I have one issue with this place. The food is good. I went twice in one week and both times I had curried chicken w/ rice & peas. The first time it was not spicy and delicious. The second time I'm not sure if it was the rice or curried chicken that was quite spicy. Consistency is important. Not everyone likes spice and I would have hated to suggested it to someone because previously it was not spicy and then they got spicy food because I told them it wasn't spicy. I was a huge fan of the jerk chicken. I love a good jerk chicken but this one was ok. The wait was very long. Only one counter person. I was next in line and I waited almost 20 minutes to be served (no exaggeration.)

I love the food from this place plus is the only decent Jamaican food rest in the area of Yonkers but I feel like the amount they serve is not enough for what you pay even if you order a large you end up getting like a medium, also they should add more coconut to their coconut rice because honestly it taste plain. Oxtail is really good by the way.

Really really delicious food! I've eaten a lot of Jamaican food and this place is so good. Portions are great and there is a good variety. We had brown stew fish, broad beans, curry chicken, rice and peas, cabbage - all phenomenal. I liked too that they understood that I don't eat meat and served me up a generous container of vegetables and beans. I especially appreciated that the people working there took the time to talk with my dad and walk him through what each dish was. I would come back for the food alone but service like that means that I'll write a review and recommend it around town.

It's small, very small. I had the oxtail. Although it was well seasoned it need more time to cook. Prices are on the high side.
