Reviews of Via Italia wood fired pizza

Absolutely world class Italian restaurant, the ingredients used in the food is so fresh and delicious. The pizza is wood fired which add another amazing layer of flavor. The menu is large and it has some really unique stuff like the fried dough cone that I just can stop eating 😅 they also have Crepe! It’s so yummy to finish with. I went twice in 2 days and plan on coming more and try everything on the menu. The service is fantastic and the place vibe is really welcoming. I can’t be happier that we have this amazing restaurant in our neighborhood and I highly recommend it

This was a wonderful experience. I am not one to usually like paying lots for pasta because actual good pasta is hard to make. This felt so authentic. The sauces where clearly prepared from scratch, with good quality ingredients. It would not be a restaurant I could afford multiple times a month but they have good deals each day of the week which helps. They seem to be fully staffed, it was efficient. We will probably be back when we want a date night that is special.

Nice little family-owned neighborhood pizza place in the Hunters Green area. The food was good, especially the Burrata with Prosciutto E Melon and the Ravioli. They probably could have been a little more generous with the protein on the Shrimp and Avocado salad, but that dish was pretty decent too.

Fantastic authentic Italian pizza restaurant in New Tampa! The crepe selection is amazing as well as the aray of crafted cocktails and wines on tap. The service is swift and friendly. The small town vibe here is so welcoming as I sat at the bar, the regulars invited me into their conversations like I knew them! Pizza is so delicious!

We have come various times and we always have great service and the food is amazing. I love the pizza and salads but today we had the lobster ravioli and the farfalle Al Salmone and it was exquisite. So flavorful. If you want authentic Italian, this is it!

Really dang good! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a good pizza 😁
I got the cheese, as I always do when trying out a new pizza place and they did not disappoint! Just check out the stretch on that cheese 🤤
I can't recall my waiters name, but he's from Ireland and has the accent (which I just love!) and he was easily top 3 waiters of my life thus far. If you're in chapel and want some pizza, you HAVE to drop by here!

Ate here for the first time, and was immediately impressed. Got the high end meat and cheese plate (pictured) and it was even better than it looked (if that’s possible). They also have different types of olive oils on the table ( the chili olive oil was my favorite), as well as a nice balsamic vinegar. I would recommend giving this place a try if your on the mood for some real Italian food. I’m going to try a pasta dish next time!

Love this place. It’s our favorite Italian restaurant by far. Absolute best charcuterie board, bread is so good, with a light touch of olive oil and delicate crunch that doesn’t kill your mouth top. Great pizza has a balanced crust that has a little brick oven char to it (you’ve got to try the fig jam with prosciutto—amazing!) meat lovers calzone is spicy which I prefer and the croquettes (arancini) are perfection. The meatballs were so good dunked in their house marinara— positively kid-worthy! Pasta made fresh- the gnocchi is my favorite- very light little pillows. Italian margarita was a perfect spin on a classic. We’ve Always gotten great service. Kinda pricey but worth it for sure.

We were looking for the Italian food for the Friday night. We decided to order food from Via Italia. We called and picked up the order in 30 minutes. For the food we ordered Bruschetta Perfect, Burrata with Roasted Vegetables, Ravioli con Ricotta e Spinach, Fettuccine Alfredo, Rigatoni alla Norma, Woodfired 12" pizza and Parmigiana di Melanzane. The food was hot. We loved each and every food item we ordered especially Ravioli, Bruschetta, Pizza. One of the popular Italian Restaurant in Tampa. Do try this restaurant.

Stopped here on a Saturday for a late lunch/early dinner with a large party. We ordered the eggplant parm and a 12 inch margarita pizza, both were very good. We also ordered a meat and cheese board as an appetizer which was large enough for several people to share. The servers were friendly, attentive and patient with our large party. The menu was very extensive, which can be both good and bad as the number of options is a bit overwhelming, but more of just a personal opinion and not a real negative. Would go back again.
