Absolutely loved it! Spice level, portions and a very tasty food. We ordered vegetarian food, pasta for us, Mac and cheese for the little one. The staff is attentive and very helpful. I recommend it any day.

I've never had a bad experience with Mazellas. The food is excellent and the customer service is top notch. Gets pretty busy especially on Friday and Saturday nights so keep that in mind when placing an order.

This is a nice eatery to go to for lunch. I chose the Italian Sausage Primo lunch special. Everything is freshly made to order so you must be patient. Josefina was my exceptional server. It is because of her that I will be returning. I received stellar service and was treated with that extra measure of care. Wow!

Food was sooooo good!!! The garlic knots would have been better if they were warm, but other than that everything was super tasty. The Italian Wedding soup was great and there was even an egg in it! The portions are huge, so definitely bring your appetite!

Went to pick up pizza and on my way in fell. Messed up my hands really bad. No one even asked if I was ok. They acted as if it was no biggie. I am not sure why I fell, but a bit of compassion would have been nice. The customers came over to offer help, but the owner instead went and acted as if I was going to sue, which I know as the others, it really was an accident. I'm not that kind of person. It will be a while before I go back. No compassion, no heart.

Most restaurants close early during pandemic, it is very difficult for healthcare workers who work long hours to find places to eat after work. Mazzellas was nice enough to let us eat there before closing and not rushing us out . Thank you

The best Italian food I have had in my life. The potion size can feed 2 persons and the prices are remarkable for so much great food. You receive an appetizer with your order with unlimited garlic bread and the drinks are refillable. The service was outstanding I wish we had a Mezzellas Italian restaurant in the Bahamas were I could experience this awesome food on a regular basis. This restaurant is worth your time, money and your taste buds you'll enjoy it.

I am Italian American and had dinner with my Mother, Brother and Youngest Nephew on Saturday September 24, 2022, after visit to Our Lady Shrine and Mass at Holy Spirit. Excellent Veal and Pasta Dishes after appetizer of Neopolitan Pizza. High quality ingredients with friendly owners and staff. Service was great.

I have been hearing great things about Mazzella’s dinners for a long time. Big portions, no sharing. They have a cheesesteak with Broccoli Rabe on the menu. I think that is a bold statement. What I hear is that it is hard to make a good broccoli rabe. This was a good broccoli rabe. The rest of the cheesesteak was very traditional. I looked into the diner and they do serve big portions.

Food is outstanding. One of my husband favorites! Truly we go often & love the food! Every time we have been there, we have had mistakes. I never complain but it involved allergies so no choice, unless we just didnt eat. The mistakes were Always corrected & handled with courtesy & respect but the meals were not in sync. Silver lining...we always take home tons of leftovers (3 meals) and Never leave hungry! Excellent food!

We had a large group of about 20 people there for lunch. The menu was extensive, including many options for vegetarians. The prices seemed high until we saw the portion sizes—enormous. The food was tasty, and all 5 people at my table had plenty to take home after the meal. Two of us had penne arrabiata, which was spicy and delicious. My wife and a friend both had pasta (fettuccine, I think) with broccoli rabe, which they enjoyed. The other person at our table, whose grandmother owned an Italian restaurant back in the day, had the eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti, and she gave it a thumbs up. The only appetizer we were aware of another table ordering was cheese bread, which was okay. We also didn't order any desserts. (I don't remember if they even offered desserts, although most Italian restaurants have tiramisu, cannoli, cheesecake, and/or gelato. We never saw a menu.) I'd be glad to eat there again.

I have lived and worked in the area for over 19 years and I have always loved this place!! I have come here for work lunches, family dinners, take-out orders, catered work events, catering for fundraisers, and dinners in their party room. The portions are huge, the food is delicious, and the staff is fantastic. Prices are beyond reasonable. My latest obsession is their spinach, tomato, and ricotta slices. I call ahead and have two slices heated for me when I arrive. They are super inexpensive and sooooo good and filling!! I always order two because they are so delicious, but they are too much because they are huge!! They always have pies you can order by the slice which I highly recommend for a quick bite. Their seafood pasta is my favorite meal, and always results in two awesome meals for me. HIGHLY recommend!!

Pizza was ok....they use frozen spinach and canned pineapple on pizza. Fresh spinach would’ve been nicer and it wouldn’t have been cold like the frozen one was. Probably would only order cheese from them if I decided to return.

I live close to this restaurant and let me tell you, after years of coming here I have never been disappointed. From incredible pizza, delicious pasta, to by far the antipasto salad around. I recommend this place to EVERYONE! But come hungry and expect to take home atleast half of your meal because the portions are family style. And for those looking for that little bit of extra comfort during covid, all tables and booths are spaced out and heavily sanitized between each new customer. Easiest 5 star review I could give🙂

We enjoyed a delicious Italian feast from Mazzellas. Customer service on the phone and in the restaurant was courteous and efficient. Since it was our first time trying the restaurant we ordered variety of dishes Chicken Parmesan (includes side of spaghetti), Chicken Alfredo with Fettuccine, Meat Lasagna and Ravioli Ella Nonna. I thought, oh it's only 5 raviolis will it be enough food? These are TEXAS sized heavenly clouds of fresh pasta with ricotta in a positively scrumptious aurora sauce, it was everyone's favorite dish. The Chicken Parm was flavorful and again a huge portion, but the chicken was a bit overdone, likely due to travel time. The meat lasagna had great texture and comforting flavor... and of course a generous portion. The Chicken Alfredo was positively decadent, nicely seasoned with very tender chicken. Side salads and sliced bread were also included with the entrees. I think we have at least 2 more meals of leftovers! Thanks, we will be back!

There is amazing service here. The staff here are very nice and devoted to their customers needs. The food comes out quickly and is very high quality. This restaurant serves some of the best Italian food I have ever had and their desserts are unique and delicious. The atmosphere here is classy and cozy at the same time. Mazzellas has a very spacious bar and seating arrangement.

This restaurant food is delicious. My family and I stopped by this restaurant on our way home from NY back to VA. The pizza is perfect; it was not greasy, and the toppings did not fall off of the pizza. I ordered a Phillip steak and cheese sub with fries that were very tasteful, fulfilling, and delicious. My family and I are tempted to drive 5 hours to eat here again. I highly recommend eating here.

We took our dad there to celebrate his 82nd birthday. This was our first time there. My dad loves Italian food. After waiting for an hour in half for the food. It was worth the wait. I will try take out next time because the food was really good and he really enjoyed his dish.

Pizza is delicious but limit your toppings. If you get more toppings then just one or two the pie doesn't seem to get cooked all the way through. The entree portions are huge too. Love this place.

Pizza is great, toppings are plentiful! We almost always do takeout and have never had a bad pizza/meal. The meals are also excellent and plentiful. So much that this is one of the only places where most everyone has leftovers! Parking SUCKS but you really can't hold that against them.

This place is 5 mins away but I've never gone because I like to order online. Well I got the courage to call them up to order and I've been back 3 times since then! The pizza is soooooooo good. The seasonings in the sauces, the saltiness of the bacon, the perfect amount of cheese. It is amazing. Be warned you can sit at home and devour a whole pizza yourself because it is amazing! Parking can be tricky because they are so popular so be careful there.

If you love italian classics and enormous portions, then this place is for you. The food was delicious, but I found the portions to be offputting. It's great value for money, but I don't personally need or want 2 pounds of pasta as my entree. The house sauce is positively addictive and should be bottled and sold in stores. Just be prepared to take your leftovers home!

I work rite down the street and we order out here at least every other week. I have never had a bad dish there. My personal favorite is the penne aurora, simple but so tasty. It is probably my most favorite Italian restaurant in the area. We enjoy coming in even when I am not working.

Did you get a new cook? I’ve been getting your chicken cheesesteaks for years and they’ve always been great. The last two weeks they have been awful. There is hardly any cheese on them so you’re just choking down dry chicken. I couldn’t even eat the second half of the one I got last night.

A traditional Italian restaurant offering pizza as well as plenty of other conventional dishes. My only complaint with Mazella's is the parking situation. It's always tough to park with the limited number of spots available and many people choose to park on the street or the sidewalk. But all in all, a fine establishment that I would recommend to anybody in the mood for Italian food.

The taste of the food is usually good, portion size nice unless you order scallops which are my favorite. I would have given 3 stars for today but it would be unfair based on one visit. I got penne with scallops and aurora sauce ($22) and got the equivalence of 3 med size scallops sliced thin and the cheese on top of the eggplant rollatini was burnt as well. I think it was just an off day. Usually, ravioli della nonna is phenomenal, Jumbo shrimp, crabmeat, tomato in white sauce and the ricotta, spinach, tomato pizza is great!!!

Already left a review on yelp but this place is so great I tell everyone! The food is the best and the people are better. Not only are the portions huge but the quality is there too. With a family of 5 it's nice that my wife and I can share an entree and appetizer. We usually do take out since our kids are still pretty young and just crazy little animals not suitable for public but the inside looks cozy and fun. The kids love the food there also which is saying something. One of my favorites is the penne primavera which is a meatless meal, and I'm a big believer that every meal needs meat. That and I've never had eggplant that I liked and this dish has lots of it. You Gotta try the calamari! Not only is it tender and sweet but the breading they use has the perfect spicing! Tried the misto mare with linguini for the first time last night and it was superb! My new favorite.

The place doesn't have much atmosphere, but it sure smelled good when we walked inside. They seem to do a great take out pizza business. I ordered the chicken parm, which came with spaghetti and red sauce. The chicken was a huge piece of breaded goodness. The red sauce was just ok, and the spaghetti had been sitting in water WAY too long (ie: nasty). Love the chicken part though. My friend ordered stuffed shells, and he said the filling was kind of gritty, and could have used an egg (give that a whirl guys, and do a taste test). You will get bread while you're waiting, and it will be warm, which I find preferable to other places which serve cold bread with cold butter. I will come back, and try a pizza, the next time I'm in town.

My apologies as somehow i didn't realize it left 1 star. I did have to return my onion rings and get them remade as the 2 orders of I had bought were extremely over cooked. Guys had no problem remaking them and making it right. If I didn't live 2 hrs away (was in town visiting) I'd definitely be ordering there often.

In addition to dining here often since it's our "neighborhood pizza place," my family recently called upon Mazzella's to cater a luncheon, on very short notice, for a party of 25 in their private room. Their service was outstanding. Somehow the waitress kept everyone's beverage orders straight, the delicious food was piping hot and attractively displayed, and the tables were whisked clean between courses without us even noticing. We were so fortunate to have this local gem to lend us a hand when my family really needed it. Thanks, Mimmo and team!

What's not to love with this place. I even by the list of bread they serve. Not to mention the BEST pizza in town. . . It does get crowded for lunch and parking can be a hassle. Never the less, food is always good and a lot of it. Be prepared to ask for to go boxes at the end of your meal. WORTH IT!

My husband and I try and have an indoor date night every month and it all started with mazzellas seafood pasta. I forget the name but for a few bucks you can make an order to share with 2 separate entree,salad and garlic bread. So good def a must try if your in the area. A great family Italian Restaurant nestled in the heart of the Bellefonte community on Philadelphia Pike across from J &J Produce. The Pizza and the more traditional Italian entrees of spaghetti and meatballs and the eggplant parmigiana are excellently prepared . The servers for our table were two charming young women, one Hispanic and the other Caucasian , one blonde and pale , the other dark brunette with smiles to brighten even a blood moon. :-)

Getting a slice of pizza wait wasn't that bad. Sitting was torture. Seemed like the waitresses were tired. The sauce on the lasagne tasted like it came from a can, Mexican music playing in the background which I'm ok with....it just threw off the whole Italian vibe. It was very confusing. The decor was Greek mediteranian and Tuscan wall paper and drapes. This place came recommended by a coworker...they missed the mark with this one. Only thing was tasty was the lemoncello cake. I think this place needs Bar Rescue asap. They seem like they have a decent menu they just need a revamp. Seems like they've bee carrying the same look for years.
