The food was delicious! I’m from the North East and this lobster roll really took me back! The scallops were tasty, but the breading fell off very easily. Still absolutely delicious, would definitely go back! If you’re looking for a restaurant with nice shore vibes, look no further!

I LOVE this place!!! I’ve been twice now and already feel like a regular…which I plan on being! The vibe is awesome, food is even better! You can’t find clam belly’s in this area but they have them seasoned and cooked to perfection! The lobster rolls are so full, fresh and meaty!

Wayne and his team are awesome. The only thing better than these amazing people is the food. We had a party of 21 and he set up tables for us outside and offered us table service. I have to tell you about the lobster rolls and whole belly fried clams. I had high expectations and they were absolutely exceeded. My sons videoed me having a foodgasm as I bit into the Maine style lobster rolls. It's a funny video that I wish I could post here. My eyes rolled into the back of my head and my body wanted to dance with joy. The whole belly fried clams were also very good. The fried haddock fish and chips were also excellent. Pictured are the CT style lobster roll which was very good, but the Maine style was better. Also pictured is the haddock fish and chips and the fried shrimp scallops and whole belly clams. I looked at about 20 restaurants that all had fried clam STRIPS, but only here at A Bite of Maine was the signicantly superior whole belly fried clams. Strips, in my opinion are like fried rubber bands. To summarize my fantastic experience is Wayne and staff are awesome, Maine style lobster roll may cause you to have an orgasm, whole belly fried clams are amazing, and the haddock fish might have been a side of haddock, it was huge. All the prices were very reasonable. Can I say more in this glowing review? YES GO THERE YOU WILL BE HAPPY!

Wow...this place is simply amazing. I've been to Maine and have had my share of lobster rolls/sea food and this restaurant definitely took me back. The food was insanely good and the staff was super nice and friendly! If you want to take a mental trip to Maine or simply want some delicious food, or even both, look no further and hurry up to A Bite of Maine!

Absolutely loved this place! Fried chicken burger and lobster roll (mayo base) were both delicious! They were also giving out chowder samples, it was really good as well. They do get busy, and for a good reason. We Can’t wait to come back!

We so wanted fresh seafood and love lobster as well! Best I had around this is a must eat at place!!! The Connecticut style Lobster rolls (hot with the lobster butter), the haddock, the Lobsta chowda, all was so so SO delicious!!! I had been so wanting a fresh lobster roll. We went with our kids and we all loved it so much! We will be going here whenever we are down visiting VA Beach! This is a MUST try place! 5 out of 5! So good!

Cute spot with reasonably price and unique offerings on the menu. We ordered traditional poutine and lobster poutine. The lobster poutine was salty but delicious with chunks of lobster meat. The poutine was made with shredded mozzarella and not the traditional cheese curds with a very salty brown gravy.

We drove an hr to get here. I was hopeful based on all the great reviews but it didn't deliver for us. The breading doesn't stay on no seasoning, the CLAM BELLIES were nothing short of amazing is why I did give 3 stars.
