Reviews of The Atlantic
Amber Hall-DeSantis
Loved the decor & atmosphere. Great service. The food was good, too. We got too much food. Thought it was tapas style, but it was actually good-sized portions! The calamari was good and done sweet (my preference), the crab dip was delicious and not overly spicy and paired with warmed pita. I tried the fish & chips- it was good but a bit heavily breaded- which hurts me to say because it was delicious and I may be the outlier in saying that because I'm not a fan of breaded foods. My scallops were impressively served in a shell on a bed of rock salt. So gorgeous. They taste wonderful. The server was on it, never letting our glasses reach empty before offering a refill and checking on us an appropriate amount without being overbearing. A lovely lunch.

One of our best meals so far in VA Beach.
You guys definitely have to try it.
It has so busy but we didn’t mind sitting at the bar the bartender was great definitely next time we make a reservation.
BEST BEST BEST!!
Thank you.. see you soon. Still have the taste of the crab dip in my mouth.

Best: ceviche, oysters, hush puppies, and amazingly unique seafood pot pie. We also had baked scallops with shrimp and crab, and blackened fish tacos. Add to that fantastic service and fun cocktails this is the place to come when in Virginia Beach!! Parking is valet only, which is a bit odd, but it’s complementary, so don’t let that chase you away from a great meal and fun experience!!

By far one of my favorite gems when I come to VA Beach; drinks are amazing, food is top notch, the atmosphere is 🔥🔥 and staff is wonderful!! Honestly, the oyster bar is an underrated location to dine inside. The gentleman who shucks oysters creates a dining experience that takes the cake. I’ve been coming for the past 3 years and he is one pillar that has remained consistent. He detailed and explains oyster profiles and is a blessing to be around.
When touching VA Beach, you must come here

I have been here a few times, most recently this past Saturday for restaurant week. We were able to be sat quickly even with how busy they were. Our server (blonde female) was outstanding. I wish I wrote her name down, she was so personable, knowledgeable and attentive.
Food was delicious and fresh. Portion size for the price was a great deal. The restaurant week menu had plenty of variety as well.
I have yet to have bad meal here. Oysters are fresh and they have a wide selection. They offer a wonderful happy hour with both drinks and food selections. Highly, highly recommend if you have yet to try this place out.

10/10 this place is AMAZING. The service is incredible. The food is sooooooo good. They are tapas style. The clams were amazing. The salmon was the best I ever had. The goat cheese dip was also amazing. I know it seems like I’m hyping them up but it was really that good

Best food ever and great service. Brad and Heather are the best. They help you in selecting the best items on the menu. By the way all items are best and are really friendly. Me and my wife had to extended our stay just because there where closed on new year. That is how much we love this place.
John
Fantastic food and drinks. Awesome oysters. Excellent cocktails
I wish the plates were a bit easier to share. Also it's a bit loud if you are in a group/table larger than 4

My fellow Veteran and I enjoyed the appetizers during their Happy Hour from 3:00 to 6:00. We originally went for the lobster roll and we split one. It was $28 but varied with market value. It was okay but small. They allow oysters 🦪 with orders of 3 or more and have several selections. We ordered 12 total which included 3 fried oysters, 3 with chorizo and a couple other variations with 3 of each. My friend enjoyed a double burger 🍔 for $6 on the Happy Hour menu as well. I thought the short ribs were dry and overpriced. The baked scallops came with a brown sauce covering them…all in a dish shaped like a shell. We also ordered a dessert but beware there are no desserts on the menu so ask your server what’s available. The drink I ordered had fresh mint a slice of cucumber…tasty yet subtle. Great service….nice people. Great atmosphere. Valet parking. Clean restrooms. I highly recommend and plan to return soon. Took way too many pics but there were a lot of choices and we ordered a lot.

The food was excellent. Very much a "foodie" restaurant. It's pricey but very high quality. Portion sizes are good though the oysters were small. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was very good but had some dark meat which I'm not a fan of. Friendly service.
Heather Higgins
Great find! The oyster menu is like a well cured wine menu. There are so many to choose from. The Thanksgiving stuffed baked oyster was delicious.
Must try the Muscadet wine! It's a red and compliments the oysters nicely.

Best Oyster bar in Virginia Beach. Excellent service, food and drinks are impeccable. Food is served tapas style, and everything on the menu is good. Staff is quick and welcoming.

My family and I were in Virginia Beach ⛱️ for vacation and we wanted to eat at a nice seafood restaurant without breaking the bank. A hotel employee recommended "The Atlantic" restaurant.
The Atlantic is very close to the beach and boardwalk. We arrived during happy hour, and the place was jumping! The staff are very cordial, the atmosphere is family friendly, it's a mixed patron demographic of young hipsters, family, and seniors.
The food?
The food is AMAZING! If you're in Virginia Beach, give yourself and your taste buds a huge treat, dine at The Atlantic!

First time here and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and the $1 oyster were worth it! Let’s not forget about the staff! I definitely recommend!
Libby A Mills
Delicious food, great staff and beautiful selection of oysters, both raw and cooked.
The menu runs a bit on the high carb side if that is a diet issue. But it is delicious 😋.
Would definitely recommend the Pungo Sour for a cocktail.
marz martain
The staff was friendly. Food although the portions are what our society would consider small. They were actually perfect. The food was surprising and delightful. Swordfish Tacos were delish. We had a variety of oysters all very fresh and tasty. Mignonette was great. Loved the cocktails. Fun time

Came here for a date night and really enjoyed our experience. We grabbed a couple of small eats, and they were all delicious. My favorite was for sure the mussels. The drinks were made well, and the service was great. Valet is always great, especially in these colder temperatures. We will definitely be back.
Dave
Being from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I have love of good seafood, especially oysters and The Atlantic has it all in spades👍
Great food at reasonable prices, served by friendly and super helpful staff!
I'll definitely be back!

The Atlantic on Pacific is located on the corner of Pacific Ave. and 30th Street at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Parking is available on the south side of the building, where I almost missed it. That parking is at the corner of Pacific Ave. and 30th Street. My visit here was for a work holiday luncheon on December 15, 2021.
Coming here for our luncheon was recommended by others in our group at work. This was my first time here and I am always up for trying something new to me. After getting parked, I went inside, and one of the others I know at work was there already, so I went over to the table. The server was quick to come over and ask what I wanted to drink.
After a few more minutes, the rest of the party was here. Once everyone was settled in and got their drink orders in, we all talked about different appetizers to try out. In the end, we got several different appetizers as a group. The appetizers were the Ham and Pimento Sweet Potato Biscuits, Virginia Blue Crab Hushpuppies, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, and the Shrimp, Scallop and Pork Dumplings. I am not a fan of Brussel sprouts, so that was the only appetizer item I didn't try. All of the other appetizers I tried out were really good, and my favorite of the ones I tried were the Virginia Blue Crab Hushpuppies (it's not hard to get addicted to them).
After we had started on the appetizers, our server came over asking if we were all ready to order our entrées. I decided to go with the Lobster Mac & Cheese. After about ten minutes or so after ordering, our entrées came to the table. It took a few moments of course since we had a nice size group, but we almost had the place to ourselves. For me, the Lobster Mac & Cheese was creamy and really good. Looks can be deceiving as it was bigger than it initially looked.
Overall, the food and service were great. Even though the menu is pretty small, there does seem to be something for everyone there. With great food and service, I totally recommend coming here, so if you're looking for something to eat at the oceanfront, you should definitely consider checking this place out.

Delicious food! Most things do not come with sides. Great restaurant for trying a variety of things. We have three different kinds of raw oysters, oysters rockefeller, scallops, and muscles.
Alex Pierce
This place is a wonderful up -scale oyster bar. Dress is between casual and dressy. While I did not try the oysters, their hot menu was delicious. I came with one other person and we shared a few items off the menu. This restaurant is tapas inspired, so think individual portions or small plates. The shrimp and pork wontons are delicious with a hint of orange, but beware they are very spicy. The crab dip was rich with a touch of old bay and herbs. The baked goat cheese with tomato jam and pesto was creamy and devine, one of my favorites . Additionally we ordered the north shore (pineapple and rum), pungo sour (honey, vanilla, and lemon), Paloma, and sangria with rosè. All drinks were fabulous. Prices were about $12-14 for drinks and $14 plus for entrees. I would highly recommend if you’re a local or just visiting.

What started off as questioning the decision to come here turned into a great evening. Was not completely aware of the happy hour and started with a 1 1/2 hour wait. Fortunately, went to a nearby location for drinks to wait and got a call within 30 minutes that a cocktail table was available. While the seating at the table was in the waiting area, it turned out great. Great selection of oysters and other items. Fresh oysters were excellent, and it was refreshing to have mignonotte versus the usual offerings. Mignonette is the best with fresh raw oysters. Fried oysters with aioli were amazing, and we kept the airline for the steamed Carolina shrimp. The variety of baked oysters was impressive, with each version perfectly done. Esteban was our waiter providing an excellent along with the rest of the staff, ensuring our food and drinks came out at just the right time. Would highly recommend.
Dan Mason
Nickie was awesome; the food was incredible. We nibbled on several items while sipping our craft cocktails. Shhh. Don't tell too many people. We want to keep this amazing place to ourselves. Opps...to late.

Everything was perfect! Even the fries were perfect, which I couldn’t believe. The absolute best lobster roll. The crab toast was delightful to look at, then devour. The server was fantastic too. We will return.
Andrew Strachan
Amazing oyster Rockefeller. All the oyster options were great. The other entres we ordered where ok, the fish pot pie was great though. If coming, I'd recommend really only ordering the oyster options as there are many.
Ayman Mobin
Great seafood restaurant in the VA beach area. Lots of different options to try both food and drink wise. Be sure to check out the specials menu as there are a lot of good options there too. The reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the portions were kind of small. The lobster roll that I had was small compared to other lobster rolls I have had in other locations, but it was still delicious though. The waitress did tell us that the restaurant was semi tapas style so some dishes were smaller than others but it’s unclear which ones could be a whole entree and which ones could fall under the tapas style. Worth trying if you’re in the area but don’t be surprised if you leave feeling not completely fulfilled.
Patrick Everson
Small portions, ordered 3 items for myself (but I'm a fatty, and I was hungry). The baked scallops were freakin' good. Almost ordered a second batch. Lobster roll was alright, with dope fries! (Not worth the market price) Dumplings were good, great spice (hot!), but small portions was a theme, as others have said. I intend to be back!
Robin L. Luther
Great overall. Happy is the best with $1 oysters and discount drinks. All the food was good. Lobster Crocketts scallops etc.
Preston Burns
The best happy hour at the beach! Oyster specials galore!
On a recent return with some friends we tried several appetizers and a few dishes family style. We enjoyed striped bass sliders, baked scallops, blue crab risotto, raw oysters and a bottle of wine too. The prices are reasonable and the service is tops!
Mary Zina
Wow wow wow. This restaurant is one of, if not the best that I have been to on the beach. Everything was absolutely amazing, the food melted in your mouth and was so flavorful and the presentation was phenomenal. Our server was so incredibly sweet and attentive. This place is 1000/10 amazing I will definitely be coming back.
Tatiana Russell
Very busy on an off-season Saturday but they offer beverages and appetizers while you wait for a table. The oysters were underwhelming, not the cleanest. Most of the food was good, great happy hour prices, too. Super friendly and fast service.
Isabella Ayala
Definitely check this place out. We absolutely loved this place and ended up going 3 days in a row. They have a great happy hour menu with $1 oysters which is why we kept coming back. We loved the rockefeller baked oysters and the crab cake was phenomenal.
Charles Sweeney
Our server was awesome and the food is delicious. The honey mustard salmon is out of this world. I definitely recommend this place
Kharisma Brown
I decided to try this place out while visiting on vacation and I loved it. The vibe was nice and chill. The happy hour menu had a lot to offer. I had the oyster rock, the double cheeseburger, and a few cocktails. The cocktails were carefully blended and smooth. I’ll definitely be trying this one again.

Had dinner here and had a good time, everyone here was friendly, food was great! Big shout-out to my boy Bo who put me on raw oysters for the first time, "Laughing kings" we're the ones I enjoyed the most.
R Jones
Nice place with variety offering of raw oysters, don't remember how many varieties (more than 4) @market price today between $2.75 to $4each. I believe I ordered 12 Watch Hill variety (so good, shucked & so fresh 😋). Crab & corn salad a bit pricey but so good, not gamey & argula freshens up the taste.

My boyfriend took me here on our one year anniversary after hearing about it from a coworker. The food was pretty tasty and the frozen margarita I got was good. They have a huge whiskey selection, which my boyfriend loved. I was pretty bummed the menu didn't have anything to designate gluten free, so I was flying blind with what we ordered. It is tapas style, so order a bunch of dishes to share. If they had labeled gluten free we probably would have ordered more, but went with what seemed safe. They did have a flourless tort which was good, but small since it was tapas style. Unfortunately I couldnt try any other option since they weren't gluten free. The food is delicious, so give it a try. And maybe they will help a sista out and label things gluten free in the future!
Josh Schultz
Even though it was not where we originally planned to eat, we walked in on a busy Saturday afternoon and they were able to seat us at a cocktail table right away. Our server was amazing and the food was the same. We had the restaurant week menu with the caesar salad, short rib gnocchi and bourbon maple cream brule.
I enjoyed the salad and liked the deconstructed style of the anchovies on top.
The gnocchi and short rib was amazing, the sauce was perfect not to heavy, that it makes you full, but heavy enough to coat the gnocchi or your spoon. The short ribs were cooked very well, it melted in your mouth.
The cream brulee was probably one of the best I've ever had. It was very flavorful but at the same time very light. After a three course meal with drinks I was worried it would be a very dense and heavy custard, but thankfully it was perfect.
I highly recommend going to this place, I did not try any but their oyster list also looked awesome, my favorite thing was they offered different types of Rockefeller more than just the one traditional spinach and Parm.

A great place for oysters and service was amazing.
Shannon our server was just amazing and very accommodating. Highly recommended

Staff was very friendly , attentive (despite it being an extremely busy night) and helpful with suggestions. The food was incredible. Oysters were fresh, briny and delicious. I do not like eggs and yet I tried and enjoyed the Devil salmon eggs. The Brussels sprouts were crispy , creamy and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We played a game of ranking our favorite food and drink of the night and had a hard time deciding because everything was that good. Highly recommend the happy hour. All staff was top notch. Can not wait to return.

Visited The Atlantic on June 13th, 2022 for the first time and WOW!!! I honestly would give this place 20 stars out of 5 if I could. The atmosphere, staff, design of the building, silverware place setting, bar design, and of course the food is AMAZING!! The Atlantic devil eggs were the best I ever and I do mean ever had in my life!! If you are in Virginia Beach area please please please visit this hidden gem of a restaurant 😊

My boyfriend heard so many good things about the happy hour here we decided to check it out. Everytime we have tried to come it's been too packed to get in, so today we came half an hour early to insure a seat.
We were seated immediately and were waited on promptly. Our waitress Nikki, was friendly and understanding that we arrived early. My guess would be this is a common occurrence as it didn't phase her at all. She said she'd give us time and come back around HH. Which, she did. Nikki was an attentive waitress.
We ordered the crispy brussel sprouts, which was pretty tiny (see picture next to cocktail glass for size reference), and they were spicy but delicious! 😋 The alcoholic drinks came with one large ice cube which I found to be adorable, as well as functional (stronger drink). My boyfriend had the happy hour old fashioned, which was ok. His new fashioned, at full price was much smoother and therefore good. My water.... not so much. Sadly the water had a bit of sewage taste to it. I added lemon but it didn't help unfortunately. But, judging by the menu, I don't think many people come here for water. 🤪
Overall, pretty pricey, but if you can afford it, the food is good and, while the portion sizes are tiny for an American joint, they are appropriately portioned for health. We will likely be back.

So first off wow. Went in for dinner and had one of the greatest meals in my life. Great friendly owner that will check on you and wonderful staff. Started with a delicious cocktail, greatest salad I've ever had try the beat salad. Oysters great and entree epic. We were full, but had to try dessert which didn't disappoint at all. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Atlantic restaurant.

The Atlantic on Pacific is one of the new front runners for best restaurants in VB. Fantastic staff, great atmosphere and incredible food. They have an incredible HAPPY HOUR with high end clean dolla dolla oysters y’all and much much more. Plenty of small bites, think tapas style and a variety of entrees. Take a seat at the bar and order the Paloma you won’t regret it. Solid wine and Bourbon collection. Don’t forget the Deviled Eggs. Noms. Cheers.
Jessica K
This place is amazing! All of the food and drinks we ordered were delicious. I will order 3 orders of dumplings next time.
Parking - Free valet parking.
Service - It was pretty packed so we sat at the bar. Servers and bartenders were quick and friendly.
Price - Prices are very reasonable. Pretty cheap for the quality of food and the atmosphere.

We came for a Sunday afternoon lunch, it was quite busy but they were able to seat and serve us very promptly.
We ordered pretty much a full spread, as this was my first time here. Started with the seafood sampler with lobster tail, oysters, clams, shrimp, and crab legs. It came with 2 different types of oysters, but I also ordered some of the oysters Rockefeller for something different.
For my entree, I went with the crab cake with broccoli salad.
The overall experience, service and food quality was excellent!
Habiba El Abd
Love this place their dinner menu is better then their brunch menu, the seafood is fresh and their oysters are great!
UPDATE: went for brunch on Sunday their small plates are flavorsome but small we had the shrimp ceviche, caviar hors dourves hush puppies, oysters the crispy Brussel sprouts were amazing! Portions are small though
Melinda Hicks
Delicious! Ordered the lobster roll on toasted bread which was PHENOMENAL. It tasted so fresh and was seasoned well. The fries were yummy too of course. It was about $31 which is pricy considering the smaller size. However, very delicious and memorable in my opinion!
Wendy Moffit
This review is based on the menu change. We were disappointed to find out they got rid of the steak frites. Not exactly sure of the logic behind that, why remove steaks and fries from a menu?! It was indeed quite the let down, then to find out they added short ribs in its place!? not as excited, no offense to rib lovers everywhere, they just weren't as tasty. The steak frites were the bees knees. especially after we slammed 2 dozen or more oysters.. I do how ever love this spot, its definitely a place to bring any oyster lover. caution the happy hour is pretty crazy, you may be disappointed if you're a first timer coming in to sit expecting good service. wait till the rush is over, trust me. Service is hit or miss. The tall guy that works shucking oysters, who practically lives there, He was enjoyable to interact with he has a little bottle of pearls from all the oysters, if you ask him he'll show them to you. ENJOY! and bring back the steak frites!

Tasty food, great atmosphere and great service! Prices are decent, nice menu with many choices.

Unusual gourmet dining. Small plates with big flavor. Cucumber salad with feta and walnuts was creamy and fresh. Lobster and chorizo quesa was excellent. The Bay gives you flavor from all over. Cedar plank salmon very nice. If you were not expecting sushi style get it done medium well. Brownie sundae pushed this review over the top. Heather was an excellent server. Make sure to try this restaurant
Taylor Jones
Whether you like oysters or not, this place has something for you. Went during happy hour and it has became my new favorite restaurant. Each person got a different tray of oysters and we shared, but my favorite was the oysters Chesapeake. They still had a hint of the saltiness and the ocean that I like. The oysters rock had a creamy spinach mixture, and the oysters pacific had a taco-y chorizo flavor. We left not feeling overly full and very happy. Pricing at happy hour was amazing. Very happy with our visit.

Progressive date started with apps here i forgot to take a picture of the oysters my hisband ordered. We dined outside in the tent the variety of oysters they offer are amazing. My husband did 9 oysters from their special menu they serve them in 3's so he tried some from different areas. We had the miso sticky wings great flavor and crunchy for pan fried. The hushpuppies are good they had crabmeat inside served with melted butted yum..perfect start for our date. The only draw backs were the 1st hostess offered us outside seating in which we accepted and then when the 2nd hostess came up she gave off a vibe like we couldnt sit there. Our server was informative but didnt keep the one soda on our table full. However we will be back. Update: We have made this our new Happy hour spot because its 7 days a week from 3-6 and we try to go early and sit at the raw bar...let me tell you this spot is now our happy place. Its always good to give 2nd tries and this is now a hidden gem for locals!

Love The Atlantic for delicious, fresh oysters! Shuckers are super fast and the oysters are cleanly shucked. Great raw oysters (8+ types daily!), and best happy hour 3-6pm daily. Already great menu updated recently - even better!
Victoria Thomas
This place is AMAZING! Go during Happy Hour (3p-6p, every day) and you won’t regret it! I was in town for a week for a conference and I went TWICE! Awesome burgers, great fries, and the oysters are to DIE FOR! I wish I could give this place MORE than 5 stars!

Loved the scallop, unique and delicious take on hush puppies; I can't imagine a more flavorful shrimp boil. Service was quick and helpful. Sit at the clam bar if offered as that was delightfully entertaining. Filling and well worth the money.
Billie Jo Burbage
I can't say enough good things about this place. Amazing top notch service from seasoned, attentive staff. Food is served timely and everything was insanely delicious. We had three different varieties of oysters, the baked goat cheese appetizer, the cheeseburger (only $6 on happy hour!), and the beet salad. Presentation and flavors were on point. Place was packed on football Sunday, even with no tvs (pretty impressive in my book).
It's a must try.

Oysters were delicious and I love that they have a variety with different flavors that accent the oysters. First time trying raw and definitely recommend that red wine juice on them to offset the mild fishy flavor if you’re not into that. Vincent the manager was patient and kind with me explaining all the options and flavors, staff were friendly and positive. Overall great experience!
Amanda Menezes
Best happy hour in VB hands down. Go during their happy hour which is 7 days a week! Food is always awesome, service is always amazing, and the cocktails are great too! I think it is pretty pricey outside of happy hour, but still worth it!

September 9th, Our 2nd night eating here. The Food was fantastic again! BUT, The Bartender M_____a ruined the night. She decided to lecture my wife about a $6 hamburger we ordered in addition to our $170 of seafood and drinks. She had told my wife earlier in the night that she was not allowed to box a hamburger and take it home and that you have to eat it here. She added “the only way you can take a hamburger home is if you eat a significant amount”. After my wife ate a few bites, she was full. After all we already at dozens of oysters. The other bartender “James” happened to be at our end of the bar and she asked James if she ate enough to be able to take it home. He said sure. So James let Miranda know to give us a box. This frustrated Miranda and she came over with a plastic container and as she handed it to her she began to lecture my wife in in front of the other customers and it was very embarrassing. She said quote: "Here's the box for your hamburger, but the next time someone tells you no, you should listen".. I stopped her in her tracks to not lecture my wife over a hamburger. Between Wednesday night and Friday night, I have receipts for over $300 in food, and here she is deciding to break our balls over a $7 hamburger. We asked for a box after she at as much as she could, and we explained to James said we ate enough and gave us a box. (By the way the lid to the plastic container did not fit. They were for two different containers. When she brought the container and lid she said, "here's a container and I don't know what's wrong with the lid". I talked to the manager Vincent. I hope he has a talk with Miranda and I hope she does not try to blame hamburger-gate on James.
One last thing. The Udon Noodles we ordered on Wednesday was seasoned to perfection. The Udon noodles we ordered on Friday night tasted very different. They were not seasoned the same. Seasoning was very light and not as flavorful. I think that means someone different made from the last time. I guess that means a recipe is not being followed and folks are just making it there own way. So wont be consistent.
September 7th, 5 STARS First restaurant where everything I tried as amazing. We sat at the bar for happy hour. Every aspect of this establishment was a great time. The food, specialty drinks, valet parking, bartenders, managers, and new new ice back man. I meant to name names here but I lost my receipt and I can only remember one of the lady bartenders named (sounds like) Brie. (bree). But both bartenders were equally amazing. Number one they made us feel important and respected. Number 2 the drinks they presented were consistent and delicious. I also had a Buffalo Trace bourbon, neat, which is a hard to find alcohol. For the food we orders raw oysters, and other than raw. In other words we tried everyone they make. It was only $1 a oyster for happy hour! THEY WERE FANTASTIC. Then we ordered the whole fish which we devoured with chop sticks. (Maybe they would upgrade their chop sticks to other than throw away. Something easier on the lips instead of the rough wood feeling). The UDON noodles were so good as well, we ordered another one to go. The patrons were fun as well. Even the two young 21 year old's next to us at the bar, one celebrating her 21st birthday today. . Even when he had a few drinks and started accidently elbowing me in my kidneys, I was too busy enjoying my food to care much. Just scooted down a couple more inches to let them have their fun. Spoke to the manager about how much we were liking the food and he seemed to be very appreciative. I showed my final appreciation by leaving a generous tip.
Thanks for the great memory
Rachel Tatano
Stopped by for a quick lunch. The waitress was very nice but the service was slow.
We ordered the dumplings, snow crab, peel and eat shrimp, and blue crab hush puppies.
The dumplings were good. You can definitely taste the scallop and pork. And the sauce was excellent. The peel and eat shrimp was delicious as well. There was about 12 shrimp. Nice size with old bay. Super fresh and really enjoyed. The crab legs were alright. Very watery. And the blue crab hush puppies were very bland. It tasted like straight cornmeal. So 2 out of our 2 plates were good.
Adrienne H. Grigg
My first time and the food + drinks were absolutely amazing. Our bartender was Eliza & Collin. Eliza was wonderful and so welcoming. Andrew the bar back had an absolutely calm welcoming energy also, he added a great vibe to the atmosphere.. we honestly wished Andrew and Eliza were our main bartenders because of their kindness, warm hospitality and down to earth vibe they gave us. They were very attentive to detail. Andrew should be a bartender there!!!! He’s too good to be a barback. I work in the service industry also so I know good skills & a quality caring personality when I see one. Definitely will be back.
Jonathan Yip
Indoor and outdoor shaded seating. Happy hour included raw and various cooked oysters for $1 each (min of 3) and some drink specials. Oyster rock and garlic herb butter (on happy hour menu) highly recommended. Mexican street corn "elote" a surprise hit and very flavorful. Dishes are mostly tapas style. Would definitely go back.
Kenneth Jones
Sat at the bar, Camille and Esteban are friendly and pleasant. Other customers were friendly as well. Had some oysters (excellent) and shared an whole snapper that they offer taco fixings for. Meal was great, not crazy expensive and cooked perfectly. Definately on my list of places to go in VA Beach.
Jae Chang
An exquisite seafood selection for all. Service and quality was exceptional. A must try for all visitors. Po boy shrimp and the bay is recommended
Timothy Gomes
Went to the Atlantic for lunch and couldn’t be happier! We may have found the best raw bar by Virginia Beach! The staff was attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Not to mention the place was incredibly clean and the atmosphere was perfect. They check every box at this place. Will return if we are ever in the area again. Thank you all !!!
Mayra Collins
Delicious food great time here eith my husband & kids love happy hour from 4 to 6 oysters our favorite. Usually oysters not the boys favorite, but they loved them here. Everybody is so nice and attentive.
Derek Joe
Service was a little unresponsive (but they were also SWAMPED) due to the best thing about this place: Happy Hour Oysters, raw or Rockefeller. 1 dollar a pop, it's a great price.
The restaurant serves most of its dishes "snack" style, so all the items are smaller in portion and plate size. Definitely recommend
Natalie McCarthy
5 star experience front to back and start to finish. No photos, everything was gone too quickly! From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted promptly and with wonderful service. As we were waiting, the server in the bar area offered to start us with cocktails, which was much appreciated but we were sat quite quickly. Shoutout to Matt H, our server, who was just excellent. We ate tapas style (highly recommended the dumplings) then split the chicken sandwich. When I told Matt I wasn’t big into spice but I’d be fine with my martini while my husband had the sandwich, Matt brought ranch unprompted. It’s the little things :’). Empty dishes stayed on the table for 30 seconds max - staff were flying delivering dishes, drinks, and bussing. It was awesome. Wonderful all around, we’ll be back forever!
Carolann Kunka
We arrived around 4pm without a wait and the place was buzzing for $1 oyster happy hour. The staff was absolutely lovely and we chatted with the gentlemen who manned the oyster bar. Everything was delicious and 10/10 would recommend. The crab hush puppies were great!
Laurel Sherman
Amazing staff and food! Came for a late dinner and loved it so much we came back for lunch the next day.
Variety of oysters and daily specials. Served small plates/tapas style.
Laura St. Clair
First time after years of living here and finally able to make it. I literally want to come here for every occasion here on out. Came for HH and the amazing hostess got our party of 5 with a baby seated quickly and they had so robe while waiting taking drinks! Had the most incredible drinks, oysters, apps, and food. Literally one of the best meals. What really stood out was the impeccable service. Food came out fast and warm, constant filling of water, clearing of plates. Just totally on it. It was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish and we can’t wait to go back. Again can’t thank you enough for the service!!
Frantz C Hershey
Fantastic food and service. Truly the best at the beach. Fair warning: it is *popular* AND worth the wait
Ronnie Comia
Food was amazing! I enjoy the smaller plates so we can try a lot of different dishes. We're definitely coming back for the seafood pot pie. Thank you!
tanner hale
Here from Iowa for a week on work, excellent service and fantastic food! Great crew of people that offer some amazing dishes. When I come back for vacation this will be one of my main spots!
Nathan Brooks
The good - The clams Rockefeller are awesome we ate 48 of them their double patty burger is juicy and tasty and their french fries are on point!
The bad - The clam chowder was way too salty.
The ugly - The steak tar tar was overpowered with cream cheese and capers.
Side note the background music sounded like a b horror movie soundtrack.
Stacey Brown
The Atlantic has a nice almost retro vibe. We had an 1 1/2 wait but got seated in 30 mins or so. Our server was great. The food was pretty good as well. We had the seafood pot pie, baked Oysters and baked scallops and the crab dip. All delicious.
Liz
The food was delicious especially the Lobster Mac n Cheese. My Paloma drink was a lil watered down-couldn’t taste the tequila. Only issue that we had was there isn’t tables for big groups. We were 5 to a 4 person table so our plates & drinks did not fit as well. We went at a perf time (3:00p) because by the time we left, the place was packed!
Amber Garrett
Oh man. So glad I found this place. It's small plates so me and my mom just ordered a bit of everything. The oyster rock ,dumplings, and shrimp were our absolute favs. The elote was pretty tasty. The shrimp boil was just ok. The people at the wet bar were so friendly too. It was so good and ill definitely be back!
Beth Servas
Outstanding. Food was amazing. Don't pass up a seat at bar. It was comfortable and service was great.
James Smith
Was recommended to go by a friend. One of the best places I have ever been served and the food was wonderful. We had a party of 6 was well attended too with a variety of entrées . Cannot wait to go back.
Melissa M
Best oyster bar in Virginia Beach always an excellent variety. Casual with a fine dining quality food and beverage. Happy Hour hot spot
Courtney Dove
Happy hour is amazing!!
$1 oysters any kind
$6 double patty burger
Plus $3 drinks and so much more!
Thomas Hill
A very nice atmosphere. The happy hour burger deal is amazing. However the fish and chips was bland. I don’t think they put any salt on the fish.
Andy Mozer
Pleasingly designed seafood spot offering coastal classics as well as well as tapas and a few options for the less aquatically inclined. The Mean Bean was a great $6 cocktail at happy hour (3-6p Daily).
Andrew Frost
What a place! Crowded with clearly happy diners. Staff busy, but still friendly and committed. Food awesome! Wish I lived closer and could dream of visiting again. If you get a chance, you gotta go!!!
Angela D
Nice atmosphere, efficient staff, very busy. Veg options were goat cheese app and fried pickles, so not a lot of options for vegetarians/vegans.
Good happy hour prices.
DW Black
First like many other reviewers said, the staff are not friendly at all. We tried to engage with the watress and she was not interested. It does put at damper on the eatting exprrience. The food... the hushpuppies were amazing, the seafood stew was just ok, it lacked flavor. The raw oysters were great, but cant really mess those up. I cant recommend.
Collin Moore
I’m a local who lives at the beach, I know there’s some places in VB you go once and others you constantly return to. The Atlantic is the second and for good reason; the oysters are excellent and they have variety, the cocktails are delicious, the staff is polite and friendly and happy hour features both cocktails and food. I didn’t even mention all the tasty items on the menu, it’s not just a raw bar. The Atlantic is one of our top 2 favorite restaurants at the beach. And it’s the #1 restaurant our returning guests from out of town want to go back to.
Pictured is a happy hour dozen raw oysters.
Joyce Sherrí
Went on a Sunday night. Such a great dining experience and pleasant customer service. A varied selection of local raw oysters. For baked oysters my faves were the Roasted Oysters, Oyster Pacific & Oysters Rockefeller.
Although they were also good a lot of the other selections didn’t have enough of a balance in their fusion. For example. the lobster and chorizo empanada just tastes like chorizo. Or the Pork Shrimp and Kimchi dumpling ms just taste like pork dumplings.
It was all good just not what I expected.
I’ll definitely return. I loved the vibe here. Valet parking was a breeze.
Nomarama VA
Getting my @thegrubfather on out here at The Atlantic VB! 🙌🏾
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Things got pretty serious with the Double Patty Griddle Burger🍔... your boy loves a good stacker!! …
Ana Isabel Barillas
Went to this place for happy hour - $1 raw oysters and great drinks. Service was friendly and the food great. Would definitely recommend.
Tina Merryman
Happy hour Oyster 1.00..The best
Small skillet cornbread with jalapeños and cheese. An absolute must.
Niki was charming and my first time experience was one that will have me coming back
Ceaira Teets
Amazing food, great atmosphere. Our server was awesome!

Excellent assortment from a well appointed bar. Sea food dishes pivot around oysters with other fresh seafood options that include fresh fish. Oysters vary by season. Ours were medium with expectations set accordingly. Seafood stew, seafood toast, salmon and other dishes were right sized and tasty. The services was very good with attentive visits for any additional needs met with prompt responses. Music was contemporary and the decor a mix of brick and wood with white highlights. Crowd size will determine the noise level. Raw bar options were a variety of oysters from all over.
Joel Johnson
I had dinner with my son. The Happy Hour Menu is AWESOME!
Steve Perry
Today we went for the first time to the happy hour.
I can officially say they have the very best oysters in Virginia Beach!
Everything we tried was excellent including the service.
My only fear is the place will be too busy to get in.
If you are looking for the best oysters, this is it.
The Real Kimberly Thomas
My best friend took me here for lunch and they did a great job. I loved it and will defiantly return again the next time I'm in Virginia!! Beautiful store, friendly staff and great food.
jim holgerson
The Atlantic was awesome. Everything from start to finish was great. The greeters gave us choices on where to sit, explained the raw bar, told us about the 3-6 happy hour. Our waitress Kristin was extremely good. We had oysters, calamari, fried pickles, burrata and pesto, and prickly pear sorbet. Everything was great. We had margaritas to drink, very good.
tamra camden
Just might be the best oysters I've ever had! Great menu, well priced and the service was excellent. Drove from Portsmouth and plan on returning often 👏👏👏 …
John Coates
Showed up for Happy Hour and left Happy. 10 stars. Definitely recommend the Oysters Rockefeller 🔥
Rick Overbey
Had an awesome first time experience! The service was on point and the food was phenomenal. Can't wait gonback to try more things. You have to try!!!
Orlando G.
I had the best time here! Someone at a different restaurant recommend this place for $1 oyster happy hour aka "Buck a Shuck." The good news is everything was fantastic. So many tasty oysters and appetizers. The bad news is I had a few drinks and kept saying buck a shuck with great enthusiasm. Sorry about this
Jennifer Blackwell
Great food, great service and the best happy hour. Where else can you go for $1 premium oysters everyday? Love this place.
Gary Gresham
Outstanding, stop looking and just go!
Starting with the greeting at the door from the hostesses, the personal service and expertise provided by the front of the house manager and his wait staff to the chef and his crews fabulous dishes (oysters, lobster potpie, salmon and the clam flat bread were all fabulous!) and especially Yacouba at the oyster bar this place defines the perfect dining experience (both nights we were in VB)!
Mark Pruim
A true gem at the beach. If you're looking for a great tapas place with an amazing whiskey and bourbon selection, look no further! They have what appears to be a great raw bar. We had the calamari (it was obviously fresh) and it was great. The potstickers were tasty and the crab toast was loaded with crab meat. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. John was our bartender, he was great and super knowledgeable.
Rachael
The food here is delicious. It has a great vibe, different than most restaurants in the area. There’s a cool bar, good and fresh oysters and valet parking. Great for a date night, birthday, or girls night. Not the type of place you take kiddos.
If they have the burrata - I highly recommend it!
Carolyn (Moosie)
The best seafood I had out in a long time.. I can't wait to come back.. Waiter was awesome and the restaurant is dog friendly..
Irina Smirnoff
Definitely the best so far around here. All 5 of us absolutely loved our dishes. Grapefruit juice was freshly squeezed. Soup has nice taste and my lobster tail was buttery.
Carla Reichlin
The food is small plates and a bit pricey $6 for one slider and 14 for 7 bites of pasta. The Brussels were cooked to a crispy brown death. A glass of Chardonnay lite pour $14
J D
Really good food, great happy hour prices. We got the baked oysters and they were all amazing. The asparagus dish was really good as well. The Nashville Hot Chicken was pretty good but I wouldn't order it again. Stick to the oysters and you cant go wrong. Waitstaff were really cool and knew what they were talking about. Would recommend.
George Moore
First I want to say the food is great! Our service was phenomenal. Our server told us up front that the plates are small. The prices for food are a bit high but the quality is good. I recommend going during happy hour, 3-6 pm.
Richard Stark
Felt upscale and current, sophisticated but not formal, great food and great service. The pasteries (lemon tart) was excelent. The roasted oysters and clam chowder were very good. Was there on a Tuesday night, so not too crowded, I would suspect it gets busy on the weekend.
Laly Franka
Our waiter was amazing, the food was very fresh and tasty. I loved the variety of the dishes. The happy hour offers a variety of oysters, which i loved. I am definetely coming back.
Jeff McLeod
Really great food! Very attentive staff. Did not try the raw bar (which they are known for). They had a special for lobster 'raviolo' which was amazing! And their green curry mussels were just the right amount of spice. Wife had the lobster mac and cheese, thet were very generous with the lobster.
Casey Thomas
A great new addition to the Virginia Beach dinning seen!
Walking in to a nice simple modern bar seen. With a huge raw bar! Food comes on little plates in all shapes and sizes. They put their twist on each dish they serve.
Drink are far above average and the bartenders know what they are doing I recommend a old fashion or their speciality drink the Hemingway.
Parking does suck and it does get loud in there so be prepared. Service was lacking 2 of the 4 times I have been as well, but the management really knows what they are doing. Love the old Eurasia crew!
Vitali T.
Restaurant is mostly Composed of quality seafood plates, they got also a good oysters and clams menu
Tried their Lobster 🦞 roll and also the Mac N cheese 🧀, they were both sublime.
Good alcohol selection !
Prepare to wait during nights for dinner but on lunch week days it’s pretty quiet and service is neat and professional.
They got free parking as well
Will definitely come back as it’s 5-10 min away from the beach 🏖
Simon T Katan
Recommended if you are in town.
Very good sea food restaurant, everything that were served was very tasty. The raw bar oysters are delicious. Reasonable price and a good service by Katie.
Praveen Gopallawa
Stopped for a quick lunch. Great food and staff.
Stiry young
Love the Clean, rustic yet classic style of this restaurant, the food was superb 👍 love the cucumber cocktail... Definitely appreciate the Manager explaining/ suggesting different food's ideas... This is going to be one of our top restaurant when we're in Virginia Beach... …
Jeffery Mitchell
Remember when you used to dress up to go out? This restaurant is like that, stylish. Though I think anybody would be welcome here however they are dressed - its the beach right? For me, in the contemporary marine themed atmosphere, the raw bar is the place to be. For "Happy Hour" or any other hour of the day, the team behind the bar (and being amongst the bustle of the servers) make it feel as though you are part of the action. The food? - yeah it is all that. From the basics (burgers) to beautifully cooked seafood the kitchen is striking gold. Moreover, their specialty drinks are worth the investment. All in all, we made a point to go back twice in the three days that we were in Virginia Beach. Go early or make reservations - lots of others love this place and for good reason.
Aimee W.
Great service and good food. Check out their happy hour from 3-6. You can get a dozen raw oysters for 12 dollars
Sara Neklason
I love this place! The food is reasonably priced and really good. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I highly recommend!
Deamber Clopton
This is the Tipsy Butterfly drink from the bar and it is really tasty. I also got the smack called the Ham and Pimiento biscuit and it also was really good and flavorful. For an entree I got the Salmon with noodles which has a glaze which sets this dish apart from other salmon dishes. The atmosphere is very nice and the wrap around raw bar is it own entertainment. Our waiter Shawn was great, very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. I plan to return on my next visit to Virginia Beach!
Jeff Pelurie
The Atlantic had great reviews and was a block from the Hilton so we checked it out.
The Hostess told us 25 minutes. We did have the option to sit at the raw bar immediately so while we hemmed and hawed she managed to seat us at a table for two.
Everything about the service and the meal was top notch. The wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will return knowing how close you are to the Hilton.
Joe Moore
Wow! I never visited a raw oyster bar. But I tried it and it turns out this is a top place. I imagine that raw oysters and clams were gross, but these were delicious. My wife loved it. She got the platter for $50 with oysters, clams, shrimp, crab legs, and lobster. It was delicious. I tend to shop for budget prices, but this was well worth the price. I got the seafood pot pie and crab dip and that was amazing as well. This is an awesome bucket list experience. A nice clean place but not imposing or overly fancy. Just awesome delicious food.
Joe Hightower
Unbelievable spot for happy hour oysters. We had raw, fried, rock, Pacific and Chesapeake, plus a couple of small plates to finish off. Our personal best for number of oysters consumed. We are going back tomorrow to set another record!
Robert Birmele
Great small plate restaurant. Food was delicious. Staff friendly and helpful
Very clean.
Lindsay Kelly
We liked it so much, we went two nights in a row. The valet only parking was confusing and almost sent us to another location, but luckily we found paid parking close by.
The raw oysters were fresh and delicious and the burger was fantastic! So fun to sit at the raw bar and watch them shucking!!
Bobbe Wright
Stop in for lunch and found it to be a great experience. Food was fresh and delicious, good service and wonderful atmosphere. Will revisit.
Chris Tobin
Great raw bar and excellent menu. The seafood pot pie skillet was great.
Chuck Lloyd
My new favorite place! Their Happy Housr is everyday and has $1 Oysters!!!! Some of the attached photos are from Restaurant Week.
Johnny Harper
Great oyster selection. Wife enjoyed the tacos. The fish and chips were ok. Fries were good, but the fish (which was halibut) was undersalted. Both got cocktails that were pretty good but not amazing. Priced at like $13 apiece. I would go again because of the oyster selection, and somewhat the rest of the food. The oyster guy was also cool/friendly but not intrusive.
The SpedRunners
The absolute best restaurant in Virginia beach and the surrounding area. The scallop dish is so good I ordered it twice.
Noel Mitchell
Amazing experience here! Our 4 top had a 45min wait which was fine. The restaurant was very busy but our service did not suffer. Every dish was magnificent! And the oysters...chef's kiss*
Meredith Dhillon
Literally my favorite place right now. Happy hour can't be beat. The service is always friendly and professional. The food is top notch!
Taylor Lindenmuth
Seriously I almost asked for a straw so we wouldn’t waste any of the green curry sauce our mussels were in. The food was spectacular. The drinks were awesome. The service the top notch! The bartender, Cameron, was fantastic!
G Wright
Covid safe restaurant with all employees wearing masks (properly I might add). Fresh local seafood, including an oyster bar. Everything we ordered was scrumptious. I especially enjoyed the seafood dumplings. Reservations recommended. They are busy every day of the week it seems. Valet parking available.
Kyle McCoy
Hush puppies were great, the croquettes were damn near the perfect little bite. Raw bar was clean and organized. A beautiful space, lovely and bright. James behind the bar was fantastic, attentive for how busy the bar was. He gave plenty of great recommendations for the rest of my night. Seems like an awesome crew to work with.
Jacob Outland
James made me a slightly different take on their "New Era" cocktail using Scotch after telling him what I was craving and a few things I liked. It was smokey and delicious. My wife is the seafood eater and she loved the salmon small plate and the salmon pastrami deviled eggs. I had the oceanfront famous double burger, and it was everything I was expecting! We were lucky that it wasn't crowded so we got all the attention we wanted! We will be back!
Olga Martynov
Awesome ambiance and food. Happy hour is I dead happy. Great pairing of wine and food. Try lavander French cocktail with happy hour oysters!
Jenn Graber-Grace
the baked scallops were incredible and they have amazing cocktails and desserts!
Virginia Native
Great newer restaurant in Virginia Beach. If you enjoy seafood, this is a must! Happy hour is filled with great drink and beer specials. Oysters $1.00 each, raw, steamed, oyster Rockefeller. Tasty double cheeseburger with fries $6.00, lobster rolls. Great atmosphere, booths, bar and tables. Another section inside is dedicated to sushi, sit in front while the sushi is being prepared for you. Worth checking out when you’re in Virginia Beach. The Atlantic is on Pacific Ave. near 25th street across from Murphys Irish Pub .
Chris Rill
Great spot with good atmosphere, drinks, and food. Amazing happy hour!
MOE Saadi
Visited The Atlantic for dinner and we had a great time, great customer service / 4 stars for front , sorry :)
We had most of the oysters on the list and it was amazing
izabella
THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME, reasonable prices, great fries and shrimp. And superb waiters. Overall quality: well decorated and organized and yummy food.
Michelle Lawson
Great place to try oysters for the first time! Staff was friendly, atmosphere was great, and all the food was delicious. Go for happy hour specials!
Layla Castro
I'm not a big sea food person but I'm family is. The enjoyed the sea food and said it was amazing and well seasoned! I would bring them back again for sure to see the smiles on there face when they were eating!
Laura Gonzalez
Amazing cocktails, great beer selection, a wonderful break from the common drinking scenes at oceanfront. The lead bartender James is so willing to work with you and make sure you love your libation!
Matthew Brind'Amour
Fantastic experience. They kind of do a tapas style with shareable plates here. The Mexican street corn (elote) was solid, jalapenos a nice touch. Mussels were good, maybe one more piece of toast or two would have been nice for soaking up a little more of the nice curry broth. We had 6 orders of oysters of the 10 varieties they had on hand. Only gripe there is for the two of us it would have been really nice to be able to order two of every kind, but three is the minimum order. Lots of nice variety there and nice minionette accompaniment. The hush puppies with crab were amazing also. There was a nice atmosphere, good drinks, all around an excellent dining experience. If we're back in VA beach again this will be on our must visit list.
Soldier SKI
Upper class seafood restaurant, chill vibe about it, the dark hair 30's lady bartender makes amazing mixed drinks, if you read this you rock!
Food was served on time and right order, served on amazing plates that accent the food.
Well mannered staff, not loud, you can talk to normal levels.
Susan O'neill
Loved the atmosphere of this place. Cameron our bartender and other staff were very friendly and accommodating. Service top notch. We came for happy hour and everything was delicious
John M
First time, will be back. Oysters were fresh and delicious. Drinks were great. Could become a favorite place !
Still a great place !
Paul Laibach
Raw bar done right! Great food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Enjoy!
Kim Ruvolo
The cucumber salad was one of the most memorable dishes I've had in a long time. It was so thoughtfully done as was everything else in the restaurant. I live in Colorado and will be thinking about coming back to VB just for that dish. Well done to whoever crafted that masterpiece! Also, everything else was delicious too.
Sam Lee
Hidden VB gem. Inspired unique menu and solid execution. Delicious.
Princess Strickland
The food here was amazing. We got the crab dip, fried oysters, and the blue crab hush puppies to start, and just had lunch specials as our entree. I ordered the salmon burger and my friend ordered the blackened grouper tacos. Esteban was a super attentive server and had great energy. As a former restaurant manager let me say, he knows how to upsell! His knowledge of the menu made it easy to keep ordering. His descriptions made your mouth water lol I’ll be stopping here any time I’m in Virginia Beach!
Helena Platon
Food was excellent. We had prawn ceviche, lobster rolls, crab cakes and shellfish pie. Our waiter was Rosean and service was friendly and on point. Definitely recommend :)
Marilenny Pina
DELICIOUS!!!!! been here 6 days and i wish I would’ve found it sooner. Perfect food, packed with great flavor, nothing frozen at all!! We ordered 5 things and everything was perfect! They accommodated my sons dairy allergy’s and made him a custom meal just for him which was awesome.
Anderson Dyatlov
Food tastes great! But the waiting time is around 40 min so don't come when starving lol
Jane Kidd
Brad was our waiter and the service and food was great! If you are ever in town you have to eat here! The shrimp boil was delicious!
M F
2020-Dec06: Three stars for SUPER expensive and small portions. "Lobster Mac & Cheese" for $16; and "Crab Toast" for $15.
yossi rubin
Wasn't sure what to expect. I waa looking for dollar oyster during happy hours and stumbled onto this restaurant. Amazing oysters. They have one type for a dollar. But the oysters with mushrooms were amazing ( play on oyster Rockefeller). Their salad, I believe roasted beets or something like that was great. They gave a nice fried ball of goat cheese and their dressing was superb. Great beer and wine list. All in all 5/5. Definitely would go back.
Justin Day
The food and service were great. Definitely overpriced tapas for what you get especially in the off season when there aren't tourists.
DJ Mark S
Very nice raw bar and seafood specials.
Jess Bakas Wallace
Delicious, fresh seafood that my daughter loved, too. She is obsessed with their oysters rockefeller. I had some raw Hatteras Salts with their house-made hot sauce and they were Fantastic. Salmon crudo was perfectly salted with citrus, fresh dill, onion and served at just the right under-chilled temperature. Great and varied selection of wines by the glass, too.
Tomo Hammon
I went for lunch and the raw oysters were amazing! the flavor lasted in my mouth for a while and I have a coma! Service was quick too.
Pamela Daniel
Excellent Tappas bar! Sangria was delicious. Everything was! The baked oysters I wish I ordered more of, the deviled eggs were a treat and the trout pattee was divine!!! Lobster mac and cheese was good, crab toast excellent and dont be afraid of the green curry mussels they were small but you got alot and they were good. The only disappointment was 5 small friend shrimp for 13 bucks. Go with a group order at least 2 a piece and share. It is pricey but a great place for a group.
d turpin
The place to eat oysters in Virginia Beach!
My wife and I were in the mood for some oysters when we discovered this place. We arrived around 5pm and much to our surprise they have a HAPPY HOUR from 3-6 with $1 oysters and $2 pints. Needless to say we ordered 3 dozen raw oysters with some crab hush puppies, elote salad and cucumber salad. It was the best dining experience I've had in VB and definitely plan on going there regularly!!
Amber Roberts
The food was delicious and our server was fantastic. We loved our visit and will definitely be back soon!
Kiara Freeman
Just a beautiful positive vibe and atmosphere. The ability to have casual conversations with staff during the experience makes it enjoyable. Found a jewel.
Brittney Delapp
Food and service was amazing! Brad was our server and gave his honest opinion to all of our questions and recommended the best of the best. It’s a one of a kind place, would definitely recommend and come back :)
Wendy Dean
What an awesome happy hour experience!! Vincent, the owner, was so personable and friendly…I felt like I’ve been knowing him since high school! Colin, the bartender, and Shannon, one of the servers, were on point as well and friendly as well. I had the fried shrimp and they were quite tasty. I would definitely come back again.
Craig Douglas
Food and drinks were fantastic and the bartender was amazingly friendly as it literally was the first place I've ever been to in Virginia and he made it very welcoming. I will definitely return for the food, drinks and service.
Lourdes Rosado
Great food. Awesome oysters, mussels in green curry cooked just right
Bernie Cahill
Had several raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller for the appetizers. mahi mahi fish taco for lunch and broiled flounder EVEYYHING was Delicious.

Everything was delicious!!
I will definitely be returning
Nicole Heller
Food was delicious! And service was exceptional! We had the gazpacho, old bay chips, crab legs, Nashville hot chicken, and the spinach goat cheese ravioli. Yum! I requested a random dessert martini and was not disappointed. We will definitely be back!
Pritam Borate
Food here is awesome. Lots of food and drink options available. Ambiance is vibrant. Definitely visiting again.

My family and I ate here to celebrate my niece's birthday; Sunday August 21st This is one of her favorite restaurants. We were a big party of 11. The atmosphere was pleasant, Most of the staff were friendly. Except our waitress. I can tell from her body language and disposition that she seemed to be a little, frustrated, flustered and maybe even overwhelmed. The majority of us never been to the restaurant, so we had typical questions anyone may have visiting a restaurant for the first time. The behavior observed while watching our waitress was her constant eye rolling, when we asked a question or if we needed to modify or and clarify our orders. However, she seemed to be bothered the entirety of our visit. My sister never got her oysters she ordered, which we mentioned, she did offer to re-order. However. my sister said it was ok and it was. She was ok with that. It was actually not a problem for my sister. She wasn't feeling well, so it worked out. However, when inquiring about it initially again our waitress seemed to be bothered by "her mistake". In addition to that she assumed that a conversation taking place between my other sister and Mother was to her and responded very rudely by saying " I only have two hands". They were confused because they were not even talking about her, the food or anything that pertained to the moment. The checks were all mixed up and when we try to clarify who's order was who's she again ...spoke rashly and short. She then replied .." We don't usually split checks with large parties". However if she had asked in the beginning. We could have simplified it for her with only 4 checks . Plus it didn't make sense...if you didn't split checks (which again is common and even understandable) we would have simply worked it out amongst ourselves but we didn't get the opportunity. and again...if you didn't split checks...what sense did it make for her to give my 3 year old son his own check??? At the end she clearly frustrated...slammed the stack of check(folders) down in one pile and told us to have a good day and walked away. I have compassion for people and I also know that most times folks attitudes are not personal. Maybe she was having a bad day, a bad moment. Maybe I should have offered to talk with her. But regardless of what you are going through. We didn't deserve her attitude and behavior. It really put a damper on my first experience at this restaurant.

Enjoyed it, nice place! Tasty Appatizers, and Yummy Bites! Fun Atmosphere.
I was on a date with a Beautiful girl named "Nell" she stole my eyes and my heart after a walk on the beach. She seemed a lil out there but she wasn't anybodys fool. It was just 1 date but if she wasn't so lovely it would be easier to forget her golden locks and quirky cute smile by now. Hope you're doing well beautiful stranger!
Yew Kar
Delicious food!!!! We had the miso soup, egg rolls, shrimp pasta and something else
jemmairose eddy
Good food, average atmosphere.
Stephanie Clawson
Delicious food, great service. This was my first time trying oysters and our server was super helpful and patient, she even came back a few times to see what I thought of each kind!
Jazz T
This place is worth it! Amazing customer service, and the food was delicious!
john smith
Good food, great service, and great cocktails. Fish & Chips is superly fresh and we can taste the fresh from the fish. Single patty burger for kid is also good. The crab was OK as they mix dill with crab cakes and I wasn’t a huge fan of dill. The coctails are good for my wife and I. Strongly recommended but wouldn’t recommend crab cake.
Harmony L. G.
Fantastic meal, Fantastic cocktails. Fantastic service! The bartenders were great. Very personable!
RJ Fern
Don’t let the 1 star reviews fool you! Typical Karens 😂
Let me tell you, this restaurant has the best Happy Hour(3pm-6pm Mon-Sun) menu hands down on the East coast. Oysters, cocktails, craft beers, wine, wells and a $6 home made double cheese burger that’ll make you think twice about the love for your wife or the burger…
Joseph Carter
One of my best restaurant visits! Happy hour oysters and specials are fantastic. All around a great experience. Got the 12 yo a happy hour double patty burger for $6. all of the oyster varieties were delicious, great flavor, even the fried (I did not try raw). atmosphere, presentation and menu give you a sense of more of an upscale place than traditional seafood restaurants in the area, but still laid back, calm and quiet. has a raw bar. beautiful decor. High quality spirits and drinks. highly recommend.
Tracy Lynn
The service was fast and efficient! The food was excellent! We enjoyed our food selections. Lobster Mac and cheese, bay sea scallops, and the garlic rolls. It was just the right amount of food. We will definitely come back again!
Christine and Todd Zucker
Great food and find! Service was excellent. Only got a table because I called and was told they accepted walk-ins. Open table said they were sold out. Encourage digital messaging to let people know they don’t take reservations for less then 5 people. Again. Well worth it and I would recommend for a great Tapas Seafood restaurant.
Maryam Sherbaf
The restaurant was packed, we were lucky to find seats at the bar. The restaurant has a very inviting atmosphere & its lively. The food is excellent and service is superb.
Joon LeGrand (Calüücho)
The waitress was attentive and cordial checking in multiple times, the food was so good that we ordered multiple times a couple of their dishes. The waiting time was short and the food was served fast.
David Jones
We dropped in for dinner on Monday and tried 4 apps and the Seafood Boil. We really enjoyed ourselves. The Hushpuppies and Pork Dumplings were the BEST! The Seafood Boil was OK, it needed more seasoning....the sausage was very dry due to cooking method
Leilani Lee
We ate here for our daughter's graduation dinner. I felt terrible because I didn't make a reservation because I assumed it would be slow on a Tuesday evening. My daughter was so excited to go, I thought we wouldn't be seated. Thank goodness Vincent found a slot of time for us and we were seated in minutes. Emily, our server, was fantastic. She had great suggestions and nobody's glass went empty. The food of course, was amazing, exactly what you would expect. What a great team. We highly recommend The Atlantic, also, reservations are the way to go anyday.
David Viscomi
My wife and I ate here both days we were in VA Beach for lunch. Ordered 7 different plates/dishes to share and each one was fantastic. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend the place enough. Thank you for a great experience.
Joanna Zdziaszek
Delicious food. Very busy, but the servers worked like clockwork to take orders and bring the food. However, such a busy place should take reservations. Wait time was 1 1/2 hours!
Giana S
I am seafood lover. Cioppino is so gooood!!! Very kind and good servers. Dumpling tastes interesting. Good selection of beer.
Adel Bishai
We were there before Happy Hour started. The ambience is extremely warm and eclectic. The food was delicious . Their Drink Menü is quite elaborate. Not sure if your waitress was just in a rush or what. Couldn’t really feel like being encouraged to ask more questions, being our first time . The oysters were great . The seafood pasta had NO HINT of seafood Might need to give it another try another day
James Richards
Delicious food. Great service. Fair prices. Can't recommend them enough!
Guillermo Castillo
What an awesome place. The food was absolutely over the top. Sea food tapas style gave us a chance to try so many dishes and all were spectacular. The place was packed but got to have a cocktail before we were seated. Our server was Haley and she was so nice and pleasant. Helped pick out the perfect wine. I think the managers name was Victor and the guys did not stop. It looked like he was on top of everything and through the madness saw him go to so many tables including ours to see how everything was. The place from top to bottom was ran like a well oiled machine. Highly recommend to all sea food lovers!!
kimberly roberts
Best take out we have had during our stay... Everything we ordered was amazing
Tyler Copan
Really great service and atmosphere. Their old fashioned is delicious and you have to try the Oysters Rock, it is incredible!
Kiela Kelly Fenn-Hatcher
This place is a happy place and freakin delicious. $1 oysters from 3-6 m-s
Wes Wolfram
Have been here over 5 times over the last year and each time was consistently amazing. Happy hour runs 3-6pm daily, and it's worth hustling there for! Love the menu, staff are always friendly and the food is all excellent.
Parking tip: the structure across the street is free if you park in the bottom, entering directly across the street from The Atlantic. Otherwise, valet is free (they work on tips).
Sean Green
Thoroughly enjoyed dining here. Food was great, as was the service!
Mon Oubliette
This was one of our favorite meals of the past few months. The crab hushpuppies were on-point, but, frankly, all the food was delicious. The service put this place over-the-top though. And, this would have been a five star review anyway, and then this happened…
A group of drunk, rude, and rowdy people came in and sat next to us. Six people to a four person table. Imagine grown men and women sitting on each other’s laps, howling in laughter, and making fun of other patrons. It was really something to see. They were so rude and conspicuously drunk that my wife was having a hard time keeping her monster in its cage. She didn’t say anything, to her credit, but it was written all over her face. Well, then the drunk Karen sitting far too close to her started to make comments about my wife’s displeasure. Haha. Here we go…
Then, out of nowhere, a server appears, leans over to us at our table and quietly offers to move us to a private table, all to ourselves. No need to pick up anything, he said, he would do all the work, if we just said, “yes.” No surprise, my wife enthusiastically agreed. Moments later, we were moved with great speed. And peace, once again, settled upon the land. Dinner was saved.
Well done, The Atlantic. You can’t always keep the jerks out, but you can protect your other clients from them. Thank you. We’ll be back.
Samuel Hall
Highly recommend the new fashioned for the bourbun lover , everything on the menu that we tried was fantastic. Shrimp ceviche a definite must. Great staff with good knowledge of their menus
JD Dauer
Amazing service! Multiple people took great care of us, even during the very busy happy hour, to make sure we were always with drinks and food.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great suggestions on the menus, both from the bar and the kitchen.
This was our first trip to VA Beach from Pittsburgh and we will definitely recommend this place to friends!
Larry Sawicki
One of my favorites from my recent trip to Virgina Beach. I stopped in twice during my trip. The roasted oysters and Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches were amazing. Great cocktails and friendly service. I would be a regular if I lived in the area. Will definitely return.
Brittany Brookins
Our entire party had a great time here. The happy hour specials were great. The burger on happy hour was $6 — a great deal.
Grace Tucker
Loved this place and can't wait to go back! We did a mix of oysters and small plates and everything was delicious! The brussels sprouts with yogurt were incredible, as were the deviled eggs. The crab dip was also good but not sure I'd order it again. Will definitely stop back to try out more of the menu on my next trip!
Lauren Carlson
Carly was absolutely amazing! The crab legs were great - Carly had fabulous wine recommendations and her banter was so much fun for our experience! I was visiting from out of town and I can’t wait to come back and specially ask for Carly - AoP is amazing, but Carly is better!
Jennifer Del-Castillo
I have lived in Virginoa Beach my entire life and I have probably eaten in 98% of the restaurants here in my 40+ years. This by far is my absolutely favorite! I have been here at least a dozen times and I travel 20 miles to go here because I love it so much! The service is absolutely amazing and everything I have ever ordered here is perfection! From the hand crafted drinks, the amazing selection of oysters, I even copied the oyster wallpaper for my kitchen because I love it so much (I know it sounds silly)! I recommend this restaurant over any in VB and if you don't stop by for a visit you are missing out!
Linda Stanfield
My new go to place for Oysters! Absolutely loved it. Excellent variety of raw oysters to choose from. Baked oysters are outstanding and they're prepared several different ways. They also have a full menu with enough variety to satisfy all. Nice atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Love, love love it!
Kaitlin Massey
Great food and a good experience overall. Everything was tasty, go and try out the tapas small but shareable portions. Everything was quality and I would go back!
Ladycakes
One of the best meals I've ever had. The Brussels were incredible and my steak was cooked perfectly. The group I was with had oysters and they were blown away. Our waitress was amazing and our group all agreed that their dinner was flawless. Even the cappuccino was exceptional. If I lived down here, i would come to this restaurant all the time.
Britt & Cory Jones
This place is nice. The food is good, the service is OK. I gave it four stars for that and because they preemptively add a 20% tip into your total before you even get your bill. They don't tell you, where you'd usually put the tip, it says "additional tip". We always tip 20% or more because we used to be servers ourselves but I feel like adding it in beforehand and not saying anything is a bit presumptuous.
Lorraine Burnett
Stopped by for a quick lunch. Food was excellent. Outstanding service. Will definitely return.
Jimmy Wegg
I cannot even explain how good this place was top to bottom. Service and food were phenomenal, but the teamwork between the staff was also a nice surprise. Multiple different team members stopped by to refill our water, clear a plate etc. Spoke to the manager at the end to give a stellar review and got an additional recommendation for a place near our hotel in Norfolk. Stop in and I guarantee you will not regret it.
Melanie Jean-Louis
Our food was fantastic. The roasted and Chesapeake oysters were delicious. As well as the crab dip. Busy place but worth the wait as the venue is beautiful and modern and the drinks were amazing. I got the Apple-y drink and it's well executed. The fish of the day was the Black Sea Bass and that was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I had the salmon, which was good as well. I enjoyed the side vegetable puree, and liked the take on that. Would definitely recommend.
Connie O'Reilly
Colin was our bartender tonight and he and his crew were amazing. We had an exceptional experience from beginning to end. If you visit, you must try the baked scallops. The brownie topped with homemade vanilla ice cream was a sweet way to end our meal. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for top notch seafood place and a delightful dining experience. Thank you guys so much and keep up the great work! Also, please be advised that if you order the seafood sausage pasta, the seafood is in the sausage, Karen. Don't get mad at the bartender because you don't see lumps of seafood in your pasta. It's in the sausage.
Phyllis Garcia
This place taught me to LOVE oysters!!!!! My daughter took me for my 66th birthday. I asked to go back for Mother’s Day. I look for any reason to return ❤️❤️❤️
erin shiner
Excellent service, delicious food, trendy decor. I find it to be more upscale than some of the other high end restaurants at the oceanfront. This seemed more genuine and effortless. Tasty, fresh cocktails. It was a fun night. The wait staff was lovely and each person we encountered went out of their way for us.
Erin Lucier
The experience is always 100,000% outstanding! From the available valet, hosts greeting at the door, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable wait staff to the wonderful drinks, delicious food, beautiful dishes, and glasswear- this restaurant is a can't miss, try something new, experience we enjoy every visit! Appetizers, meals, sides, desserts, and drinks-- there is never a wrong choice, and it will leave you wanting to return to experience more menu items!!
Connor Headden
Good, different food. Oysters and retro seafood. Attentive higher quality service. Esteban is a great server
Andrew L
I could put a paragraph saying how tasty and delicious seafood is but 5 out of 5 stars tells the story. Good job guys! Wishing you come to DC area! I'd be first customer fir sure!
M. P.
The food was okay. I just didnt see the value in everyday salad fixings for $10 in a side salad portion. The cornbread was good. Others at my tablle said they liked there food, but no one really mentioned their food otherwise. One had an issue with thier food quality, which the owner handled promptly.
Sandy Baranski
Amazing place!! If you like craft cocktails and oysters, GO!
Lydia P.
The best spot on (near) the oceanfront! Food and service is always top notch. Even though we've moved away, I still make a special point to go for oyster happy hour whenever I'm back in town.
Juanita Hand
The place to be, if you love seafood. We had a party of 8, the service was fast, and the manager made us feel like family. The scallop are the best, shrimp boil was good, and the drinks were tasty. We will definitely be returning, on our next visit to VA Beach.
Belinda Price
Every....single...time! This place delivers! This is a must for locals and tourists alike!
Denise Frey
This was my 4th visit, each time with a different friend. It's always an enjoyable evening with excellent wait staff.
Molly Long
Food was delicious! The crab hush puppies were to die for as well as the lobster roll. They also had a special pea soup with crab that was outstanding. The service was great and personable. This was by far the best meal we have had on vacation for our family. If you enjoy tapas this is a great choice, even with small kids. Totally recommend!!
john martin
Wow, great dining experience. Spectacular food, perfect service and a great night out. Only drawback is the small plates are dangerous. So many choices, next thing you know you are full and your bill has grown. But worth it.
Autumn
Great service and absolutely delicious food! The lobster roll, scallops, and heirloom salad were great! The crab cake was fresh and fab as well.
Kristina Zimmerman
Drinks are amazing. Food is amazing. Oysters are fresh. Staff is friendly. Love it here!
Shakee Brooks
Amazing Waiter.. Food was great. I would come back for sure!
Connie Montague
The Seafood Sausage Pasta had not one bit of seafood in it. It tasted good but don't expect any seafood. The food was average and the service was slow. Our waiter only asked if we wanted any more drinks once and I was about ready to get up and get the water pitcher myself.
Kelli Spayd
The crab cake was good, but small. For the price, I would have liked a larger cake and less broccoli salad. Server was nice
Jongsak Meesri
This place is good atmosphere but not sure about food
Katie Burgis
Great Happy Hour!
Cindy Moore
After being told the night before that there would be an hour wait I was determined not to go back but we did. And I can say it was a great dining experience because of our waiter RoSean. Food and drinks were fabulous. Happy Hour is the time to go. Lots of locals so you know it's great. Don't be put off my a snooty host, give them a chance. Glad we did. Buy local.
Rutger Wheaton
We were hoping we'd get a table, had to get on the list but while they estimated 45-60 minutes we were seated at the raw bar within about 20. I was suspicious about the service we'd get but our server was EXCELLENT. Totally attentive and fast! Had the Virginia crab hush puppies, the Brussels sprouts, and the special sweet soy sesame wings, the hush puppies had a textbook texture but I didn't get the crab flavoring. The wings were dynamite and the Brussels sprouts stole the show! We're planning to go back on our next trip to Virginia Beach, wish we'd gone earlier and when we were hungrier as everything looked delicious!
tiffanie Sheehy
After being gone from VA Beach for a few years, I was excited to see this place started by a Eurasia chef and for their oyster bar. Menu options look great! Prices are better than expected. Food ordered was great! As was the drink. Good spirits selection!
Drawback: we did leave feeling like we burdened our server with our presence. As a previous manager of a Burtons Grill and my boyfriend a manager of the largest whisk(e)y bar in the South East, we know better than to run a server. We didn't ask many questions. When we did make a request, our request wasn't heard but she did hear what she wanted. Our oysters were taken before we had finished. Big bummer when they are $3.75 each.
We are excited to come back and try more of the menu! 🤞🤞 we'll get sat in someone else's section.
Greg Sullivan
This place is Fabulous! Best wait staff and management! We went by earlier in the day just to check it out, found out they had happy hour with oysters rock and others for a $1, 3-6 pm, never before have I cared about happy hour drinks. The oysters were beyond what we expected, So scrumptious! We ordered more oysters Rockefeller and still ordered dinner but stuffed. Dinner Lobster MAC and Cheese and Baked Scallops, Simply AWESOME!
Greg
Great oyster bar! Great beers! Fun Place! Yacouba and Chris make the difference. Great job guys!!
Josh Diesel
Great bar service, great food, lots of non-raw options as well. Definitely worth visiting for high end seafood and good drinks.
Emily Graves
Very good drinks at happy hour followed by tasty quality shrimp boil and yummy deserts-death by chocolate and orange crème brûlée. Friendly, pro staff. Good din at the beach!
jos no
Excellent food and Service. Our eaiter Escobar was great!
Dennis Shuster
Oh my gosh. What a hidden gem. Wait staff was on point, food was fantastic, great atmosphere. And drinks weren't bad either!! Siskel and Ebbert give its 3 thumbs up.!! Keep up the good work !!
Charlotte Luckey
The Atlantic has always been my favorite restaurant in Virginia Beach, but tonight’s experience was exceptionally good. After a member of our dining party expressed that she had some significant dietary restrictions, the General Manager took the time to go through the entire menu with her to find foods she could eat. He even offered to cook something off the menu for her if she couldn’t find something she liked. The entire staff was wonderful and accommodating as always—truly cannot say enough good things about this place. Thank you, Atlantic, for making our evening so special! We can’t wait to go back!
Julia Green
A true gem in VA beach, Atlantic on Pacific offers something for everyone. Their tapas style menu is simple yet covers all tastes and dietary needs. The atmosphere is relaxed yet classy, making this a great choice for small group or couples dining. The wine and bourbon lists are impressive and the oysters were delicious, I loved finding out from our server, Harley, that the oyster selection changes daily and they have happy hour every weekday with $1 oysters and drink specials. Harley was the highlight of our experience. She was knowledgeable, engaging and funny with just the right amount of attentiveness. She made sure our first experience at Atlantic on Pacific will definitely not be the last.
Waylen Crump
Delicious food and great service. You won't be sorry you came here. Had the baked scallops, oyster Rockefeller, pimento cheese board, lobster Mac.... Unbelievable.
Abel Martin
Great burger & fried shrimp. Their wine list is extensive & cocktails were delicious. Our server Harlie was awesome. Definitely a great spot for dinner & drinks!
Johnnie Katsimanis
Great place! Bar tender was very pleasant. The only reason that I gave 4 stars is because the pictured food was good but thought that 45.00 was a little steep compared to other restaurants in the area. I also thought the drinks were a little pricey for that place. Hi class prices for an average restaurant.
Dane Santos
A friend of ours told us that if we were ever visiting Virginia Beach that the Atlantic restaurant was a must do. Well we did and I want to thank Brad for the great service and the raw oysters fantastic. The Atlantic is definitely a must do. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
John Burroway
Amazing assortment of raw oysters. Crab toast, salmon deviled eggs, all delicious. Really enjoyed the house hot sauce and mignonette sauces for the oysters. Shannon was great. Very attentive and entertaining. Took care of our questions and guided us through our selections.
Laziz Tursunov
Best happy hour & food on the beach!
Jasper Fortuin
Went here when it was cold outside and many of the places where shut down. Positively surprised by the fancy interior and modern menu, we ordered a bunch of starters and some drinks. Most of the dishes were good, sometimes even excellent. Great staff
John Myatt
Great crab cake... but it was just one crab cake. Crowded a bit. They don't take reservations for just a couple. Told it would 45 wait on the phone but took our chances and went anyway... got lucky. Seated in like 5 minutes but it was a tiny table... atmosphere not good.
Nicholas S
Great food and drinks. Fantastic oyster selection. Service is always friendly. And best of all, happy hour is every day!
Lynne Dyer
Happy hour! Delicious oysters and drinks.
Eric W.
Some of the most interesting and good food we had in Virginia Beach, with neat cocktails too. A very limited selection of bottled and canned beer--the lack draft beer seems puzzling, considering the lengths they go to with other aspects, but that does require additional investment and staff training. Really friendly and engaging staff. Nice happy hour too.
Felicia Butcher
All I have to say is happy hour oysters. They were so good.
Selene Smith
My Husband and I went on a getaway to Virginia Beach for the weekend. We had an amazing time. The Atlantic was one of the Restaurant's we went to. Although they were packed and had a waiting list, we waited all of 5 minutes before being seated. The Waiter was very nice and attentive and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed The Atlantic. Oh yeah we will be back.
Howard Thomas
Great service... amazing food. We had the Carolina fried shrimp, baked oysters, New York strip steak and shrimp & grits... all were cooked perfectly and the flavor was phenomenal. Obviously, they put love into their food. I rarely write reviews, but this place was really exceptional. Atmosphere was great and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend Atlantic and this will be our new go to spot while visiting VA Beach!
K G
*EDIT* I expressed my concerns from a recent visit & the owner, David, was extremely responsive in replying to my review. He took care and time to address my concern & it certainly changed my outlook from our dining experience. I can tell he takes pride in his business. I truly appreciate it & will give this restaurant another try!
Dianne Seither
This was a nice place. We sat outside.Tapas is their deal, so the portions were small and served on small plates, but the food tasted delicious. I got the hush puppies and sweet potato biscuits. Every bite just melted in my mouth and so flavorful. If you want to feel full or stuffed when you leave, this may not be the place for you. Myself and my taste buds were quite satisfied 😄
Darren Kerns
I have been to Atlantic 5 - 6 times this summer. The service and food have been excellent each tine. I am taking the time to write this review because if you are visiting VB put this place on your list. I live here so I can go all the time. Great menu. Great bar. Great service. Special shout out to our server Heather!
Andy Horak
Great food. Biggest selection of raw oysters I've seen. Bar tender recommend the dumplings (shrimp, scallop, and pork) they were absolutely amazing!
Ashley Kosky
A really great restaurant at Virginia Beach. The Lobster Mac and Cheese is so cheesy and creamy and has a surprising amount of lobster pieces in it ( not just 3-4 little clumps) We almost went back a second night to get it again, but decided to give another place in the area a try instead ( Dough Boys Pizza) before heading home. Next time we visit Virginia Beach, though, we'll definitely be returning. Fingers crossed that the Lobster Mac is still on the menu. It is one dish you definitely will not be disappointed with.
Jay Jay
Ate here twice at the bar. Great service advice and more importantly food. Would definitely recommend. Jon is great and really made the visit more worthwhile.
Brenda Wakiyan Sapa
Everything was good except the hostess. Not welcoming and took a long time to even seat us.
Larry Pumpelly
We are visiting from Richmond. The Atlantic was a wonderful place to eat. The oysters were very good and clean. I had two different kinds. We had Crab and a whole red snapper. Delicious. Most of all the service was the best we have had in a long time anywhere. If you go ask for Salina. She was so attentive and had such a great service heart. And oh what a pleasant attitude. She knew her oysters. I am sure we will come again.
Hannah Baker
This was a great experience! Awesome happy hour! The specialty drinks were perfect! Great service. We got some raw oysters for happy hour and one was really small and without saying anything we got another large oyster sent out for replacement! Shannon the bartender was very attentive and sweet!
Joni Hitomi
Shannon was our server and gave us excellent recommendations for drinks and types of oysters. Everything she suggested ended up
being our favorites. Would recommend
Jonathan Lux
Thought the prices were a little on the high side, but otherwise it was awesome. Food was delicious, drink list was solid, service was fast and fun.
Katia Bastos
Absolutely loved their Rockefeller baked oysters! I'm sad were going to have to wait a while before we visit Virginia Beach again. The resturant is small but very nice and modern on the inside! Def. one our favorite places to eat!
Maisa Bitti
One of the best seafood I had in my travels. Is worth tge trip down just for the great meal. We eat like queens and kings
Ruben Caballero
Good food; however, they took a very long time to bring the dishes.
Audra Bingaman
We learned about this restaurant last year and ended up eating every night there because it was so good. We have made special trips just so we can eat at this fantastic restaurant. Highly recommend. We have been to Charleston SC and still have yet to eat better oysters than Atlantic on Pacific.
Anna Hobbs
Love, love the atmosphere and the customer service was super. They were very friendly and gave great suggestions on what to try being a first time customer. The food was amazing, loved the crab dip and the fried pickles
matthew karpinski
Great fresh seafood. Oysters were the best in town.
Donna Berry
We loved Happy Hour specials. Especially being able to order oysters prepared different ways, especially Oysters Rockefeller. And the cheeseburger! We got a lot of food. Very reasonable. All good. Lovely restaurant. We like to support a new local restaurant like this. Manager was very nice. (Bring a wrap or jacket.)
Adelane Abcede
The staff is so friendly, the food is scrumptious and the cocktails are just so yummy they should come in little pitchers 😅. I love coming during happy hours too. My go to for fresh, raw and cooked oysters 😊 …
Imani Burgess
Best food I’ve had at Virginia Beach ! Seriously! The $1 dollar oysters were delicious as well. 5/5 best food I’ve had here. If I ever visit here again this is the first place I’m coming to. We had the pasta, chicken, oysters and shrimp. Delicious!!
Erica Jenkins
LOOKING FOR AN AMAZING HAPPY HOUR?? Look no more they are Mind-blowing!! I'm from Florida and love Seafood and I actually own a seafood restaurant here in Portsmouth Va. Unfortunately we do not sell oysters these are the best oysters I've ever had in my entire life!! The happy hour is simply amazing from the drinks to the variety of oysters!! Try them ALL my girlfriend and I will be going to make it a every Sunday meeting you guys are awesome!!
Lindsay Barnard
My favorite happy hour! Service is great, food and drinks are delicious. $1 oysters are amazing and I love their beet salad all. I’ve tried a few other items on the menu and never have been disappointed.
Carolyn Ingram
Delicious! Our waitress was attentive and very sweet. My fiance ordered steamed clams, crab legs, and shrimp. I had the lobster macaroni and cheese. We also ordered the blue crab hush puppies and the crab, scallop, and pork dumplings. Everything was perfect. So yummy. We walked a mile afterwards to melt some calories! Definitely will be back when we come to the beach. 😊
Shawna Fitzgerald
First time here for a girl's night out. It was perfect! The menu had a huge variety of share ables, really tasty and beautiful presentation. Love their cappuccino. Rashaun our server was so nice and pleasant. The Chef Beau was fantastic! A great place to catch up with friends, I highly recommend 👌 Parking was super easy too which was nice being on the beach.
Paul Orlik
I feel like happy hour does this restaurant a lot of justice and makes it a way better experience than I had at about 9pm. We had an amazing personable waitress with spunky red hair and she was fantastic! The oysters were great, my boyfriends cocktail “the amethyst” was fantastic! our meals were really lackluster however... I had the miso salmon which is essentially a piece of salmon as large as your finger surrounded by a really wet sauce that has little to no flavor and some frozen veggies. My boyfriend had the lobster & crab pasta which was a small mixture of the meat rolled into essentially a ravioli that you get 4 of in your plate. If I’d return I would only do happy hour and no entrees from their menu.

Raw oysters for a $1 during happy hour. Took advantage of it and was not disappointed. Didn't need to get the other choices on the menu. Their local oysters are good enough to satisfy us. Their food choices are very delicious as well. It just costs too much and they were small portions.

This place was amazing. They have all the reviews to prove it and don't need mine. I recommend sitting at the bar to see the action up close.ccrab cakes and oysters were great. At 3 pm they have a drink and oyster happy hour that you can't beat. Don't waste your time at the subpar restaurants on the beach..go here instead!

Great service
Delicious food

Ordered online and walked from our rental. Online it said it would be about 24 minutes and we got there in about 10. We let the hostess know we had an online order and she went to find out the status. While we waited 3 people checked on us to make sure we were helped. Got our food after about 10 minutes. Service was awesome. The atmosphere is amazing, we are considering going track tomorrow. Got the food home and it was some of the best. Ordered multiple entrees for 2 people, portions aren't huge, but they are filling and the cost is right for eclectic foods.

VA beach was getting rained out so we looked up place near by for a good happy hour. This place popped up and we are so glad it did. Got a few drinks to start off. Mine was gin based and was delicious and strong. They have 1$ oysters prepared any way. We got a bunch of oysters and they were delish as well. For my late lunch I decided to go with the lobster roll. The roll was tiny but it was packed to the brim with lobster meat! Def. Was worth the price. The meat was so tender and sweet. It came with fries as well which was crispy and seasoned well. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating as well. We had a great dining experience and can't wait to come back one day!

The food was phenomenal! There was a bit of a wait, but we went during dinner rush so that was expected. Service was fast and friendly. We got lobster mac, the Chesapeake oysters, can't remember the name of the other kind of oysters we got, the hush puppies with a thin ring of jalapeno on top, and the scallops, shrimp, and I think it was pork dumplings. Highly recommend all of them. Our kids don't even like hush puppies, but loved those.
The prices are now a tad higher than the menus posted, at least on the steak, wish I had taken pix of the menu. I also wish they had a smaller steak option, but I guess we could have split it. The portions may seem small, to an American, but we found it to be a lot more filling than it looked like it would be. We left full, but not uncomfortably so, which is a good thing. We tried to make it for happy hour, but kids are slow so we just missed it.
The restaurant is on the smaller side, and was quite crowded. But well worth the wait. Seating was clean and comfortable. Aesthetically pleasing decor.
Seriously, stop reading reviews and just go! If you like seafood, I don't know how you would find this place disappointing. We will definitely be going back when we're in the area.

Man I love bringing people here!! The service is soo good. The oysters Rock is perfect!!! All the drinks are delish and the menu is so well thought out. Going for lunch is ideal. Parking is not bad at all. Thanks to the girl with the awesome red hair and the guy who always wears cool shirts. See y’all soon.

I had an amazing time. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was clean and inviting. Loved the decor. I really like that they have water glasses at the table. The staff was friendly and funny. The food was phenomenal. We got a few of the smaller snack options and split a meal so we could try a little bit of everything and it was so worth it.

Yum Yum Yum!!!!! The Rockefeller Oysters are incredibly delicious.
The raw oysters are sumptuous. I totally had no idea that there was such a large variety of oysters.
Staff are great, ambiance- perfect. Drinks on point.
Justin S
Nice atmosphere and great staff. Came here for happy hour and ordered the raw oysters. They were super disgusting. Very briny and tons of hard pieces, shells, dirt/gunk. They definitely weren't purged. Worst raw oysters I've ever had. It was probably a bad batch but still. My daughter who can normally eat a dozen herself ate 2 and wouldn't touch them again. Wont be returning.
Rita Arnaout
We had a party of 9 and were sat outside in tent. Very friendly waitstaff. Food was good just wish they had more options and variety of sides. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Happy hour had some great specials!
Bryan Klaput
My Wife and I went to dinner last night arrived late into the Happy Hour and the restaurant was already packed. I recently had surgery on my ankle and use a scooter to get around. The wait would have been over an hour. Vincent, who is the manager, noticed us at the front door and put us at the bar despite the wait time. My wife and I love this Restaurant and visit it whenever we are in town. We live in Baltimore and come down to the beach for vacation. Thank you Vincent and your Bartenders for a wonderful time last night. The food was great and the Oysters are terrific.
Dana M
Excellent food, beautifully presented. The blue crab hushpuppies and crab dip skillet are of particular note. Service was impeccable! Highly recommended for tapas and raw bar fare.
Darshani G
Great oysters! Thapas style. Wish they had more seafood in the menu. Ramen too salty, not worth it! Other than the good oystersnothing much to write home about. Sorry!
Shannon Johnson
This is absolutely one of the best restaurants at the oceanfront! This was our last visit on vacation for dinner and we are more than happy we made that decision. Everything was extremely fresh and the cocktails are delicious. We love oysters and this is the place to go for them.

I always have a great experience at The Atlantic. The service is top notch and the food is excellent. Check out the specials. The linguine with clams is soooo good! Small but truly exceptional. The oysters are ALL good too.
TARATANK07
So it's truly a 5 for the delicious taste of the food, social distancing and the cleanliness along with the waitress super sweet. But for what you pay for the entree was an appetizer size. Delicious food just wanted more of it. Had the shrimp with lobster or crab with a cheese sauce . it was in a small seashell which the entree was in but I could hold my Whole entree in my hand and I'm a woman with small hands.. It came with no sides was still hungry afterwards .... Loved the quality ....needed more quantity...
Cruise Cycle
I loved it. We have lived in the beach area for decades and like to check out restaurants during the annual restaurant week. Like many of the participating restaurants, the Atlantic had a special set menu for the week. I can honestly say it was one of the better meals I have had at many local restaurants, and better than any of the places in the fancy hotels or other locations directly on the beach. Happy to say, the Atlantic also has Wednesday specials including $6 hamburgers which is as good as it gets in this area. Even better, prices are generally moderate making it a great deal. And finally, if you like oysters, this is the best place in VB as the breadth and depth of the variety and offerings is spectacular - AND they are also part of the Wednesday specials.
The staff was super friendly, very competent, the place clean and we'll maintained, the bar staff well qualified and knowledgeable, and best of all in my book the design of the place superb. The acoustic design was such that you could actually hear your diner partners.
Very HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It's the place to choose if in the area and looking for the best meal at reasonable prices.
Ryan Gilliland
Food was a little pricey but worth it. Happy hour is the time to go. Oysters rock and the fried oysters are on point. Great atmosphere great food perfect spot for any local or visitor for a good selection of oysters and seafood.
Erica P
Best fried shrimp I've had in a while. My friend said the oysters may have been the best she's had. Crab cake was excellent. Service was great. The grapefruit juice was not real and could have been better. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.
Russ Sehnert
Such amazing food and fabulous staff!!! Must experience it for yourself!
Lennse Garcia
Great foodie spot! The bar is very trendy; love their frose cocktail! The food portions are rather small so expect to order a lot of dishes to get full.
Trinity Perez
this was the best food i ate in months. 11/10 recommend! everything on the menu is excellent! thanks elena for helping out you were great! will make a trip back to VA beach just for this restaurant!
Germaine Shields
Absolutely deliciously amazing food and service. I love this place. My daughter's and friends go quite often. All the staff including Vince is great 👍
Cristy Lewis
I eat here every time I visit! I wish I lived here to eat here more! Go! Go now! Enjoy the food! It will be an experience you won’t forget. Worth every penny! Run! Get there now! Sit at the oyster bar with Slim because he is awesome! Seriously why are you still reading?!
Peter
One of the best restaurant's and bars in Virginia Beach, if not the whole state. The staff was unbelievable nice and attentive, but definitely not overbearing. The drinks were very well made and I enjoyed one of the better old fashions that I've had in my life. The sangria was nearly perfect. And as for the food, it is excellent. While the seafood was extremely fresh and amazing (as they are known for), there was nothing on the menu which wasn't appealing. Their cream of potato soup was out of this world. My girlfriend had their Double Patty Griddle Burger and just from one taste I could tell it was amazing. The waiter told us that the ground beef is actually made in house and you can definitely tell from the taste. Definitely going again.
Alex B
The food is amazing!! I had the baked scallops, fried shrimp, and the crab balls. These may all sound regular but the sauce and presentation put everything over the top. The flavors work together very well! I definitely recommend
Philip Shea
So, I usually give five stars to a place that meets expectations. The Atlantic far exceeded expectations! We had clams Rockefeller, among other things, that were just fantastic. Excellent bar, great wine list (a great Nero d'avola that they will pour by the glass!), Happy energetic staff, and super happy hour prices.
This is the new best place in VA beach! Go early!
joe mazzella
Excellent service and amazing food. As someone who does not love seafood I thought I had limited options. I ordered the steak frites and it was fantastic. Excellently cooked and the fries were seasoned well. It would have been nice with a vegetable but I won't complain about not having to eat my veggies. The only downside was their outdoor seating is in the parking lot under a tent with limited airflow so it got quite hot and stagnant.
M G
Food comes in smaller portions. Everything we have ordered was delicious. All dishes had unique flavors. We are taking Honey Miso Glazed Salmon home. This one was the best! Great service.
Al C.
Food was fresh and flavorful, the seafood soup tasted better than pricier places we had been to. My wife remarked that the calamari didn't have the usual rubber texture to it. They carry a fairly wide selection of beers, including one sour I was pleased with. The portion to price ratio is spot on, we got enough to take home for another meal!
Dominic Stryfe
This place was absolutely incredible. The staff was polite, and very covid-safe mannered. I went for Oyster happy hour and my taste buds were blown away :)
Must eat before you leave. Get every type of oyster.
Craig Runyon
Polite, friendly, helpful and efficient. Very knowledgeable staff. Atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, will surely return soon!
Robert T
Great service, great food, Gabriella was so attentive and remembered us for a few days earlier in the week
Kathleen Smith
We were looking for a good seafood spot; so glad we found The Atlantic! The oysters were SO good as were our main courses. Super interesting wine list. Great staff.
Recommend going for lunch when it is much less busy. Note, they only take reservations for groups of 5 or more - open table doesn’t tell you that so it can look like you can’t get a table.
Angela
Went here for Valentine’s Day, ordered 3 of every oyster on the menu. Was not disappointed!! Sex on the beach were the best oysters by far. Everything brought to us was spectacular, they have a Spanish Prosecco that is even better than the Italian version. The service was above and beyond. Going back tonight. Highly recommend for dinner with friends, family, or a date.
David Decker
There is typically a wait at this restaurant as it is on the trendy side. The drinks are generously poured and the seafood is good and fresh. They have a rotating specials menu and they have a full bar. It's a little classier than your typical seafood place in VB.
emily sholder
CAN I BRING THIS RESTAURANT TO PENNSYLVANIA? I would give them 10 stars if i could. Like take all my money. I can not say enough good things about this place. The service is spectacular, the staff is soo nice and truly make an effort to do the best job they can. There is a full bar so whatever your drink of choice is you got it. ( I recommend the frozen mango lemonade which you can add whichever alcohol you would like I get it with vodka) its soooo good. The plates are small. Its like tapas. The food is soo good and its definitely quality try the fried pickles ( best ive ever had) the lobster and chorizo queso had my eyes rolling to the back of my head in delicious pleasure. The shrimp cocktail has 4 jumbo shrimp. The shrimp, scallop and pork dumplings come as 4 and the seafood and meat are ground together into the dumplings same with the pasta. The hush puppies are delicious and so is the crab dip. And the nashville hot chicken sandwich is everything you want in a chicken sandwich. Id write more but im currently eating here for the third and final time this week before I go home tomorrow and I want to enjoy every bite before my family finishes it.

Lovely atmosphere, great Happy Hour specials!
Kevin Ung
The 6$. Happy hour burger is incredible. Double smashed patty burger. Super crispy patties and fries. It's the best 6$ burger in VB
Bob Shepherd
I love this place. The happy hour specials are great especially the oysters. I tried the oysters raw, fried, Rockefeller, Pacific, Chesapeake, and Roasted Chili Butter. All were excellent. I've previously tried the salmon crudo and the lobster roll, both also very good.
Brittany Pauley
The staff was attentive to us. The bartender did amazing with the drinks. The food is small plate so if you look at online menus it says 10 to 16 dollars for the plates but the plates are small. It's more for the experience but the food is so fresh and delicious it's worth it for the atmosphere!
stephen dockeney
Best happy hour oyster special by far!! The oysters are amazing and we make a special trip just for the happy hour special.
Lori Croom
Our server Mara was great! She was attentive and friendly and definitely knows her stuff. Red dragon drink was not our favorite, but no worries switched it to new era..wow! If u love bourbon this is your drink. Oysters shocked well, caviar blinis tasty. Shellfish pasta plenty for 2 ppl. Nice chewy homemade squid ink tagliatelle. Good job,we will be back!

We had a Togo order (glad we did they were packed) everyone enjoyed the food.
Ronald Goldsmith
If you like oysters and good seafood, you will not want to miss this place. My wife and I go here whenever we are in Virginia Beach. Happy hour is awesome and the service is great.
Anton Matievski
Probably the best tuna poke of my life. Also the oyster selection is off the charts. Really enjoyed the black point.
John Reade
Awesome experience! We sat and ate at the corner of the bar. The atmosphere is casual but very nice. Vincent was a great bartender / server. He made great suggestions for drinks and for the order to get our food in. We had the Southside with well bourbon (no need for better bourdon as the citrus overpowers it a little) and a white wine from Spain that Vincent suggested. For dinner we had the miso soup and the ham and pimento cheese sweet potato biscuits, both were delicious. The miso soup is filled with tofu, mushrooms and crab meat. The ham and cheese was covered with a light drizzle of a dark (local?) honey that had a great flavor. We also got the shrimp and scallop dumplings which were as beautifully crafted as they were tasty. They had sweet green onions covering them and a vinegar citrus-like soy sauce that made them have a great sweet and sour quality. Lastly, we got the pimento cheese plate, which came with pickled red onions, small pickles, bacon jam, a very generous scoop of pemento cheese, crackers and homemade seasoned crisp bread. In addition the cheese plate had my favorite item, pickled apple slices. My only suggestion for the plate would be an addition of some more fruit like figs or dates to offest some of the saltiness of the other items. Overall, a very pleasant experience and a great way to end our day in Virginia Beach. Would definitely recommend! If we get the chance to go back to Virginia Beach, we will be stopping in again.
Marla B.
Went during happy hour for the $1 oysters. I'm not much if an oyster person, but the oysters rock and Chesapeake were delicious.
Daniel Gulino
This place blew away our expectations and was worth the 45 minute wait. It was also more kid friendly then we expected.
It is also worth noting that we were at peak level beach starving before the meal, which probably added an extra star to the rating.
Meg
I would 110% recommend this place! Don’t give it a pass if you come down to VA beach. The food, the service, the vibe. Loved it! coming again
Dana Edwards
I liked the options on the happy hour menu. Prices were good. The seafood chowder had great flavor and a good amount of seafood. Our server was friendly and good. I really liked the ambiance. I look forward to going back.

Cool space, amazing food and drinks
William Frederick
Like everyone else, had to wait a bit for a table (25 minutes)... knew that going in. Was well worth it. Wait staff provided excellent recommendations based on our taste and portion sizes. Food was outstanding. Drinks were superb. Was our first time going here and without a doubt would go again as there were another 8-10 items in the menu we wanted to try. The crab dip, mussels, and brussel sprouts were beyond description.
Warren Perry
Very nice place. The food is excellent. We ordered the lobster mac and cheese, salmon and crab cake. We all share the dishes and all were very delicious. This is my second time at the restaurant and it was as good as the first time.

Just a great place with awesome service and food. Best happy hour in VB by far. Every bartender here can mix.
Sam W
Service was 5 stars. We made a reservation, were late and they called us to confirm our arrival time. Server was friendly knowledgeable and food came fast and was well presented and prepared. The food itself was 3 stars. The beet salad was excellent as were the deviled eggs. The fried shrimp were just ok, the sauce was heavy with old bay, the dumplings were good although it was difficult to taste the shrimp and scallops and they were dry inside. The salmon was very good and the crabcake, while very meaty, was ok, very little sauce and the broccoli salad that came with it wasn't a good pairing.
William-Henri Turcot
I have never encountered a better happy hour in my life. This is a majestic oyster fest and you can gorge in them. The service is good and very effective. I usually stick to the raw oysters, but their cooked ones were very interesting too.
King Hui
Got there 2:45pm and waitress looked tire and without smiles. Food was so so, mussel too slimy. Ordered 2 dozen of their oyster which was probably 3pm by that time. Then 3:10 we were given the dollar oyster happy hour menu... not that I'm mad,I can eat oyster all day. But would have been nice to tell us about it when we sat down
Josefina Frazier
My sister and I needed a day to ourselves and we wanted good food, with unique flavor and presentation... AonP did not disappoint. The atmosphere was charming and hip, cocktail menu fun, and food delicious. We loved everything we had, the Ham and Swt Potato Biscuits were sooo good as well as the Dumplings and the Shrimp and Grits, but our favorite was the goat cheese balls, we had to order a second round! We will definitely both return to try more of their amazing menu.
Ben K
The clam chowder had a great flavor, the hushpuppies were perfect with a slight sweetness and the jalapenos were a nice compliment. The oysters, man! Try the roasted ones with the chili butter. Best ones there! Overall good food and great service. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Great service!
Lauren T Kotlar
Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Virginia Beach. Their cocktails are amazing, they are pricey but they do not skimp you on the alcohol in there. 2 cocktails at this place are equal to 4 at any other restaurant. James, the head bartender, is so talented at crafting the cocktail menu. The food and oysters are just incredible. On top of that, this place feels like family. Every time I go, Vinny the GM, makes a point to say hi. Hands down best food, drinks, and vibe in VB!
Chris Pittman
Fantastic place! Great food, wonderful staff (Vincent and Rashad) and a superb setting. I'm from Texas and wasn't expecting much from the short ribs but I ended up asking for the recipe because it was absolutely incredible. The seafood was obviously better than whatever I could get at home but the big takeaway is that we felt right at home and made it back several times during our weekend stay in VB.
Christine Paluch
Exceptional. Maybe even Michelin star worthy. Easily the best meal I had in Virginia Beach. Could compete with the best places in DC. The cedar plank salmon was fantastic. The deviled eggs were amazing. The veggies were out of this world.
CY Chang
Food was great. Nice service. Reasonable price.
Alison M
Tried this spot for dinner and luckily was able to snag a booth at the bar for two immediately after being quoted for a 45 min wait over the phone.
They have complimentary valet parking here which is nice Bc it’s right off the beach and street parking is scarce here.
I really liked the ambiance and decor in this place. Nice lighting and high ceilings with a large and beautiful bar area. Everything is spotless and clean and beach-themed (fitting).
I like the menu. They have mostly shareable items so you can order several for the table.
We tried the special app for the night: lobster and chorizo queso with warm blue corn tortilla chips. This was delicious.
We also got a Ceasar side salad, fried shrimp, and the cedar plank salmon. All delicious. Nice size.
To finish, I chose lavender honey creme brûlée. It was off. We didn’t finish it. The crust on top was super hard and chewy and the inside was like not smooth and creamy but solid and chunky.
I ordered a lavender lemonade from the bar and it was so syrupy and sweet I couldn’t even drink it. Fail.
While my two lavender choices were not wins. Everything else was great. We will come back!
Fresh oysters from all over are a big draw for friends from out of town. Will add this to the rotation!
Richard Gross
Very nice place to stuff your face with all different kinds of oysters. They always seem to have 7 or 8 different kinds on the menu from around the region, plus lots of other seafood. I had 4 different types of oysters and the green coconut curry mussles. It was just wonderful
Jules S
Amazing happy hour! They do the best job cleaning oysters. Fun specialty cocktail menu too (and only $5 at happy hour which was a nice surprise).
Charmain McKinnon
Ate so many fresh oysters and and they were all sublime. Oysters Pacific oysters rock oysters Chesapeake and roasted oysters and the entire lusty of raw oysters. Staff was phenomenal bartender manager everything was fukn great...he truly enjoyed his bday especially the vanilla cake shot at the end....
Sue Kell
Ate out in the heated tent with my 94 yo Dad. We were comfortable and well attended to. Even though the setting was not so elegant, the food was elegant. So glad we went! Delicious!
Shizhong Yang
Excellent seafood!!! Super nice people!!!

Amazing tasting salmon, perfectly prepared crab, and outstanding customer service. Rosean is an awesome waiter.
