There is a great variety of shopping at this strip mall. Gabriel Brothers reduced price name brand clothing Shoe Show Dollar Tree Cricket wireless a Nail Salon Optimum Internet Kiosks my favorite China Buffet and a few others. You should check this out.

Having a handicap, at times it is hard to get a scooter or they die on you in the middle of the store. Don't like going at night because they only have the self checkout which physically is very difficult for me.

Always love Krogers. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. I buy curly kale for my Finches and every time I go to the store I regularly go to, in Oak Hill, they never have fresh curly kale. This location does. Thank you !

Has a decent selection of stores. China Buffet has been there for years because they have the BEST fd of the other chinese restraunts that ive been too, best selection and very friendly staff. They go out of their way to get to know faces that come often. Cant beat their always fresh, gd fd & always kept well stocked.

Good variety of choice. Friendly workers. Upon entry a couple were making jokes about Oliver Twist "You want some more?" Was said by all three of us with some good vibes starting the shopping experience. Produce and drinks were plentiful. Meat and shelf stuff good. Cheese products a little difficult but had everything we needed. A guy was stealing something inside the male restroom while we were checking out a cop was standing outside the door talking with the workers while he plotted I guess. I bagged most of my groceries which I dont mind but overall KC was a blissful experience.

I love shopping in grocery stores that are new to me. Being out of town and we don't have Kroger in our area, I was like a kid in a candy store. This store was huge. Produce department was fantastic, colorful and some great prices. Loved the hot foods area and the wine selection was nice. The store was clean, staff was helpful and great service.

I love all the shops here. Unless you are going to the DMV this place is a quick and enjoyable place to visit or spend time. I come to the gym, visit the restaurants, do my grocery shopping, and usually go to the hair salon here. It's not usually packed with people unless it's around rush hour. I prefer to go here instead of the Civic Center if I can help it.

I have to say that while I'm definitely not a big fan of the current arrangement of things (i.e. "strip mall design") over there, versus how it used to be, it isn't absolutely horrible. In certain ways the new setup makes it easier/faster to hit each place, and somewhat adds to the aesthetic.. Far as the quality of service to the public, I think it's better than average. So I give it overall a 4.

Every Kroger is about the same but this one has the sweetest older ladies that are cashiers during the morning and afternoon and that makes a huge difference from all the others!

Kroger is ok. Drive an extra 10 miles to the South Hills Kroger!! Gabes is good SOMETIMES. (it’s hit or miss) The shoe store next to Gabes is good. It’s hit or miss also but the prices are great! Dollar Tree is GREAT! They keep it clean and stocked!! Also, very friendly! The Chinese Restaurant stays busy (I don’t know how!) The nail place…meh…dime a dozen.

A great place to shop. It's got free parking and places to eat and conveniently located. At least 3 phone stores: Cricket, T Mobile and AT&T and Verizon just across the street! Gabes is a bargaineer's paradise and you get the DMV to boot

Prices can be a bit high, but things are mostly easy to find and the staff is helpful. If you have a Kroger card it becomes much cheaper to shop here. They're also the only place I know that has lactose free chocolate milk and has it at an affordable price

Went to the DMV to get my license fixed that they messed up and to get vanity tags. I JUST did my tags about 2 weeks ago - I just moved here. I have a Tesla. To get a vanity plate, the DMV wants ANOTHER $500!!! Um, no. That's ridiculous! The staff was exceptionally polite about it and I appreciated that. It kept my head from spinning off my shoulders.

In my opinion, it's the best Kroger's in the valley. They have the widest variety to choose from. Most of the employees are friendly and glad to help. There can be long lines at the checkout during peak hours. Sometimes it seems like they just need to open more registers and they have the employees to do so but for some reason they don't. Overall it's a great place to get your groceries. Plus, there are several shops and places to eat near by.

I visited the DMV office, and even without an appointment,I didn't wait too long, I took the skills test, and received my driver's license! The employees were exceptionally nice! The pretzel place, smelled amazing.

Very cool little strip mall. I loved the walkability of it. There is a lot of people during the afternoon but most people kept to themselves. A great place just to walk around and shop, maybe get a bite to eat. One of the best places in Charleston. I just wish it had a movie theater.

I normally go to Gucci Kroger but for the past 2 years it has been poorly managed. I was pleased to see the shelves fully stocked and neatly organized and it was fully staffed at this Kroger unlike the other one. I will be using the Kanawha City Kroger as it is worth the extra few miles.

Kroger pick up purchase had me wishing I would have ventured in and done my own shopping for once. They left off alot of my order and I didn't know until we got home and when we go back i realize other things were left off. The gentleman was kind and apologetic and tried to fix.

As for a shopping experience it'd be quite good. There are several stores, and restaurants. My visit todat is just for the infamous WV DMV. I am not giving 5 stars, due to the condition of the parking lot. Hopefully the landlord will do what they should, and have it paved, and re-painted. All units are filled, and these tenants (one being the state of WV) along with us customers deserve to park in a lot free of pot holes and have clearly marked spaces with new paint. Also, on a prior visit, the parking lot was very dark. The lights are set on a timer, which needs to be adjusted when the time/season changes. No shopper should have to walk to their car in the dark. Again, this review is more for the landlord and not directly about any shopping/dining experience. Some of my faves... Other than going to Kroger's when necessary or occasionally to Gabriel Brothers or Dollar Tree or to the dreaded DMV when it's absolutely unavoidable (& I need to waste 5-6 hours of my life) ...there's not much reason to go to this "mall". I liked it much better when this was an enclosed indoor mall.

Good selection of shops as well as a variety of restaurants to choose from. They are all well maintained establishments with polite employees. The parking lot needs completely redone though; between the potholes and the concrete mountains in random places, it would be easy to mess your car up.

The staff was extremely nice. The store was very interesting. I really enjoyed seeing the displays. The only thing that I didn't like was that the prices are pretty high. The products are quite amazing and it is well worth the visit.

Lovely little shopping areas. It has a Gabe's which I and my wife love. Beef jerky outlet, nail salons, investments shop, kroger. If you have time, stop in and walk around. There is also a Chinese restaurant.

China Buffet was great yes we had to wear a mask in the inside and wear a mask when you go to the buffet to eat of course you can take it off and everybody there is just as friendly as they ever were

I stopped in to go to the DMV...quite a long wait (over an hour and a half) and then visited the Dollar store there to quickly pick up a few items. I am diabetic and needed a quick snack...they had a good selection of cheeses to pick from...so helpful and convenient on the go!

Dollar Tree ended up being a very unexpected, extremely satisfying, money saving, Home Deco solution. Being on a very low limited budget prevented me from making my really small, drab apartment feel more like a "Home". With around $40 I was able to decorate my living room to my satisfaction. With framed pictures, vases, flowers, etc. I think I will become a Dollar Tree fan member for life...

Main reason for visiting this area is Dept of Motor Vehicles and we All know how that is. But then, they ARE dealing with more than ONE person. Can't imagine how stressed employees are at end of each day after dealing with the public!?!? Ugh. My last visit was very fast. The reception person took care of my problem herself. Very much appreciated. Next time you're visiting DMV, put yourself in their shoes and be nice!! Remember - "Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on their part". Go ahead of time!!

Great variety of shops, parking lot has less to be desired, because it isn't kept up, so plenty of pot holes. Especially around the Gabriel Brothers area. Of course the parking in front of the DMV is better because they want to kiss the states rear so they don't lose that lease.

The mall doesn't enforce handicap parking. Yea they have handicapped parking but with so little spots they don't have anyone to make sure no one without a permit parks there. I have caught a Coke delivery guy parking in one while blocking another. I have caught many people park there in private vehicles without permits. I even had one lady say "I do it all the time." And act like a $250 fine was nothing.

Not only is it the best mall in the area it's the only one for many miles! If you visit during peak hours you will have to be patient. Traffic is a nightmare. Please use caution navigating the parking lot as they have mere stop signs where they should have traffic lights. Lots of stores with a wide selection. Most staff at most stores (in my experiences) are polite and helpful.

I guess it's ok as far as strip malls go. To be honest, I enjoyed going here more when it was an actual mall. There are not a lot of shops, but there is a good mix of different types of stores. And of course the DMV is here. The parking lot is always crumbling, but that area IS rather old.

It's a nice little shopping area if you have the time to actually spend and enjoy shopping or even on the go to get some fast food. This place is pretty busy, mostly ALL the time. The DMV is located inside the mall then you have the pretzel place, shoe store, Chinese food and then you have Kroger and all the fast food. The KRT bus that runs through there connecting the Eastside to downtown and so on. The Kroger there is better anyway, they actually call all departments to be a bagger so your shopping experience is pleasant. 🙂

I'm not crazy about the redesign, but I understand it. I don't get here as often as I did but it has everything and DMV if you gotta dance with that devil. I do recommend coming early, early for the DMV or you'll need to pack a lunch you'll be there a while.

We stopped here for The Jerky Outlet. This is a must stop if you love jerky. Tons of different flavors, and you can taste them. The have fun novelty t-shirts also to advertise your love for this food.

Ate at Firehouse Subs while road tripping. Ordered a salad to go and hubby ordered and sub.Employee informs me a few minutes later they were out of salad lettuce. She offered a sanadwhich replacement I agreed. Took my replacement order. Got on the road pulled out sandwhich and it was bare meat and cheese, no toppings that I requested. I was driving my camper so I couldnt turn and go back. Sucked pretty bad. I didnt mention there is a dollar in ahalf difference they didnt offer to refund me. You guys suck. But the restaurant was clean.

Gabe's is a unique store that has major discounts on everyday items and the Dollar Tree there it's like the Walmart of Dollar Trees; it has a little of everything only one i know of that has a refrigerated and frozen food section. The DMV is also located there. There is a number of other store there i just have not been to yet.

This was @ Krogers I was n there try to get my babygirl a birthday cake and for some reason the cakes come in kinda ugly it was her 18th birthday and the lady Barb in bakery was so helpful I really do appreciate the step she took she went above to make me happy and I want to thank her more for going above and to let her know my daughter loved her cake thank u again I wish there was more out @ work like you trust me ice worked retail for over 20 yrs and know its hard to make ppl happy

A few different stores including Dollar Tree and Beef Jerky Outlet, which you should certaily try before leaving. They offer free in store samples before buying. Everything from ostrich jerky to alligator, elk, reindeer, turkey, etc jerky and sticks. A bit expensive though.

The Dmv has upgraded there size an has took over neighbor shops within the mall, Due to lack of buisness in the shops, they do have nice stands set up in the hallways where you can view history lessons about the Railroad in the 1800&1900s, They have a Giant Holloween shop thats really got alot of varities., Gabes has deals on apperal an snacks. The only 'Con i have agaisnt this area is that there is exccesive speedin innthe parking lot speeds between 15-35mph an people haveing to run across crosswalks to avoid danergous situations, so becareful if you visit here !, be aware !

Has a few different shops and plenty of parking. It's an outside mall rather than the shops having indoor entryways u must walk outside to go from shop to shop. The China Buffet, Electric Beach and the Beef Jerky outlet are my 3 favorites to visit here. There is a Suddenlink where u are able to pay ur bill or change service. Also has a Dollar Tree & Nail Shop that are pretty nice as well. There's a hair salon, shoe store and & dmv also

CVS in St.Albans has opened located on MacCorkle Ave. Actually been opened several months & it is the better drug store than Rite Aid,now Walgreens.
