Good food when earning on base, didn't do much shopping just went there for lunch "Jeepneys" I probably spelled that wrong but that food place makes some good food

Scanned ID card to checkout. Not everything scanned correctly on checkout. Needed help that was readily available. Annoyingly accusatory scale in bagging area that twice needed attendant intervention. Good selection of items.

The employees are always friendly, especially the baggers. There is one bagger who looks like Bruce Willis who is especially helpful. I usually see him bringing in the carts. He always stops to help outside customers as well as those in the Commissary.

Have to shop the sales! Will always be thankful for all my exchanges. Loses some of benefits here in Anchorage due to no sales tax in town but still good to have peaceful shopping and the option of coming here.

Clean, you can find most of what you need unless it's infant shoes acceptable for AK winter conditions. They have toddler shoes that are acceptable though.

The main Exchange will possibly have what you need for your home and household goods. Definitely would recommend the Firearms Department, prices are always better if you're allowed to shop there. Plus they have a few outstanding sales each year, those are worth your while to attend. And thanks for your service!

I have been to the Exchange only three times and the lady that checks IDs always give me a hard time because my name is not highlighted on my paper and the same goes for self checkout ,I came in just to look around it was my first time, so all I bought was a coke and the cashier said don't they have coke where you work I said yes but I wanted to buy a coke here if that's ok. I felt I wasn't supposed to buy a coke here ,why are people so rude?

Basic military exchange with a few local stands set up, though on the deep winter some market vendors set up. Staff isn't always attentive and sometimes there are some major gaps in the supply chain and random items just don't exist. Limited furniture selection. Prices are fair for the area.

So many option here. The employees are great and always willing to help. Many of them seem to know and understand the importance of rush and their prices are great. Knowledge of their products are great in every department. Thank you for all your provided services.

Decent selection. Can be difficult to pay star card here.. that particular line is just difficult to wait in most of the time. Price check at this location is pretty difficult to use. Had a associate tell me i had to go back to the power center to utilize it. I just left the head phones and went elsewhere. But pretty friendly staff. I like to roam around and get asked questions about products. I enjoy that. Lol. Not being sarcastic. Sometimes i just suggest stuff to people scratching thier heads. Idk. It's definitely a place i feel pretty comfortable in. And the food court with Starbucks is a huge plus.

What can you say it's the military exchange I just love going there with my parents it reminds me when I was young and was on the base a lot and I'm far from young now. You have the commissary and box and food court you just can't go wrong there.

As mil exchanges & commissarys go, this is one. The ATM in the food court charges a $1 fee and will dispense $600, lowest ratio I have seen if you can't find one in your network.

AAFES has two options - Very Generic or Very Expensive. Everything else is cheaper off base/post or on Amazon. It is amazing that Walmart has not taken over the Exchange contract yet. I only shop at AAFES for spirits, liquor, and beer.

I do not have any major issues with Jber or any of the food eateries.However on the 17th of February. I went to Charley's and ordered food. The lady who was bagging up my food,put in a scrap of beef that had fallen off when the sandwich was being cut!

Typical Exchange, same sorts of items and selection as anywhere else. Excellent gun counter, expanded selections on home items and furniture. Long lines at times, shortage of cashiers occasionally. Typical management problems.

Great products and good prices, it was a general speaking very good, except for the Canmpels Cream of Mushrooms condensed soup and French Fried Onions that combined with the green beans created a disgusting Stale or Rancid flavor on my Beans Cacerole, it was food for 20 people, smelled and tasted awful and I had to trash the whole thing.
