside the park.
Indi G
Delicious eye candy. The signage for the shops is really cool and unique, which definitely makes for some fun pictures. As far a shopping everything is extremely overpriced. I would recommend walking through, taking some pictures, and then moving on.
L C
Universal CityWalk has a lot of shops, restaurants, and entertainment, but when all is said and done, it simply feels like your being funneled towards Universal Studios.
It doesn't feel like an area I would normally visit, unless I was also going to Universal Studios.
A few benefits of CityWalk are, you can purchase Universal Studios swag without having to actually go into Universal Studios. Also if you get hungry while at Universal Studios, you can temporarily leave the park and visit one of the many restaurants and save some $$$.
Albert van Lingen
Absolute tourist trap, but I liked it none the less.
alicia silva
Loved it
Small park the Mexican food was not good but the girls at 3 broom stickes gave us dessert for taking to long with our order and also for getting it wrong
Vero Leon
A nice place to spend a couple hours or to grab a bite to eat. Lots of shops. Wish there was more for kids to do though. AT least they have the water area where water shoots out from the ground. Parking is $28. Candy store has jellybean statues of wizard of oz characters.
Krystal French
Love it getting season passes
Kalan Balbiam Clavel
It is an incredible experience, I liked everything, when you have the opportunity to visit it, do it you will not regret it, thanks for reading me
Kevin shaw
We had fun. I enjoyed walking around, eating, and shopping for a limited time.
Alex Casteleiro
Fun place to visit with good friends
tim chilen
CityWalk was a blast to finally see in person. I had listened to all 18 episodes of Podcast the Ride CityWalk Saga and felt like I was on a pilgrimage. A lot of good shops only caveat is I'd liked to have had better food choices. Surprisingly easy access from the highway and plan on going back again when I fly through Burbank/Hollywood airport.
csmather77
Haven't been in years. Everything was just amazing and fun. It was an unplanned visit and I am so glad we went.
Chief Tonga (Chief_Tonga)
Better to visit the city walk at night for all the neon lights. The big king kong hanging over the crowd is always nice to show the little ones if you have any with you. There are also some cool spots to eat
Michael Morales
Great place to walk around for food and drinks.
Ben Johns
Tons of really cool places to shop. I really liked the dodgers shop here. This place has a very good vibe to it and a great place to hang out after a day at universal studios. The parking is very expensive here. Ride the red line to avoid the high parking prices.
Saveena Wadhera
One of the fancy and enjoyable places. You can find everything from apparels to makeup to food, accessories to what not. The place has been beautifully designed. I loved it.
Darshan Dhillon
A wonderful place , Avoid visiting on holidays and week ends otherwise you have wait a lot at each ride
Manoj Kumar Mahanta
Great place for hangout, you have stores varying for everything like momentos, massage, movies, Great food options, bowling and lot more. Ride to citywalk itself is a fun pack ride to mountain. If you are lucky you can catch any live show happening in there. Its a great fun to enjoy it on the floor or relax and grab a bite and watch it from above food court areas.
Jacquelyn Halfpenny
There were tons of shopping options and food places. My family preferred this location to downtown Disney. Much less crowded and more affordable.
Charles Schiell
Garish and touristy to the extreme. Better places to shop and eat abound, but if you're already here, may as well enjoy it.
savaliya nirav
I would recommend to visit once in your life if you are in LA.. So, perfectly design and of course you will come to know how Hollywood movie are created.
Makisha Moore
This place is a wonderful shopping experience that's beautifully lit up at night. It's busy with its many patrons, live musicians, and fantastic restaurants. You can park in the deck for $10, valet, or if you're up for the walk, park down hill on the street for free after 7pm. My family loves it! Well worth the visit.
Framez 23
Nice , Came on a Wednesday and was able to ride every ride
Becky Blades
A lot of kitschy junk. Clean, but nowhere decent to eat. They closed the Blaze pizza in favor of a second Starbucks.
It's just all sugar and fast food. Just a place to sink an obscene amount of money at vs just going somewhere else local that isn't a tourist trap
Jayleen Olivia
I love city walk! —- so much shopping and restaurants plus the amc is amazing!
They also have events at city walk!
I used to be at the Howl At The moon Piano Bar but unfortunately they moved areas then shut down!! :/
But they are always opening up new places and expanding!
Tim O'Sullivan
A fabulous area of tourist themed shops and restaurants right by Universal Studios.
Lots of unique places to shop and some great food chains too.
Parking is shared with Universal Studio's and there is a charge.
Robert Banks V
I enjoy going to CityWalk so much. A bunch of varieties of great food and great stores to buy clothing at. I have to visit the Sports Locker by Lids every time I go here. The staff is always friendly and helpful!
S J
Great experience 🫶🏻 …
Charles Hall. Jr.
Got a good selection of menu items price ranges from $14 to $25 have a good selection of beer and wine and also mixed drinks I ordered the farmhouse Fried Chicken got to be hungry it's a lot of food for your money totally recommend the place
Ivan Vukovic
Very nice entrance to the Universal Studio. Lot of restaurants, many stores, nice for shopping. Uber pick up and drop off at the main entrance of city walk.
Working hours one hour after park is closed.
Even you have a water massage, interactive fountaine and souvenir shop. Prices are good. Very good sneaker shop with helpfull stuff. Awsome girls and guys.
ISMERALDA MUNGUIA
Great place unique 👌🏻. I love the way that if you have a baby or toddler kid and both parents can't get into some rides, they honor the switch baby entrance. After the parent entrance a do the ride they would gave you a fast pass ticket for the other parent who was taking care of the baby outside the ride. 🙌🏻 🙌🏻 🙌🏻 👏🏻 ✌️ 👏🏻 ✌️ …
MUHAMMAD MANSOOR ISMAIL (Mansoor)
It was an awesome trips and enjoyed the full day. It is suggested to take express ticket so that you can take all rides in few hours. Also make sure to take preferred parking instead of front gate parking which is merely waste of money....
Helen Fox
Very clean and everyone was very nice and friendly. Lots of shops and places to eat. Parking was priced too high. We were dropped off by a friend and was able to spend that money on food.
Rafael Corrêa Gomes
Amazing place, you will find a lot of options right there 👌😯 …
Jason Bolstad
Great atmosphere and lots of options to choose from for food. We ended up doin something quick, but was so windy that day.
Parampal Ahluwalia
Great experience!! Was enjoyable and service was great. Fans and water must sprayers were located all over the place!! Great rides and good food choices too!!
Mayur Patel
It's great that the Universal CityWalk is finally open! It was nice that parking was free, and I felt safe because they enforce the masks even when walking outside, and take everyone's temperature before they come in. It seems that a lot of the shops are still closed, I hope they open soon!
Bro Louie Lirio Biteranta
the best place to hangout late year round.
favourites among our visitors from out of state and out of the. country.
we use to get an annual pass for the park during pre pandemic.
Marcela Felix
An amazing place to visit you get to enjoy rides, shows, and delicious foods. Movie theaters if you feel like watching a movie, and also you can take pictures with your favorite characters, hellow kitty, Frankenstein, and beattle juice, and many other entertainments to enjoy throughout the day. My favorite all kinds of drinks, From water to a refreshing margarita.
Lizzy Sweet
It was an awesome experience! Family enjoyed it so much that we are already planning to visit again. I'd like to add a suggestion though :they should add more Panda Expresses because when we went to the Panda Express it had a long line. 😊 …
Lex Macaluso
Lots of choices. Cute souvenirs. Friendly atmosphere.
Gay Turley
Fun atmosphere. Music videos on big screen. Food court. Lights flashing.
Kristen McKenna
Highlight of our trip so far! It was not overwhelming for my toddler so he got to enjoy meeting the characters without long line ups. Thoroughly enjoyed! I am looking forward to coming back when he is a little taller to get on some rides.
Ana Cabrera
We love the place!!!
Lil.Wanderers cinny
Universal renewed my pass for 2021 that I had bought in 2020. Parking is $28 but if you go to the AMC you can get it validated for $5. Masks are no longer enforced. Park has been packed even on weekdays so would recommend masks!
Kizel M.
It's a good place to shop and eat or just browse. Very popular tourist spot. I do enjoy the variety.
tawny cothey
Fun rides but the rides were so short. I wish they were longer. And the food and drinks is very over priced. My favorite part about this place is the Hollywood tour. That is a must if you go here.
Jared Stivers
It's fun to be able to enjoy something like this without having to pay for park admission.
Aq
The parking fee is 10 dollars she 6 pm.
The tickets for the studio were somewhat high so we ended up spending the evening in the city walk area.
Food is quite overpriced but it's worth a visit.
Kesh Cotton
It's still a great place to catch a movie and grab a bite to eat. Date night
R Garcia
Very nice up scale mall.
Suzy Ruiz
It's good place to go find something to eat or when hungry. Wish there were more activities available, especially since you have to pay for parking. But overall a good place to visit and just hangout for a bit, maybe do some shopping.
Joel ALF
It's beautiful just to hang around there and grab some food 😋 …
Brent Ahrend
Not every storefront had a tenant, but the overall experience was pleasant. If we didn't have a particular food in mind after leaving Universal, we definitely would have eaten dinner here.
Connie Leathers
Had a great time, love the Express Pass that takes you to the front of the line, somewhat. Went on Revenge of the Mummy. It broke me from rides again. I prayed until I got off. I'm just saying.
Susana Llerenas-Ozoria
We loved our time at universal studios we will be back soon
Fernando Famoso Casillas
It has a little of everything!! Food, places to eat, even a socks store!!
Hector Iraheta
Just come prepared for overpriced everything from parking to food . Atmosphere is like a bunch of adolescent adults.. the kids are more bareable then the generic zacks and Karen's of the world. It's alright if you have nothing better to do that day
tonya laney
Liked the CityWalk as much as the park itself! Great selection of food, merch and drinks!
Cinde Salazar
Lots to do, see and eat. $25 to park whether to are hanging on Universal City Walk and/or going in to the park. Haven't been her in 20+ years and was quite impressed!
Elia Sripuntanagoon
A great place to enjoy with your family
Rashida Jackson
Had a great time. There are a lot of new things to see on city walk and inside of the park. I'm going back for the new year party. I will update my review. We got to stop at popcornopolis and the crepe cafe on our way our. Both had helpful employees. If you're a platinum pass holder don't forget to ask for your discount at the retailers, they don't seem to offer it unless you mention it.
daniel fel
As a 35 year old male who very much dislikes shopping And frankly, doesn't care about universal studios. This was actually pretty fun, and cool. There was something for everyone for sure. Wouldn't say it's a must see. But if the wife wants to go, don't be afraid.
Carey Sabala
Definitely needs some new ships and some TLC. It's very dated and the restaurants are ok but nothing special. Reminds me of San Diego's Horton Plaza (which is gone now). Downtown Disney it is not.
Kristine Calvillo
If you happen to go here, you have to try a restaurant called Anjoritas! OMFG, AMAZING! This place had the best tasting food, every bite was delicious and the margaritas were on POINT! The food was so authentic. Its been a very long time where I had food this good. I was alone at the time, waiting on the kids again, I stopped in and sat at the bar. Very nice bartenders, all of the ones that I interacted with, even the barback was helpful and offfered me chips and salsa while I was waiting for my food. It wasnt busy armt all when I got here, but I can see the place being crazy packed on a friday night for sure.
This is a hands down 10 star place and a must to stop and eat at. Reasonable prices and you leave feeling satisfied.
The Citywalk itself is pretty cool. Lots of stores to stop and shop at. Everything is expensive these days so that is always going to be stickler but all stores are big names. Good idea to get there before id say 7pm because I noticed some stores were already closing at 7. Like the popcorn store. Fun and different place to check put. Glad I did.
Michelle Valencia
It's a great place to shop and to get something to eat. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from there. And a lot of specialty shops. It's a great place to spend some time.
Stephani Michelle
Such a beautiful place with so much to see.
I definitely have to come back with my kids, they are going to love it here❤
If your around this area and need something to do, I would definitely recommend here👍🏾
Daniel Lyons
My family came to universal studios for the first time and we found it lovely! We expected the place to be a little bit unorganized, but we were pleasantly surprised to find very helpful staff who knew exactly what to do. The commentator on the city walk explained all of what we were riding through in detail. I definetly reccomend Uiversal CityWalk to anyone from ages 9+(Below 9 is a little too young to enjoy the ride and you might find them crying at a few of the 'scary' parts included in some of the simulations on the ride.
Chantel
A must go! We only went to the Citywalk, but it was worth it. Can’t complain! Dongpo restaurant was very good. The owner, waiter, and waitress were very friendly. The food is amazing and they served big portions. We had the dan dan pork and wonton soup. The new Fast and Furious movie had just came out, so the car that Dom drives was there for display. There are lots of things to do with the kids and places to shop. We hit up all of the universal souvenir shops. They have a little section of Harry Potter and The Simpsons.
Richard Susanto
Great place to walk and enjoy the nightlife here. Only complain is parking is expensive, but it's manageable if you go watch a movie or eat at a restaurant. Place can get a little packed but the night entertainment with the DJ and music is great.
Rob Marshall
My first thought stepping into Universal City was how it gave me a similar feeling to Disney Springs in Orlando. The tall facades with wide streets makes the strip feel cozy. The big colorful signage and huge screens is Vegas-like but still appropriate for the whole family.
CRYSTAL THORNTON
Very cool place to stop by if it is your first or thousands of times. The walk should not have any children in strollers riding the escalators. Parents be more careful. Cool pictures from trip to the top though. Worth paying for.
Jared Jones
I went for Hollywood Horror Nights and man, this was a great experience. A large array of spooky spots that sent shivers down my spine. Also got to go to Moe's tavern and have a Duffle beer like I was on the Simpsons. Disappointed the Harry Potter section wasn't open but I was still entertained from 6pm to 2am
Mahesh Bubna
After reaching to Universal Studio, Hollywood at Los Angelis on 27th May, 2018 we had parked our car at parking lot then we moved forward to Universal Studio Gate before that there was a vast long walk say Universal CityWalk where a good market of different varieties of stuffs available. All the shops are very nicely decorated is also an attraction to viewers.
Ivan Ruiz
Season pass holder. Love coming once a month.
gina k
Enjoyed my walk of the stars. Took pics of my favs & visited Hollywood Harley Davidson. They greeted me & were very nice. Always stop at Harley on vacation.
Michelle D.
Love to bring the kids here for a bite to eat or go shopping.
Cody Boone
Plenty of stores with friendly workers. Good food. Plenty of souvenirs. Fun place to walk around and chill with friends.
Juan Jose Martinez
Can't help but to get nostalgic of my younger days here. Great vibe no matter what time you walk it.
Maria Tarelo
Great place. Must eat at Antojitos, the food is delicious! I had the carnitas and I can't say enough. DELICIOUS!! Great service too. We enjoyed every minute.
Ace Estrada
Went for Hollywood Horror Nights. The street spooks are a lot chiller than Knott's Scary Farm, which my social anxiety appreciates. Did the back lot tour with seeds from Nope which was like a haunted hay ride with some walking and was awesome. Also caught the Jabbawockeez show which I think was worth the cost of entry. Couldn't do more than one maze--those wait times are astronomical and not worth, in my opinion. I'd definitely go back for the rest though.
Elizabeth Padilla
Plenty of different options to eat...we had Bubba Gump! We also had some awesome Voodoo doughnuts! Have to stop by the Sugar store and the comic store is great! They also have an enormous Lids store. Glad to see plenty of security and undercover...it felt safe! Plenty of people...back to normal. Great place to visit.
Silvia Lopez
A bit crowded at times but over all a nice place to visit
Jolene Gustason
This place has remained one of the we small theme parks around. Visually it is amazing. Hours between 11-2 are insanely crazy
Lord Pinicus
Shops didn't open until 11am but we walked around. A lot has changed but it was cool & I liked the new shops. We went to this clean Spanish spot called Antoijitos & the tacos were ok but 3 tacos for $18 nah but the drink was dope! Boba Fett trying to sneak up on us lol
Eneyda Leon
Definitely amazing! More than I ever imagined. The VIP Experience is sensational with your guide tour and all the places that you maybe don't reach to see by yourself. Amazing and unbelievable place!!
Stacey I
They require masks to go in & they do a temperature check. Most stores were closed when we came to visit but nonetheless, it was still a nice walk considering the pandemic we're in. They're really taking the extra steps to keep everybody safe. Lots of security and staff wiping down surfaces which might be a little too overkill so some but it's better safe than sorry.
Echo Farnsworth
Amazing
Our 1st time here & we loved it ❤️
Happy 2023
emily muse
I love October at Universal. We had a great time. We come often an always enjoy the experience. There are fun new rides and shows and the older ones are fun too.
mike you
Love the variety this place has to offer in terms of shopping and places to eat. Fun and safe atmosphere for the family.
Captain Jack
I always love strolling around here, lots of great restaurants and stores. Definitely worth it even if you don't go to the park.
Jhoselin Chavez
Very packed, is this why its a blackout date for year pass?
You cant really enjoy nothing, it took us all day to only enjoy 4places .
Faith Rideout
A great place to split your time between Universal Studios Hollywood. When we went we left the park to stroll and have lunch here where there are many varieties of little shops and then went back into the park for the rest of the day! Great experience and recommend even for people not going to the park!
Nicholas Solino
In my opinion this was the best shopping area I have been too. Really good at dark when you can see all of the lights!
Bajie's 4WD Tours
Awesome time, parking has gone up to $27. Jurassic Park ride was surprisingly good. Also, the tram was a lot better this time. Bring snacks and water to save some cash and treat yourself to some goodies :)
veronica perez
There a store for everyone. It's a nice place to just take a walk enjoy the day
Frédéric Campos
Amazing shopping place outside Universal Studios 👍👍 …
ALFRED83COMIX ___
Great place to shop dime and experience fun at any time of day
paul (dresden67)
Didn't do much at city walk just went to universal studios halloween.. Bubba Gump is fine, the haunt was real pricey guess they got to make up costs after covid-19 lockdown.. It's been better..
Jakey Low
Awesome fun place! Lots of restaurants, shops and they play cool music in the open while you enjoy yourself, love it.
Atmosphere : 5/5
Food : 5/5

ΕΥΑΓΓΕΛΟΣ ΖΙΟΥΛΑΣ
Excellent park with great rides, especially the Harry Potter ride, the Revenge of the Mummy ride and the Walking Dead walk are the best based on my opinion. Also the shows of Waterworld and Animal Actors are impressive.
Brent Husband
Went to vivo Italian kitchen here with my daughter for dinner. We had a very good dinner. I had been to the same place in Orlando and was not very impressed. Would not have gone here because of that however we were in a hurry and we could walk in and sit at the bar. The bar tender was incredibly busy but took time to give us great service. She dropped a glass near us and it broke. She replaced our meal because she was concerned that glass had possibly got into our food. Not sure if it did but I really appreciated the concern. The caprese salad pictured was excellent. I would go here again. My daughter and I split the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken.
Raul Gomez
Great place to visit with family or a date!!! Lots of cool shops and places to eat!!! They have a movie theater and other activities to do!!!
Maria Sachacka
Just amazing!!! Especially Transformers ride, Jurassic World ride and WaterWorld show! Fantastic experience! Overall an excellent place to visit!
Saurabh Darekar
This is entry area for Universal Studion theme park. It is basically a city walk experience extended from parking area towards the Studio entry. It does have restaurants like Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gump seafood restaurant. Also, it includes shops for branded clothings and accessories.
You can spend some time here before studio start hours or you can have the experience after studio closure. Because these shops are open almost from early morning to late night. The Bubba Gump restaurant is good.
Daniel Higuera
Good place to spend some time and to eat different foods, it does get crowded but overall pretty fun place.
Tiphlizs VP
The city walk was tiny and what got me was the insanity high 27 buck parking fee to see what about 30 stores and less?? The only store worth seeing was the Harry Potter store
Melissa Kelley -Gordon
Had a great time my sister and I went to see a movie, very impressed with the theater , clean , friendly staff , and WOW the recliner seating was an added bonus. After we walked the area taking fun picks, shopping and then dinner at the Hard rock before our trip back home .
Hoxss
the parc is kind of nice if you feel nostalgic and are a hard-core fan of universal studio.
The parc on his own contains few area, Simpsons, despicable me, Jurassic park, etc that have attractions for it.
most of them are for all type of persons, the roller coaster are not super terrific because you don't have much heart taking twist.
you have animation around the parc that put you really on the atmosphere of it.
you have A LOT of sho which contains most likely the same things beside specific one that you can find near the attraction.
Beside this you have at the entrance shops which are good like abercombrie & Fitch, guess, sephora and a lot of place to eat.
overall this place is nice to visit if you are a fan of some iconic movie, you have Spanish English Chinese translation and attraction.
but overall in 1 full day you will have done the most of it
alfonso guzman
Clean, order, good social intertwine, great shops, pricy side all around...it's a mini city
John Argote-Rodriguez
CityWalk is like a mini-Las Vegas in the heart of Los Angeles right in the doorsteps of Universal Studios. It’s a cool place to walk around or get something to eat, watch a movie. Every now and then there’s a live performance or event. It’s definitely one of the highlights of LA.
Chris Sherman
Lots of good places, but need more wait staff at the restaurants, plenty of open seats but had to leave because every place had at least 45 min wait.
Eileen MacLennan Johnson
Was impressed by the friendliness of the employees at the shopping locations and restaurants that we visited. Shops are a variety from well known national brands like Billabong and Bubba Gumps restaurant to local and regional stores like Francesca's Boutique and Mini Donuts.
Phillipp Rau
Not worth a visit during the daytime hours. Guess better at nights. You have to pay at least 30 USD self parking fee.
Omar Barboza
Nice place to go and walk when going to USH. There are restaurants, stores and even a Cinema. Great place to spend the time with family!
Suzy Hopkins
Beautiful nice shows friendly people great théâtre.
Love coming here !
Angélique Stevens
I love Universal Studios! I have been an annual passholder since 2016 and could not love it more. The rides are great and the staff really cares about making your experience an unforgettable one. You deserve 5 stars and more!
Dharma M
Nice walk area.
J. F.
Lots of great stores. Incredible ambiance. Many food choices also. Great location.
Barry Shaw
Very cool section of shops while walking to the main Universal Studios entrance
J Kim
So nice.
Laura Debear
Babba gump good place to eat the clam chowder was the best I had, and I had it in different places. The all the ship was good they just need a better sace, the po sandwich was good but dry need a sace
Marcus Palmer Jackson
To take in a memory last time I walked city walk 2009 to come back so many years later was like experiencing a story book american idol was a wonderful experience was not a contender love radio love promotions liveloveadmire didn't go very far I thought now people dm loving my old music 89.3KOHL's own Rikiebon all grown up they didn't know I was part of the team either I kept it to myself for years
Craig Stevens
I along with my daughters had a fun time here shopping and having food before going to the Halloween Haunt inside the park.
JL Guzman
Universal super cool place to visit lots of stuff to see i would recommend the studio tour tram and che, king out Harry potter ride .also come early because after 1 pm its super crowded just like,Disneyland
S G
The signs are super vibrant at night.
Charity Carrera
The illusion of safety is absolutely insane. They tell you stand six feet apart front-to-back (which is not even enforced) but, you're literally 6in from your neighbor on the side while you zig zag in through the lines, then when you get on the ride they want to act like social distancing is so important🙄 Instead of just filling the seats on the rides they're only filling them at 35% full it makes absolutely NO SENSE!! You are literally packed like sardines in lines and outside nobody practices 6 feet so the lines take WAY LONGER than they should!!! They want to pretend they're being safe it's a JOKE!! 🤣
Charles Owens (Grail)
Great place to shop and Hang Out so much to see do and explore. You could spend a whole day here by itself.
Jordan Randolph
Wish some of the restaurants were open later, especially during HHN. Itd be so awesome to get taco bell or those mini donuts afterwards
Gerson Molano
GO AFTER 5PM —— for $10 parking (Instead of $30)
We got there at 4:56pm we didn’t know this and we got charged $30 parking (wish the dude in the booth would been kind enough to let us know to wait 5min to get in cheaper)
Its ok, a lot of it is under construction so not much to do or see or eat, if you are going to UNIVERSAL theme park or coming out its ok, but to go just for that mmmm I’ll pass.
Mrpiston38
This was a cool first experience I wish that it didn't cost you $30 to park to go into it for free but in the end not terrible pretty good experience overall
Ann Premazon
What can I say fun for the family. What was so cool about this trip is that I bought front of the line passes. I got my tickets from AAA. save me a nice bundle and will never go to Universal Studios again without front of the line passes. Loved the animal show love Jurassic Park ride it was awesome. had a kid with me that had a bum leg and as a result I was able to go into customer service and even though I had front of the line passes they also gave me a little something that help me get to the front front of the line but even without it I would have been just fine. I also had one of our adult parties cancel even though I bought the ticket from AAA customer service was overwhelmingly helpful and gave me a refund on that ticket which was awesome. I will say if you're bringing young kids who like to get wet there's lots of places for them to do that in the City walk and in Universal Studio so be sure that they have a bathing suit. the Minion ride and Harry Potter or just something that are so cool I think mainly because they have all sorts of new virtual reality. be prepared for long lines if you don't do front of the line Harry Potter for us took us about 15 minutes to get through the whole thing where people were standing in line for 2 and 1/2 hours. Parking is always difficult but we had against somebody with a bum foot so they let us go to the handicapped so we were so very close. you still have to walk through part of the City walk and doing that takes time so with all that said enjoy Universal Studios.
Briggin
City walk was great! Everyone was helpful, and friendly! Margaritaville is excellent if you're hungry--great staff and food!!
Adrian Estrada
We already have our routine down when I bring the family here. First the eat then candy store, then the kids roam around a bit. Check out some socks, then starbucks. Then it's time for some fries at Strauss brewery.
To end the night, movies. SAVE YOUR PARKING FOR A MOVIE THEATER DISCOUNT.
Been coming here for years.
Mo Wurie
Been here three times, but it never gets old visiting Universal Studios. Very beautiful scenery and clean as usual. There are lots of snacks and food options, the voodoo donuts are always my go to choice here. Tasty and delicious but the lines can be crazy, especially on a lively afternoon in June
Scott Carey
What a great time to wander and look at all the different restaurants and stores, it's hard to just take it all in. My favorite was the Voodoo Donut shop with all the tasty treats.
Lisa Fitch
Out-of-town guests loved this place! Nephew bought a magic wand and we ate at Bubba Gunmp Shrimp! Yum!
Andy Chung
Fun place to hangout after Universal Studio Hollywood theme park visit.
Food seems a bit pricy, but expected.
Visited after the theme park closed at 6pm on an October Wednesday night. Wasn’t too busy.
Shar Ronn
Too many people and too long wait times but it was worth it.
The Harry Potter rides were great! Fun to ride and I would say it's an adventure you should include in your journey. Lol.
Butter beer costs $7.50, too expensive but it's worth to try. After all, you're not getting it everyday.
The Universal Tour is still my favorite interactive ride!
Water is allowed and small snacks, so don't forget to bring some just to avoid too long line ups in shops like cinnabon, etc.
I love to eat at Bubba Gump. Yum O and the staff were really awesomely helpful. They're genuine entertainer and servers!
Robert McPhalen
Tons of restaurants to choose from; most of them serve alcohol. There's live bands at Howl at the Moon & street musicians at the fountain court. Occasionally there's interested stuff going on at "Five Towers" (in front of what used to be the Hard Rock Cafe, which is now gone). Saw Jlo perform live at five towers, got to meet the cast of "Days Of Our Lives", also at Five Towers. Citywalk is usually open from 11am till 9pm except on Friday and Saturday when it's open till 11pm.
Chris Meredith
Right off of the 101 Freeway. Plenty of parking connected to Universal City Walk. Safe and clean. There is plenty of things to do when you visit. A lot of dining options from sushi to fast food. There is entertainment at magic store, comedy club, and a movie theater.
Frank Padilla
Went to this place just for one store. Later found out the store is inside the theme park.. I was bummed but the place was on point. Clean and awesome.
S C
Amazing Halloween Experience - Plenty of Different Haunted Maze Experiences Similar to the Haunted Houses which only have one maze experience on the East Coast
Jon Bivens
Parking for handicapped needs to be consistent. I love the park and city walk. Handicapped should be free parking and nearest to the Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant. Preferred parking should be all handicapped.
Robert Turek
City walk is awesome neon lights, great food shopping. Best time is at night enjoy the lights.
ashtin Schutjer
Short distance from Universal. Lots of shops and unique eats and gift items. I preferred the CityWalk over Universal it's self.
Juan Antonio Estela
Best place to see a movie hands down.
Greg Spasiuk
Loved the Jurassic Park ride.
Also enjoyed the Universal Studios tour.
Nice souvenir shops.
Erika Mediano
We had a great time fast lane pass helps no long waits good food happy environment
Hoku Kaanapu
Alot to see and do, the lines here are just as long especially for Voodoo Donuts, its sugar, just to name a few places. Citywalk opens later at mi-morning. There are eateries upstairs near the movie theater. Love Buca!! Always make a reservation!!
Patty Golder
Cool place...lots of stuff to see and places to eat
Roberta Feliciano
Lots of stores a really big hot topic and lots of yummy treats
Ryan Tyler
Lots of things to do. Great food places, nice place to take pictures and enjoy yourself. Not many people around 3pm on a Friday, really enjoyed that!
Ms. Free Will
Its more people than I like to be surrounded by but Parking is Amazing if you drive a large suv or truck like myself. Lots to see and shop.
