One of my favorite mom n pops to eat at, 10/10 sea food and the woman who runs the place is just the sweetest. Seriously, couldn't dream of a better cooked shrimp. 100% recommend

Their Fried crabs are perfect!! They have good lunch specials too, but I go for the crabs! However, the man who answers the phone REALLY needs a customer service course. His whole mannerism is very "what do you want?" I want to support them but he is ruining it. Politeness goes a long way.

I never had a bad experience but I always walk in and place my order and the fish is tremendously good to me. We ask the them to fry it hard from the chicken to the shrimp fried oysters and wait a minute even the cabbage is good. No complaints here so far when I do I will post and update. And as for the prices you get what you pay for its worth every penny you spend.

A little, no-frills mom-and-pop seafood joint. Generous portions of fresh and tasty food as well as very courteous service. The seafood platter, especially the shrimp, was superb, as was the fried tilapia. The sides were also excellent.

I called ahead to order my food, arrived 10 minutes later and she started my food when I got there. Then when it was time to pay for the food my chip on my card didn't work so she had to manually enter it in. After she did it , she said " You need to order new card, that take too long." It took all of 2 minutes , if that. I wanted to say well it wouldn't have taken as long if my food was prepared when I arrived." Overall the food was pretty good, crabcake was actually made with real crab. But the customer service was T R A S H !

I enjoy the food I get from there everytime which is either the whiting or the fried pork chop. They use to be very slow years ago but now they are pretty quick getting food out

When my grandma was alive and surprised me by visiting me in VA, i made sure she ate at all my favorite places. She couldn’t eat seafood but the menu has so much more to offer and she loved it. She was very satisfied and I’m forever grateful. Will always be one of my favorite spots.

I could have swore they nice lady at Asian store told me right your number down and we ll call you . So I went to the new herbalife store to get a milkshake thought I was killing time come to find out I was at herbalife wasting time for a hour and when I got back to get my food my food it was sitting on the counter I said to her I thought u said you would call me. She said no that's for sweepstakes. Lol Wow. So I'm pulling off I try there breaded shrimp taste like heaven .so long story short I was eating the fish 15 min later and it's like it's dried out . Like she gave me some old whiting . I said even if fish was fresh it wouldn't be dried out in the next hour so I don't think I ll be getting any more fish from there 7.99 a meal and purchased 2meals.

I would give 5 stars, but I travel about 25mins to come to Ocean Seafood for the steamed crabs and every time I call they say allow 15 to 20 mins... However when I finally get there the order is NEVER ready and I always have to wait another 20mins, if not more! I'm already traveling about 30mins the least they could do is actually have them ready...

I was craving some fish and chips today. i remembered seeing a seafood joint on newton road right next to grandmart. I walked in and surprised a little lady working the restaurant all by herself, cooking, answering phone calls and thus, taking my order. So straight to the point, I ordered a C6: the fish and chicken combo with hush puppies and two sides of mostly french fries, because "Fish and Chips". Opened the hatch and to my surprise, two mega size fish fillet with a bed of freedom fries, on the side glorious mouth watering bigger than your average chicken wings and of course the two funny looking hush puppies. After consuming one fish fillet, three buffalo style chicken wings and a bed of chips(fries) I inevitably succumb from fullness. If i had another me he would of ate the other side left untouched.

The chicken wings are delish!!! Better than the chain restaurants. Customer service is amazing. I encourage you to try them out!

Food is made fresh. Customer service really great! The only reason I did not give five stars is due to the macaroni and cheese and greens which were both quite soggy.

The hush puppies sometimes be burn but when you tell her the next time she remember and make it right the tilapia is nice size but if you want another piece its 3.00 dollars a little to much for me I brought watermelon got home and it was bad they should have a policy if it's bad we can bring it back with recent no excuses

This oriental lady show can cook some fish. I love her coleslaw and her shrimp! she could do a little better with the hushpuppies but overall you are going to have a wonderful seafood experience!
