I always enjoy coming here. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. The service is always great no matter the server. The food is usually out quick and hot! The quality is consistent and every thing I have ever eaten here I have enjoyed. It's one of the best restaurants in the county in my opinion. I have been mainly for brunch and lunch over the years, but have come in the evening a time or two to sit at the bar and listen to some live music. No complaints from me which is why I keep coming here.

Ok so the place was packed for afternoon weekday! But the service flowed well. My soup was extremely good. The bartender was on point! Pizza had extremely fresh flavors. The toffee at the end was worth buying some to take home!! My Delaware folk give them a check out.

Pizza By Elizabeth's is an eclectic pizza & American food restaurant located in Greenville Delaware. The ambience is elegant and boasts many pictures of famous Elizabeth's. They have a full menu as well as many artisanal pizza options. The pizza, and drinks are very good. I have not tried the rest of the menu. The service is very good as well. It is a unique place to visit if you are in the area.

I visited here post a holiday visit to Winterthur. We didn't have reservations and were seated at a high top table in the bar area, which was perfect. The atmosphere was upbeat and lively and there was a gentleman playing the piano on this particular evening. Soo much fun and our food was fantastic. I believe our waitress name was Hailey. She was awesome! Can't wait to go back!!

The pizza here was good. What was more notable than the food though, was the décor. It's charmingly decorated. If you are named Elizabeth, this place is particularly fun, as every dish is named after an Elizabeth and the walls are decorated with famous pictures of various Elizabeth's.

I have always and will always love this place. I learned recently that they have been open for 29 years! It makes sense that they are synonymous with local cuisine in Greenville. I have been visiting Pizza by Elizabeth's for my entire life and cannot remember a single thing on their menu that I did not enjoy. They have certainly expanded their offering in recent years with weekly specials and a full service piano bar. For the purposes of this review, I will only mention the food that we ordered but almost anything on the menu is worth trying. My girlfriend and I took my grandmother to eat for her birthday (her favorite place) and started with the Spinach and Artichoke dip, which is an old favorite of mine. I love how their appetizers come with breadsticks instead of chips or pita. Their hot dips are served in crocks with the top melted over the sides (yum). For dinner we split two pizzas and I got a Caesar salad with blackened chicken. A quick note about pizza size. A regular pizza is just about perfect for two people unless you are REALLy hungry. In my opinion, the mini pizzas are just a little too small to be a meal on their own. The Caesar salad here is one of my favorites.They used to sell the dressing and I wish they still did! Try it with blackened chicken! I think this makes a fine meal on its own. As for pizzas, we got a Shannon (fig jam, prosciutto, bleu cheese, scallions) and a Jackson (creamy spinach and artichoke, mushrooms, fontina cheese, fried onion). Obviously both were great. Another bonus of eating here is the caramel chocolate "bark" they serve you after your meal. It is like a chocolate covered piece of toffee that s a small (free) sweet treat at the end of your meal. The last thing I will mention is that service, which is always top notch. Leah was our server and she did a great job of taking care of its and putting on a happy face listening to all of my grandmother's stories! I am sure I will be back soon.

Great place to visit!! We regularly visit this place for brunch and dinner. We loved their cheese plate, mix of truffle and other cheeses with marmalade!! Tomato soup was so delicious with croutons and hot appt cider was very refreshing!! They have a great selection of Pizzas even if you are a vegetarian. They gave us free toffees and our server Serena was great!!!

Husband and I ordered 2 pizzas so glad we ordered 2 due to how small it was..never on the web site did it say how small was small and how reg size is? Taste was okay but broccoli was under cooked.. and i could kinda taste the crab from when they cooked the crab pizza(I'm not allergic) but might want to let customers know.. would of liked the toppings spread out over the whole pizza.. made it floppy to hold had to eat with fork.. my pizza cost 19$ and some change (never thought it would be so small).. probably wont order again!!

Been to this place about 3-4 times already and it never disappoints. Fire oven pizza that comes out tasting great each time with fresh ingredients. Drinks are also a must try since there is something for everyone to try.

The space is really neat and a very cool aesthetic. However, we ordered 2 pizzas and weren't overly impressed. The salads and apps at another table looked phenomenal, so that may be the way to go. Great service, so willing to give it another try.

Elizabeths' usually dependable kitchen seems more prone to clumsiness in execution post-pandemic, but if you pick a winner, you will thoroughly enjoy this lively, earthy, genteel menu. The ladies who lunch ADORE the charm, but last couple visits, the combos that once were executed so charmingly seemed a bit slapdash, lacking harmony. Still, it's hard not to enjoy the experience here: especially the serene and shaded grotto fountain along the way inside; the fun, bright, and pleasantly convivial atmosphere, the vibe and buzz. It's easy to forgive some missteps in a place this full of grace

Terrific value. Tasty food, eclectic and trendy decor, attentive service, and clean. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. We had create-your-own pizzas on vegan and gluten free crusts and finished off with unbelievably good sorbet. A definite stop when visiting the area!!

This is a cute pizza/restaurant where locals go. But lately the service and the food quality has really come down, and prices have come up significantly. food quality has been particularly quite bad lately.

Food was very good service not that great we we’re given apparently an older menu with older prices for the pizza but charged differently server did not apologise or offer a price adjustment! Did not made us feel valued staff we’re more interested in their friend the end of the bar.

Overall great options for food. Each pizza is named after a famous Elizabeth, both vegetarian and meat options. We did the Queen which was a mushroom and chicken white sauced pizza. Got it on honey wheat crust. The crab and avocado dip with bread sticks was good, definitely could taste the crab. Could have done with more than 8 bread sticks that came with one order of dip, but ended up using it for the pizza crust.

I was picking up my car from Diver Chevy about dinner time and decided to try out some place different for a change. My wife and I are always looking for a good pizza and we happened to see the sign from the road. I am so glad we did. We very much enjoyed the food, service and decor. I had the chicken BBQ which I thought was amazing. We also had a build your own pepperoni and black olive pizza. This was plenty of food on it's own but we decided to see the desert menu and picked the Kentucky butter cake. While I am used to the bourbon variety, this was a delicious cake. Thanks for a pleasant evening.

First time in the Greenville Center and coming into this little gem. With a ton of covered outdoor seating, there are seats for all. The inside dining room is absolutely gorgeous and strategically spaced to be COVID-19 compliant. All of the wait staff were using hand sanitizer and masks. The mini pizzas are 7 inches while the regular is 12 inches. It’s wonderful that they have the create your own pizza, and cherry on top is the vegan options for those with dietary/allergy restrictions. I will definitely be returning here!

Dessert was the best part of this meal! Would highly recommend the cookie bomb! The pizza was good too! The restaurant has a cool artsy vibe to eat. My only complaint was that I saw a wasp flying around my table and could not concentrate on my food because I was watching my back the whole time. Service was super friendly.

It was okay, espresso martini was stronger than expected, caesar salad was good, pizza was okay - a bit disappointed in their size proportion on what they presented out as a regular which is what a small or personal size would be in a typical pizza place, but the made up for it with the dessert. As for price, you are paying more for the atmosphere vs the food so much.

And what a beautiful space they have created. The perfect spot for mother daughter lunch or for any dining experience honestly. While visiting Delaware for a weekend trip my cousin introduced us to this amazing restaurant. Their menu seems to be quite pricey compared to general restaurants but once you try out their food/service/environment you'll understand why. Their ingredients they use in their food is all high quality & premium. Service was fantastic & their choice of unique toppings & combos are well worth visiting over & over again. DEF make reservations to go there as it seems like its always very very busy with their limited hours located in the strip mall. Their personal size pizzas def wont fill you but pair it up with appetizers or soup & its basically a perfect meal. Will def visit again when visiting Delaware in the future.

We came here with a group of 8 , On a busy Saturday afternoon without reservations. We were still accommodated swiftly followed by the best pizza I’ve ever had. I continued to eat even when I was full, that’s how good it was ! The staff was pleasant, and even brought our table a free pizza ! My favorite part about Elizabeth’s was the ambience. I loved the decor ! And the BATH & BODY WORKS holiday scented hand soaps in the bathroom definitely won me over lol . I will definitely return in the near future.

After Winterthur we were looking for a nice place to eat dinner and boy did we find it. This looks nothing like a pizza place. it is a very sophisticated restaurant with a great cocktail menu, great service and the best pizza I may have ever eaten. The entire white pizza was a taste sensation but the crust was so flavorful, crisp and delicious it made the texture an experience all on it's own. Sadly this place is 2 hours from home but I will find excuses to go there again.

Great food and cute setup. Waitress overheard that we were celebrating my birthday and put a candle in the dessert we ordered! It speaks volumes when someone goes that extra step to make something special! The pizza is unique in a good way and the hummus appetizer was a fantastic way to start the meal. Sophisticated decor and ambience separate this moderately upscale pizza and salad restaurant from the Pizza Huts of the world. Alas, eager and attentive service resulted in a just average custom pizza with one of the toppings (crab meat) missing. Good dining choice for those with above average means and taste but may not be suitable others.

Eating here actually makes me feel guilty for giving other places 5 stars, because this place actually deserves every bit of that rating. The place is decorated well and designed upscale and kept very clean. The server Tom was very friendly and prompt. The pizza was great. One of the best restaurants and pizza places I’ve been to in a while (and I’ve been to a lot lately).

This place was suggested by some friends. Needless to say it did not disappoint! The buffalo dip was delicious, along with the Land & Sea Salad. A+++! They have quite a variety of salads. They all sound amazing. Reason for 4 stars: The pizza. Was not at all impressed with the pizza. We ordered 3 pizzas and they were pretty tasteless. I highly recommend this place for the large delicious salad and starter. Will definitely be going back!

Excellent lunch! My wife and I decided to go to Pizza By Elizabeth's and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was a nice atmosphere with simple breadsticks and salads today. The breadsticks were warm with a selection of sauces. The small salads were great portion sizes with the starter. We left not overly full, but not hungry either. At the end, we shared the Kentucky Butter Cake. A sweet treat for the end of a long week.

We went for lunch. We waited 15-20 minutes as a walk in. We started with a shrimp Caeser which was great. We had 2 sangria's which we enjoyed. We ordered the Hasslehoff pizza and a plain pizza which were incredible. As simple as it was I think we liked the plain more. Both were cooked perfectly. I ordered a slice of butter cake to go. I wish I had ordered 2. We are looking forward to going back.

I have lived within 10 minutes of this establishment my whole life and only went for the first time last year. Since then, I have had many great experiences at this restaurant. I most recently took my mom for her birthday and couldn't have enjoyed the food any more. We over ordered because they have so many good dishes on their menu. Love all their unique pizzas but also all their other dishes.

The food and service are amazing! Breadsticks were good for sharing since they were long, but the dipping sauces were good too! The pizza was even better! I ordered a mini personal ham and pineapple pizza and there were plenty of toppings on it! The inside is nice too, it has an artsy vibe inside of it, and servers are amazing too. They even give you toffee at the end of your meal, which is a nice finish. Will be back and I highly recommend this place!

I enjoyed my made to order pizza with so many unique ingredients to choose from and healthy options. The decor is wonderful! I adore their outdoor area in the front. They spaced the tables very far apart, amid COVID19, which was a sign they take this very seriously.

We had a baby shower for 50 people here on a Sunday in their private room. I had heard about this place but never been inside. When you enter from the parking lot you are in a grotto with tables and a fountain. Right there you realize this not an ordinary shopping center restaurant. There is a large bar area with TV's and a large dining area. The private dining area for parties is very spacious. The pizzas were delicious we had 8 different types and they were all eaten with great reviews from the guests. The appetizers were good each one done with a little extra flare. Interesting dips for the crudites, fabulous whipped creams for the cut fruit, one was peanut butter and had everyone coming back for seconds. The staff was great and thought of everything down to a trash bag for the wrapping paper from the gifts and a cart to take your gifts to the car. The attention to detail made for some very happy memories.

I am only giving three starts because of the service and the decor. I am a fairly new resident in Wilmington. I have seen a few post in Nextdoor and Facebook about this place and decided to give it a try. Well, how disappointing that was. I don't have any problems with the portion size, but i do have a problem with the quality of the food from start to finish including the presentation. I ordered a very simple pizza, small prosciutto and mozzarella (added fresh basil and some scallions). The presentation was, in my humble opinion, worth of a pizza purchased at a low cost small town pizzeria. The prosciutto they used is the crudo kind and it was obviously just "thrown" on the pie, the Basil and the scallions were not added. The taste was average, and that was my problem with the whole visit. The reviews I have read mention that the pizzas are "amazing". I must have visit the wrong Pizza by Elizabeth in Wilmington or the real Pizza master was off!. I am Italian, I know what a prosciutto pizza should look and taste like. Sorry, this place is a hard pass for me.

This was a welcome treat! The ambiance and interior was so pretty and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely a nice place to take a lady. The staff were friendly and the food came fast. Not sure what all the excitement was about. The place serves expensive, small, mediocre pizzas. There are numerous toppings, but nothing out of the ordinary—toppings you could order on a sub sandwich (though I appreciate the aged provolone). The pictures look like neopolitan pizza, but they’re not, just FYI. The crust is cracker thin and crispy, but bland. Sausage, oddly, was bland as well. Maybe resting on their laurels from a 2013 Zagat rating.

Pizza was fairly good, but waitress didn't get the toppings right. Fellow diners had lasagna that was barely warm. Service was slow too. We sat for a long time with dirty plates. I've had better experiences here, so I hope it was just an off night

We tried the bang bang shrimp tacos (special of the day) and they were amazingly delicious! I hope you’ll add these to your permanent menu. The butter cake was heavenly, too!! You’ve got to save room for this.

Surprisingly kid friendly if you can snag a booth. Very spaced out tables so you won't feel like your kids are being heard, and its also a loud talkative environment (in a good way). Pizza is unique and very high quality. I'm not here to compare it to the best Italian style pizza, because that's not what it is. It's just different, but very good. my favorite pizza here is called the Shannon with the honey wheat crust. Fig jam, prosciutto, blue cheese crumbles. It's an awesome departure from regular pizza and mixes it up a little bit. And of course you can custom order any pizza you want, including something more traditional. The desserts are something to try too. The chef makes everything and they always have some sort of seasonal cake that is very well done. This is one of my favorite spots in all of NCC.

I went on a Friday evening and the staff were very friendly, however our waiter seemed to be preoccupied by his female admirers and rushed our service. 4 out of 5 only because of the service. Will try again when we feel like dressing up for pizza.

Food was fantastic here. The salad I ordered with shrimp came to me with almost as many medium sized shrimp as there were spinach leaves. Pizzas are on the small side for the price, but they all have specialty toppings that you won't see in a mom/pop pizzeria. Everything is on the expensive side, but worth the extra cost of you value quality over quantity. If you're looking for Cheesecake Factory sized plates, go elsewhere.

Elegant, aerie, and haute. Enjoy the trip through the outside dining area as you enter the main dining room. The trickling fountain and the grotto-esque passage sets the tone for the elder woodwork and marble. Order the regular entrees or any of the Elizabethan ( you'll get it when you read the menu) pizzas. Or be creative and get your pie custom made. It is baked in a brick oven fired with wood. And, you can feel safe, because I sweep the Chimney every month!

Came here for lunch after visiting Winterthur and I gotta say after walking around the large estate for hours, this place hit the spot. The decor was lovely and the staff were friendly. I got the McGovern with mozzarella and pepperoni and the sauce had great flavor as did the pepperoni, and the crust had just the right amount of crispness and chewiness. My friend had the Hassleback with meatballs and she enjoyed hers as well. The pieces of toffee were a great way to cap off lunch. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great pizza.

Expect to wait a little bit for a table, the place can be crowded at times. As a result, parking can be a little dificult. But it's worth it. The pizza is very good. The servers have a tough job keeping up but since the pizza cooks so quickly, the wait isn't long. Prices aren't too bad either.

There is limited to no outdoor seating but indoors there is enough space for large groups although would have to arrange ahead. First time I ever ate here was tonight. The food was awesome. I had the artichoke crab dip with honey wheat breadsticks. For the entree I had tuna with asparagus and wasabi mash potatoes. Always delicious pizza at Pizza by Elizabeth’s (the “Davis” is the best) and my favorite salad is the Spinach Salad...really enjoy all the walnuts, bacon and mandarin oranges that are in it, in addition to, blue cheese crumbles and egg:). Love all of their dips to go with the breadsticks, especially the roasted peppers, mushroom duxelles and honey dijon. The Lavender Lemon Drop Martini is such a refreshing delight!! 👍👍👍

Classy, trendy, and a whole lot of yum! Found this place on a whim on the way back from Wilmington. We were looking for a casual lunch spot so took to Yelp to find a fitting location. This place has great reviews, and the options for vegetarians were decent (and who doesn't like pizza?) It's located in a large shopping complex right off the main road so be sure you look out for it as you near or you'll miss where you have to enter into the plaza - and then you're stuck turning around and trying again (and all that mumbo jumbo that comes with it...) Upon entering, there is a small outdoor/indoor space with a relaxing water fixture and small tables before entering into the main dining space. Inside it's open concept and very comfortable. The bar meets you on the right, and the reception counter to check in is adjacent to the bar. I had made a reservation and we were a few minutes early, but they were able to seat us readily - woot woot! The menu is pretty diverse - I love that there were vegan and gluten free options. There's also monthly specials in the beginning of the menu - the list showcases dishes using more seasonal ingredients. We chose to go with the "regular" pizza pie - and they were able to split the pie into two different variations (since we couldn't decide on just one recipe hehe). The pizza was delicious! The portion was ample and I could taste all the ingredients. It was just the right amount of hearty without feeling stuffed - which is always my yardstick of measure of how much I enjoyed a meal haha. The server was great in answering all our questions, and checked in on us plenty to see how things were going. We definitely enjoyed ourselves, and ended up staying through the lunch crowd to dinner time! Even so, there was no rush from the wait staff to move us along which was very nice of them to let us hang. I'm definitely going to keep this place in mind if I find myself in the area again. I'll be looking forward to trying more menu options and since there's more to discover with the changing specials - who knows what's in store!

Harry and I ate lunch at Pizza by Elizabeth. Harry ordered pizza and I ordered a Caesar Salad. Both were horrible. Harry's pizza tasted like tomato sauce on glorified matzoh. Ugh. My Caesar Salad was vinegary, with otherwise, no taste. I requested anchovies, which the server brought quickly. (The service was friendly and helpful.) The anchovies tasted very much like herring. This was one of the worst Caesar Salads I'd had in a very long time. The other customers were beautifully dressed with beautiful shoes. I recommend Pizza by Elizabeth for people-watching. Just don't order what we did, unless you like that kind of thing.

Food was delicious service was great. Had to DEDUCT one star for billing procedure at end of meal. We were a large party of 13 . In this day and age of computers this restaraunt was unable (unwilling??) to do individual bills. At the end of the evening, this created confusion and took extra time to calculate and pay the bill. Several people had to leave early & were unable to properly pay their portion of the bill. Time had to be spent trying to figure out the bill instead of socializing and enjoying friends' company. Come on Elizabeth's, even cheap diners provide individual bills, hence a lower score for you.

Husband and I spent the day at the Brandwine River Museum and Longwood Gardens to celebrate the holidays. We decided to head to Elizabeth's on our way home. I had been there before with my sister and girl cousins, and had a good "girlish" time, because of the "Elizabeth" theme. We were seated immediately. Ben was our efficient, friendly, attentive waiter. We had a bottle of wine, shared a spinach salad, and ordered two pizzas. It is really more like flatbread style pizza, as the crust is crispier, but it is cooked in a wood fired oven. We had the Elizabeth Taylor, and the Elizabeth Shannon. Both were very tasty, my husband preferred the Taylor because of the sundried tomatoes, goat cheese, and olives. The Shannon had fig jam, with prosciutto, gorgonzola and scallions. It was a little too sweet for his taste. It would have been better with some arugula on top to cut the sweetness, or in season, sliced figs. Very airy and attractive restaurant. Mixed crowd of people, young adults, couples, family groups. A little pricy, but you pay for the decor and the service. Nice place to have dinner at the end of our holiday visit to the area.
