Highly recommend this place! Absolutely amazing ambiance, great tasty food, excellent service and the owners are impeccable! Please go here and definitely try the following items that we got: Salmon Jerk chicken Turkey sliders Chicken wings Truffle fries 10/10 for us!! Will be coming back !!

Out on a Saturday Night with my wife and decided to go to Yonkers for an evening out. We’ve heard of this place that had amazing southern style seafood and we decided to try it. I ordered the fried catfish with side order of black eyed peas and my wife had the shrimp and grits. For my catfish, it had the best flavored batter and seasoned just right. The black eyed peas had excellent flavor. My wife loved and enjoyed her shrimp and grits. We also shared the hush puppies which were delicious. They have a full serve bar with a great list of mixed drinks of which we had plenty off. The ambience and decor are great to have dinner in along with the excellent service. The owner/cook came by our table to see how everything was which was a great touch. We will be returning for their brunch if which I heard is excellent.

We had a great time at Off the Hook Yonkers!! It was my mother’s birthday and we brought a 20+ crowd including all of the kids from my family. 😆 🏃🏾 The service was great. The staff was accommodating and the food was delicious! Good portions, well seasoned soul food/seafood. We also utilized the bar and had a few specialty cocktails. Our regards to the chef! Had a delicious meal and time speaking with the staff. The catfish and collard greens/mac&cheese were really tasty—I recommend the desserts too, Momma’s touch, bread pudding… slaps.

I had a average experience here on a Wednesday evening . The only thing that made it a 3 star rating was the grits. ..but I'm willing to give them a second chance with the Sunday brunch . I'll update as I go .

Rating this place a 3 because I didn't dine in nor did I order food. But 5 in service from the bartender and 5 for the atmosphere. I've always driven past this place but never thought to go inside and take a peak. And OMG this place is absolutely beautiful. The ambiance is very elegant and soft. Soft lighting. Waterfall fireplace. Music playing at a low tone in the background. Big screen television. From what I can see and from what I smelled, my senses are telling me that food is going to taste great when I do go back to dine in. Also, I went on a Wednesday for karaoke.

I really like this spot..I initially went using the Too Good to Go app and so far my food has been great each time I've visited. I've had the Jerk Chicken and Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Greens and Cabbage so far..The customer service is on point each time I have visited. Although, I visited the take- out side however I would like to try their Weekend Brunch. It seems to be a nice set up and menu as well.

Everything was pretty good. One of my draw backs is that the catfish is actually catfish strips and the fried chicken was a tad burnt and could use a little more seasoning( the seasoning from the picture is what I placed on it). The sides were pretty okay - I really liked the catfish batter just wished the portions were increased but otherwise okay

We went for the Brunch. Everything was delicious. But it would have like cheese for my grits, but they were still delicious. The staff were all quick and friendly. I will definitely go again.

My family came and ordered for pick up after a long day of errands. They ordered the fish and chips and garlic fries but got regular fries. It was fine, but Then we checked the salmon etoufee, Payed full price but didn’t get any plantains with it! When I went in to ask for them I was told it was only served to those dining in! What!? So why am I still paying full price for something I don’t get the full meal of? I’ve added a picture because I’m not sure if it was just maybe they had run out, or if truly they don’t do this, and as a customer who ordered on the phone i wish I knew. As you can see I had already started eating, I was sitting in the car just outside because they had an event going on and couldn’t seat us. I was excited cuz the first couple bites were really good, hence why I’m giving it at least a three star rating, but I didn’t see the plantains and was honestly a saddened. knew having those plantains would have made it taste that much better. This is also where I question- why don’t you guys provide plantains to those who order pick up?

Really nice lunch today. My first visit but I’ll definitely be returning. Ordered jerk chicken with greens and black eyed peas and rice. The chicken was flavorful and moist and the sides were also well prepared. I sat in the dining room which was calm and comfortable. They have a to-go shop next door. The service was friendly and professional. Next time I’ll try the cocktails and the fish.

Beautiful Black owned restaurant with fresh quality seafood. The owner is truly commendable. I really appreciated the design of the restaurant where they have a takeout building and a dine in building with different menus. This setup allowed the restaurant to be more inclusive of the community regardless of how much the patron is able to spend. Lovely place. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Off The Hook restaurant in Yonkers has a very nice ambiance for this area. The Soul / Caribbean / Traditional American cuisine is also great freshly made to order without compromising your time and the taste. I’ve gone here a few times before writing this review and they have always exceeded my expectations. For a nice lunch or dinner with your bae or that catch up time with the Fellas or the Ladies this is the spot. The drinks are also unique and on point. Off The Hook is a real nice restaurant that I hope is here in Yonkers for a long long time…

**Everything** about Off the Hook gets 5 stars. We had the whiting filets with rice and collard greens. SO.DARN.GOOD. Even the tartar sauce was terrific. Everything was fresh and delicious, the people could not have been nicer. A small storefront on a side street, there's a takeout counter in front, with a walkway to a surprisingly large, very nice DR in the back. We can't wait to go back.

An absolute treasure. Great food and a beautiful setting - one of the nicest most surprising rooms in Yonkers. The outside is a plain storefront and there is a long foyer opening into this cool, beautifully appointed dining room. Great service by friendly staff people. You owe it to the dining scene in Yonkers to help make Off the Hook a success - go and enjoy.

Went for lunch and had the catfish and chips which was excellent. Generous portions for a lunch menu and were treated with delicious freshly made corn bread. There is an entrance to the right which is the take away counter. Enter to the left for the dine in option. The dining room is very nice, good spot for a date night.

So, I dont enjoy Yonkers for many reasons, but I will go to Yonkers to eat here! Everything was so flippin good. The dining area was so pretty, bathrooms fresh and clean! Got to meet the owner too, he is a gem! Y'all are doing good things, I'll be back!

At the last minute I needed a new caterer to help me with a bbq event. I needed fish fried for about 50 ppl. Literally a week before the event I found Off the Hook of Yonkers, called them up, explained my situation, spoke to the owner/manager, and hung up so relieved to find someone to work with me. Upon pick up the day of the event, Off the Hook of Yonkers had everybody asking me "who made the fish"!!! While I just ordered the fish for a special event, the restaurant is gorgeous, located in downtown Yonkers. I definitely plan on having dinner there. After my catering experience I can't do anything but sing praises.

The seafood & Soul food that Downtown Yonkers deserves. Off the Hook is easily one of the best restaurants we have now. They know what they are doing and I am entirely impressed by everything I’ve ordered. Try the Jerk Chicken, it’s easily the Best in Westchester. And their desserts are just as outstanding.
