I was driving through town, with my daughter's broken bike, and I called Geoff. He was leaving his shop to pick up parts and said that he would meet me off of the interstate. He waited for me (WHO does that???) as I had to deal with construction. When we met, he wasn't able to fix the bike without ordering the part, and we were just passing through town. So what did he do? He gave me the exact description of the part that I needed (WHO does THAT anymore?) so that I could ask for it to be ordered down the road. Then he gave me some good advice for things to see on my trip. I wish that I lived in Birmingham so that he could take care of all of my bikes on a regular basis. Hopefully, YOU will pick him to do that for you. He's an all around good guy. As my mom used to say, "They don't make 'em like that anymore!" Thank you, Geoff, for your patience, your honesty, and now.... I think your friendship!!
