M regNo trip to Virginia Beach is complete without experiencing the Chops dining experience. The food is as always exceptional and the service a phenomenal standard. The drink menu is extensive, something for everyone. The steaks made perfectly to preference. The servers are knowledgeable on the proper pairings of wine and food. Do not miss this steakhouse.
JEFFREY OLSONPrice point was normal. Food was good. Food took a long time but we had a large group. Steak was good but not great. Service was top notch and beers were cold!
Erica FullerThe Staff and atmosphere was nice, food was good, except my steak was very dry as you can see from the picture. Yes I asked for it to be well done but it was definitely over cooked it also was $79 for that small amount of food… I have been to other upscale Restaurants and for that price I would have gotten a Rock Lobster tail and a better steak. I don’t even think it was a half of Lobster tail. If your in town I think it’s worth a try. But you don’t get a lot of food.
Takeyia SherrodGreat atmosphere and food! Love the ambiance and our waitress was very attentive. Had the cucumber tini (not pictured) but was AMAZING! Food was great very well seasoned and great portion. We were recently engaged and our waitress gifted us the ice cream and champagne at the end of dinner. Will definitely be back I have a few items I’d like to try including the shrimp risotto which looked great from afar 🤗
Tijha ChapmanGreat 21st birthday experience! I throughly enjoyed my dinner at chops this past Monday. The food and drinks were great. I got lamps chops for my main dish and mashed potatoes for my side. My drinks for the night were the red mohito and berry bliss and both were great. The only downside was that my partner received his dish 10-15 minutes before everyone else at the table. That did leave a bad taste in my opinion because he was nearly finished eating when the rest of the party started. Other than that, I had a great time.
Ben NelsonWe had a delicious meal at Chops tonight. We started off with some wine and Beef Carpacio as our appetizer. Then we split the chopped salad before our entre. For our entre we had the sirloin with mashed potatoes and asparagus. For dessert we had the Chocolate Cake. The food was great, the service was amazing. If we weren't just visiting the beach we would be visiting often.
Carol KaneWhat a fantastic dinner at Chops. Our party of seven delighted in shrimp, scallops, rack of lamb, salmon and jambalaya. Each dinner was served piping hot and full of flavor. The desserts were to die for. We loved the Cream brûlée, lava chocolate cake, and lemon cake. Abby was the most attentive and friendly server. We can’t to go back.
VENESSA JOHNSONLoved everything about this place. I came for dinner to celebrate my girlfriend's 50th birthday. The drinks were great. Our waiter was accommodating. The manager was welcoming. The atmosphere was just right for a Saturday night. And everything we ordered tasted great. The lamb chops are a must?
A-AronLate Valentine’s Day review: This restaurant is in a tough place to spot unless you have heard of it. It’s in a plaza that is on the left hand side of the street and super easy for o miss. It’s one block from the waterfront of VaBch (all the way down Laskin Rd).
It was pretty crowded but I expected nothing less on Valentine’s Day.
Our server was Abigail (Abi) who was 5 stars of a server. Very attentive, asked if we needed anything and interacted well for food/drink recommendations.
The calamari was decent. Marinara was fantastic but Parmesan cheese always goes well with calamari and marinara.
We always get a filet anywhere we go and order them medium temp. The steaks were superbly cooked. I would rate 1 of the 2 steaks a 9 out of 10 it was cooked that good (medium temperature). The only reason it didn’t get a 10 was it had a tad too much salt on it.
The asparagus and broccoli sides were delicious as well.
Unfortunately we didn’t get dessert but they looked yummy.
I’d definitely come back here for their steak in the future!
