Best Rockefeller oysters I've had in my life! Went to get a piercing changed next door and we noticed this establishment while leaving! We ended up going twice in the same day. Great vibes and the bartenders were very chill. A go to spot from now on whenever we visit Va Beach. And they have cornhole boards out back!

If I had any idea the crab dip was going to be a huge bowl of crab meat with just a little cheese to make it delicious, I would have never ordered the clam chowder. Unfortunately, I had to leave the half a bowl of delicious clam chowder because it was so much food. All servers were great.

I enjoyed my meal and the staff made sure to check on us even if we were not their table. Everyone was really super nice and you can tell the locals love to come here as everyone knew each other’s names. I got the oysters they were super super fresh and the atmosphere was awesome as well as decor. I would go back as it is also super super close to the beach and really want to try other items they have on their menu! Specifically hearing the ouster rockafellers are good.

There was hardly anyone in there when we went around 5:30pm on a weekday during our vacation, but it seems to be a great little spot for fresh seafood and drinks! We were given a TON of crab dip with our chips, and it was delicious. Prices were reasonable too, for the seafood. Would go back!

Awesome place to stop and get some drinks! Great deals on seafood and the Crab Dip is out of this world! (Coming from a Maryland Guy) Drinks are great and they have plenty of beer on tap. (They let you sample if you're not familiar with the choices). Would highly recommend if you want affordable drinks and awesome food.

Wonderful service. Very tasty food. Cheesy Bread was top quality. Melting cheese, savory tomato sauce, crispy French bread-- perfect. Oysters Rockefeller were also very good, however more garlic should be added. Crab dip... DO NOT order, UNLESS you're with friends or you might eat waaay too much of this flavorful rich generous order! (Haha) Only complaint? NON STOP planes overhead!

We went there tonight after the Haunted Mansion with our son. We had the Oysters Rockefeller and it was so good we ordered another dozen. Cole even ate them and thought they were great. The bartender gave us great service and my wife has a new friend. We will definitely be going back to check out the Bands. I used to hang out there in the late 80s and early 90s and it brought back a lot of memories good and bad it was great.

Great place! Staff is amazing! So friendly. Eclectic atmosphere puts you in a relaxed space. We ordered the Feast and it was well named. A large tray filled with snow crab legs, cray fish , shrimp, oysters Rockefeller, broccoli and a few potatoes. Crayfish zre steamed on orange juice and a house larger with some of the steaming liquid reserved for dipping. The is a must visit!

Amazing food. Had Seaside nachos, roast beef melt, crab dip, Bloody Maria's and half and half (shrimp and crab legs) Everything was so flavorful. Our 11 y/o son said, "We drove 16 hours to get here, and this meal made it worth it!" Music was great too, George Clinton! Service was prompt and friendly. They checked on us many times, and even brought samples of beers to my husband to try. Highly recommend!

Food is great! Oysters, crab dip, sandwiches, etc. The soda lines weren't working and they offered cans, which was fine. They were also out of soup this day, would've like to have tried it. It's definitely a bar atmosphere. Staff was friendly, didn't really go out of their way to make you feel warm and welcomed on our particular visit.

This was a great spot for a late Friday night dinner! The food and drinks hit the spot, and the ambiance was great. The servers were really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Every time I ordered a drink, it felt like it arrived within 30 seconds. We grabbed a table when it was still pretty empty but as the night went on, the bar really filled up with a lively, young, and diverse crowd. The DJ played a ton of Biggie songs and mixed in a lot of newer stuff, too. Try the crab dip appetizer!

Food always a hit... Bartender was a lil too "local" acting. I go to Seaside occasionally but my friend doesn't. She was very offended. At one point he rubbed me the wrong way. I ordered nachos, all my food came up except the nachos. I called him to ask about my nachos and he says "hold up, these people spending a lotta money". WHAT? Between me and my home girl we had just spent $50 on food (for two) and wanted a second round of drinks. We got our food to go. I had drinks in my fridge in my room. We left and found somewhere else to go. I have never had such a ride server here before. Busy but never rude... AND HE WAS!! My favorite local spot when I'm in Virginia Beach 😁

#localsonly jk but seriously a local gem. Literally it would be dead everywhere else but this lovely hole in the wall kinda bar is still going up. Though it feels small at first you then realize it's definitely bigger than you think. Check out the open outside area with multiple seating arrangements, fire pits, stage and spacious 'grass' lawn.

My husband and I were looking for a low key raw bar in the VA Beach area recently and we happened upon the Seaside Raw Bar. This is a very unassuming bar with awesome oysters on the half shell as well as fantastic Oysters Rockefeller. The Bloody Marys were a perfect way to start our day exploring the area as well. Excellent bartender with a very friendly personality was a bonus. Don't let the rustic appearance deter you - its a gem!

One of my favorite places to get Oyster Rockefeller!! It is just as good if not better than Tautogs or Atlantic on Pacific! Cool place to hang out back, play corn hole, and have some drinks. Check it out!!

Cool laid back environment, however seats were wet in outside part and my signature drink (tequila sunrise) had little to no OJ (drinkable but not delicious). My colleagues enjoyed and outside waitress was WONDERFUL AND ATTENTIVE!!

First time visit, regulars on a Thursday sitting around the bar. Had the Loaded cheesy garlic bread and it was fantastic! Great flavor, nice and crisp with the right amount of toppings!! Other options include fresh seafood and happy hour specials daily. Must visit!!!!

This place is awesome and has one of the best bar tenders in the business (Mark). I was there last week and ordered a surf nachos and my goodness it was incredible. These guys are always very friendly and I have never received bad services or products there. I have actually visited this establishment about 10 or more times. There are lots of bars and clubs to choose from in the area and this one is certainly one of my go-tos. I highly recommend this place and encourage everyone to give them a shot as I promise you will not be disappointed. Do not let the look and decor of the place fool you. It is a dive looking bar but so worth the time and money spent there. I will continue to frequent this place every time that I am in town.

A black doorway into a dark place held the most delightful young men maintaining the bar! We did not fit in the scene well with our touristy/mom/daughter look, but they made us feel right at home!! We both ordered the crab legs and shrimp, which happened to be on special for $10.99. Oh my gosh!! Everything was absolutely cooked perfectly!!! Kudos to this "hole in the wall" gem!!! We stopped in on a holiday weekend, wasn't too busy. We ordered a dozen raw oysters and they came out within 5 minutes. The oysters were a good size and had good flavor and texture. Would recommend to oyster fans. They hand shuck the oysters right behind the bar.

Came down from NY during Neptune Week last September. Had such a great experience that we hit that spot again today when we were in town for a concert. Bobby the bartender and Sean the bar back/cook are hysterical and keep us quite entertained. Best local spot and hidden gem for fresh seafood and good company. Oysters, crab legs, shrimp are yumm-o, and the seafood nachos are ridiculously good!

This was one diamond in the rough. I came down here for vacation looking for good food and a good atmosphere. This place has both and I would highly recommend it. The staff are cool, food blew me away, the music was good and the only downside would be the size of the place. But that's the charm of this little hole in the wall.

The half and half deal on Thursday and Friday the best on the beach. You get half a pound of shrimp and half a pound of snow crab with real butter. Drink prices are a little high but not too crazy. Overall great service great food.
